Band info is not displayed with any depth. You can't tap anything for further insight. All you can do is get a vague idea of how you're doing. Everything that should be a graph is a vertical line with marks every 50 units. You also have to buy the pod to get the whole picture. I got band hoping for more constant information than my Samsung watch provides w/ manual check-ins, but reads from the watch provide ALL the info this does + body comp, and in far more detail, w/o requiring a scale or sub.

So far my experience with the Hume band and pod has been interesting, and has improved as the products have evolved. My Hume 2 paired easier than Band 1 and the battery life appears extended. The pod has so much information that it takes awhile to understand and interpret it. Additional instructions might be useful. I also wish different bands were available for purchase. I'd like to change from black to other colors occasionally, although the 2.0 band is easier to adjust and tracks consistently

the scale constantly does not complete the measurements. I've tried resetting it, cleaning, plugging it in. I reached out to support. they were no help. they wanted me to record the issue. you want me to buy a new phone or a camera so I can show you what's happening when I stand on this and what shows up on my phone? that's stupid. screenshots I can understand but a video? they just don't want to help and want you to give up. I didn't want a replacement just tell me how to fix it. trash.

Not worth the hype. I've had the app and the Hume band 2.0 close to 10 months now. it worked fine for for couple of weeks. after that connectivity through Bluetooth and following metrics went completely downhill. The band recorded my sleep but would not give me a sleep score, workouts would delete themselves or not record the workout at all. I ended up getting the paid subscription. definitely not worth the money. I'll probably end up canceling and stick with my pixel watch from now on

I've had the device a few weeks, it's pretty janky and loses connection with the phone regularly. It took weeks after the supposed ship date for the device to arrive, when I contacted them and told them I no longer wanted it, they replied it was just a few days from delivery and if I accepted it they offered 3 months free of their upgraded AI version of the app. It will not allow me to apply this and they've never replied when I emailed them. In short, BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!

This app is telling me my remaining calorie budget for the day is 381 with 0 calories consumed!!!! It's 8am, and I haven't eaten or logged anything. This is dangerous for people with EDs. I don't care if I lay around like a slug all day, no one should eat less than 400 calories a day. Additionally, the BP doesn't give you a value range; it only says "low / elevated/ very high"

I want to love this app however it is not showing in my weekly health report, the sleep, activity or chronic illness because it says not enough data and tells me to continue wearing the band. I only take the band off when near water. I asked for help from support 3 weeks ago and they told me to uninstall and reinstall, which I did 3 weeks ago. The report is still not working correctly and I have emailed support several times since with no reply. Very frustrating.

so it was really cool the interface is nice but for whatever reason portions of the data don't flow to all sections so for instance when I use my pod I get all the information body composition all the details but when I go to my health score it says that there's a lack of body composition if a data so it's not able to calculate it properly so I reached out to human health they said that there's a bug in their working on it but there's no ETA

Muscle strain always shows zero, even after heavy squats, deadlifts, or Krav Maga sessions. This core metric never reflects real training intensity, making it useless for strength athletes. Worse, there's no option to manually log workouts/activity, so when auto-detection misses a session (common with lifting), it's just gone. Health score and recovery insights end up wildly inaccurate. Other users report similar issues. Please fix strain tracking and add manual logging.

im a insomniac. so this app never starts my day or updates my recommendations because it says sleep data not recorded. it was recorded. the 1 and 28 minutesis how long i slept. mostly a great and helpful product, if you are perfectly healthy. can also be hard to get a reading on the pod. kinda like it won't wake up. sometimes I have to restart the app or pull the handle up and down until it wakes up. can be annoying in the morning and causing me to give up on a reading and skip that weigh in.

All is good, but the scale doesn't always read and I have had to jump on scale several times. Then it tells me that it read my weight, but this is not my optimal time. I have to be at work at 6:30am, so I can't wait until 7:40am to weigh myself. Then time when I am weighing the start my day comes up and interrupted the weigh in. Very frustrating.

this is a very cool and useful app. I do have issue with the overall experience. bringing all the data together is very insightful. I feel as though I've been a beta tester with the first 2 bands. reliable data capture about 75% of the time. enough to know that you want it to be more reliable for the complete picture. I have the scale and band. I'd say I'm 85% satisfied. I think this will be an amazing suite of products once they iron out the few kinks that still exist.

It's not the greatest.. I have the band and the scale and I think it's completely overpriced and I'm kinda pissed I bought this thing now.. Accuracy is definitely ballpark estimates.. Bluetooth is god awful for the price of this thing. I'm going to keep using it but it's definitely not worth what they are asking. 150$ product at best. Look elsewhere. (1 month later) Nope, this is a scam. This is a cheap product packaged as an alternative to a dexa scan. It's a fake, I lost $500 for a $15 scale.

I bought the Hume band mostly for tracking sleep, and even after enrolling in the subscription, it still doesn't offer an accurate way to track sleep if you get out of bed one time in the night. Also setting "go to bed" and "get out of bed" setting i gave up finding. Other app features are average at best

I like this app but being a former statistian, I like numbers. I would find this app and its huge amount of data more useful if the graphs included numbers whenever possible... and/or, more horizontal lines that are clearly marked so the user can follow the ups and downs of the data. Of course, the ultimate for someone like myself (and probably many doctors) would be the ability to download the raw data to Excel for further analysis. That would be the ultimate.

Much better than simple weight/body fat scales. A significant difference in body fat percentages, much closer to caliper measurements. It gives a much better idea of where fat, protein distributed. All things considered, worth the price. Update 9/2026 With Hume Band, gives a more complete picture than my Fitbit Sense. I've compared them side-to-side for several months. 1 big negative, in comparison: it shows my sleep stage breakdown for ~1 sec, while calculating. Should persist!

I have been having problems with my pod completing a scan without saying "measurement failed" for over the last 2 weeks. I have had the band & pod for close to 1 month and the pod hasn't worked over half the time I have had it. I have not been able to find a customer service # and my emails have either been ignored or days for responses. still waiting on a meaningful contact so I can replace the pod..? I really liked it for the couple weeks it worked. customer service has been very frustrating.

No free trial. I subbed for the nutrition but it SUCKS. Only option for meals is a picture or barcode and out of 10 items scanned it found 3. It takes x number of tries then it let's you describe the item, but that sucks too. it won't find supplements by scanning or manually entering barcodes or descriptions. Did I mention it SUCKS!!!!!! I canceled the sub but wasted 99$ trying it. Did I mention it SUCKS. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IT SUCKS. I canceled after 10 minutes, GIVE ME A REFUND!

Hume Band paired, took a firmware update and then failed to connect after that. It's a half-baked POS!!! Edit: no FAQ or immediate help through chat, just an option to have them email you back at some point. I figured I would try uninstalling and re-installing the app and the band paired again, so we will see now. I'll be taking the 30 day return policy seriously with this one. Been a frustrating day with a new gadget I was hoping to enjoy.

2nd Update: 1 star. Tired of dealing with this. Transfers are unreliable if it works. Big if. Doesn't work after 2 days. Always needs recharging when trying to sync up with app. Update: For now, things seem to be working. I have given one more star and will keep you updated......The app and band don't connect when needed. Have no idea if the band is actually keeping track all the time.

After upgrading to the new and improved unit I have concluded that it is a piece of junk compared to other smart scales. step on the scale and the readings jump around like a roulette wheel you never know where it's going to land 2 lb below 2 lb above maybe one day you'll get the correct reading but that's maybe one out of seven. no option the disregard an inaccurate reading. contacting tech support was a waste of time. no matter how much evidence you summit collaborating it failures.

Very disappointed. I've been wearing this band for almost a year and I'm done. It will tell me I had 32 minutes of sleep when I have received a 7-hr restful night with no wakeups. It never logs my activity. I have other wearable devices and they are able to log it. I've emailed them multiple times and they don't do anything to fix it. I'm just done. I'm disabling it and I'm done. Their marketing ploys are fake and they do not do what they claim. All Hype!

Rough start on this device for me but it needs a solid month of data to get things right also make sure the app/firmware are always up to date either out of date will cause information to loose accuracy. The new beta features are working amazing and comparatively to my other fitness devices accuracy is solid. It helped ordinary me recognize problems and fix them. I'm still trying out the plus features but the adaptive calorie counter helped me loose weight 2 weeks straight and not feel starved

The body pod itself is not the rating of this review but rather the nutrition addon with the app. Just don't. I selected the trial and they charged me for the entire year. I wanted to test the nutrition to track my calories. It would not be worth $1/month. There are 3 ways to get your food in; picture, barcode or text AI search. The features are just minimal. You cannot edit an entry or reuse a previous meal. Uggh.

Doesn’t measure up to sales pitch. Gaps in tracked Sleep it measures, counts against you as sleep dept that doesn't exist, No way to correct. Also doesn't show the time in each sleep state. Doesn’t pick up Mental or Muscular Strain. Connection issues to Pod. Pod and app show different weight. Optimal weight in before I wake-sub programs not talking to each other. Not enough space to cover everything that is wrong.

App works as intended once you are able to pair to the Pod. (tap to turn on and only step on once Bluetooth stops flashing). My issue: I record all the available data manually to see trends. The latest updates are the worst version to date. Previously, you could view different data sets, including ALL = everything listed in order. Now the only option is CHARTS where not all data is available or you have to hunt for and click through to try to find it. I will be reverting to a prior version.

the scale doesn't calculate heart rate correctly. it says my heart rate is 71 but my fit bit is saying I'm 120. not accurate or even close. everything else works great. it also does not connect to the fit bit app like the ad states update: app stops working after a while. Will not sync with the scale and doesnt record anything anymore. no updates available, tried re syncing it. nothing works.

edit: support followed up promptly to help resolve my issues. sometimes the app still has issues reading the first weigh in but having clammy feet helps. Integrations not showing up like Google health. I have years of Fitbit data that won't sync no matter how many times I retry. I also have to weigh myself 2-4 times before it takes properly.

My band has started losing charge very fast. going from fully charged to almost dead in a day or two. Oftentimes, it fails to log activity. I don't see how it can be accurate if it's not picking up activity or readings accurately. I was going to give a 3 star until I realized it wouldn't allow me to post a review under 4 stars on the app. Blocking honest opinions?! Crazy.

I made it to 400 weigh-ins. overall, the experience is good. the scale seems to have inaccuracies and frequently requires multiple weighs to settle down. recently it has given values way out of range. this usually clears with a 3rd or 4th weighing be sure to keep the device charged well, mine seems to want to die quickly. last thing, keep a consistent journal or spreadsheet on all displayed values and watch for trends and not snapshots. I spite of all this, I still recommend it

I've had the band for 3 months. It was a gift. Easy & comfy to wear, water resistant + sleek design. But, it seems like another "promote more subscriptions " to get all features. Accuracy TBD🤷🏼‍♀️. The battery doesn't last as long as they claim. Does not have a good low warning system. Love tracking ideas, but for higher price tag, idk. I haven't tried incl fitness plans yet. Add a clock? Our 2nd fitness band purchase to find the rt fit 😞 Disappointing deceiving advertising.

When it's aligned and working, this app and Hume Products are amazing. Lately, there have been so many updates, and with each one, I lose some of my information data on screen. I understand the data is there, but I can't see it. Now, they are working on adding nutrition info, which is great, but I think they should fix the glitches with what should be working first. My other issue is Android users can't add activity information in. Apple can. What is up with that???

EDIT: it un-pairs itself randomly now and the battery life is drastically worse. Dont buy this!!! it's way too expensive to already be messing up. research something better. idk what's happening. this app was amazing at first. conveniently started not showing battery life and disconnecting constantly from my bluetooth meanwhile other things connected to my bluetooth work without interruption. since it passed the return timeframe seems like a scam. at this point I regret buying it.

Do NOT Subscribe! Do NOT Subscribe! I tried to use what the app said was a free trial and when I clicked to sign up, it charged me and I didn't get the free trial. Also, the cancel anytime does not mean a refund. Their app defaults to taking $99 for an annual payment and they WILL NOT REFUND ANY OF IT. I believe this is a class action lawsuit that can be successful so if you have had this happen to you, please reach out. I'm ready to go forward with .

It's ok. Does give a lot of detail, but it doesn't recognize muscular strain after strength training-- it keeps reporting only on cardiovascular strain and a little bit of mental strain (when I have definitely been strength training and have had some mental strain!). Also, without paying for very expensive screening hard to know how accurate it is. It (combo of pod & band with app) seems a little better than my other fitness device, but again, hard to say without the knowledge of the $$$ tests.

WHEN it works, I like it. There have been so many times it's not tracking anything and I've missed data. Connecting to the band and pod are a huge time suck. Just like this morning, attempted to connect to the band I've been wearing all night.... Nothing. Battery is good, everything is good. Will not connect.

Started excited. Have only used the band since June 2026 and already it's giving problems. I wear the band daily and it doesn't track daily. The features indicate monitoring 24/7 w/ 3-4 day battery life w/ low battery indication. Nope , it doesn't indicate low or no battery so your exercising/ sleeping and etc. it's just a band on your wrist, no tracking/ monitoring at all. I'm not wearing it daily anymore because of having to charge it for 2-3+ hrs cause it's dead, every 3 days or less.

Strain measurement out of whack. A couple weeks ago, a hard day registered maybe 45 on the strain scale which is probably too low. Now with what I'm assuming are changes to the algorithm, an easy basic day is registering over 100. At this point it is a useless measurement and doesn't represent the effort expended during the dya. Please fix.

the scores fluctuate and are not consistent from past scores. I have to weigh 3x to see a more consistent score. I'm not sure how accurate this scale is, except for my weight. I've been training and keeping my eating habits clean and resting for recovery. But the jumps in the score on an empty stomach after I use the bathroom when I get up everyday are you different and inconsistent. which is frustrating. I take what I can out of it all for my progress.

Edit I loved this hume band, but ive realized since they have introduced the new 2.0 my band has been slowly not lasting as long for each charge. I've only had this for 6 months now, so wasn't expecting this drastic of a battery life until at least around a year. Charge is only lasting 2days at most now, even though they say it should last 9 days for the original band. Pretty disappointed in this, honestly.

The UI needs a redesign to provide user options to make the information readable on a phone screen. The font sizes and colors do not work well with the background colors and require the screen brightness to be turned to its brightest setting in order to see many of the scales for the biometric measurements. The app doesn't communicate with the band unless you initiate a sync by opening the app, so low battery warnings will not be received unless you periodically open the app throughout the day.

overall this device is awesome. it has its quirks, but the information is extensive. it is expensive from a working man's perspective, but definitely worth it. there is an arm band and scale. to get the full picture, you'll need both. there's also a subscription that's not required that will provide further information. my complaint is the scales have an issue connecting to the app. 75% of the time I have to turn Bluetooth off then on.

Absolutely love the hume band & pod. I started off with the band, & it was amazing to see my sleep patterns & get a deeper insight, then I coupled it with the home pod & wow!!! I don't even have the additional subscription yet & between these two devices, I get so much information, & suggestions. An absolutely wonderful investment for anyone struggling to do better, or who just wants to keep check on their day to day!

disappointed...I was really excited for this, but both the band and scale are wildly inaccurate. I walk a lot at work...walking desk treadmill. and the step count is off by 50-70% in comparison to the treadmill and my main Samsung health watch. The same issue exists with the scale. at least 5-10 lbs difference than my other scales. how can I trust the other numbers is it's based on such inconsistent and inaccurate data. definitely not 98% dexa accuracy as advertised.

I was so excited to purchase the body pod! The app is not user friendly. I updated to the annual subscription to supposedly get insights to my health but so far nothing. The first week everything worked together perfectly. Every time I try to weigh in since the first week it takes forever with several trials and errors for everything from hydration is too low to read, need to moisturize hands and feet, to cannot connect even with my phone on the floor literally beside the scale.

I really like the Hume Band and Hume Pod! I'm just having problems with keeping them connected to the app. I cant tell if the band is fully charged or if its in pairing mode. I have to step on and off the pod(scale) several times before it will connect to the app. The app is great! I love all the details. Its pretty intuitive and informative. They told me they would send a new charging unit for the band, but I haven't seen it. I do really like it, just having technical difficulties.

I haven't been able to use this for weeks. Despite trying everything and it will not work with the app. I would recommend something else. I'll be tossing mine. Too much trouble for how much this costs. It will not stay charged. I try weighing right after I charge it and I get 4 lines and never any data ir even just the weight. piece of plastic junk......

I have used multiple fitness trackers and I find that none of them give me everything I want and all of them have something unique that is interesting. The Hume tracker provides information that my other two don't and I appreciate and utilize that data. because there is so much information in the app, it can sometimes be difficult to find what you're looking for. there are a couple things that are frustrating.

Been a really useful tool. The nutrition part especially has made me aware of specific macronutrients I've been consuming. Has helped me lose 20 lbs. the past 4 months, and be under 200lbs for the first time since the late 90s. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the annoying, "make sure you swipe your app off so it can measure sleep correctly when you press the app back on in the morning" glitch. Sometimes you just fall asleep and forget. Gotta fix that!

Love the Hume health app, band and pod. It's great to see the small consistent changes, and it keeps me motivated. The only issue with the app is that I do not have an activity log on my app and my steps are undercounted by approximately 1,500-2,500 daily. I was told the activity logging isn't standard on Android yet and to contact them and request that they add it to my account. I'll update once I hear back from them.

Do not buy this band. the app stopped sysninc and the health details are inaccurate¹ . Compared to two other systems i'm using to eval uate the accuracy, I'm finding inconsistencies. Either way, service for my syncing issues have gone silent except for trying to sell me a new version. I purchased this band new in May 2026. absolutely not worth the money and unaccurate heath matrix don't help.

Unlike other similar apps, this one doesnt send out notifications if the battery is low, you have to log into the app to check. The battery life on the band only lasts 4 to 5 days top. It doesnt always track things accurately. Today my step and sleep only show data from yesterday but everything else shows a last date of today.

how do you undo the last upgrade... my hume app won't connect, it keeps crashing every time I open it. I've deleted, reinstalled, and made sure the app was updated. same thing with my Google play and phone system. I've changed the security settings and removed app sharing and that still did not work. I've been using it for almost 2 years and for the past week I haven't been able to do anything, it's really throwing me off.

It is scary how accurate this scale is when compared to a real Dexa scan, which I've had done before. I couldn't be happier with my device and this app. My journey doesn't work well, set it up about 5 times and it keeps going away, given up on that but it is irrelevant to me...just be forewarned.

I love the scale as well as the items it covers. The only reason why I didn't rate a 5 star is the app crashes a lot. Update 1/19/2025: The application still crashes and won't maintain connection to the scale. As well as the lack of customer service response to the issue. I've installed the update. update 8/4/26: Here we go again. after working fine the application is back to its usual....crashing everytime it opens. This is sad because this program has really help me get back in great shape.

Very comprehensive. The only reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is due to confusion, which Hume Band Mac Address is for two in the same home, and also having to dampen hands and feet in order to measure body composition. Also, there are no on or off buttons on either the scale of arm band, so it's a bit tricky to reset intentionally, and no identifying markings on either device for proper Bluetooth pairing procedure. When it works, it's fine, but spending 15 minutes measuring is a drag.

This last update is not working on my phone, either that or since I canceled my subscription & it ended. It won't stay open & this only happened a couple of days ago when my subscription was ending. I don't feel like I even get accurate readings unless I'm paying for it, which sucks. I see they are trying to make improvements, so 2 star for that. Honestly, way overpriced equipment for unreliable data. Especially now that I can't even see it.

Finally received new 2.0 band after months of frustration. Previous 1.0 band was replaced 3x due to being defective. Scale still failing to connect without manual connection. Though I have been promised a new scale. New 2.0 seemed great out of the box but after a nights sleep, no sleep tracked and no data available at all! I have had nothing but frustration w/ app and devices. I have cooperated with every troubleshooting request. I have contacted so often, they must know my name by now.

While this app and band have so much potential, it is very unreliable, especially in Android. I have had a band since December and it tracks NONE of my weekly gym activity sessions of 1+ hours each. This in turn reflects in the other statuses. AI continually tells me I'm not doing anything yet the other brand band and app I've worn for 2 decades records it all. Again, so much potential.

It has potential. I was prompted to come here because the app has a deceptive practice of not accepting reviews less than 5 stars -few people noted it -(error processing request) after typing all this. The app is a little hard to follow and finding item you saw previously is a challenge. I have pod and band 2.0. it gives inconsistent info in places and I struggle to know if I'm doing good or bad. Lots of potential, good trending. Doesn't log everything which is demotivating.

It was great, for about 30 days and then it stopped working. I would get errors and I didn't change the way I was standing on the scale. I took a chance after reading this happened to other users and sure enough, after about a month of use, the scale stops working. I checked to make it sure was fully charged and did all the suggestions to correct the error and still it won't read. UPDATE: this issue has resolved inexplicably

It keeps insisting that it will not save my weigh ins because it is not at 7:24 AM. I finally waited until 7:20 AM. It then said that the weigh in was complete. I then let go of tge bar. But, it turned out that it was not complete. I then picked up the bar, but missed some other measurements. It then said that measurements didn't work. So, I deleted the weigh in. I tried to initiate another weigh in, but it said that it was too soon for another weigh in. The app also failed to save my feedback

I liked the information provided, the app keeps resetting the "my journey" and milestones about every 3 days, so my journey is only about 3 days at a time. has been happening for over 2 months now. I have tried reaching out to Hume with no answers. also the scale reads a weight twice then a lower weight (about 3lbs) every time following during the same weigh-in. support is no help. I have tried the resetting procedure 3 times and continues the same.

calorie tracker is completely blocked behind paywall. the 'optimal weigh in' window is way too restrictive and it badgers you too much of you are not in the window. (my schedule is not dictated by this app). not integrating old Fitbit/Google health data like I was told would happen. No exercise tracking at all. calculations for body fat are horribly inaccurate (I definitely do not have less than 5% abdominal fat.). feedback links are broken. support is T1 reply useless

The Hume app doesn't support the ability to drill down into the data provided, so I am required to guess as to the reasons for any changes. The reading also don't usually change when I resynch the band, so it isn't clear how frequently readings are taken. Otherwise, Hume provides very useful information that seems consistent with my expectations.

Finally achieving measurable goals! I've tried numerous programs and supplements without means of knowing what was working other than how I "felt". With this system, I've been able to discover what was lacking in previous efforts. Most significantly, the importance of good sleep and hydration through the in app recommendations, not leaving it up to me to interpret a list of statistics. Had been worth every penny.

Functioned great until a Firmware Update to improve sleep monitoring was released. I downloaded and installed the firmware update for my Band 1.0 and after the update, my Band wouldn't connect and sync to the app. I followed the suggested steps to resolve my issue and none of them worked. The only partial solution I found was to uninstall the Hume App and reinstall it but this works only for a few hours.

The app is 'almost OK'... I was expecting to be able to export the data so that I could send the info to my medical providers for tracking my health issues. Unfortunately, the app will NOT allow me to export any data since I have the 2.0 band. Go figure. Other than that, it seems to be OK. I do wish that the readings would display the actural readings rather than 'dots' on the screen and an average... If you need to check your BP daily, you'll need to use a cuff in addition to the band.

I wear my band all the time and recharge every 3 days - once charged it goes back on. I relay this bc, lately my band doesn't have history of wear while sleeping. This data makes all other data useless. The band tells me it can't provide info until a few days are accumulated. This is bs. I've been wearing my band for almost a year and I get this message a plethora of times. Also, no way to read previous days to compare to current stats. Don't buy the band until the app or band is improved.

Features in the App are A+. However, a recent firmware update to my fairly new Hume Band has seemed to brick the device. The App will not let me forget the device to even attempt to reconnect. Hard reset, didn't work. Force stop App, didn't work. This is 2026 and we have Bluetooth connectivity issues? Bugs I can deal with. But in today's world we shouldn't have to deal with connection issues. Firmware update indeed

While I like the app, it does have bugs. No matter which arm or position I wear the band, it does not accurately record sleep. This latest update interfered with Bluetooth connection and wouldn't connect. I followed the troubleshooting guide, unpaired device, forced stopped the app; it didn't allow me option to pair, so wouldn't connect. I uninstalled app , signed back in and downloaded update again. Once again, no connectivity; uninstalled again and everything worked but didn't update.

the app, scale and band have been incredibly helpful in empowering me to completely recomp my body. there are glitches sometimes, like it will track less than an hour of sleep, which completely skews the rest of your metrics for a while. this is while the band is charged and fitted properly. when I reach out to customer service, they are quick to respond, which is nice.

Stay away from the band and it's a terrible band and app. I have had many which were cheaper that were much better. I can walk a half hour to an hour without it recording a single step, the band is snug, arm is swinging but no correlation to the app. Sleep tracking is alright but even with that you need to do a work around of force stopping and keeping the app closed for it to track your sleep correctly. My only hope to salvage my purchase is that the developers can make the app much better.

The food tracking doesn't work. it doesn't detect your weight lifting sessions and you can't manually enter them without a premium membership, but somehow the app doesn't give you the option to upgrade. And you need to use their scale. It doesn't sync with other brands. And even if you have high quality sleep that completely clears your stress levels, it counts you in cumulative sleep deprivation unless you get 8 hours a night. Totally illogical. Hume is the biggest stress in my life now.

The connect process between the scale and the app is not great. I've had to weigh 2-4 times to get a reading or sometimes it wouldn't connect. The reports go too fast and don't always stay readable. With the band alone I was told I'm in great health, with the scale I was told poor health, no calculated data has given me a clear trajectory to improve things. It also doesn't appear to actively recognize my fitness or heart events. (Walking, jogging, lifting, wake ups from apnea, etc.)

Inconsistent Tracking - Hume Band I only have the band. I bought it for tracking. It's terrible! I also am using a Garmin P8. The Garmin is very accurate and the Hume is at least 15% off. Even my phone in a pocket does a better job. It does not track workouts. Maybe if I pay for the upscale app features it would, but I get those from Garmin for free. Also, the sleep tracking is terrible! Often off by hours. I get daily reminders to track my weight... there is no feature to update your weight!

Very poor experience on Android. Examples: I would complete a weigh in and the app would immediately say 0/4 weekly weigh ins. I would get a push notification at 9:30am that says "almost time for bed." I even got a message that said "dont forget to weigh yourself today" while i was already standing on the scale. Its really poorly done and they want a $10/mo subscription. Garmin is much better. Updated 7/10/26 - App asks for feedback but doesn't accept less than 5 stars. Shady!

Stuff I've noticed over the years: The scale is 3lbs off and it's 3lbs high. I had this exact problem with their other scale. Only difference on this scale is you can't step on it 3-4 times to force it to give you your actual weight. The app has been rounding weights up lately. If the scale says 199.9, my app also should say 199.9, not 200. If it says 172.9 it should show 172.9 not 173. Outside of this, the app has been pretty solid and consistent.

I originally got this to track my weight loss journey and has been going great. I like how it tells me I'm detail everything I need to know and how to fix it. one setback is you really got to make sure the pad is fully charged and sometimes the you have to close the app and then reopen it so it can take your weight. otherwise a great product

wearable band and scale does not sync. it did for several months then it stopped. I have reset it several times unistalled the app and reinstalled it but nothing works. it just shows the data fron 2months agao. do not waste your hard earned money to buy the devices. Really disappointed that I took money away from my family to just get ripped off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM!!

Do Not buy this device! Do not install the app! The device is worthless unless you also buy the scale, which you will be relentlessly nagged about buying. If you subscribe to the app, you will not be able to cancel the subscription from the app. I attempted to return the device, the only way to do so is to send email, which will be ignored. I asked to cancel the app subscription and the response was they don't have one. this is a scam

I love that this scale reframes weight as a single data point within a bigger picture — body fat, lean muscle, bone density, basal metabolic rate — and shows how your lifestyle choices actually move those numbers over time. It's a huge upgrade from a traditional scale. My only gripes: syncing occasionally glitches and takes a couple tries, and the handle stopped self-retracting (though it hasn't affected data accuracy). Still exceeds my expectations overall.

The band and scale are a great concept, after using the scale for a year+ I decided to get the band too (despite the many negative reviews). After using the band for 3 weeks, I'm very disappointed. It rarely works/tracks my activity, the sleep tracking is so sensitive I rarely get accurate metrics, and I continue to receive conflicting instructions from customer support. Update: Received an email acknowledging that the app does not work consistently with Android devices.

Signed up for the "free" 30 day trial. Was immediately charged over $100. After several emails back and forth, it looks like I *might* get my money back 2 to 3 weeks after being charged. Total scam. No explanation as to why I was charged. I wonder if that's what they do--charge users who sign up for the trial and hope they won't jump through all the hoops to get their money back. The app doesn't sync well with my smart watch. The scale itself is "meh". DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Misleading marketing. Says there is a 30 day trial period, app charges you immediately and no refund is offered. Scale does not work over wifi, you have to have your phone paired and apparently open the whole time you are trying to weigh yourself. I got it to register my weight once successfully in more than a dozen attempts. App recommended my feet be slightly moist for a better read.

I regret buying the Hume band. I initially got it for sleep tracking. It does not tell me anything about the quality of sleep in any detail. You also have to pay $99 a year to get full access to your stats. My free trial didn't even work. The velcro gets weak within two months. You definitely cannot wear it in the shower. It only shows active minutes, not calories burned. The battery life is not good. You have to charge it every few days and there is no warning from the app. Do not recommend.

This band is inaccurate most days. It misses steps taken; walked around for 10 hours at Disney. Band recorded 5645 steps? It's definitely not accurate. The same goes for sleep. I've got a sleeping disorder and am lucky to get 4 hours a night. This band says I've slept for 8+. I might have been in bed for that long, but absolutely not asleep. I toss and turn a lot. Don't waste your money and go with Garmin or Fitbit instead. I've deleted the app and put the band away in storage.

At first, the scale and the app always had a problem weighing in for some reason that cleared up. Now I think it's the app store pops up at every weigh-in it's annoying. If possible, can you let me know how to stop that, or you all stop that trigger on your end? It would greatly be appreciated. Also, better descriptions of what the scales readings can be used for would likely give people an idea of the information that is presented to us.

The 30-day "free" trial walks you through the usual process of providing a payment method so it can continue after the trial ends. I am not a fan of not being able to interact with the graph on the apps. You cannot see exactly how many step you took each hour. You also can't go back and see how many steps you took each day or month. It just gives you an average. You cannot see a current heart rate, just a random one recorded twice or so an hour. The sleep tracker doesn't always record a full night. It will either be 2ish hours or the full night. I have reached out for a refund only to be given the run around so far

Sometimes I have to step on the pod/scale multiple times to get the app to capture. The first band wouldn't connect and it took about 1+ weeks to troubleshoot and they sent a new one which connected right away. The band doesn't always capture sleep correctly. I couldn't find anywhere in the user guide to wear the band unit on the inside of my wrist. After a few days the app told me. Nice to see fat vs muscle to understand weight shifts.

I regret buying this scale. It doesn't integrate with my current tracking apps, and the only way to link workouts and sleep is through an expensive band. I was impressed by the AI food scanner, until it added meals from previous days, making it seem I consumed 1200 calories before even getting out of bed. Also, I wasn't eligible for the app's free trial and ended up paying $10.80 for a subscription, which I regretted by the end of the first day. The scale and app subscription are not worth it.

Free trial is not a free trial. It advertises 30 days free but it auto selects annual. If you take the annual and try to cancel the free trial of premium is only on monthly. Doesn't do a good job of explaining that. Also, there are varying free trials, app offers one thing, company another then one offer I recieved is 45 day free trial. Which is over 30. Really weird. The band itself stopped tracking last night so it appears to be junk as well. This is one of my biggest regretted purchases.

Band gives lots of data that once you understand and research what it is saying is very helpful. Most frustrating thing is using the pod.. it won't complete the analysis every time and you have to step off and then back on. Doing this 5 times in the morning is time consuming and frustrating. It will get 3/4 of the way complete and then a red X appears which means start over. So far that is my only complaint.

some of the features of the paid portion are not available yet. I get it, it takes time to build these things, but dont make me pay for something I am not going to get. the metrics are a little overwhelming at first, but kind of neat to see. however, the band, the scale the fully paid app, didnt really tell me anything new, I know im fat and dont exercise enough. this is not a program to provide new perspective or insights.

Problems from the start, couldn't cancel after I ordered at night, told I could reject delivery, but it was dropped off, decided to try and use it for some personalized coaching, can't find that in the app. Over priced, when I tried to return it I was offered a 20% refund and 3 months of the plus program. I had to chase support on the refund. I can't see any difference in the free version from the plus I got 'upgraded' to. No workout coaching, just tracks and tracks different from my smart watch

Everyday before weigh in, i have to go into settings to reconnect. The weight is not consistent, I can step on get one number, step off and back on and get a 5 lb difference . Very frustrating. The band has been amazing as far as I know. The app itself is decent. wished it some categories it would explain how to improve.

I think Hume health is awesome. I enjoy the information and feedback that I get from the data on the app. I think the devices are pretty cool. I would give five stars but unfortunately the band that holds the device on your arm sucks. It needs to be improved. The elastic is not conducive to the workouts that I do and I have to continuously tighten the band throughout the day because it starts to slip off. currently it's got a huge length of elastic band because it's all stretched out.

Health Assessment needs work. while the scale does ok tracking weight, body composition changes too much from day to day. The weight at which leg muscle mass is considered low changes daily. It doesn't consistently or accurately import data from my tracker through Google Connect. This makes the health assessment report worthless. Nevertheless I still get a better idea of the trends in muscle mass and body fat that I didn't have before. I just recognize it isn't the 98% accuracy advertised

Such a HUGE disappointment. I upgraded from the free app for the nutrition data/meal pic upload option. Turns out, the function is not actually available. Can you say "bait and switch"? The milestones creation page doesn't work. The band has not tracked more than 38 steps despite me being on my feet all day. I ordered the Band and Body Pod together and didn't get the BP. Customer service can't tell me when it will ship. For the $$$ spent, this is completely unacceptable.
