What Happened On Viber? I Can't Change My Phone Number. I Want To Change My Number Because I Bought New SIM Card, Then I'm Trying To Change My Number But Still Have An Error Issues. You Are Focused Adding AI On Your App, Now Viber Looks Terrible And Confusing. 😡

Nice and easy to contact

Hello, Viber Media! I have a feature request. Cloud you work with Google to support Google Gemini and Google Assistant? I'd love these features. 1. 📞 Make Viber voice calls using Gemini. 2. 📽 Make Viber video calls using Gemini. 3. 💬 Send Viber messages using voice commands. 4. 🫂 Send messages in Viber group chats using Gemini. I hope you consider this feature for a future update. Thank you!

Hard to set up

I can't even get to where I can register my mobile phone number as i5 already says activation failure when I'm only in the activating mobile phone number stage. Your support is also useless as it's just a loop of sending support tickets after support tickets.

Editing my review to two stars because the AI stuff makes everything good about this app be on negative side. I liked the previous regular Viber messaging app.

Great

Great apps 👍

best app for communication with family, friends, groups & community. The Added AI feature is also amazing !!

The Messenger is decent. However there are view points: 1. I would like to have an option to remove Chat GPT completely from the app. According to my understanding translated messages will be stored at Open AI servers for 30 days. 2. When using my account on two devices it is not possible to use the pro- subscription on the second device anymore when the chat is backed up to a different google account. 3. Even on the paid account I constantly see Chat GPT advertisement besides opting out ads.

Great

Ok. Thanks a lot.

can't registet the number

good

Incredibly DISAPPOINTED, It has been a MONTH but My number still blocked by mistake because they thought I was a spammer. I rely heavily on Viber every day for both my personal life and work, and being cut off has caused major disruptions., and Viber support says problem solved but it is not, very unreliable and unproffessional. Please let me talk to a human support agent so that they can fix this ASAP, I still can't send a message or do a call, whatsapp is not like this!! so inconvinient

very good thanks you viber

add feature to directly send stickers from samsung gallery and send it as sticker in Viber. Can do on other messaging but not Viber.

Update, 2026: well, instead of getting better, you got worse. Commercials were introduced, the custom backgrounds reset to present ones, which are even uglier and more monotonous than the old one and you introduced AI! WHAT FOR?! I KNOW HOW TO WRITE MY OWN THOUGHTS! First comment: Some major issues have been fixed lately (e.g. custom chat background resetting to the default one), and I was thinking about giving Viber 5 stars, but then you blew it up with these new emoticons. They are ugly.

Terrible customer support even with paid account

get rid of the stupid ai features or at least let us disable them. It covers up half of the god damn screen

very good aplication

Most reliable service 👍✌️👌

Rakuten Viber Messenger

Thank you for your response. I followed your instructions and after a few days, everything's working fine, including the scroll-down arrow. Thanks again for your assistance.

"Crystal-clear voice calls and reliable messaging. It's a great alternative for staying in touch with international contacts smoothly."

translation stopped working for android for myself and a friend. they are pushing getting a chat gpt account. - response to owner. translation still isn't working for me or my friends. this part of the service is really the only reason we use viber.

Good job

I am paying subscription, but now this Viber decided to push adds on top of my main conversation screen. I resent the push on all AI tools for a simple direct message app. Please make a subscription with no AI tools. ≈==== Please give me the option to opt out of any GhatGPT. The main reason I am trying to move away from Whatsapp is Meta's push of AI in a message app. I want private conversations with people, not with bot.

Excellent app to be in touch with your family & friends 😀

Good

nice app

Doesn't even register incoming or outgoing calls half the time lol.

AI features became unbearable. I just cant stand anymore notifications that are not messages but AI suggestions I dont care about.

Worst Application. They blocked you even for a single message to someone and for uncertain periods like a month. Worst experience ever. Bettee use WhatsApp

I found this app totally hopeless . Whatsapp a lot much better than viber. Now when I am trying to make account I am not able to do.... what is this

I just want to have streaks in Viber please that would be so good 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️🙏

Saya suka menggunakan Viber kerana ia memudahkan saya untuk bersembang, membuat panggilan dan berkongsi gambar dengan orang tersayang

I just reinstalled Viber. I already have an account and just trying to activate it. It's been three days activating it via call and need to wait for 24 hour just to get another call again. I haven't recieve any activation call nor an SMS since the first day of trying to activate the account.

good

What do you mean not support clone apps? Even viber has option in settings for that! Besides, samsung, redmi and asus offer clone apps officially through their native dual messenger, dual apps and twin apps features respectively!

nice cool app 😊

I typed the last 4 digits of the incoming call and it said wrong numbers. Try again tomorrow. Seriously, that's your onboarding experience.

why it says Registration is failed? why i cant use or reactivate my existing account?

good

If i could give 0 i would. The ads are obnoxious and should not be in folders like business mail given that thanks to their pop ups ive deleted chats i shouldnt more than once. The unsolicited ad messages and lack of block button also add to this plus the inability to completely get rid of AI features

SUPER!!

Registration for me failed because the OTP did not come via both SMS and phone call. I am so disappointed as I wanted to use the app. I hope the team gets to fix this as soon as possible.

Viber is great familiar with us. We ❤️ Viber.

Viber is a pretty good app for messaging and making calls. It's easy to use, and I like that I can send photos, videos and voice messages without much trouble. Sometimes not many of my friends use it, but the app itself is quite useful. Overall, it's a good alternative to other messaging apps!

You've made me register with chat GPT to get my messages translated. I will be giving you one star for that for a long time!

It was fine the app before now I tried to recover my viber messages and it was said that all my messages were gone because there was a tick on the saving messages basically even if it's written it saves them up need manually save all ur msgs or u lose everything Thank you viber..... I cannot return anything. I hope they can fix this bug eventually...

Thank you for resolving the issue of the non-working scroll-down arrow. A few days after reporting this issue here, the scroll-down arrow is back to working. I hope this is just a temporary glitch.
