Decent app to make invoices and keep record right on your phone. It works well but won't allow you to send multiple invoices repetitively. after about 5 or 6 individual emails it will fail to send and require a 2 or 3 min period before it will successfully send your invoices. A little annoying but I still love the app.

Edit to this review after several years of using it. It worked well at first, but over time it doubled in price and lost features. I now am limited on how many invoices I can send a month unless I end up paying them even more money. Along with that the email it generates when sending to a client looks like a scam email and several of my clients began refusing to click the link that it sends. TLDR - it used to be good, but it's gotten worse, more limited, and more expensive.

I've used Invoice Simple for almost all my entire business time last business and im restarting it back up I plan on using it again for all my Estimates and Invoices. very simple and straight forward. I can adjust exactly everything I want to, it's not overly complex, and it sends all my paper work Very Professionally. Thanks!

I have had this app since 2020, it was $6.99 a month and offered everything now they want $21 and it's not even a great format. The only reason I kept it was because I have every estimate and invoice I've ever had since getting it.

the app is working perfectly fine

uninstalled and not used in 5 years..... continue to get billed by them. the service when i used it was fine. this is taking the piss now.....

horrible app!! had this app for many years and paid the $30 yearly fee. now they want me to pay $7 per month for something like 3 or 5 invoices a month. much more if I want to make more invoices. I dealt with this before because $30 a year was fine, but $100's a year is such a joke. They also want to be involved with how my customers pay me, they want to be part of that transaction- likely to make more money on the processing fees. I gave them 2 stars because 1 star is reserved for terrorist.

it has become way to expensive. going to switch to a cheaper invoice service. there is absolutely no need for it to cost so much. my subscription price tripled in a day. beware.

well at the beginning they was great and the app only cost 2.99. I run a small business and have had this app for many years so all my records are with them. now they raised their plans to over $40/month and i just can't pay that. you would think they would customize a plan to people that was there in the beginning. so I wouldn't recommend their app because of the way they do their plans if you buy the middle plan it's not even enough invoices to get thru a month 4 weeks so your short.

keep raising your price? chat gpt makes invoices free. I like the app but slowly becoming not worth it. probably canceling.

Cannot generate expense reports with copies of the invoices. As per customer support, technical team supposed to look into that, but 2 weeks after I reported problem, issue is not resolved and my messages are ignored.

I've been using this app for a few years and I have watched as they've steadily raised their prices, but now the price increase is beyond reasonable. It used to be less than £40 a year, for unlimited invoices. It is now £199.99 for the same subscription, or £169.99 if you're only going to send 10 invoices. I don't care about the features, I dont care for AI, I just wanted an easy (simple, one might say) way to keep track of invoices that didnt cost the earth. This isn't it.

To big to care. I have been 4 years with the app. In four years team can't come up with editable template to fit in one page. Basic template does it, but once you include QR Payment Code, even 1 or 2 line Invoice is split into 2 separate pages. QR Code takes about 1/4 of the oage and support only offers not working suggestions instead of adjusting QR code size on the page to any adequate suze.

Wow I'm not one for boasting but this app has saved me going forward alot of time doing this admin manually. Thankyou is all I can say however the prices gone up from £4.99 to over £24.99 now over the years so am concerned how much more it will keep going up in future. Start off cheap but then prices will hike up so you have been warned in advance.

I wasn't able to get past sign up without a business name and giving my phone number. I don't have a business and I wasn't willing to give my phone number, because I don't want a product that I downloaded but wasn't not able to use selling my phone number while I get nothing.

BEWARE!!! The invoice links being sent to my client were incorrect, undercharging what the actual invoice was. They refused to acknowledge this despite my screenshots. i lost $300 as a result of this one invoice. I'll have to go back and check every invoice over the last 3 years to see how much revenue has been lost. lawsuit coming up.

Awful!!!! KEEP AWAY. I cancelled my subscription some time ago but I'm still being charged. I've tried to contact them but can only communicate with their AI chat bot. It's not the first time I've tried to contact them.

Everything we've expected. Works great! But: i have x2 subscriptions, and there's a price increase every 6 months, it's like gas prices.

I purchased An Annual subscription January 10th 2026. In September 2026 I received a notification that my Annual subscription renewed again and they charged me $233. I went through a long process through messaging and was told it's Googles fault and they can't do anything. So 4 Months were STOLEN from me and they can't do anything about it, literally crooks. good luck with this company. I've been using them since 2023 and subscription has gone up A LOT since then- stupid features I never use....

Been with this app for 5 years, my own contracting business. I cancel subscription in the winter and reactivate in the spring. I started a 40 hr week job and reactivated my account but only for the basic plan for weekend jobs. Just found out they been charging me for 2 plans and the higher plan I was being charged for was inaccessible to me. Contacted them and they told me its not in their policy for a refund on something I never even signed up for. So after all this im deactivating. ✌

PERFECT AND USER FRIENDLY!

Incredibly difficult to get customer support. And the system doesn't allow for your invoices to be signed by customers. From legal and practical standpoint without having a signature on the invoice from the customer makes it incredibly difficult to deal with chargebacks or customer disputes. This is a major requirement of an invoicing system and this company refuses to implement it.

Started with the invoice free trial. The instant invoice option is great for quick jobs. Estimate feature helps with quotes. Good for a startup

Not what it used to be. on multiple occasions I have typed up an invoice or estimate and when I'm drafting it, if I go back to all my estimates or invoices or if I even leave the app, it erases everything in said invoice or estimate leaving me to do it all over again. beyond frustrating. and to raise the price time and time again? seriously?

Been using and paid monthly for this app since 2021. It's nice and simple to use, but why did I start off paying $7.00 a month and progressively work up to $21.00 a month for the same excact app? Doesn't make sense, I'm not utilizing or doing anything different on the app from the day I started using it. Now my minimum subscription is up $13.00 a month? I was fine with the $2.00 increase, I was even fine with the $6.00 increase. But respectfully this app isn't worth $21.00 a month.

The app works well when it works, but the subscription management is terrible. I've been charged monthly for a paid account, yet the app constantly tells me I'm using a free version and asks me to upgrade. Support has "fixed" the issue multiple times, but it keeps coming back. Most recently, I was charged twice because I followed the upgrade prompt while already paying for a subscription. Very frustrating customer experience.

Honest Review I’ve been using this app for a while, but I’m now seriously considering leaving due to the constant price increases. I only use it for basic invoices and don’t use any of the additional software or AI features, yet I’m now paying £134.99 a year. That’s become absolutely ridiculous for what I actually use it for. I understand prices increase, but this is no longer good value for money. I’m now looking at alternatives because £134.99 a year for basic email is just too much.

This app is not free. Moreover it requires a subscription just to use. For such a basic tool this seems like a real scummy way to bleed money out of people. From a consumer's perspective you should have just made it a premium app and slapped a 2 or 3 dollar price tag on it.

Was great. But then they started adding fake value & increased prices whilst throttling people to a paltry 10 invoices per month unless i pay more. There's free invoice creators im now with, Square etc. Better than $500 USD per year.

I have been using invoice simple for 8 years and have loved it until recently. Not only has the price gone up & limited it to 10 invoices a month. But today I log in to do an invoice and its now changed to 3 a month unless I upgrade to $22.98 a month. Today its not even letting me create an invoice. I'm so disappointed and will be looking elsewhere.

I started using this app in 2023 and it was $60 a year then the next year it raised about $20 and then the next year it raised another $25 and then the next year it jumped up $100 now in 2026 it is jumping up another $25. the constant price increases just appear to be money grabs since more and more people are discovering the app. they now limit things that you can do such as the amount of pictures you can put on an invoice. they offer more such as expense reports and payments through the app.

slow app and its getting pricey only allowed 10 invoices per month joke continous loading need to close it and reopen it for each invoice theres no customer contact section? you keep putting price up for poorer service 16-8-26 another price increase still crashes frequently if your going to keep charging atleast make app work

This has got to be the easiest app to use period. I have gotten so many compliments from customers on the estimates and invoices. i really like the fact that customers can pay online. it's really handy to have customers.Be able to sign estimates as well. the\nWhole thing is extremely affordable.
