My only social media app... mostly unusable. There are 3 tabs: explore, following and breaking. Now, where would you go to see posted info? Nope! Not those... you'd go to notifications then under a totally separate tab to see "post" !? Why? It's stupid. It's so clumsy it renders useless.

I generally like the app, but for the past several months now, whenever I try to open anything from Gateway Pundit, it blanks out. This doesn't happen anywhere else except on Gettr

A solid 3★. I just joined. The app is easy to use. However, there's a screenshot in my photo album that's not mine. I didn't load it. Also, when I attempt to load a picture, it takes me to settings. Everything looks ok there. It's simply refusing to be usable. Hopefully, this will alert the software writers to correct the situation. All in all, this app stands to become great if they don't start charging for features that are currently free. MeWe has begun to do that & is now in decline.

I might give this a 5 star when I can eventually log back in. I did log in but was given a random account that hasn't even posted and I had never heard of, even though I tried to log in with my username and my password. Phone number didn't work as I didn't receive sms.

poor customer service. I can't sign into my account and customer service is not responding to emails. if I click forgot password and enter my email address it creates a new account. I deleted the new account and tried it again and it made another account again. my old account that I was originally trying to log into is still publicly visible, but I can't log into it.

Unbelievably stupid, incompetent design ! 🔴 External links don't work - "unknown URL scheme" 🔴 Does not respect the users choices - it transmits data to Facebook analytics servers when the app was not launched, notifications are disabled, battery & background traffic are restricted in settings. 🔴 No change log / release notes.

After a lengthy (a year) time away from GETTR, I installed it once more. But now I see, I think, you can write posts, but they will not be 'posted' unless you pay a 'subscription fee'??!! Last time I was on GETTR, it didn't cost you to make a post! I'll wait, if it's true, then I'll uninstall. Yes, uninstalled because GETTR now makes you pay a subscription fee to post. Again, same in 2026. You have to pay to post comments.

This site has a problem working properly. notification messages appear with a certain multiple number,go to Check the new announced messages and there Are none, only the same ones which have already been Read, several times in a row repeatedly. also has an issue with spam/hackers who keep reappearing even after being Blocked. Also exposes if a user needed to Edit a post, unnecessarily letting everyone Else know you corrected a post as if to Shame you 😔

Functions pretty well, it allows downloading any media without watermark, copying texts from the posts is easy and quick, the only things I think that could improve is the fact that there's no way to check someone's posts from oldest to newest or something that makes it easier to check older posts, also there's no way to receive notification from someone's new post, even though it's enabled to do so. I'm pretty sure that on PC now the video download feature is available

Dumb app. Every time it updates it wants you to log back in and won't recognize your password nor let you change your password. It just blinks when you type the exact verification code sent to you. Trash it. The app was good during COVID but not now because it must have been hijacked.

Support is nonexistent! I have been using this app since 2021. Never had an issue when an update app came up. I received a prompt for an updated version, and when I pressed to update, it came with an error message. I decided to delete the app and relog on, and it wouldn't take any of my information. Here,it is about 2 weeks later, and the so-called support" they offer has yet to help correct the issue. they keep sending me s me instructions that DO NOT WORK! So I deleted the App!

Highly functional.

I've gone from 5 stars when it first came out, to 3 stars, now down to 1. riddled with bots, every update, which they think should be on a weekly basis 🙄 only screws up something else. you've got free speech and enough characters to get point across. but that's it. you can't see anything you're typing ( thx to an update), block about 30 bots DAILY, and " trending " news is about 2 days old, and had maybe 3 likes or reposts🙄. and last but not least, support is now NONEXISTENT

For an app and a platform that is supposedly all about freedom, I find it interesting that it refuses to run on a rooted device. The whole point of rooting a device is to gain freedom and yet this app seems to have a problem with that. I wonder what's really going on behind the scenes here? SO BE WARNED! I have been using Gettr for about 6 months now. and have found it to be very easy to use, intuitive, and stable. The developers update the app with bug fixes and improvements on a regular basis, and the Help team are quick and responsive. The app could use an edit button to fix errors on posts. The membership is growing fast, and internationally as well. Highly recommended for conservative-minded folks who seek not to be censored for their mainstream views. update 3/25: Regular updates! 👍👍👍

After an update, app no longer shows new likes or comments. It shows a number for new likes but when I click on it there's no new like recorded. Glitch? Malfunction? GRR

I DESPISE the new built-in browser that GETTR now forces you to use to view external links. Bring back capability to use a real, external browser.

Since the last update I can no longer access comments made by other users. This negates any interactivity of the app. It basically removes 99 percent of the purpose of the app for me.

It keeps wanting me to update then takes me to Google play. I can't update it.
