The accountability is entirely one-directional. You're late by a minute? Consequences. Decline a ridiculous 20-mile offer for $10.25? AR takes a hit. Fail to complete an order? Consequences. Their app fails to display essential order information? Apparently, tough luck. Their software costs you an earning opportunity? Your problem. They've built a system where the driver is accountable for everything, but the platform is accountable for practically nothing.

guess I'm no longer a "pro shopper". I was sent to get too many out of stock items and had to get substitutes instead. these metrics were designed by morons.

need to get a min $ per mile setting for the drivers protection. with the way offers have been recently this is becoming more and more required or doordash needs to start paying based on offer milage. as someone that maintained a 75+% ar while maintaining my minimum then in less than 3 months had to burn 5...thats right 5 platinum passes..there is definitely a problem that needs to be addressed. all the law suit make alot of since. they need to start doing better for the drivers!!

I've been a loyal DoorDash customer for 2 years, ordering almost daily & spending significant money. I'm extremely disappointed that I'm being denied a refund for $40 in missing items because of my refund history. Those previous refunds were due to Dashers' mistakes, not mine! Why am I being penalized for delivery errors I didn't cause? I paid for items I never received. Customer loyalty should mean something. DoorDash needs to take accountability instead of making customers pay for its mistakes

As soon as it adds another order during the current route, it redirects the driver to the second pickup location. upon arrival it asks to confirm the arrival at the first pickup location. that's very bad. it always gives this run around. The app developer must correct this as soon as possible. to grab your attention is the only reason for one star. as soon as the glitch is removed I will turn back to five star.

gps accuracy sucks..

in latest update, heat maps are completely wrong. I'm in very small market and it now shows as 'Busy' or 'Very Busy" all-day long, even tho I only rec'v on avg 5 orders per day. please fix!

The DoorDash-Dasher app is misleading they ask for your information to start Dashing and then you go to sign in to start and app just start's blinking and will not stop, so i can't get into my account or even call DoorDash-Dasher. So i feel like DoorDash-Dasher just stole my information.

Best gig for anybody who loves driving, when you start out. App is iffy on if it works great or not. Extra popups when doing an order can be annoying but helps out when starting. Support is always willing to help and has been very friendly to me every time.

Too many issues to install and update to your new device. crashes or don't get notifications when online. Every time it's supposed to be improved it's actually getting worse than better.

I have been doing DoorDash delivery for many years. and it seems like the more business and money door dash makes off of mainly, manual delivery and the app, (of course).. the workers, myself, (male) if us delivery drivers, are creating more only to be compensated less and less I personally am curious about the fact that I have 5 stars. I also, maintain each and all, (very high) ratings. However , it seems that I am appreciated less than whenever I first started🤔

The app works pretty well I just find that sometimes when it comes to stacked orders they will send me to one place and when I get there the order disappears and the second one suddenly takes its place, they want me to leave the place they just sent me and navigated me to, to get the second order first and then turn around and come back. That really bothers me.

Platinum dasher here. New update does not allow notification chime. Was working a week ago. Have to constantly look at my phone to see if I have an offer. Missed 3 this morning and my dash went to "pasued". All of my notifications are on and volume is up. The other 3 dashes I accepted were because I was watching my phone, again no sound working for this app now.

Someone lied said i never delivered there food. Doordash sided with them even with my perfect delivery rating and my dispute fully detailed. They then dropped my status also forcing me to do 100 dashes before they will allow it to go away or my status to change honestly they are trash regarding their drivers

TrashDash support agents don't get paid enough to care. I'm either constantly dealing with an incompetent AI pretending to be a human, or it's some poor bastard that doesn't know how to do anything other than copy and paste something that doesn't help whatsoever. There's no way to contact tech support that I know of, it isn't in the dasher app, so there's no way of fixing offer notifications in my account. #TrashDash fix my notifications so everyone can get what the want.

Since the last two updates the New Offer notification sounds don't play while connected to Android Auto. I've also had Offers that never show up on-screen. I'll get a text AND an Android notification from the app saying I have a new offer but the Dash screen just shows "Finding Offers...", then the offer times out which is treated as though I declined but I never even saw it or had a chance to accept. 2,000+ dels, Platinum tier 99/100, on Android 16

good quick way to earn a few bucks

They'll pay enough for gas and food on the table. It won't pay enough for much else. It's the downward slope to financial ruin. Just enough to not starve, but nowhere near enough to not be screwed when a part finally gives out from all of the wear and tear on the vehicle. They pocket a fortune for doing nothing. You do all of the work and end up with a heap of metal. None of the other driver apps are better. Each just a different road to hell. Signed, someone with over a thousand deliveries.

GPS isn't great. It glitched out. I am currently pausing during peak delivery time to speak with a manager to try and help them figure out their issues. But hey, it's only day 1 and I made 100$ in a few hours. Not the worst gig if you enjoy multitasking and are digitally savvy. IYKYK

I'm doing my best to make deliveries. But I feel like you guys have a quota. For stop signs, are we making deliveries? Or are we intentionally slowing our drivers down Uber? Grubhub, every other app I use, has a very low amount of stop. Signs, it's like your guys' app. Thrives on, stop signs, 4 bicycles. Make sure you keep us on the main roads. If you stop a 100 times you're slowing your order down, you're making people's food cold. You're making an unpleasant customer. punishing us for it

lmfao. I've been using the app for like two weeks then all the sudden, this app doesn't support my device. I can still BUY food on the regular door dash app. BS. CHILLLLL 😂😂😂 even worse. they want you to be murdered for their $2 delivery that they charge the customer $40 for. but as long as it works, I'll play. and it's really ZERO stars but that's ALSO against policy

I was almost scammed by someone using door dash account I been delivering for 2 months now and today I had a cash order I got the delivery and was only the way to deliver it when someone from door dash called me saying it was a fraudulent delivery to do the delivery but don't get out of the car and then after that told me to go to the nearest store and take money out of my bank account and send it to a barcode they sent me so they can reimburse me my money back but the cashier saved me

It was worth it at first but then I started getting jipped a lot. People claiming they never got their food so they can get a free meal has caused me to lose money. Support does NOT care. Also map ETA times are TERRIBLY OFF

The photo it takes of the drivers license is all black at first. Then it appears after going away from the app and then back. The timing of when it asks for ID veri. is bad. Was already in a dark car when it asked for a driver's license photo and selfie picture. Which it seems that it didn't recognize properly, likely because of the low light. So it locked my account. Map directions has speed in mph and it thinks the speed is over the limit when at the limit.

other then the exceptionally long waits both times at taco bell and taco bells carbonation not working in their fountain drinks, my first day back to dashing was a success 😉

Why do you have to keep changing the UI? everything is so confusing & in so many different layers. there's always issues & the gps tries to get me to go in the opposite direction. Sometimes, it won't show me both of the orders for the same place until I've already picked up one customer, then I get to do the second after clicking I've "arrived" again. I've lost a lot of money on extra gas spent for orders that were already picked up & no, the restaurant will never "remake" it. They ALWAYS refuse

the engineers need to work with somebody that actually uses the app because they make it harder and harder to use the app every time they update it. there is way too much stuff there that we don't need and not enough of what we needed that you got rid of. remember simpler is better. it even signs you out for no reason

$2 base pay isn't enough but it's getting better

Its pretty good but sometimes the restaurants are so so slow, one of my orders was 22 minutes late because of it and I got a violation. Some people dont have any numbers or lights on their property and it's hard to deliver at night. Other than that, its a good way to earn some extra change.

if I could give 0 I would it's almost as if they only care about the customer not the person who is delivering the food to them. the customers lie all the time and the dasher gets blamed I continue to prove I delivered orders and still get told that I failed to deliver the order. the continued crashing while driving is so frustrating. and dasher support is just as terrible

Devistating, single mom of twin toddlers here. with little time & funds to spare, except for enough gas to try and dash. I worked all night long , put a lot of pride into it. And they didn't pay. Everytime I call to ask why they give me an excuse as to they arnt able to look into it ect. Trying to be a good employee to this company and it just hurt my family tremendously 😭 no wonder that can't find good dashers.

this app is very very glitchy. newest update has eliminated all sounds so you never know if you have an order unless you're staring at your phone and driving at the same time. dangerous unless your doordashing with a second person.

keeps glitching especially on the navigation showing the wrong speed like 55 when I went down to 45 and even when I went to 35 still showed 55 and keeps on glitching and getting stuck on navigation and then you're not able to exit

At what point do you think you'll get around to fixing audio alerts for new food orders? It's on your end, because the alerts still work for dashlink orders. I swear every time you change something you break 5 other things. Get better devs, the ones you have now are stealing from you with their ineptitude.

no added maps to the dasher for drivers. how you guys do solo drivers but dont have the money to advance the app for it to use Google maps for the app.

Issues with verification its not scanning even with camera permissions. Getting support difficult, tried calling in and after 30 min trying to work with AI in chat and on phone finally got a live agent. That is way to long when waiting at a customers house! Horrible service to say I can't deliver due to ap issue - sets drivers up for bad ratings.

In my strongest opinion this app is not worth it unless you are very desperate. Most orders do not amount above 8 dollars, but for those orders youre spending atleast 15 to 20 mins driving. I was active for 4 hours and made under 50 dollars. Again I was active for 2 hours and could not make more than 30 dollars. Thats not worth wearing down my car, in my opinion.

literally the worst possible job a person can have. everything about working for door dash is pure torture. their latest inhumane atrocity is removing the ability to see how much you're getting paid for your current order. there's no reason to do that other than trying to make your employees day just a little bit worse in any way you can.

doordash really does suck. Keeps half my money on double orders. Its only $2 per order, but how many $2 do they keep per day? i would say millions. Think about it.

I'm SERIOUSLY getting fed up with DoorDash and it's constant issues and glitches.. I haven't been able to take ANY shop and deliver orders in the last 6 months! I've called several times to get support from Dasher "Support" and yet all I've gotten is the same troubleshooting options and still can't get any ACTUAL support or help.. do better.. this is ridiculous..

My review is that I am in a su.U.V and I keep getting 2 and 3 dollar runs, which are further than the $7 and up runs, and they just send me on a Starbucks run for $7 and it was 4 at least 15 or 20 minutes, and it said 3 minutes, I am in an su.U, Vi cannot afford to waste my fuel.

buggy af. loads multiple instances. GPS lags and keeps loosing itself. major battery drain. and they won't stop with the stupid notifications and text alerts.

after learning about this companies satanic beliefs and rituals with the giant Ouija board on Venice boardwalk I had to delete this app along with other righteous believers.

Unoptimized and poorly managed system totally! Even though "chat support" helpline team Is not really good at their job, I mean they aint expert, sometimes they lack basic communication. But still every issues gets solved after pushing it from a rider or driver's side. Another Big factor is that the App is so poorly built and optimized, less minimalism, unnecessary actions over important functions such as "Customer Name" or "Order Number" visual on the screen(Specially Maccas Orders)

I'm a 5-star Dasher, but I've received fewer orders than in past years, and on top of that, people don't tip like they used to. Every day gets worse.

absolutely horrible horrible experience. this app is so horrendous. my native back camera is broken, and so when I try to pick up an order I can't scan it. when I click "no receipt" it automatically sends me to take a pic of the bag. it won't let me switch to the front camera - reads that my back camera won't connect - and forces me back. never ending error message. forced me to call support. then they just intentionally got rid of the manual ID verify. So I couldn't drop off either 🤬🤬🤬

Ever since you all made an update on the app now there is no notification with a sound. It just comes through as a vibration on your phone, which causes you to miss orders. Because you can't be looking at your phone while you're driving. When they're trying to send a delivery through on top of that, you no longer are able to close the app open it. And then still get the delivery. So if there's something wrong, or you're in a bad area, you can't do this. Overall, the app is trash.

Where did you hide the END dash button? It's nowhere to be found on my app! funny that you don't want me to stop working yet I've had the app on for easily 12 hours today and you all sent me zero deliveries. I have missing photos from my deliveries when you have to take a photo in order to close the delivery?! I take a photo every time doordash asks for one. DD discriminating against drivers.

love the new updates. about time we get the graph that looks like a big connect4 game showing us all our declines and accepts so we can see visually where we are at on acceptance rate. quality rating, great addition. more metrics for a more comprehensive ratings system. love that. great job steering things back in the right direction.

new update really ruined doordash for me, 2000 order platinum driver and once this update dropped all im getting is below 5$ for any offer with at least 8-10 miles making it not cost effective whatsoever to do doordash no more with these insane gas prices, do yourself a favor and do Uber eats if you're gonna do any food delivery app

have been a platinum dasher for a year and they just lock my account for a background check that hasn't changed for a year and its been a week of being told 24 hrs 24hrs 24hrs now on the highest paying weekend of the year its still gonna.be days....4.3 billion dollars in 1 qrtr and this is how they treat the people that make tht for.them top 20% in my area and get locked out over nothing.

The newest update broke the widget and has made the app unreliable.

New update is good, but now when doing earn-by-time I can't see if someone has tipped on their order and that has me LIVID. This is an App that has you running around all over the place and I don't understand if you designate a specific area you want to work in, why do you send pickups and deliveries outside of that specific area a person only wants to work, or pick up several orders for 1 pay instead of 2 separate pay outs! The app no longer makes a noise when a new delivery comes up for accepting. I don't notice my phone vibrating when it is in the dashboard holder while I drive. That makes it extremely easy to miss offers.

Glitchy and Lies. Routinely gets stuck in loops there are no ways out of except for closing the app and opening it back up repeatedly and hoping it starts working. Routinely lies to you also about the location and distance. Says it's 3 miles away, as you get near, bloop! 45 mins away, have fun!

Every time the app updates it just gets worse. I can't update any of my information or my preferred name, it just gives me a general error message. I can't see the order I need to place with a red card until i've confirmed i've already paid on the app. The navigation is awful and takes you to dead ends or tells you to turn when there's no road. The act of doordashing and making money from it is awesome, but the app itself totally sucks.

my dasher app keeps losing internet connection when ever I'm out dashing and it's only the dasher app that does it none of my other apps lose connection. when my dashing app isn't on and I'm not dashing my internet works great. the constant losing connection with the app while dashing is a issue for me when I'm trying to make money. please resolve the issue in the app.

As a driver, you get ripped off with offers. 9/10 pick ups for me are $10 or less with drops exceeding past 5 miles or more. I'm losing money wasting gas. I keep getting told I'll get higher tips, which never come. And curiously enough I talked to one customer who asked me if received my tip before I made the drop off. I didn't receive anything and I stuck around for their order to be remade after their first one was stolen. Doordash you really need too compensate for the gas mileage.

Its a good side job, wouldn't do it main stream, weekends or once and awhile type of stuff, some people and companies have to understand that people with cars need more money in general due to maintenance.

the 10/26/26 release seemingly changed button locations and layouts to where its difficult to quickly end my dash, and the gear icon and the three bar / burger icon changed locations, so when orders are busy the app pushes an order through while im trying to confirm end of dash. it also ignored me setting the "pause dash after this order" and kept accepting orders. things were fine.
