Can't log in have give up with it

absolute rubbish cannot register as something always goes wrong after 7 attempts gave up you need to get this sorted

It's been at least 2 years since I tried to register an account on this stupid app, whilst inside the Brindley Farm premises. At the time the staff member said there was an issue with registrations. Today, still cannot register an account. Beyond frustrating....

only use this app Saturday lunch time.

Absolutely rubbish. Keeps saying success then not valid. Tried numerous times. Its a mess.

App keeps crashing. It doesn't go to the correct screen when you select it. Ordered a 2 pinter Birra Moretti, but they served it in 2 separate pint glasses instead of 1 2-pint glass because of Scotland laws. Don't offer what you can't provide

The app was working well but when trying it yesterday (September 2024) it's saying I needed to upgrade Android. My phone is already on the latest version of Android and no further updates are possible. I left feedback for this and Greene King responded by making it available again for an older version of Android. Fantastic service. I've edited my original review to reflect this and updated it to 5 stars from the original 1 star.

After lots of problems with this update I finally found that Aloha browser prevents the login and registration procedures. switching the default browser to chrome sorted my problems.

The app is no good they have taken the football score predictions away . And the discount away .

App experience is terrible. Couldn't download it, finally got on wifi after signing up then had to sign up for an account on top. Spin the wheel discount didn't credit the voucher to my rewards after all. Expensive for what's basically just a pub experience too - 7.25 for a session IPA? I nearly died. I'll stick to Robinson's or J.W. Lees in future. they're cheaper and better anyway. edit - I could see the rewards section - my reward wasn't credit!

app doesn't work on android 17 UI 9.0. it let's you log in and find your pub but select the pub and it just shows you the map again. gets stuck in a loop. uninstalled and reinstalled and same thing happens. clearly there's a bug with the app. samsung s26 ultra ui 9.0 android version 17

spin to win scam. Signed up, won free dessert says "it's in your rewards" and it's not, only a "half price drink" voucher as the "spin to win". absolute scam

Doesn't work. Won't let me log into a newly made account. Pretty embarrassing given how the staff keep pushing clients to install it.

asked for an app update and now wont let log back in or make a new account as it says make a new one if we had an old account, have contacted app cs for help after uninstalling, clearin cache all basic things first i cant access my account or rewards if i had any

This app is only convenient if you don’t need to change or substitute some of the items on the food menu.

Don't bother ordering on the app, takes ages for your drinks to come

Awful user interface. I ended up going old school and going to the bar to order.

when trying to create an account to use the app I get the error message "We couldn't verify this email address. Please try a different email address or contact support if you believe this is an error". The email is correct but the 'Support' link doesn't have an option for app support! So never got to try the app.

Had to update the app and now re register, but unable to register,keeps telling me there's a problem and to retry. Rubbish.

Terrible experience. Simply impossible to log in. Goes round in circles and eventually just gives a tiny 404 message. Maybe I'll just go to spoons instead.

Terrible, can't even make an account and then when I re tried it, it told me I couldn't login to the account ive just made because of security monitoring.

I have downloaded the latest version of the app, but the only screen i get in the app is to download the latest version of the app. It becomes an endless circle.

Tried to register to set up an account. After entering my email address, the verification widget keeps spinning. After several attempts, I've just given up. Greene King won't be getting many registrations with such a poor app.

Took money, didn't put order through took a while to convince staff the app was the issue and get the order. Won't use again.

I tried to log in and found I couldn't. I have tried reregistering my account again and tried changing my password, and I'm ending up in a continuous loop: 1: Verification Code 2: Register Details 3: Something wenr wrong, try again! This loop continues constantly since trying to log in or reregister. I also can't find any contact details for Customer Service? I will update my rating if GK can assist me with this? Thanks, Matt

score king app was so much better, I now click on the score king feature and it does not appear, just goes to rewards which I have none. Used to watch all the football in there! such a pointless app for sports fans.

Rubbish App. Convoluted access. Pretty sure it's mainly to get data from you for marketing purposes. God knows who they sell it to.

The app isn't very user friendly, it isn't easy to find what you are looking for. Also, if you have a free meal offer and try to order from the app you may not get the full amount of the meal taken off the bill. This is because the Mon - Fri day-time menu has 2 mains for a fixed price which confuses the app as to whether you are odering the deal or the regular Mains menu. I had to order at the bar to get the free meal.

I have used this app for ages, suddenly I can't log in. I have changed my password numerous times, uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I contacted customer service who asked me for my id- to be found in the rewards tab. Yeah great, I can't get there...then they tell me they can see I have an account, and to log in using the log in tab. Totally useless. Is it AI? They certainly don't answer the question I asked

The 10% Sports offer on drinks isn't showing on my app, partner has the same app, we have the same set up and he has a lot older phone and his does. Guess he's buying the drinks from now on, frustrating it doe sn't work on mine, app up to date

It is hopeless... tried different emails... tried uninstalling.... now, whether you select login or register, it just loops back to the same screen. Waste of time.

the app won't open at all on Samsung galaxy s26 ultra it tells me I'm not connected to the Internet even though I'm connected to my secure full fibre broadband and ee 4g network. even your website won't work on Google.

I dont say this lightly, but I'm actually very impressed how good this app is.

The app works well for the most part, showing wait times and availability so it's disappointing that having ordered everything online I had to go to the bar to buy a guest ale.

Rubbish functionality, it I don't let it use my location and I search for the pub instead, it won't let me open the pub location I am trying to use and then it gets stuck and won't let me go back either, it just keeps refreshing the same 'search for location' page until I close it and start again then allow it to access my location. Terrible design.

The app should have the new parking system on it. If you insist on having people register their cars on arrival at the bar then option should be available on the app. 2 pubs in Scunthorpe now have this parking system now, Ashby Lodge and The Queensway. I only use app. Now I have to physically stand at the bar. Not easy for me as I have a disability and cannot stand for long. So put parking system on this app as people like myself will start to avoid these places because of it.😡

The original Sports app worked great with deals and discounts and one could see what sport was on tv etc. This new app is pathetic. No deals and discounts. Absolutely useless. Probably won't be visiting my local Greene King pub much now

Way too much work to just order food. I've used other similar apps in other places that are far easier. Just order at the bar.

not a great app. says food is out of stock when it isn't, trying to order a mixed grill on a Sunday is impossible without going to the bar. every time I try to order food over the app I end up having to go to the bar....

Bad experience, app crashing going through the menu of a pub. Made an order for a pub in London, ended up as an order for a pub in Aberdeen, with no way to call someone or cancel the order. Then while trying again to place an order in the pub in London it said that the orders through the app were temporary off because of a high number of orders, the pub was literally half empty.

Great way to order and pay at the pub.

wait times are very inaccurate, misleading, if I knew the real wait time I wouldn't order so key pp feature is poor, search is hard also and if you sit outside and use the app, you still have to go inside to get cutlery near the bar so might as well not use the app and order normally

Wow, I've just logged in - result ! After literally months of faffing about with passwords, security codes and 2 separate accounts, I'm in - so I can finally receive offers & play spin to win (as the many emails keep inviting me to). But no - ALL the offers have expired & there is no spin to win. I'm really pleased I bothered with this, thanks Greene King.

Usually very convenient, but on two occasions I have found that the menu on the app does not match the menu actually in the pub.

wouldn't let me connect and told me to contact customer service. when you go to complete the form, it asks you about the restaurant you visited etc. Nothing regarding customer service and the app

No ability to add extras to pizzas on the new app despite this being an option. Would also be good to add small amendments for food order on the app to remove items from food rather than having to request this at the bar.

Used to be a brilliant app with loads of discounts and offers. This update is awful, they've completely ruined it, offers, games and loyalty schemes are absolutely terrible. It's not really worth eating or drinking here anymore. Hope they make some changes soon.

Bring back table service waiters. Wanted beans with scampi for example, but no option to input this on the app as it is very basic. Second example it says on the menu "swap chips for salad" with your Hunters Chicken. but there is no option on the app. So had to make a trip to the bar anyway.

Poor boring not a patch on old app, no competition or variety of games anymore and offers at times and days when I can't use them, meaning I no longer go as much, more lost custom.

Easy to order drinks But the world sticker stacker more like a con. Everytime I order, always more like free mixer, or free draws but not like free drinks, free main, or 20% off. I'm not interested prize draws,only free drinks or 20% off.

Used to be good but I can't log in. Changed password etc, no good. Even tried setting up a new account with a different email address, got forwarded to a blank page with Not Found at the top, the to Google play store! Order as a guest instead, Payment went through, app hung, no order received at the bar, but money came out of my account. I know the whole system crashed a couple of weeks ago, but it's far from fixed. Sort it out Greene King!

The same as others have experienced, I can no longer log into this app. Requires an update. .. Edit following reply: If many people are complaining about the same thing, it's simple, the app needs looking at, it's not the users, so no need for users to send an e-mail !!

used order and pay for about five years with this app. Recently if you try and pay with Google Pay doesn't let you select debit cards only credit cards so no go for me. they have combined two apps into one which makes sense as don't need two separate apps for Greene King. Use to be long winded copying discount code from other app then pasting in this one, so that's a plus. just need to be to getting payment system working. get free drinks and discounts with it as well

Awful app. don't work. I registered and sent me an email to say i am now in, but on the app it denies access for some bizarre security reason. Ive never had any issues with your competitors apps, they have registered and worked immediately. Get it sorted. as this puts off new customers. having to ring your customer relations which is only open in the week. absolutely useless. dare say probably wont recommend Green king to friends.

I ordered a drink, waited over 20 minutes, used the app as I had the dog with me outside. Completely pointless, they didn't know about the order until I went inside, I had to tie the dog up and go inside to resolve. The app even let me order a drink they didn't have in stock, so I'm going to uninstall if it's this unreliable.

It never works so I've stopped using it, it's constantly taking you back to the main screen when trying to pay only for the transaction to go through on PayPal finally but not go through Greene King...this is the second time I've had to wait for my money to go back into the account and the first time it didn't so had to phone the venue to sort it...rubbish app...

Downloaded, ordered a remote delivery drink, over half an hour later no sight of it, had to flag down a waitress who very kindly poured me the drink and confirmed I had completed the ordering process correctly

Wow, new thing with sports app integration. My 10% has expired, others have got 15% for sports my app ... has nothing. Keep the original sports app this looks like it's going to be a nightmare!

absolutely shocking app , crashes every time I open it , or change something and has on 2 occasions charge me twice for the same meal , with a message saying something had gone wrong , go on my bank to discover it had taken the money twice. total scam of an app

Update Back to five stars. Problem sorted within an hour. Thank you GK Update. Back to one star. Been kicked out of the app again for no reason. Update. Now five stars, GK were quick to respond and sort my problem out. App now works fine. Thank you.

DON'T USE THE PAYPAL OPTION, THEY KNOW IT DOESN'T WORK. I recently ordered food and used PayPal option, payment went through but the order did not. The staff said "oh yes, that does happen, we have had this before". They said there is nothing they can do, if you want food you will have to pay again using a card. Why offer an option that is going to cause the customer such huge inconvenience?!

Very good meals affordable drinks

There is an intermittent fault with app when I doesn't recognise the presents of "Playstore" even after reinstalling & also the amount of eMails needs to be reduced, I had 5 yesterday, otherwise is it an app with great potential, I will uninstall if the fault & eMails get too annoying.

Very disappointed Visited Tamar inn in Plymouth, the main menu was very limited, no pies, no tartar sauce, only one dessert available.

Location services use is good, tells me which pub I'm at to order. Very pushy to create an account but does allow guest checkout eventually. Very menu divey with minimal search support, and menus unfortunately designed by a lunatic - to order a starter of garlic mushrooms, for example, you open the Mains menu and then navigate to Nibbles then scroll, scroll, scroll... click. App demands a table number to order, which waitstaff then ignore. The food is great, app is ... 3/5, shall we say.

The app is fairly good but on ordering from the Sunday roast menu I'm unable to find how to add any extras to the meal, am I missing something or is the option not available?
