This app is so buggy and the shadowban system in particular completely unfair. You can get shadowbanned seemingly at random with no one notifying you of why and although you can appeal the vast majority of appeals go unnoticed.

Reddit, please stop INSISTING that I use your app while I'm browsing Reddit using my phone's web browser!!! A pop-up that you can't close and are forced to refresh the page to get rid of, only for it to pop up 15 seconds later is extremely frustrating! I just want to look something up real quick, not install yet another app on my phone. Please stop! Please!!!!!

Horrendous app. Home page refreshes so often when you click into a thread, then return to home page. saw 5 threads on home page u wanted to visit? good luck, once you go into one, the app will refresh and you'll lose those threads. same with comments: if you scroll through 159 comments and then want to add a reply to one, one you post your reply, you will be brought back to the very first comment, making you scroll through the next 159 comments to resume reading from where you were at.

Good for daily life use and can buy used to see daily news about politics and about national and etc .

80% of the ads I see are for some AI slop. Half of the posts seem to be from new accounts with no other posts and it really feels like everything I see is regurgitated by bots.

Reddit is an interesting platform where users can participate in discussions and share knowledge through different communities. I like how it provides access to diverse opinions and real-life experiences. It is especially useful for discovering information about specific interests.

The app is full of bugs on Android. I'm on the latest edition and refuses to allow user sign-in always showing "invalid username or password" yet if I sign-in on a browser it works just fine. Both come from the same password manager. It's been a solid year of dealing with that bug. Feeds will just stop loading, even your own profile will stop loading mid browse. You have to kill the app and reload it. Seems like all of the dev money just goes into ads. 👎🏻

The worst banning and shawdowbanning algorithms around. Understaffed, customer service is a joke. More fake acounts than real ones. They need to burn it and start over.

the worst app ever. if you get banned for a silly reason on one account then all your accounts (even the ones you register later) will get banned too and they won't unban you. it's like they just don't want this app to succeed lol.

This app repeatedly locks up my phone, redering it unuseable. The buttons are unresponsive so I have to let the battery die and then charge it up some before I can use it again. The app and site constantly receive updates adding "features" nobody actually wants. UI changes that make little to no sense for human interaction and they removed the ability to turn off recommended subs and added a "for you" page when nobody uses Reddit as something to casually scroll. All in all, they're trying to turn it into TikTok.

Reddit has decided to junk up my feed with a ton of ads and "suggested" subreddits that I have no interest in. It's now almost useless to quickly see my groups. 0/10 would not recommend.

Great if you like a corporation creating a two tier internet. You can bypass a lot of the idiotic restrictions on the mobile web browser by switching to view as desktop mode. The now permanent switch to app banner at the bottom of the screen tells me some suit is sad their metric isn't being hit. cool didn't need to rewrite this

The app has become absolute garbage. Frequently doesn't load. Deleted and reinstalled and now I can't log in because it repeatedly gives me an error message. Can't read it on the browser either because a pop-up appears to install the app and can't be dismissed and freezes the page. I guess I just won't be using Reddit ever again.

Used to be the best app ever. Now just reeks of privacy concerns with all the trackers, tons of ads, and now all the best types of local community groups have been removed. I used to feel safe using this app..... now I feel like I'm under surveillance by unknown creepy entities who want to know everything about me literally

very good app for what is going on around the world and in the country. I like app so much.

Reading the posts in the various subs has taught me a lot about each of the subjects. Earning the rewards is also fun. I do tend to disagree with what some auto-bots that act a preliminary moderators think or don't think. And since the actual moderators are human they can sometimes be to dictatorial or rigid in rule enforcement. All in all if you accept the good with the occasional irritant, it's a lot of fun.

Worst app they keep banning the account again and again for reason of hate promotion verified by a bot. I don't know what to tell but this was my third account they took out for no reason, also the bots just keeps filtering on keywords and instead of understanding the comment they ban us I hate this was my third account I am frustrated now.

what the hell is wrong with this app nowadays. i'm a 34yo european, i dont want to be bombarded by bollywood subreddits or indianboysontinder or teensinphilipines LOL half of these are in a language i dont even understand, and then theres a limit to muted communties you can have, so you cant even select what you want to see. More than half of users are bots, moderators are narcisistic god complex losers and there's ads every 3 posts, most of them scams or fake advertisment. Reddit is finished.

Something called From Your Feed just showed up, it's visually awful, and unnecessary. It's a bummer, it disrupts the experience enough for me to limit my time on reddit, and will likely search for a different resource. What a shame. If you're reading this, Decision Makers of Reddit, please get rid of this 'feature'. Ironically, there are a lot of complaints on various Reddit threads. I'm not the only one. Swinging and a miss on this one, please remove it, or at least make it optional.

I sound like I'm exaggerating but literally 3/14 of posts I see are from subreddits I subscribed to. The rest are ads or recommendations. I have a screenshot and it is a very very long screenshot.
