I booked 24 hours ahead for a ride to Norfolk Airport for a flight. Several hours later, I got confirmation a driver was assigned for my pickup at 6:30 pm. At 5:30 pm I get a text that driver will pick me up at 6:30. THEN at 6:30 I get a text that they are looking for a driver. I've got a flight at 9, it's 6:30 and I'm an hour away from the airport. Lyft sucks! I was in Coinjock NC, it cost me $200 to get someone to get me to the airport to make my flight. LYFT SUCKS! DO NOT USE THEM.

There is no shot you guys are busy 24/7. That's insane to even claim you are. Stop unchanging ridiculous amounts and MAYBE people will use this. No one wants to pay $50 for a 3 mile drive. That's insane and overpriced even if gas was $10 a gallon.

Wait and Save is a scam, constant cancelations from drivers. Sometimes it takes 30+ minutes to find a ride and I only.live a few miles away from work. I have at least one or two cancelations from the drivers every time I request a ride. There have been several instances if the driver accepting and then stalling for 15 or 20 minutes trying to get me to cancel. Tired of being charged a cancelation fee for these lazy drivers trying to make a quick buck.

Some of the most unreliable drivers on any app. A lot of them even just sit around hoping you cancel and waste your time. I generally only use this when im running late to work, only for it to usually take just as long as if I had walked. I would say look elsewhere.

Terrible app. If you need this for anything important at all (work), you'll be pulled around until you pay for a premium ride and lied to about the number of drivers close to your position.

the app is ridiculous you can look at a price then go back literally 1 or 2 minutes after that and the price has gone up I seen it go up personally up to more than $10 the the first price you saw it's such a scam and don't even bother for "priority pick up"

charged me a fee because made my driver wait... 24 secs. also, charged my girl friend 110 dollars for a 7 minute ride. no indication that was a surcharge. even if there was, that is an outrageous amount. this app isn't any better than uber. owned by a bunch of greedy scammers.

Was a pleasant experience. My driver was professional, kind and drove in a safe manner. I didn't have a long wait. The fare was reasonable. No complaints.

We usually book extra comfort rides, drivers are very nice and the vehicles are clean and nice.

When I ordered a ride, I specified the exact location which was Glaxay Land Level 1 entrance 8. I waited 20 min for the ride and when the driver arrived, and the driver arrived at the Toyota entrance. I sent him couple of messages and tried to call him to tell him that he was at the wrong location, but without a warning he canceled and I didn't get a full refund. I am mad about the driver and the way the company handled the issue.

great app for transportation alot of times they have a very competitive rate and are sometimes cheaper than you've Uber but you have to catch them on a good day because they are pretty similar. they have a program that's supposed to lower your fare but I've had it for several months and idk if I've seen a difference but who knows I may be wrong... I should try it workout the subscription and see what happens... otherwise great app!

A blatant scam.

Seems to have gotten much worse about promising a driver is close and then they vanish. Waited nearly 30 minutes only to then be told no drivers were available. In the middle of Los Angeles. Better to spend a bit more elsewhere and have the ride show up as promised.

Extremely overpriced me and didn't honor it's much less expensive offer before price gouging me! The app sends me a link to the paid subscription for $20 off that I didn't want but signed for the free trial to use the discount and the subscription didn't honor it!

Had a bad experience with Uber Eats ripping me off and then the AI customer service giving me the standard "sorry" without correcting the issue or letting me speak with a human. After disputing the cc transaction, and them showing a forever outstanding balance, Uber would let me schedule rides but would not let me tip via the app. Tried Lyft and have had great experiences every time. Buh-bye Uber, Lyft has made me one happy rideshare customer...

There is no legitimate safety support. last night's ride was unacceptable and I'll be leaving Lyft entirely since it's clear you do not care to provide real safety tools (in ride tools last night were useless) nor do you care to have safe drivers. I thought Lyft was supposed to care about ppl which is why I stomach higher prices compared to Uber, but you've shown me all i need to know, focusing on profits only (hence AI chat agents now) and completely losing your ethics

Abysmal A.I. customer service and no protections for riders. We needed to retrieve a phone that was left in a Lyft driver's car. Both the driver and the Lyft app were incredibly unhelpful. The driver wouldn't respond to our multiple attempts to contact her and we needed to contact local police to get the phone back. There was no way to report this incident to Lyft itself because it didn't involve an accident.

rides crazy expensive at certain work shift times should not be the case, its literally ridiculous to charge 50 to 80 for a ride that would normally cost no more than 20. should be ashamed of yourselves.

The app works great, my only suggestion would be to tell us earlier when a driver has accepted our trip. (This might only be an issue with wait and save?) To me, the appeal of a rideshare app over a taxi service is that you have more information & can plan better.

Lyft is a scam. They have you add funds to your Lyft account and still charge your bank directly instead of the funds in your Lyft account. I tried to call for help but was only assigned to chat. I asked for a phone number to call so I can talk to a live person, and was told there wasn't a direct line to call.

I'm so tired of requesting a ride multiple times just to be told to try again later. I have to get to work SOMEHOW, I can't try again "later". And what more, whenever I try to get support, all that happens is I talk to a stupid AI chat bot thats asks which ride in my history I'm talking about. I'm so done and disappointed. I thought y'all were cheaper in just your prices, turns out your support is cheap too.

Biggest complaint is one forcing me to pay a tip and two price gouging which is illegal by the way. I can understand a little price increase depending on time of day. But 80$ for standard and 331$ for priority just because it is a holiday ridiculous.

What a scam app. I have a Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, which comes with a $10 monthly Lyft credit. The ride will initially show with the credit applied, and then they charge the credit back when you add a tip, likely hoping people won't notice. Their support team is completely useless, and will try to blame Chase, when Lyft is the one who discounts the ride! I might just stick with Uber going forward. At least they know how to apply Amex credits.

I've used Lyft often and usually don't have this problem but there has been some people lately who force a tip in the app. I don't have any auto pay turned on and this has happened 20 times already. This shouldn't be happening at all and the Lyft support says that tips are non refundable even if you don't consent to them or are forced

Rating drivers with "Ok" "Great" is misleading and hurts drivers. This is an obfuscation that I didn't know impacted a driver's net metric. While leaving drivers with 5 stars through 1 is a universal language. This is just awful and I didn't know until I asked that Ok wasnt the same as a 5 star review. I mean what is great supposed to mean? I was handed a smoothie and it was great? no the ride was OK and 5 stars because nothing went wrong. but ok means something else entirely. Please change back

what bothers me is this how in the hell is my ride more than what it was before I got closer to it I literally walked closer to my destination to lower the price and the price went up it was cheaper when I was further away from my location can anyone at Lyft make that make sense

In General, good service. ONLY thing that burns me is... when the driver is NOT going to your pickup address, but in this case a Designated Transport area... and you have to walk there in the rain... no umbrella. Send me a frickin' EXPLICIT text when you pull that sh♧t ‼️🤬
