This is my absolute favorite app . I love all of the stations and there's so many of them it's incredible . If one station isn't playing songs then I just change it to a different one . It's so easy to use and I love the way it's set up . Thanks

Don't bother buying the yearly subscription to get rid of ads. I bought it especially for an Android based headunit to run this tuner via starlink and always have a nice radio station running. After upgrading the headunits software I can't get mytuner ad free anymore. Waisted more than 3 hours now using their restore function on the right google play user account. On top of that the app often just stops playing or completely shuts down. Headunit 6G/128Gb Android 13 is not short of memory.

Favorites keep disappearing!! Can't reorder or organize favorites. Hard to even get to the favorites. At times, stations won't change & I have to restart. Poor interface. No customization. Genres are terribly disorganized. About 1/3 of channels don't work. Don't even try the free version, ads are way too often & intrusive! Only use PlayPass version, don't pay for this garbage! Could overlook it all if it would keep my favorites & I could easily access them. Looking for something better.

I considered this the best fm tuner app but since last year it hasn't worked. I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times but not working anymore. the app seems to load but hangs as if a computer going into a boot loop

Back on December 10th 2022 I had purchased the the lifetime version for no banner adds for $6.35 now all of a sudden it's gone. I have had the same email address for years and nothing has changed so why is my ad free status is gone. Apparently the owner of this app doesn't care. Be careful what you purchase from this particular app there are hundreds of other radio apps out there that value their long-term customers. Buyers beware of Appgeneration apps.

I welcome the updates made by the developers. The app is now working as it should. I still believe this is the best app of its kind and always appreciate the timely responses by the developers. Keep up the good work.

I prefer this app over iHeartRadio because it has more content & local radio stations plus a better alternative & mix stations to listen to. It's worth the scription for the amount of content included. Works really well with Car Play & Android Car play too.

Just jz 94.5 won't play in any of the radio apps. I have a screenshot of the error message. this is the second app ive downloaded and is saying the same thing for that 1 station.

Great selection of stations, VPN is a must in UK unfortunately, as with any other world radio app because of big money precedent court ruling against TuneIn...

this app takes entirely too long to load and it has too much going on. I don't want a 30 second trial run of each song, I don't need 30,000 stations to choose from. I know what I like, I don't want to wade through 30,000 stations to find it. I don't mind commercials but I don't want them popping up while I am clicking or scrolling through my options or reading instructions on how to setup my favorite whatevers. Right now as I am texting this I am also listening to the Consumer Cellular radio.

Quick question, you say you use advertising to keep your app free. how do you make revenue when nobody uses your app? your ads are annoying, used ths app for years, just gonna stream straight from the source.

This is a useful app for my free option because I have no money. Beautiful Global songs can't hide to me this time. Thank you very much for your generosity especially for people like me who cannot afford monthly bills.

amazing app .! congratulations, please install on feature. it will be amazing if we can black the screen when we listen the music. I use to hear music from my TV but I don't want to see the hall menu when I listen my favorite music. Just to be able to toggle one button and hole screen to be black just for relax. thank in advance if you do it!

Please fix "recently played" songs bug It is not updated in real-time and the only fix is for me to completely closing the app and restart again Other than that it's a great app 📻

I use this app a lot. It has such great variety. I rather like it more than Tune-In. Wed. 09.18.2024: It shuts down on its own a lot. A lot. Thu.04.30.2026.: myTuner is functioning better. Fri.05.01.2026.: I spoke too soon. myTuner still stops and closes on its own. Also too many ads. Way too many. Tue.07.14.2026: Still shuts down and closes on its own; also, the ads are annoying and obtrusive.

Shuts down randomly. Live radio takes a long time to load. Sometimes, the ad takes over the app. At least the radio plays after 30 seconds or so, no two minutes of ads first.

I've only gotten to open this app once and listen to my favorite station and ever since it just loads forever never letting me back in. Please fix!

beautiful selection of modern and vintage, hard to find and common radios and music. Absolutely love the range of different 1930s era radios and the quality of all, beautifully done. Ads are few and far between and do not interrupt the radio most times, and it is easy to listen while scrolling another app or with your phone off. This is my favorite radio app, and I hope I will be able to listen for many more years to come

I had this app for years and purchased the option without ads for a lifetime. All of a sudden I am seeing ads when I use the app and it is asking to purchase the option without ads for $20 a year. If I have to purchase an annual subscription there are way better apps. This is insane and I think the developers will lose a lot of customers because of that.

update; this app was great until recently and the advertising became overwhelming. i wouldn't recommend this to anyone who doesn't want full screen lockout ads taking over the sound and screen for upto 2min. unbelievable. uninstall and so annoyed I won't care if you respond again with automatic platitudes.

It is rare to experience an app so overloaded with inescapable ads. Makes the listening experience a true torture.

80% of the podcasts it recommends are for Spanish speakers and I see no option to filter by language. Terrible for podcasts that you can't filter by language

This app is incredibly frustrating. It interrupts the radio every couple of minutes just to force you to watch an ad before it continues playing. In just 10 minutes, I had to sit through four ads. That's completely unacceptable for a radio app. I'm uninstalling it. There are much better apps that let you listen for hours without constantly interrupting the music.

"This station is not available in your area". For EVERY SINGLE STATION. This was the message I got no matter what station I clicked, and country made no difference. Clearly, a VPN is needed in order to access anything, and of course the UK has made that impossible, therefore this app is a waste of time. Hopefully this answers you more fully.

the ads are not audible. yay. however ads are plentiful on the screen. it's tricky to x them out. The good thing the radio still plays. Also I have to close app when a call comes in because it's bleeds into phone call. If your not switching stations alot then u don't have to concern yourself with ads. Just don't look at them. There is a glitch getting a station from Las Vegas. It's 107.5 An error message appears. I'm thinking that station isn't streaming. Still not a bad app.

infuriating app, constant freezing can't figure itself out, constantly refresh itself & just wait & wait & wait loses your FAVORITE channels regularly acts completely different on my 2 phones, constant bugs, have to figure out different ways to get it to function on each phone still better than the complete trash on the Internet/apps in 2026

can fix the glitch on andriod player? now the screen where the radio station name and songs played are today not working. I hope your tech team can resolve this issue. this is my favourite apps for my daily commute. keep up the good work.

1) I want to first say that I love this app on my TV (except for not being able to change the order of favorite stations unless I delete all and re-choose in the order I want displayed). However, 2) I hate this app on my phone as it is unusable. I will immediately uninstall it. I understand if I want to use the free version I will get ads. But it keeps replaying the same ad on a continuous loop and I haven't been able to listen to anything. :(

I don't mind ads, but when they are those dodgy "your phone space is full" ads that lock up the app and require me to completely exit the app or even reboot the phone, then it's too intrusive. TuneIn is looking better to me. edit - one example, a full screen ad popup for installing KJV bible that, no matter whether you click on it or not, stays full screen. I have to kill the Mytuner app and restart it to use the app.

I purchased this app thinking the "car mode" would be for Android Auto. I was wrong. So what's the point? I was thinking my favorites would sync between devices once I logged in. Again, I was wrong. You are forced to load your favorites manually on every install. I thought the Android TV version would be able to login to my account. Wrong again. The web app? Ads all over the place even though I paid for an upgraded account. This app is fragmented and not uniform anywhere. It's a mess.

This app is awesome! I prefer it over iheart. In my opinion, it's better than tune-in and others. This app has all of the stations on the home page, and you don't have to go through a lot to find a station. Everything is clear, and there is no lag. Also, a plus you can set Alarms on their app to wale up to music of whatever staion you choose.

Favorite stations that I've "starred" don't stay starred and then disappear. It's as if they don't save very well. When I look at the last 6 months comments, developers say they are aware of this and they are working on it. I'm afraid if this continues, then my positive star rating will disappear as well. Is this fix a low or high priority? Update: I just did a search of comments, and found this problem experienced by multiple users as far back as 2 years ago! Update 6/25. Still forgets stations

Excellent software! Can find radio stations by call letters, city, genre, and more! This also includes podcasts and many streaming only stations. Even the free version is excellent. Two visual ads pop up but none of that 5-15 minutes of audible advertisements like used by many similar apps! This app is, in my opinion, best of class. To register it I paid US$19.00 (at the time of this review), which gets rid of said ads and unlocks an equalizer that you may or may not find useful.

Great for listening to my favorite local radio station at work. There are so many stations to pick from, it's fun to hear what other city's stations around the country are playing. I had an issue with my fave local station, it stopped playing sound for me. I emailed them & they quickly put in a fix that worked. Give it a try !

Your app has great potential as a radio platform, performing well on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra by displaying the station logo, current song information, and album art. However, it struggles with functionality on Android Auto, where it inconsistently shows album art and song titles but often defaults to displaying only the station name. Additionally, the app is completely non-functional on my iPad Mini, indicating that there are significant compatibility issues that need addressing. 😳

We've recently moved to a more rural area in southern Oregon, where "radio" is not an option, but "MY TUNER RADIO APP" has completely fixed this problem. Regardless of where I go, I can take my favorite station with me! As long as I have my phone, I have my music! Add a personal Bose speaker, and your bluetooth will have you ready for anything!!! 🤩 Great app - Easy to navigate and sync up - Pause your favorite song, and JAM!!! Highly recommend! 🎼🎧🎵📻🎶

Just started using "my tuner Radio App." and I am impressed. An abundance of staions within each genre, too many to count, and that's just North American stations never mind the hundreds of stations around the world I have access to. Also, the sound quality is exemplary. I love the fact that I can listen at home and anywhere else I want. Sounds fantastic through my car sound system. I'm sure I'll be giving the app a perfect 5 after learning more about the app.

I'm having trouble loading podcasts onto this app. For example, I want to listen to the "Volleyball State" podcast, and it pops up when I search for it, so I Favorited it, but when I click on it in my Podcasts list, the app hangs or crashes. I can't pull up any episodes of the podcast or get it to play any content at all. Going through the myTuner web page online there's no problems and it plays the podcast just fine, but I can't get the app to do it.

myTuner Radio free v update: forces ads on you FAR TOO FREQUENTLY. and it's very obvious those ads use a LOT of memory & cpu resources! Plus of course, you then have to listen to the ads that are built into the station's you're listening to. It has some of the radio stations I was looking for but is missing quite a few others. Also, it will NOT run without starting the Chrome browser for some crazy reason! And if you force close the Chrome browser the myTuner radio app stops working!?!

I'm so sorry I updated this app! I lost all of my favorite stations (history) and the one I listen to the most no longer loads, instead I now only get an error message. All they've done is pile on the advertising. This has been a daily go to for years, but not any more. It is totally useless and I will very sadly deleted it. It's "Radio Box" from now on for me.

Works great. Music and talk radio from all over. In the US and around the world. Always clear stations. I have trashed some apps made by the radio stations because this app plays the radio stations better than the radio stations apps. If you love music like me you must download now you will not regret your choice. And it is free with ads on the app. Not ads that stop the music they are on top of the app as you use it, or you can pay a fee to remove the apps. I use the free one and no problems.

I use the paid version of myTuner Radio (no ads) to listen to my favorite radio station in the car. The app works well and I was able to add my radio station to Favorites to be able to tune into it easily. Unfortunately, every morning when I start my car and AndroidAuto connects to my car, myTuner Radio shows me a list called "For you", with stations I am not interested in. There is no option to automatically restart the station I had listened to the previous day. Consider DoubleTwist instead.

One of the glitchest apps ever. I paid for it in app and it has never worked right even after paying, which by the way they refused to refund even after less than 48hours of purchase. All the favorites I've favorited have randomly unliked itself, even when I have an account attached to the app. Searching is glitchy, car mode is glitchy, stations are glitchy. The list goes on. I'm only using it because I've paid for it, but honestly it is one of the most annoying apps out there.

The dev added Google Play pass but the app still doesn't cast properly. Simply the annoying pop-up ads alone warrants this 1 star I looked through the app I see no FM option. Edit: you don't seem to know the difference between "ads" and "too many ads" and there are many apps that don't have ads and you have to compete with those so maybe a little less ads and excuses.

Disappointing 😞 Seems like an excellent concept, but, so far, has almost no functionality. A few stations I selected at random played, but none of the numerous local stations I attempted to listen to did. No error message, or other indication of an issue, simply appeared to be loading and then stopped. Could be a great app if it is repaired.

Giving credit where credit is due: they apparently fixed the bugs from the last update glitch... the favorites tab returned along with all my selected stations & podcasts. Podcasts are working again. A convenient app that combines both broadcast & streaming radio with a good selection of podcasts. My major complaint is with the aggressive ads but I wouldn't spend money on a platform that glitches this bad everytime there's an update. I guess that's the trade off. But those ads! Really?!?!?

Overall pretty happy. Started using this app when Tunein took a flying leap off a canyon with their fee changes and killed the free version. Ads here are tasteful and not obtrusive like others. Makes me more apt to look at them. Only thing I'd change is how the favorites list is laid out, the ability to change positions, and make the list visually pop out better with a better coloring or shadowing stand-out effect. But thank you for all that you do that is good

Best radio stations I've been turned on to. Minimal commercial interruption. Excellent diverse range of musical entertainment that is described as adult alternative which for myself is exactly what I appreciate. I'm a new listener and enjoy the aspect that I haven't heard repetition in the choice of music the different stations present. Which is refreshing as opposed to most other apps. For that I say thanks and happy with it.

I generally like the app. I haven't found anything it does that its competitors can't do. What is extremely annoying, though, is that its icon stays in the notification area. Long-pressing and selecting Hide doesn't make it go away, and I haven't found any option in Settings that makes it go away. After a Forced-stop it comes back. After a restart it comes back.. Contacted Support and was told they would take it into consideration. I don't need or want that annoyance, so I uninstalled it.

I've been using this app for years for free across iOS and Android to listen to international radio stations and I live it. Even the free version is easy to use and allows cloud syncing across devices. I use it a lot but I also only listen to a handful of strains regularly so if there are radiophiles out there readin, I'm not a good reviewer for you, but yeah. I'm probably going to pay for it soon if I can just to support the app.

Works well but has 2 big issues which should be improved. 1. The app will not work on Android auto/Car play unless you open the app first on your phone. I can understand this for the free version so that an add can be played, but this should not be the case for the paid version which I have. 2. The app will just stop working when the internet connection to your device is interrupted even momentarily and it will not automatically reconnect. You have to manually start the stream again.

I really like this app but sometimes the icons overlay themselves and it's not functional. I've had to delete and reinstall a few times. Also it loses my favorites so better screen shot them so you can add them back. Lately the problem seems less. The ads are extremely annoying and didn't use to be full page. Hard to figure out how to x them out. Get smaller ads that don't block the screen. People drive and use this app.

Used to be five stars. Now, it demands to run in the background unless I do a force stop. If I connect to a Bluetooth device, it starts in the background. If I disconnect from a Bluetooth device, it starts in the background. If I restart my phone, it starts in the background. It's like the zombie TSR that refuses to die once and for all. Two stars because the station selection is second to none, but it's uninstalled until this issue is fixed.

The app sometime crashes. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app a few times. Some stations on the app does not work on wifi, you would have to use data. Outside the app problems, the app is pretty good. Update: the app still has the same problems. Now the ads interfere with the radio stations actually playing. The ads keep opening my play store and makes it had to listen to the stations that I chose. So I down grade to two stars instead of three stars.

I like to use an app for a bit before I comment, and I can say my experience with this app has been great. The ads do not disrupt the audio. Also, if my Bluetooth earphone is disconnected the audio automatically switches to the speaker, rather than stopping the app. Further, it offers alarms and other features.

Like the variety of stations on the mobile app, but the UI looks very unpolished. Was switching from TuneIn because TuneIn doesn't have a watch app available, so I had high hopes for myTuner, but was very disappointed I couldn't log into my account to sync my favorite stations. I'm also disappointed that there is no search functionally on there, which means I have no way of listening to my stations on the watch app.

It's impossible to rate this app without comparing it against TuneIn. I like this app mainly because the ads are way less intrusive than TuneIn (that has the bad habit of throwing in ads right in the middle of any song). Another thing I like about myTuner is that the radio stations load way faster than TuneIn. One thing against is the fact that myTuner does not have a buffer that allows you to pause or go back a few seconds or minutes of the audio you've been listening to for a while.

Best radio and podcast app in my opinion, got fed up with iheart ad overload when you wanted to change stations and looked for something else. So glad I found myTuner, it has everything I was looking for and more, can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommended if you're looking for a great radio and podcast player app.

Once my favourite radio app, sadly it's not any longer. The reason for this is because it won't let me listen to stations around the world, especially from Ireland where I love to catch up on life over there through radio. Besides that, and a few connectivity issues, it was genuinely a good app, and I used it a lot, but now will have to try elsewhere, sadly. If you're happy to use the UK only, then it's good, but I like to hop around various stations, a lot.

5 stars until a couple weeks ago. Now it's 2 stars. The app was once amazing. There has always been ads placed in the app which I was cool with, it's free. Unfortunately the ads have become invasive. Just experienced a full screen add that I could not get out of without closing the app (which led me to this 2 star review). I'll give it 1 more week. If these invasive ads aren't fixed, I'm uninstalling and will find another app elsewhere.

pretty good. better than tunein. saving podcasts in a certain order doesnt work and you cant clear the podcasts in the recent tab. you cannot pick up listening to a podcast where you left off which is annoying. the pay version is worth the money, the layout is good, the selection is good, and the sleep timer is customizable. it would be nice if the 3 problems i listed above were fixed. that would result in 5 stars.

Tried several radio apps before this one. The one just never worked right, it would stop working if the screen was off, or at other random times. Another app worked better, but had too many ads and very annoying graphics when it first was opened. I like this one so far. A little tricky to navigate- but I haven't had it long enough to get used to it.

Best radio app I have found! I have tried several apps over the years & they have failed miserably. myTuner Radio allows me to listen without crashing. I downloaded this app after the frustration of Amazon music randomly stopping @the most importune times. When I am gloved up to clean the toilet or all soaped up in the shower. I feel like I should be able to listen to FREE music without the powers that be deciding to interrupt my groove😁. I have used the app for 3 months & 💗Thank you myTuner!!

Horrible...choose a favorite and get locked into an ad that just plays and plays with no way to escape. No close or exit icon. And, don't dare tap anywhere on the screen, lest you want to be taken to their web site. In the end, u never get to listen to your station. The absolutely worst app for ads in a sea of bad in the Play Store 🥵 Be happy and UNISTALL!

It a fairly standard radio streaming app with lots of station choices. However, if you want to add a station not present in their library, you have to do all the work, and most the time, it just doesn't work at all, it won't take the information. I've used other apps where you just supply the call letters, frequency, city & state, and they do the rest. Aside from that one issue, it's got a nice clean interface, that needs a dark theme, and its fairly easy-to-use.

I'm listening to a radio station with ads and then the app interrupts the radio program to play an ad! Then my phone gets a notification and plays a notification tone which interrupts the app, so it plays another ad before returning to the program! Edit: Thanks for your response, but your explanation is FALSE. The station never cuts off a radio program in the middle of a thought to play an ad and then return to the program already in progress, causing me to miss part of the program; that's you!

The mytuner app keeps their station data up-to-date; on the rare occasion that station information needs changed they are all very polite, eager, and quick to enact a panacea to the problem. The ads that show up are not intrusive and troublesome, even when I do not deem them relevant to my situation personally. They have the best selection of small town, city and major city stations to choose from. The stations offer a plethora of choice ; they have all the great stations I grew up with.

Straight forward radio 'tuner' emulation. Streams many stations well. Usually buffers and keeps signal smooth and steady. Better than the well known competitor in this category. Allows calls to come through and automatically resumes. Has lots of podcasts that come up easily. Even a very modest EQ - so often needed - but rarely included. Best choice in class.

App has crashed four times in one day. The app works well...when it works. The app lacks a way to have the podcasts in ascending or descending order. Some podcasts have the newest on top and others on the bottom. The play is form top to bottom. This is frustrating because if you do not watch the dates, you can easily hear part 2 of a podcast and then hear the first episode. Please update the app with the ability to play podcasts by dare and episode.

Buggy as all hell!! Will not save favorites (despite creating an account, and giving it access to storage). Takes forever to load too. And good luck searching for a station by city, especially if your city never doesn't begin with the letter A - you have to scroll through a huge alphabetical list... On the plus side, it has a very comprehensive list... but it doesn't matter because it will not remember the ones you set as favorites.

This app contains commercials which you are not able to immediately back out. the ad will continue playing for 15 to 20 seconds and not allow you to listen to the program or radio station you desired. I don't get all the programming I'm looking for in iHeartRadio but I don't have to put up with these capturing ads. The adds occur when any station is first started. If i need to get rid of the add, I stop I need to stop ituner and restart. I haven't the same issue with the individual radio apps.

I like this app. It does sometimes refuse to start a stream and I need to reboot the phone. It may be due to another app that is blocking access to the mixer. Perhaps Plex? Also, some streams are only in one channel, like KBBR. It would be nice to have a mono mode so it goes to both left and right.

Way too annoying. Station options are virtually unorganized; no info is provided about any of the stations, so one has to pick stations at random; I downloaded it to use as a clock radio, but that option was not apparent in the app; music simply stopped 3 times in the few minutes that I was diddling around with the thing. Nice in concept, but ineptly designed.

I think this app is ok. It has different radio stations, including some that are small and regional. BUT, cuts in and out CONSTANTLY. I can't listen for every long before it just stops working. Then it will come back on after 5 secs, 10s or 30s or just stop altogether. Nothing is more frustrating than trying to listen and every other minute, the app cuts off the sound for a few seconds.

I mean the stations are there. However it cuts to ads in the middle of things often and sometimes it just gets stuck on ads on repeat. Also. I kept getting popup ads whenever I'd use the internet on my phone or open an app. Couldn't figure out where they were coming from. I uninstalled this app and suddenly no more popup ads. Pushing popup ads through at all times even when not in use is the worst thing an app can do.

I really like this app because it has so many different kinds of radio, it's crazy!! It even has podcasts, I mean it has lots of ways to get your audio on!! You can add & delete whenever, making your experience much better than just putting a regular radio app on your phone. Try it, I bet you'll stick with it, not just for your city's radio or your state's but the entire WORLD!! I mean all kinds of music & from anywhere too!! Trust me, I wouldn't steer you wrong. Not about music anyway!! ENJOY!!

I went through a million apps and randomly came across this, when I was close to giving up. I loved it so much that within 10 minutes of using it I purchased the ad-free version. However, a couple of things frustrated me: songs keep cutting off after 30 seconds, I can't share anything (keep getting an error message), it hangs quite a bit, and when I switch apps the podcast plays on well but when I switch back it switches to radio. Please fix this - I really want to rate this 5 stars.
