best offline map to navigate if you don't have data

super 😍

So far excellent! we should support and promote open source apps that don't want to know your blood type! Definitely deleting gmaps. Keep up the good work.

one of the best app i download, ui is straight forward, simple and no ads!!. definely will donate after i got the money from the boss

my local store doesnt exist? bad first impression

برنامج دقيق وهو الافضل بين كل البرامج حاليا.خصوصا في الاوف لاين.

The Best thing is - it is ad free and simple also very accurate. I really like this app and use it frequently.

very nice

What an outstanding app!! Thank you to the devs for developing this.

no ads offline great

Great interface - well done to the developers

This app is good for your privacy trips or adventure

excellent free apps No heavy ads. fully recomends

Best app for independent trekkers. no issues whatsoever. Easy to use

it's great app

Few details are outdated. Doesn't show traffic. But ok for foreign user to navigate in China. Major Street details were correct.

tried it for privacy sector unfortunately it just doest get me from A to B

good super gopd especially on long riding on bikes and good navigation and can even be used offline! So much better than google maps or any other maps.

nothing to see only" Oops NO RESULT when you search the place you want to go 4.9 reviews? didn't help at all

good 👍 👍

Perfecto design! But there is nothing to show the details after I clicked the suggested point to point transportation suggestions of Hong Kong map. Also, card description occupied half of screen, please adjust it in the next version, Thanks in advance.

super thank you

بجد ابلكيشن جامد وفكرته جامده وساعدني كتير

Marvelous app

I need to test it more but it seems somewhat slow to initiate the routing. Also when you find a place it'd be nice to just have "get directions" instead of selecting "route to" or "route from". Search seems a extremely picky and can't find entire shopping centers that are 10+ years old, let alone any of the roads going through them. It's privacy focused- which is great. But it's functionality is leaving much to be desired.

fantastic

This offline map is crazy. The location is accurate and detailed. Voice instruction is available (Google TTS)

Downloaded just now looking great, I hope to use it frequently and replace gmaps.

wonderful

very nice

very good app

veri goooooood

Wonderful

very good creater. it's a nice app for every one

satisfied

Nice navigation app but it will be much better if you guys add motorcycle mode.

I like it. This is very useful app for routing map when their is no internet.👌🏼

Ideal in theory but didn't find address so not true navigation. Seems more of a substitute for G Maps. No developer response.

best offline maps

can't open an address outside of the app on my phone

confusing and hard to use. don't even know some other place. I can't rely on this app.

very idealistic.. I'll never gonna be lost anymore. thanks for the creator of this app you are a life saver..

As an avid 4WD traveller this app is a must. It has 4WD tracks and roads that many other costly applications do not have. It works excellently in outback Australia and the more that people use it and contribute the safer it will be for everyone else.

No se pueden buscar direcciones completas.

Fantastic eco-friendly app!

"South Ossetia" and "Abkhazia" are part of Georgia, temporary occupied by Russian Federation. You are supporter of occupants!. Disputed territory? 🤣 No one disputs it, except Russia and russia's puppets

I would say the app is worth 5 rate as quick, quite user friendly, saving battery. But.. please add Ukrainian language to UI

I don't have much to say but it is incredible

excellent app!!! free and allows you to use other apps (google maps for example) for completness, simply awesome!

Amazing for a free product.

Beats fugging Google maps...stop giving your info to the oligarchs

very useful apps

I can't understand this

great app and is to use

Really pleased with this app. After finding it almost impossible to load a GPX file into Google Maps, I needed something simpler that worked. And so far Organic Maps is ticking all the boxes. 5 stars, easily.

Installed and set about an initial test of going from my house to nearby Tesco on foot. Rather than guide me along footpaths, it set a course requiring climbing over a 6ft fence and going through undergrowth to walk along a dual carriageway.

The new version of the maps.me which i understood is with subscription now...or is not open source anymore. I could import all my bookmarks from old maps.me. For hiking trails i can find and use gps trails, you just need battery, very good app.

this app awesome!

simple, free, powerful for pedestrians

thanks for this awesome offline map without money. Thanks admin.

Nice app. work offline, no adds👍 thanks ❤️🙏

The most effective application for maintaining tracking records. One request: the incorporation of satellite imagery will enhance visibility significantly.

👍

perfect app

the app is perfect when you don't have signal,

an easy and simple

Somewhat better than Google maps, which didn't seem to like me walking as much as I do. One thing that is still not clear to these old eyes is if I am facing 180⁰ in the wrong direction. Ideally have the arrow point downwards and display differently, flash/different colour/significantly thicker lines …

The best map app I have ever used

its missing businesses in populated areas

I just switched today. I also got rid of Google maps.

no satellite overlay? searching needs work. it shows unrelated matches and also the correct match isn't as specific as Google maps making searching time consuming bec one has to go thru the selection until you find the "re ght" one. eg. 1 marine road in gmaos gives me the exact explanation of where it's located...three anchor bay, so I know immediately that's the one I want. OM however, just says residential road with zero indication as the where...not a competitor until fixed

google map is better your app not good

If you are looking for an offline map with all the shops, paths and roads marked on it, this should be your go to.

maps needed update

beste wo gibt

no spying

Very good App. I like what I see; very nice even better than Google Earth. keep up the good work, it is so good no Ads of any sort. I love this App.

nice app

pretty good Sat Nav. A choice of voice would be good but otherwise perfectly good for a free app.

no me gusta, nada intuitiva la app, no se cómo puedo hacer que me dé una ruta de un punto a otro o es que su muy básica app no hace eso ?

trouble getting it working offline. learning the app is challenging but overall happy it exists and the base version is free.

open source! no ads! better than any other map app and I use it all the time! thank you

i would like to opt out the bubble 💭 quote 22min and 2 suggested route makes the map messy

A much better alternative to g-maps. this is a keeper.

first impressions, really good. I use it to monitor my walks. it keeps a really good track and do far has never failed to locate and track my walks unlike Google maps. I haven't tried it to give me directions yet. if that works then I would probably go five stars.

Great navigation app. Not too much detail but more than enough to be able to navigate.

wow why is it so hard to pull up and address and navigate to it!! pos!

use comaps

jitu sanchita

best maps service

The best offline maps in the whole planet, because of the people who love to have an offline map with the latest updates every time.

Really handy offline mapping app. Very pleased to have found, d/led and installed. Thx🙏🤘🍻💯

wawww😮😮😮very niceee

Excellent little maps app which had even new estates I've seen missing from the car sat Nav. This isn't even online when using it though so no tracking. Keep up the good work.

Being an active OpenStreetMap contributor made me be able to jump ship from other map routers to be able to use a mapping platform that I can use to reliably navigate around my local area, great work. No ads, runs so smoothly, I love being able to import GPX files and such and add them as bookmarks for future trips, this app is amazing.

Brilliant app, just what I wanted esp. to measure distances.(To replace Herewego since they required location.)I like the privacy &that its open source. Update2026:Not keen on new layout, tho new features very useful eg alternative routes. How to minimise route menu after showing route you want, without deleting it?(eg so as to maximise screen to get screenshot to save for use later)-Minimizing menu wont work then?-Help please! Otherwise excellent, very useful & any previous bugs now fixed.💚

Not convenient as Google Maps, for privacy one may disable sharing, location search and history, etc..

ideal

For some reason whenever I use a saved track and 'route to' it, it picks a point halfway along the actual route to route towards. Always exactly half! Why? Editing the track does nothing. What a bizarre design. The UI is very good. The app doesn't offer lane suggestions which is bad for roundabouts in the UK. The American voice is grating. Feet on approach begins too soon. Not a viable alternative to Waze, sadly - maybe in a few years.

unbelievable 😍 the best offline map ever and beat of all it's free

awesome

Absolutely sensational app. It just works brilliantly well when you're offline but have the maps downloaded to your phone. Well done Organic Maps team and thank you!

I HATE THIS I ALMOST BECAME A STRAY KID ON ME 500 METER RUN I KEPT CRYING SOMEONE HELPED ME EVERYONE ELSE IGNORED ME DONT USE THIS IT WONT HELP YOU FROM GETTING LOST edit for developer: i went to the rynek alone in brzeg but i dont have a sim so i saw organic maos and thought its a good idea BAD IDEA IT KEPT STOPPING DEAD AND NOT SHOWING ME ANYTHING LUCKILY AN GRANDMA HELPED ME CUZ I WENT WAY TOO FAR WHEN LOOKING BACK FOR THE PARK TO GO HOME YES I DOWNLOADED AT HOME THE GPS AND A GRANDMA HELPED

The fact that something like this exists is enough to give it 5 stars. It computes directions locally, which makes it better than Google Maps for long trips with spotty service.

works well but for Android auto, at least, a setting to fix the initial zoom level (when just using the map without navigation) is needed, or to remember the last setting.

can't use it, it has no controls just a map you can move around

The app does okay for what I need usually. Today I was recording a track during a bike ride. I hit 'stop' from the notification bubble after noticing the option and the record vaporized. I can't find it, so now I know I need to avoid that quirk.

The GOAT of all maps that I've download and also it works on offline 👌🏿✌️

👌

Everything is good but need some detail.

excellent

Needs to be updated more. I try to use it so I dont have to use GoogleMaps, but it doesnt have business names listed/searchable and have been sent to the wrong place more than once. It also will not just PULL UP the exact address I put in unless its registered it, which it often isn't. My GPS is supposed to help me *not* get lost, but it has done the opposite at times. I keep it around, but it is not a replacement as much as I wish it was. Has potential, but needs way more work.

Great for walking, not so good for driving.

its a hit or miss hard to use

Contours are hard to see unless you magnify it. The colours are not that obvious. If the contours are selected, can you also emphasize the visibility of it?

very bad 😞😞

I wasn't sure of this app at first, didn't know if it was going to be a solid choice or not, but I downloaded the UK Lake district region when I did the Cumbria way, and this app was excellent. sips battery, no nonsense or rubbish. it was also very accurate and contained other info i like to know as a hiker. v pleased. thanks guys. this app is a keeper for me.

VERY USEFUL!!! 👍

very helpfull app

Very user-friendly

👍🙂

keeps deleting the downloaded maps after some time. what's the point?

Brilliant app. Ability to use Android Auto and offline navigation are great features. But there's more. Road names and POIs are often displayed as well, unlike Google maps. It's also available for Huawei environment! Hope speed limit warning will be coming. But even without, it's simply brilliant!

Great design. I like the overlay of building footprints!

Not Google and works well, thank you for making this!

j'adore!!! Merci!

doesn't recognise any post code, offers alternative addresses like you've input an incorrect address. it's a shambles

wouldn't work for me. Redmi 14, updated android. uninstalled. still looking for a google maps replacement

basic functions are invisible. saved maps go where? deleted.

UNDERRATED !!!!! the best app for maps it really helped me for finding the unknown places offline

gps location not working, with other apps no problem. only in version from google store. reccommend using f-droid

Great

i wasn't able to find the meaning of symbols and track colors. If i don't know what a track is, the app is of no use for me...

Just installed and I'm shocked. It's all dark amd black - I can't see anything. Also tryed satellite view - didn't see an option. It's the worst map I ever used.

I like the app and the simplicity

it's absolutely brilliant, fast, well though, it became my daily driver

Insanely good value for free. The only downside I've found is that searching addresses or POI isn't as good as other map apps. 🤷 For free, no ads, and privacy can't complain too much.

good

التطبيق جامد جدا و ينفعك في أي وقت لو مش معاك نت و كمان لو انت سواق ينفعك جدا و هيوفر بطريتك و الباقه بتاعت الموبايل و فيه كل الشوارع و الكباري الجديده

I cannot confirm nor deny whether I like this or not

need route to see the other functions, that's just bad.

Exactly what it claims to be

Better than Google Maps

i think this Map better than google map...👌👌❤️

good job ours very nice map

so far I love it

started using this after Maps.me started to fail when adding .kmz files. This app is even better, big fan of the different map layer options.

best google maps alternative

best

Not for me, doesn't show the street pictures.

great shttt

This app helped me alot💗

Atrocious navigation, a far cry from GMaps . When taking a "wrong" turn, it doesn't just switch to an alternative route, but gets stuck in "re-routing" loop and can't catch up. It constantly pops up download map window that can't be closed, just takes over the map view. It maybe ok for offline use with pre-downloaded maps, but limited to 10 maps making the incessant download prompts even more idiotic- you'll run out of maps (that don't need to be downloaded when there's a live data connection).

don't use for driving directions, but amazing for hiking

trying

Just needed motorcycle profile, thanks.

Good update frequency. Openstreetmaps beats Google Maps for walking in cities and especially hiking. No ads and everything works smoothly.

Suggestion: 1. add support for roof types and shapes. 2. terrain cross-section graph for hiking and bike routes similar to graphopper website

Great app, simple, offline, read gpx files. intuitive and fun to hike with!

Nice simple interface for Open Street Maps!

very nice

Must have for your Iran trip.

cool

the best free app out there

Brilliant off line mapping, works great through Android auto, well designed interface, no ads, calculates multiple routes fast.

Also, the best free app ever !!!!

Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh is an integral part of India wrongly mentioned in the map with so-called China and tiny Pakistan

App is pretty easy to use. If a place is missing, it's easily added yourself since they use OpenStreetMaps. My only real complaint is that navigation using Android Auto seems laggy. The arrow inches along like an inch at a time, it's not smooth. So if you're not paying attention you can miss a turn because you look further away than you really are by the time you reach it. It also doesn't allow you to choose alternate routes, and if you turn it takes quite awhile to reroute itself

fantastic maps with no tracking!

best work and lovely motivation . Everyone must support this app

very bad design but great navigation. please make it a good design like the unsafe but adorable maps.me

I Don't used the app, but is a good cause

excellent for tracking my bike rides

Best app for finding routes

I was looking for an alternative to Google maps and found this, but found that when doing any casual exploring you have to download the region data for the area you are looking at to see anything. These downloads would quickly fill up the device's storage. I can absolutely see it's value for hiking and exploring but it doesn't really meet my current needs, so I'll be uninstalling for now, but I may come back to it if I need this kind of mapping when on holiday

Best map, better than the TRACKING GOOGLE MAP

Fantastic detail and information. Wish I'd discovered it before now.

Very good software and I recommend it for everyone! Thank you very much!! I will support your hard work.

I couldn't edit, so making new review. Travelling to visit family in Dessau it was given full address including postal code and it found the wrong street! Then that it lacks traffic information... Nice idea but without traffic and the ability to find an address... No thanks. I'll have to stick to Waze for now.

خاوتنا اللي ضاربين طريق اليونان ❤️❤️❤️

I try make one route but is impossible. not working very complicated.

this map shows you that there are train stations but it can't show you where the trains go? That makes it a completely useless navigation tool. And it only shows bus routes from train stations. That's beyond useless. Google always wins because there are no alternatives worth wasting time trying to figure out

Really useful, doesn't need a lot of data to function in navigation.

Wow! The holly graal of maps! What level of details 👌👏👏👏

It's good for pin your place in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan. (Travel Case ^^)

easy to download trail maps for bdr. I kinda like voice too. can hear it when it get loud. only down I see is it doesnt give alt. route or work with you when you go a different route. Just keeps telling you to turn around. oh no keep to down load maps. why black or blue or red or green roads. need motorcycle button for gravel road with I want to go one.

unusable - constant popups with nagging to 'download map' and in addition to that the thing just crashes seconds after launch

I think there is no Hyogo prefecture. It's not Osaka-west I think.

fake map

I am trying to download this onto my laptop and it won't do it

Best map app for sure

use less

how do you get real time traffic updates

Loved the App ! I would suggest the developers to make the zoom in and out animation more smooth! and many Places needs to be added ! Still this one is outstanding

very good

this is absolutely awesome! so cool! im so greatful to the people who made this app! highly recommend

Excellent concept and features! Even though the editing possibilities are far greater on PC, you can still make meaningful improvements through the phone app. And yes, the data on businesses and places is often worse compared to Google maps, but that encourages You even more to become a part of this awesome project and contribute a worthy amount!

just what we want.

but map of India wrong please fix it
