This app sucks. I got this app and they overdrafted my account. so I figured I'd use it sense they already took the money out and low and behold there's nothing on there. You might as well get cable TV because you have to watch stuff like. Even the options that you do get are VERY limited. Not to mention the freaking ads are 3 minutes long and you charged me 30 dollars for that, thats crazy.

Philo is really good for all the shows that i watch. App is really nice. Love it. Please continue to improve for better design improvements..

You get what you pay for! I found the interface guide cheaply made and had some issues with it. Hard to see. Sometimes the programs on some channels will get mixed up with the programs on the other channels on the guide. I think you should have more control over what you can record also. I went back to DirecTV streaming even though I'm paying more. You pay less so you get less is all I'm saying.

UPDATE-They added the 10 second feature! Now all it needs is the sorting of saved shows or movies. Thank you! Original post - I love Philo but this app REALLY needs a 10 second rewind and forward option like all my other streaming apps. It's a pain when you miss something and have to move the slider to go back. I also dont like that you can't view saved stuff by Show or Movie like I can thru Roku. I'll give this a better rating if these features are ever added

On the TV it freezes up like everyday. It just spins and spins. I'm paying for a service that I do not fully receive. Getting real close to canceling if I can pay for this one channel station I want and like.

Their cheapest is $25 a month with ads and they do not give refund. This app is a rip off. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

To be blunt, this app sucks! Signed up for the basic plan which is $30, and granted, Philo can do with their app what they want, but when you're trying to watch a movie, and every 15 to 20 minutes, you're hit with 2 minutes worth of ads, it gets incredibly ANNOYING! And its the same stupid ads each and every time! Good God! I can see why people probably don't stick around for this junk go be charged to their card. SMDH!

Very easy to use and find what I'm looking for, plus Philo is the ONLY App with every major Network s plus recording and On demand. this will actually be replacing Hulu Netflix Disney and Paramount. a 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We have had Philo for a few years. We used to love it. There have been changes we do not like and now we are looking at new options. A large issue is the fact that new episodes are no longer marked. You have to go into each one of your saved shows to see if there is a new episode. We don't know what day a new episode records. We have missed shows that moved way down on the list. It is a waste of time going into each show to see if you have something else to watch. There are more issues

My son has autism and tourettes syndrome. All his favorite channels are on Philo. He's happy that makes me happy.

The channel guide is horrible. When you click a channel to watch you can't flip thru the channels without go back to the guild. When you go back to the guild it take you back to the top instead of showing you where you left off. This is my first and last month paying for this horrible app.

rip off. you pay $30 a month and only get movies that nobody watches and only one episode from any show on the app. and have to pay $40 a month to watch anything else while bundling what I already have. absolutely ridiculous. edit: these auto ai replies from the app are wrong I have a screen shot of the prices, its $29 for the essential plan and $38 for the bundle not worth the money

I pay $30 a month & still have to watch the EXACT SAME ads for 2:30 minutes every 3 minutes. It might be different if it was different ads, but it's the same ones, back to back EVERY 3 minutes. Definitely canceling, I just subscribed a few weeks ago, but I can't take it. Especially when I can pay 1/4 of this to sub to a different streaming app & never watch ads. By far the worst streaming app out there. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I love Philo. I've used it for years. Now I'm getting notifications. Use your subscription in 3 days or it will be cancelled. I never stopped using it. It was cancelled. I had to subscribe again. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling. Its stupid to subscibe every few days.

Absolutely Love Philo TV. $33/month for all the TV channels I care about, plus other On Demand shows. The $33 plan also comes with a few other streaming platforms.

Crashes and freezes constantly. You have to upgrade to watch anything remotely interesting. The live channels are decent. If they work. Also, to add to this since I just posted it, you can find the same and better stuff on Tubi. FOR FREE. Update- I'm not wasting my time reaching out to support. It took me 2 days to figure out how to cancel. You make it nearly impossible. It's not going to get better.

The amount of money you pay for,it doesn't have any full episodes on any of the movies or TV shows you're looking for. I'm looking for the new episode of All the Queens Men but there's only still on 4 and not 5. So they're robbing people.

here we go again. another stupid update. recorded "saved" shows have multiple folders now. after clicking on Saved I now have to scroll down and find the row called recently saved. if you're going to have multiple rows why can't you put my saved shows at the top row. used to be one click to get to saved. now you have to click on Saved, scroll down three Rows to recently saved, scroll left, click enter. or you can scroll right 10, 20, 30, times until you find your saved show and click then enter.

On my Google TV, I am constantly having to force stop the app just to change to another channel/station. It keeps giving errors. Very annoying they can't get an app to continue working.

Used to love it but as of recent app updates, it won't stay open, closes randomly while watching. Never had issues with it before but I see this is trending for all users as well. If they fix it. I might keep it. update: they now partner with HBO which requires an upgrade for on demand which was not a thing before. I have hbo app separately. looks like I can get rid of philo now. thanks for the last straw.

I really like this app, but many times it spends time buffering and I'm waiting to finish watching a program. I'm not sure what causes this but I didn't have this happen with other apps.

Originally I would have gave the app 5 stars, the service in general is a great asset, but the new updates that they added are always more difficult than the last. My grandmother used to be able to navigate this app very easily, now I can't even help her figure out how to get to certain saved show options because they keep updating the layout of the application. I really wish that they had a suggestion box because the original layout of the application was perfect, now it's just super confusing!

I had my card locked and no money in my account somehow 5 hours after I locked my card the still took $26 out my account and they wont refund me. I was trying the free trial and couldn't figure out how to cancel the subscription. But its canceled now, stupid how you have to go to the website, and $26 with ads is outrageous.

no it don't work

Now when clicking on a show to watch it just refreshes & goes back to the main screen without playing. I have to force close it and start over. After forced closing, it will play one show. Then it does the main screen refresh and won't play another show. So I have to force close it again. Every time you update the app, new bugs are introduced. I have more problems with this app than any other on my Google TV streamer. Used to be my favorite streaming service but it's getting frustrating to use.

App sucks. Lags hella bad and is constantly booting me off on all of my devices. From my $4,000 TV to my $300 tv, phone and tablet. You're better off getting Sling or YouTube TV.

Thanks for the 10 seconds skip, that helps and the sliding timeline with images that you can scroll makes easier the process of skipping the ads. Even this service is expensive compared to the very popular one...N, no promo for that one, this service I like it because the content keeps refreshing, almost 300 channels showing new content here and there makes the view fresh, always there is something to view that grabs my attention.The unlimited DVR is great, the app works correctly,looks G on TV.

I've had Philo for a few years now it's the only app I can watch my shows as soon as they come on TV. The price definitely did go up but they finally have the feature I've been waiting for I can finally skip the ads now it's perfect

I LOVE Philo. You get access to so many different channels and programs. Iwas able to get rid of other paid subscriptions because I get them on Philo. One of my favorite features is that I can record movies and shows, some of them ahead of time.

I absolutely loved the selection of shows & how well the app worked on my TV... BUT... when we hit a financially difficult time, I had to unsubscribe. They continued to charge me for 2 months because it wasn't canceled in the right place?? It was an "Amazon Digital Service" on my credit card. I canceled the subscription on my Amazon account and then on my TV... but just got charged again because I had to go through the play store to "actually cancel" they said. Almost $80 when we are struggling.

The app freezes to much.

Why does this app not play most of the time? I click on something to watch. It spins a while, then gives an error code. Please don't try to blame it on my cell service because I have the best, and it works fine on other streaming apps!

The app works great, but I do wish it had a fast forward and rewind. Such a pain to get past commercials. You make me happy and add it to the app version and then you remove again. Please add the fast forwarding and rewinding to the screen.

I have had my Philo subscription for about a year now, and I absolutely love it. I always watch it, more than I watch Hulu! The price is great, it has all my favorite channels. You can't go with any other app or subscription for$20 a month! So happy I cut the cord for cable. Well deserved 5 Stars 🤩 Edit: After having PHILO for several years, I just canceled my subscription! They suddenly raised the price I was Grandfathered in at. Said I canceled and signed back up,I did not ever cancel, ever!!

I have starlink internet and hardly any trees by my house. Your app always crashes when watching it. All my other apps Amazon, Peacock, and other hardly ever crashes. If u would allow us to stream your app through Xbox. I have no problem paying $33 month if ur app would stop crashing. Ab to cancel my subscription

honestly, they have a lot of good TV shows.But it sucks having to wait until like 11:30 to watch one episode you like.I wanted to watch The Big Bang Theory because I seen young Sheldon and I can't because I have to wait till 5:00 to start on episode 1.they need to fix that. So before you buy this just remember you have to wait till specific times like it was the '80.

I paid my monthly fee and right in the middle of watching a show it said my subscription was canceled and stopped letting me watch.
