First time ordering Door Dash

Being a part of Seniors with limited capabilities and no vehicle, DoorDash is a big help! Plus we can order from basically any store or restaurant in town including many services. Most of the dashers are "dashing", friendly folks too. I have some regular favourites who go the extra mile such as Dasher Ronak who saved the day for me as many items at a store were out of stock. Yet by using the chat feature that DoorDash provides, Ronak saved the day.

Always been a bad delivery service. It's overpriced. The dashers are rude and deserve $0 tips when they constantly give bad service. Doordash fees are extremely high. Doordash already takes from dashers pay, but they also charge a service fee and a delivery fee. Those 50% of the order price goes to door dash. $30 for a burger and fry or a pizza delivery is absolutely insane, especially when the base total is $10.

absolutely horrible app. I've been using off and on for a year, trying to be hopeful and give it the benefit of the doubt. however service is ridiculous and customer service is not helpful. paying tax, 10$ for service fees and then another expected 5-10$ top when the delivery takes 1-1.5hrs. I have had multiple deliveries past this timeline and nothing was done, I've watched dashers spend 30m at a residence while in the process of my order. my last order I waited an hour for and they cancelled.

My priority order took 45 minutes because the driver stopped at Starbucks on the way. I got it 45 minutes later from 2 miles away cold, and Doordash refuses to do anything about it. I had to throw out the food and I'm out $30-$40. Use Uber Eats, because that is ridiculous.

food was delivered an hour later due to dasher canceling and second dasher made several stops before dropping off my food so my food was super cold

ordered food-scheduled for my lunch time. went to lunch realized i accidentally somehow sent it to my house. my fault, texted my kid to let him know of his surprise food delivered, reordered to be delivered to my job. driver ignored my clear instructions to drop it at the desk behind registers. left it outside on the cold ground right next to a trashcan. order was wrong and cold. came home found out my kid didnt get food because my original order never got dropped off. twice, 2 towns, 2 drivers

I'd give a zero if it were possible. Do not use Dash Pass. I was prompted to spend $2.45 in order to save with dash pass. I did so and the total came out to be over $4 more than the original price. they simply moved numbers around on the order summary and claimed that I was saving $2.99. Should be illegal.

So, after posting a 2 star review due to there really bad service, I am now going to get rid of dash pass and delete the app, I would recommend others due the same, too many issues. not sure if it's just my town or what but I would go a different route than doordash.

Really good pizza here!! They are very quick - always very friendly - and ALWAYS very busy. Once in a Blue Moon, they make a mistake, but are quick to make up for it. This is definitely a must try place!! We have pizza from here at least once a week!

Absolutely horrible! never even get my orders!

never got an order and there was no photo reference to where the order could have been dropped off. Reimbursement is only 20% of what I have ordered. Walking half an hour to the place and ordering it by myself sounds more worth than this.

they don't link ur account to your account with apps for rewards and easier ordering even if u pay for premium so if u use the app for McDonald's for delivery you have to pay for fees and membership from the same people who do the delivery like this some kinda scam

awful service. Their whole job is to deliver the correct order in a timely manner. In the last few years, neither of those things are accomplished. you can expect one, but not the other, certainly not both, and most of the time neither. and if you complain about it over and over, they start giving you less and less credit or refund back because they think you're scamming them. you have to FIGHT to get a refund even if you never received the product, good, or food. deleting app after 4 years.

Shyster operation: over-charges your credit card for erroneous duplicate orders and does not permit rightful removal of your credit card details from their shyster app! Door dash RIP-OFF!!!!

I've always had problems with getting food in my area, and yes it is usually the restaurants fault. however, when ordering $50 worth of food and the driver grabs the wrong bay because he wasn't paying attention to the last name initial, bringing you about $15 worth of food, you would expect that DoorDash would be like, "Our bad, let's get that resent to you." nope, autodenial on both redelivery, and refund. I ended up filing a consumer complaint, and reversed charge thru my bank.

These guys overcharge customers and underpay drivers and are now attempting to become a monopoly by buying instacart. If you're ordering pickup or delivery, use the restaurant's own website.

needs a lot of work. a bunch of orders I've done either don't come in at all or on time. doordash doesn't always give you a refund when items are missing destroyed in transit. it's also impossible to change the address of the place you want to order from I'm trying to order from the other side of the state in doordash doesn't let me cuz I'm too far away and I can only change an address for delivery pickups not an option

TrashDash support agents don't get paid enough to care. I'm either constantly dealing with an incompetent AI pretending to be a human, or it's some poor bastard that doesn't know how to do anything other than copy and paste something that doesn't help whatsoever. There's no way to contact tech support that I know of, it isn't in the dasher app, so there's no way of fixing offer notifications in my account. #TrashDash fix my notifications so everyone can get what the want.

door dash are thieves. I paid 120 dollars for food and when I don't get it delivered to me I get denied a refund. don't use door dash. make this company go down in flames. evil company ruining our society.

the UI is th3 absolute worst. they removed the dashpass filter and the miles to trick you! everyones poor because they're using services like this! doordash raised EVERY ITEM by $2+ so now it costs double what it does if you pick it up. doordash now refunds LESS THAN THE MISSING FOOD ITEMS, don't account for the taxes, tip, etc so were paying to not deliver our products. never using again.

Worst company ever. Ordered a pizza and they took their sweet time picking it up. When they did, they went the complete opposite direction. I understand having more than one pick up, but they were in the same neighborhood and then turned the opposite ditection, left the neighborhood and went clear across town to finish another drop off before coming back to deliver my order. My pizza should not be room temperature when it arrives.

Worst Service to Exist. Every time I've ordered, I get a driver that doesn't know how to read or answer their calls or texts and delivers a completely different order. I wish businesses would stop using DoorDash already.

Honestly, I keep saying I'm going to stop ordering because at this point, it feels like y'all just send anything and expect customers to accept it. But this time, I really mean it. We spend our hard-earned money ordering from y'all, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same quality, care, and customer service we would receive if we walked into the store ourselves. Ordering online shouldn't mean we're treated any differently or given less consideration.

More times then not, I dont get the correct things that I order. But I dont not currently have a license so when I have the means to eat I get doordash. Which makes it even more frustrating.

I ordered benihana and recieved bug eggs in my food after not receiving my salads and after stringing me along for 6 days, speaking to 13 different people asking for support, being promised a refund or a credit by multiple people, they said theyre refusing to refund me a 50 dollar order I couldn't eat. Uber has a better track record for support actually assisting you imo. Id strongly suggest avoiding doordash.

If I could give 0 Stars I would because when you order stuff and some of the stuff is missing they will refuse to give you credit so you can reorder it or return your money and that is stealing. This company is nothing but thieves and should be put out of business. I will be filing a police report for theft and will never use your service again

Overall, they provide way better customer service than UberEats They are willing to work with you should you have an issue with your order. However, customers are being double-charged for the fees. The restaurants raise their prices on the app to cover the steep admin fees charged by Doordash and this gets passed down to the customer on every order (example if your sandwich normally cost $5, it will be $7 on the app). AND we are charged a service fee when checking out as well. Double whammy! 😡

Doordash has messed up several orders in my time using the service. The most positive experience I had was speaking with Patrick in customer service who processed my last order refund quickly and professionally.

It's ok although lately it hasn't been loading right. It's also has pretty pricey delivery fees and restaurants are always being taken off the app. Sometimes they agree to an order and then cancel it after they have supposedly already picked it up. You can try to reorder the food, but you'll be waiting a long time to eat. They dont refund you if your grocery order is less than what they charged you for.

There are often issues depending on the driver. Now the in-app support is nearly useless and will lie. Recently had an issue with an order and the in-app support gave me the option of cancelling my order and receiving a refund in the form of DoorDash credits. I agreed to this. The order was cancelled for me, but I never received a refund. I reached back out about this and was told it was impossible to receive a refund at that point. So I was blatantly lied to and essentially stolen from

DON'T DOWNLOAD!! I ordered food, received none of it, instead received something i DIDN'T order. Tried to get the issue resolved, doordash wouldn't do it and refused a refund, tried to call didn't work. So i ended up just deleting my account and switching over to uber eats cause this is ridiculous and frustrating. 38$ gone, down the drain that I CAN'T get back.

this app has become unusable..we have been using DD for a decade but it has become unusable. I log in and now can't even find food options. I am inundated with gift cards, floral arrangements, and big retail brands. at least give me a filter to get to all the local restaurants so I can browse. I get wanting to make more money, but the design really needs to change

Better off to pick up order or try another app. The app keeps changing the dasher and when settled with one, they had to go drop off another order before mine, they were also not far from me, but it reloaded and made a longer route that was completely irrational. I'm adding to my review from years ago. The app now charges additional fees and the orders are taking longer to prepare and deliver. I had panda express ordered and it took nearly an hour to get. Do. not recommend

it's ok but I have some serious issues with the way it operates. 1) if we coupon expires on the 1st that usually means it's usable until the END of the 1st, not expiring at 12:01 that morning. 2) the monthly quests don't properly register when you've completed them. 3) you don't need to charge a separate service and delivery fee, you already up charge the food and delivery to get note money, and the stores fees are already built into their pricing

If you have a disability or can't drive our just have a situation where ordering is easier? DD has a way of convincing you that you may as well pay for the membership, otherwise things will be way more expensive than finding a way to get yourself. I don't actually have a problem with that. its called business. Time zone needs correcting, almost scheduled my dinner order an hour late as it's using MDT but I am in Edmonton AB and we are now on "Alberta Time". I don't blame Doordash honestly, our Premier is insane and ignores the majority on a daily basis; but my phone settings are correct, I know the store I ordered from is also on "Alberta Time", Doordash app is the only one incorrect here.

convenient, but if there is an issue, in my experience (happened twice) it's the customers problem not doordash or the restaurants. so, I deleted my account and removed the app. no more excuses from either. problem solved. edit.... the second time they did end up sending the corrected order out after I deleted. still won't go through this again. I tipped twice for one order, two different drivers.... it's not the drivers fault and I'm not going to short them no confirmation that a tip included.

This app updated when I didn't know I had updates enabled by accident, and now it is absolutely horrible. bring back the map, delivery/pickup button, and list of all stores! there are a ton of stores you are blocking from getting business this way! App is horrible and I won't be able to use it now. Bring back the old layout.

Wow someone made an app so you can pay for overpriced food to show up to your door cold if it even shows up at all? My dasher delivered half of my order and is sitting in his car right now eating the other half. my refund is in 2 weeks. no room to complain about it, Doordash doesn't care!
