bait and switch.. features on the unlimited plan are being removed mid subscription. plaid has become a shell of the usefulness it once was. its just a decent voice recorder now.

After the latest app upgrade on my Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra, the app disconnected the device and now I can't reconnect it again. It's not finding the device.

fast and easy to use, transcription are almost 100% correct and the format is easy to read.

This is a massive tool for anyone. However for folks like myself with memory and focus disregulation (SEVERE ADHD), this is a game changer. I just took a a very technical course including complex computer science learning.... And the note taker more than kept up. The reports it spit out without me doing anything, are amazing! Very easy to use. Love the one touch highlight feature and mid transcribe photo or note addition. Perfect for courses with visual aids.

Waaay too complicated to understand the context of your notes after they get mangled by plaud.

I can't believe how many document formats are available. Still wish I see what everyone says on the transcript, but it does a good job trying to piece together multi-speaker conversations.

I used to love this app, but now they have removed the ability for it to auto assign names to speakers in meetings, making it only useful now if there are only one or two speakers. A real shame for such a backward move.

It saves me so much time with documentation it's hard to even put it into calculatable numbers. I also know the detail and level of comprehensive coverage I can give is exponentially higher with it Gathering every piece of information. I do wish there was a in between subscription between Pro and unlimited but you can also buy minutes so it's not a huge concern. I'm sure you can do it but I haven't figured out how to get it to shut off after about 3 hours and end up recording way more than I wan

Once you get the hang of it, it's quick and easy to use and provides great summaries.

You should not force recording announcements on users, especially since it is regulated differently per country. There are so many alternatives to Plaud for recording that this essentially kills the main reason to have Plaud hardware. 4.0 is also a seemingly rushed release.

why do I need a mobile app, I want the recordings to go directly from the physical device to the desktop app and web app, when do we get that update.

excellent app, assumed as biometric bracelet, inconspicuous activation when auditing my conduct is necessary. speaker labeling can be inaccurate but easy to just read through transcripts and relabel. The magic is the analysis: very thorough. 300 minutes a month, before paying for higher tiers - can export for use in other ecosystems. manually disconnecting the device from bluetooth, in the app menu, after transfers, solved my battery issues. 100% sound investment.

Plaud had exceeded my expectations. Very simple interface and largely accurate. The transcripts do not require much revision.

Plaud is like a mini office secretary that is very inconspicuous. It's mostly accurate, but the time it takes to edit is minimal. Battery life is great! Highly recommend. Update: Many things have changed since I purchased my Plaid device. Im not as happy as I was. Very limited formatting after detailed meetings. I still have to take notes and create the word doc to present to my Committee. Zoom meeting note taker is much better and easy to work with.

Very usefull

1 star — Why can’t I simply save my own recording to my phone? PLAUD can export a recording as an MP3, but on Android it just throws the file into the Share menu instead of a normal “Save to device". Samsung My Files isn’t even available as a destination. I have to upload my own recording to Google Drive and then download it again just to get an MP3 onto my phone. The devs replied to my reply with false info claiming there's a save to device and this is still not fixed. Regret purchasing device.

Tells you to download a 'newer version' as apk from their website when you try to create an account. Smells fishy.

Relatively new to AI being an older person. But this thing is making my life very easy. I hear there are others out there. But this one had the best reviews, so I bought it. I have no regrets!

I'm the secretary for a local volunteer grassroots advocacy group and The Plaud has been outstanding in helping to organize action items and hot topics. An absolutely amazing tool for getting things done efficiently.

Android app does not support background data transfer between the Plaude device & your phone, so you have to manually sync the device every time you use it. It works for Apple users but not Andriod... This also means "AutoFlow" (auto transcribe, summarize, and send email) is not actually auto.... Waiting for this to be fixed.

Plaud removed recognition of recurring speakers, so I have to name the same people again in every recording. The help center confirms the change without clearly explaining why. I use a Note Pro with Android and keep having to open the app to get recordings to sync. Too much manual work for a product meant to save time. Please restore recurring-speaker recognition and make Android syncing reliable.

The two main reasons I was using Plaud was because of the context queries outside of the meeting context, and the capability to remember who said what and when. Now that feature is completely wiped due to "privacy concerns"... weren't these concerns there before? Plaud dared to tell me "don't worry, you can do that manually EVERY TIME FOR EVERY MEETING". YOU SHOVE IT! I work with hundreds of people! I don't remember all their names and I can't keep track of that! You lost a customer.

Perfect device for capturing meetings and automating tasks. Often use on windows desktop but just got android tablet and hope I can capture zoom/teams meetings via the sound channel too on android.

This is a great tool to use for all your important meetings. I love being able to sit and finally listen to meetings knowing that all the important notes will be captured

ease of use

The product, its haptics, the AI, the app, and software already feel very legacy and far behind what we're actually used to applying in the day-to-day real world. The application of the whole working system of Claude feels like there is something missing that really makes it useful and helpful, starting with ease of the push of the button (which is not easy with my plot pin), ending with a subscription fee for AI transcription that is not worth it at all.

Plaud is useful, especially for meeting transcription and summaries. I’d like the AI summaries to be shorter and more focused on what really matters — key decisions, action items, who is responsible and deadlines. More customisation for different types of meetings would be great.

Seems very reliable and verbose. I do see the advertisement to upgrade to a paid plan occasionally but not too bad. the notes it takes are amazing and the mic is very sensitive and accurate.

The app is NOT for taking/writing notes, but purely for transcribing audio recordings, you do not TYPE anything manually. Sadly the description is a vague soup of words and you need to create an account to see for yourself.

Professional-grade app. 300 min/month of AI services included. Detailed report, comprehensive summary, AI suggestions, and mind map—including for recordings made with other devices. Easy full content share. In fact, became my businnes partner. The semi-rigid, leather-like case is a fantastic bonus that comes with the recorder. The app still needs to develop the "find my device" function for Android. I hope there will be news soon.

I had to have depositions for a legal case and it takes two weeks to get the official transcript back so using Plaud to get a virtually perfect transcript in less than 30 minutes is awesome.

It seems the developers of this app are more interested in (or at least they prioritize) developing the app for iOS devices. One of the latest features which has been released only recently allows for a very handy function: The ability to have any files which were taken via the Plaud Note Pro to be automatically transferred to the Plaud Note app. I wonder how many other people are frustrated with the fact iOS gets a very desirable and useful feature without any mention of Android availability.

Expensive note taker device with very expensive yearly subscription. it is a ripe off in terms of pricing. but, it is working as expected with very limited FOC 300 minutes per month. They should offer more because of the premium we pay for the device.

edit: MFA have been implemented. I’m using the Plaud Pro version, but I hesitate to rely on it. For a service that records and stores sensitive conversations, the security standards are too low. No 2FA/MFA and very limited password rules might have been acceptable 20 years ago, but not in 2025. Voice data is highly sensitive and cannot be “reset” if compromised. How well is my data really protected?

I don't leave home without Plaud. It has been a time saver during lectures in class. Plaud is the BEST!!

So far it looks like a solid solution for in-person meetings or even in-phone meetings. I'm trying the app on the desktop and it looks like it's going to be also great. My big problem though is that it's very in-depth connected to the Apple environment and not Google Android. It will be perfect and I will give 10 stars out of 5 if it will also connect to the Google Find My Device. and more intimate with Android ecosystem

Best money I've ever spent!

the app should be pretty straightforward, but is way too confusing. Actions that should be seconds take significantly longer and it seems that I only find what I need by inadvertently stumbling onto what I'm looking for. Then, the help / support process is useless... Succeeding in only increasing the degree of frustration.

Fixed issues, but app production is on stale, they do not fix issues, only adding new ai features. for example in multiselect I cannot delete anything

Plaud is on autopilot for support, my plaud note dies, i have jumped thru all their support hoops and they just keep asking the same questions, asking for videos and having me try to charge it, ive done all that a least 4 times, they are the worst, will be tossing this POS that google says has this known problem in the trash and buying the competitor, save your money!

No Dark Mode Makes it Unusable for me. I got a Note Pro to help with my vision issues and note taking. Really surprised that there is no dark mode in the app which makes it pretty unusable to me. Guess I will need to return it even though I was excited to use it. RESPONSE to developers question: simple it is unusable because I and others with vision issues cannot read the screen without a dark mode when you use grey text on a bright white background.

Don't buy this scrap, it's transcription capability is pathetic, all garbled, and then the Plaud team says I need to contact them. Really poor aftersales service. For a so called "premium product", I'm very sorry I spent all that money.

Great device and app but...needs the ability to stop generating and restart when recordings get stuck generating. While the issue is fairly rare, twice in about 50 recordings, there doesn't seem to be any fix for the problem.

Now I can actually transcribe everything without worrying about running out of minutes. This has been a game changer for me at work.

I can use this to record my meetings and phone calls with my staff in Marathi or Japanese ... It recognizes different languages and saves tons of my time . I am a heavy user. Once I had a problem because I changed from iphone to Android and the support team was better than best in resolving each and every issue asap.

Continually presented options to me when i was experiencing problems, would gracefully (read: non-pesteringly) ensure situational understanding. When life got busy with my attention temporarily taken, they would periodically check back in with a gentle nudge. Responses occurred in a few hours; often more frequently. NOT TO BE OVERLOOKED, the NotePin is a godsend to life. Fin.

The PLAUD NOTE Pro is a fantastic physical device with a great microphone and clear transcripts. However, their billing and support system is an absolute nightmare.I paid $422 upfront—including $240 specifically for the Unlimited Plan—and the money successfully cleared my debit account. Instead of activating my plan, the system only gave me the basic 300 free minutes, which vanished immediately. Now, the app is holding my device hostage, repeatedly asking for more money.

shocking quality. it was decent for a while, but since the recent updates it either doesn't transfere my recording or it captures some off my recordings okay then the rest is so muffled I might as well have been in another room with the pin. I was looking for a device to make my life easier but its actually caused me stress and alot of money. thanks for nothing.

It really needs a dark theme!

I can access the files using Bluetooth, Microsoft Windows, etc. Records everyone in a group clearly, even when several feet away. However, when you turn on speaker identification it does record each speaker, but I feel that sometimes it gives them a different speaker identification even though they may be the same person.

When taking notes during lectures and meetings, I always miss something. Not anymore! This is awesome!
