I,ve found this very suspicious that no were on all known smart tv shows any actual app for this Google like all other known device's show up with a app that you can see and open up so where is the actual app for this Google application because no were on this device is there any app at all were in the heck is the open Google web browser this is just utterly ridiculous when it is a Google app and Google Android operating system and you can't even go directly to Google web browser using this app or this entire TVs I don't trust any of these other fake web browser apps on this play store why isn't there any open button like all other apps

I remember using Google on this TV it's a Google TV but I don't think I liked how it work but I can't even find the app now it says it's installed and I can't even find it what a deal. I find the app by doing a search for it, but all it allows me to do is uninstall it. When I do then all I can do is update it. If it's uninstalled, how can it be updated. So I do it and I get back to where I started.

I always go to app Google one app and press the microphone icon and tell it what I'm searching for it has never failed me I highly recommend it.

device.state.MediaState not supported in Google home automation script editor although it was previously working on my shield tv. no changes on my side since it last worked so feel that the issue is on your side. please fix as other device states are not working IE onoff etc

I hate the way it exits whatever app you are using if you just get up and go somewhere for a couple of minutesplus well viewing a preview of a movie the screen will go dim and then it starts to go brighter again right when you're leaving the previewI also hate the way you're looking at something and then after a couple of minutes it tries to sell you a movie I tried some other TV systems and they're even worseso I guess Google is the best. oh well

I have to admit I was skeptical at first but my TCL Google TV is the best thing that happened to streaming television entertainment. Not only streaming but it's also great for arranging your favorite broadcast channels right with your favorite Live Free Google TV Channels all in the same spot. I'm serious try it out, you'll never want to go back to your old cluttered clunky mess. Sure Roku is fast, but Google is bypassing it in speed and content. Gemini tends to tell you what you didn't even think of watching and it's almost always something that surprises you and you would really like to see. Gemini (or Google, whichever you prefer) actually works.

Google tv randomly reboots during streaming. ESPN app is always jittery and laggy during sports. Apple TV sports is fine. OTA channel and guide very laggy. Previous Roku based tv had none of these issues.

App so slow after each update made even if you restart TV device & optimize/clean cache. Please include "slow use issue" fix of this Google tv app soon in future updates. Hope for your swift resolution & feedback soon thanks.

whenever i am not using my tv and if its on the google ad or the google assistant ad would suddenly appear and its kinda irritating before updating google this was not the issue my TV used to go on sleep mode if not in use.......but now its so frustrating

No build in web browser for it, errors in the screenshot as same thing changes, no search box on as the screenshot is misleading information, Google TV has retired (app only) and other Google apps have retired and Non Google apps have retired too are still in the Android Store aka Google play store and Google YouTube has music Channel and Podcast Channel in Google YouTube Family with kids Channel and more than the Past of it. Still waiting for Google YouTube TV service in The International Areas as it is only in USA.

The main issue with with the app is because there is existing four apps Google TV Google home Android TV play etc etc so what happens is all this apps are conflicting on my Chromecast TV or maybe Google history I even don't know and the app is terrible

each and every app is a crashing and the Google home screen page is blinking when we are using the TV via HDMI that is the setup box connected by HDMI that time the tv is working fine but when we are using Google TV the screen is a blinking the GoogleTV software is worst nowadays .I look forward for a fix for this .very disappointed on a Sony Tv.

yes, a beautifully well crafted application it's just a shame I'm using a cheap smart TV that is just too slow and isn't powerful enough to use these apps as intended. (SHARP LED HDTV 32FH2KA) if interested. Hopefully I'll be in the position to buy a better more powerful TV at some point and will donate this one to another family who struggles like myself. I love it that the fact this is a really useful product. I mean yeah sure it has his problems but, it doesn't really warrant all these lower scores that you are seeing here. pictures those approved at how inept people are about technology, expecting something else to try to *hot fix* user error.

App doesn't look like that in your description for Chromecast built-in users. Also app doesn't sync my extensions in Google Canary in Windows 11. Bard is also not connected like on my computer. Also the Apple music audio quality is extremely low quality using Google Assistant. Google LLC seems also forgot implement m4a support and YouTube premium users can't share downloads in home network. Everything is super simple coded. Same as an ATM in India.

The Google app on Android TV does not open websites like it does on a Android phone. Search is limited. It would be good to upgrade the app like it is on an Android phone and have the same or similar features.

it doesn't work ! Since new update, stuck in a loop and keeps repeating the introduction and set-up video. When it gets to the end of the video, it says press microphone to get started, it just restarts the introduction and set-up. Auto download is disabled on my TV except for software updates. I will not install a streaming App update that I don't pay for to watch. The only App updates I'll install are the system & Google updates that keep my TV running great & this isn't one of them. It offers many movies on Apps that I wouldn't install on my TV. I disabled Google Assistant as I don't want to be spied on. I am intelligent enough & can navigate my TV to find my own answers w/o asking Google's Mata Hari's idiot box.

Very, very disappointed! It is listed as already installed on my Xiaomi Mi TV P1 (55 inches, Android 10), but there is not any option to launch it. I wrote an E-mail to Xiaomi and still waiting for their answer.

Latest update (2021) ruined my ShieldTV by shoving ads at me for services that I don't even have installed. I'd moved from a FireTV to the Shield precisely to avoid this but that didn't work out.

Took a perfectly reasonable app and used it as yet another vector to push ads in my face on a device I paid a fair amount of money for. Stop this behavior and fix your overstep, or lose many, many customers.

In there greed to force as manty ads on us as possible I will be using a different launcher so I never see their ads again. If they had of kept them small and not using to top quarter of my screen I would probably would of been ok with them. YOUR LOSS!

I bought my Shield and Google TV to be able to stream the services I opt into. I didn't buy it to splash advertising on my TVs. Nor did I buy it to be reminded of which holidays and "months" Google decides I should know about. I own a calendar.

After the last update, Google Assistant completely stopped working on both of my TVs and permanently says Google Assistant is unavailable. TVs are Skyworth 55SUC9300 and Skyworth 65SUC9300 Please can this be rectified as these are the newest models available so it makes no sense that an update breaks functionality.

After last update my android TV's assistant stopped working normally with languages other than English. When I asked "what the weather is", instead of showing the weather, the assistant suggests watching a video from YouTube over the past year about the weather.(( and e.t.c. I had to roll back to the previous version there everything works as before ok.
