dont order from just eat at all stay away from them, I did my first over over 30 quid worth of food, just for the delivery to say its been handed over, it needed a pin from me so who either got my food knew my pin of the delivery driver took it, tried to get a refund was denied, bloody stupid, you are sat talking to an ai bot, whats that its not customer service, just please stay away from them money robbing theif's

Very bad customer service from Dominic Joseph and Kalyan, not issuing any compensation from a scam order. Recommend using an alternative delivery app where possible.

Awful customer service. Ordered yesterday and half the order was missing. Went round and round in circles with their ai live chat, asking for pictures of the food we didn't receive. Sent everything we could, plus pointed out we immediately has to order the same food again, only to be told today there isn't enough proof. Will be using an alternative app in future.

Chat bots and Ai. No humans, so when things go wrong, it takes weeks to resolve. Once again, a delivery driver has run away with my food. Just eat take 3 days to respond, and the driver gets to eat my food in the car whilst I have to reorder and wait even longer. It's gone down hill as a customer and restaurant owner. They don't care.

Great range of Eateries! Efficient site, rare to have a problem, but all issues dealt with promptly.

If anything goes wrong with your order it's impossible to contact Just Eat, they say contact the restaurant, and the restaurant says contact Just Eat. They have no customer service at all.

why would you remove the feature that allows us to read reviews? genuslly curious. plus why when a place have 10% 1 star reviews and 77% 5 star reviews it is still rated 5 star. for some reason you made it very hard for people to make informed decisions on what they buy. this really baffles me.

order from maccys came cold. reported on the app straight away, followed with two emails and head nothing. i wanted my money back thats it and seems i cant just loop on there help bs.

My order was a complete mess, and despite providing photographic evidence of what I received, Just Eat refused to issue me a refund. The customer service experience is ridiculous. You're forced to deal with a bot rather than being able to speak to an actual person, and when you finally receive a response, your complaint is rejected despite the evidence.

Got so bored with fake offers that the app shows (currently £10 of £15) that don't materialise and are not honoured by customer service that I've given up on this unless app. Not interested in supporting the fraudulent activity of fake deals, plus the deals are always better on UberEats. Account and app deleted.

AI generated menu pictures need to be removed and not allowed. its false advertising, misleading, and the food NEVER looks like the ai picture.

Just eat refusing a refund for food not received. Beware. They said it was left outside in a secure location. Where's the proof it was left in a secure location? I checked and nothing was left outside, il have to request a refund via my bank, absolutely appalling service, I called the restaurant and even the restaurant said the driver probably stole it and that it happens a lot. It's basically theft. Just eat clearly don't value long time customers with many many successful orders. DISGUSTING

They also have no confirmation for orders so I've had order been marked as delivered before and not received it, the ai chat support was useless and I couldn't request a refund fortunately the restaurant was able to remake my order when I went in store and explained

absolute rubbish now. AI has taken over customer service and blocks you from contacting a human. order placed yesterday at 18:00, AI refusing to connect to an agent as its over 24 hours ago at 13:30. Yet another stupid company relying on AI that is dumb. Can't get a refund for a badly delayed order. might as well uninstall this rubbish app as you can't deal with humans anymore. DOWN WITH AI, ITS NO REPLACEMENT FOR A HUMAN! (Especially when it can't even tell the time! - or is this deliberate?)

The app itself simple concise and clear. if you have a problem the person you speak to is very professional, they will then pass your details for another department to contact you. who you will never hear from. the drivers also have a habit of collecting multiple deliveries no matter what direction, my last order was 27 minutes from when it was collected from the restaurant to arriving at the door. that's not the current record. edit 30-10-26 still bad can't register complaints through the app.

Absolutely useless app and non-existent customer support. My order arrived missing items, and Just Eat refused to refund me for the food I never received. How can a company take your money, fail to deliver what you paid for, and then refuse to reimburse you? Will be deleting the app and using alternative delivery platforms from now on.

I've ordered a grocery shop 3 times on the app, twice it was fine but the one I placed today kept changing the time of delivery and eventually 3 hours after placing the order it was cancelled. I contacted the driver but got no reply. I will go back to uber eats at least they are reliable

So if I order food and it doesn't match the AI generated picture, where do I stand? The app is flooded with AI images and ghost kitchens. This will be what kills an already struggling food industry due to these ordering apps. This is before you go down the route of how over priced everything is on here.

horrible service, wrong order- missing items and wrong item while it was all cold and ice cream was melted. i reached out and i could not be given a refund, they didnt even try to compensate

never using again.. got sent 5 wrong items and was told wasn't going to get a refund.. in the end I did but no apology and no stress to get things done right. cannot trust just eat as might not be refunded if they've done a mistake (ridiculous mentality by the way)..

Refused to refund a disaster of an order, claiming that I'd made too many refund claims in the past. I hadn't - when I asked for proof of that, they refused to give it.

Ai customer service. Ordered from a resteraunt because they had a buy one get one free offer on. Only recieved half of the food but told by just eat that I would recieve no compensation because only the 'free' items were missing. Having been a customer for many years I've now deleted the app as this shows that prices/offers ect can't be trusted so they have lost a good customer.

Absolutely awful service. Used the app to order an Indian takeaway. After 1 hour and 30 minutes and feeling very hungry (and angry) I used the app to say that my food had not been delivered and Justeat said they would look into a refund, at which point I went out to buy a Chinese takeaway. Two hours late, the Indian takeaway eventually arrived but was unwanted (just had a Chinese). I was expecting a refund but because it was delivered, but not eaten, no refund has been given. Not good!

This recent ai image take over is ridiculous. Trying new restaurants is near impossible as you don't actually know what you're getting. Images look nothing like what you're getting. I understand it was to fill places that didn't have Images but honestly just ban ai outright on the app. It's straight up false advertising whether it's you or them putting up the ai slop. Just send constant reminders to the restaurant for images to be added but please don't allow any restaurant to use AI images.

still waiting for customer services to contact me but have been sent a form to fill out about how they helped me resolve something that's not been resolved, ordered food, never arrived and now just eat are impossible to contact and taking their time to contact myself, spent £30 quid, no food, no updates, no apologies. Once resolved will not be using again terrible customer service and no way of sorting issues other than some stupid messages, I would like refunded for the non delivery.

Awful customer service, there was mould in my milkshakes and I took photographic evidence, yet customer service said they can't do anything about it. Had to throw the milkshakes away, waste of money.

No way to contact someone when a delivery is delayed for more than 30 minutes than advertised. False advertising when you order. More than an hour and fifteen minutes for fast food order from popeyes (delivered by justeat not a partner restaurant) is ridiculous during day time

make sure you check your food before you give them the code, I had to wait 2 hours for a delivery food was ice cold called the restaurant 30mins after I ordered they said they was waiting on a driver took just eat 1h 30min to get a driver to pick it up then told me due to me giving the driver the code so he could complete his order means I am no longer allowed a refund. use any other delivery services just not this one!!!!

Pathetic and Awful Service! Absolutely ridiculous service! It has been over 2 hours since I placed my order, and it’s still not delivered. The app keeps showing that the courier will arrive within an hour, while the order status remains stuck on processing. This is completely unacceptable and a total waste of time. To make matters worse, there is no proper way to contact the support team for help. No updates, no accountability, and absolutely no customer service.

It took 2 hours to deliver since the courier picked my order up, because it had other deliveries to do.

no customers service at all i got £20 removed from my £60 gift card on a order error. I tried everything to contact justeat and everything goes bk to automated stuff, even over the phone. it's important to actually to a human. luckily after many hours my gift card got sorted but it messed up the friend night with friends.

500 max character count for this review doesn't allow me to justify how shockingly terrible my relative's customer experience was last night. 3 hour late order, couldn't cancel. very few drivers to deliver in the area. no customer support, useless chat support didn't resolve the issue. I strongly advise not to use JustEat. Utterly useless, she never got her refund from the app. They seem to value profit over people, no human support, zero management of our expectations. JustEat? JustTrash.

AI atrocity I tried the app but like most images are AI generated!? how I'm supposed to order food based on fake information!? also many of them are just gross. after seeing some of these AI generated worms I just deleted the app...

Just eat has pretty good options for my area, a pretty good deal/offer on delivery and I find that any issues are resolved instantly. which means I would definitely say give it a try. I also don't experience the issue of driver's not turning up and Uber eats still keeping my money. So I find Just Eat quite a good alternative.

I don't get random charges with Just eat, like deliveroo and Uber eats. Service is generally good too.

Regularly issue me with discount offers. Apparently applied automatically at checkout. Except they don't. No ability to speak to support and they have no clue what promotions I've been offered so are utterly clueless and unable to help. Just a default answer of "you need to meet the terms and conditions" but nobody is able to tell me what they are.

The service costs more than other apps of similar nature and I have had multiple occasions of ordering food and it not arriving since I started using the app. Delivery times are slightly faster than other food delivery apps but not enough for the much higher delivery fees, and the app picks and chooses it's resturants meaning some indepent resturants may not be delivered. The A.I image generation is also just really bad for multiple reasons.

the app takes money for orders that never arrive or arrive 3 hours late, and refuses you any customer service or refunds. they used to have customer service and compensate you, but now they just rob you. Uber eats and deliveroo NEVER do this or steal your money. just eat are thieves

overall decent app, had a recent issue of the app changing my address randomly and giving the couriers a different address to what I have saved. messed around with the courier and myself because of that bug. but it's just an okay app.

Unfair and unlawful practices. They deliver wrong items, dont deliver items at all and then either dont give you a full refund (they never refund the 10% surcharge you pay) or dont give you a refund at all (in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Complaint going in to Trading Standards via CAB and if you have had a similar experience, I would advise you to do the same so that there is a greater chance of JE being held accountable for their unlawful actions.

Shameful policies, that if they don't deliver the order you only get back what is missing, no one takes any responsibilities for missed items, just ordered 2 breakfasts from morrisons cafe only get one but still need to pay for the delivery charge and additional charges and the breakfast we received

Food is always late and food is cold. Anytime I've asked for refunds I get denied. If I decide to cancel. Order you still get charged full price because you only 5 minutes to cancel. Just eat is a rip off and wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Food was 45 minutes late and arrived luke warm and soggy from the steam. The naan was cooked in a microwave and had hard bits that you couldn't chew. All was thrown in the bin. Customer service said they see no issue and charged me full price.

You always have to wait longer than the app initially tells you, and orders get cancelled very frequently. One piece of advice: if you don’t know how to run a business, maybe you should go back to working in a factory. Perhaps that’s where you belong.

When asking for a refund, sometimes the app literally ignores you, even if you have evidence that your food never arrived and spent an hour stood in the cold on your birthday waiting for it. And when you try to talk to customer service, they refuse to give specifics or engage with you.

Terrible experience. I have used twice and the first time food was severely delayed, cold and made wrong. When I reported this to the app they refused to refund. Second order had almost half missing and vegan items were made with non vegan cheese. Again my refund was denied. I won't be using again.

Used to be the best app, now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, you will order from a place that is closer so the food will arrive quicker, then it will notify you that the food is arriving whilst the bike rider goes around town dropping food to several people before they get to you, leaving your drinks flat and food cold. No point.

The AI images are just a dreadful idea, if a restaurant doesn't provide their own images then it should remain blank. I don't want to see a completely unrepresentative image generated by AI, which in most cases actually looks really unappetising.
