This apps offline/download functionality was already terrible compared to others, often insisting on internet access to start which defeats the entire purpose, but now it has got even worse. Now when watching downloads all pause and seek functions no longer work.

so many darn commercials unless you pay an additional $11 a month subscription personally I think Disney should provide you with a free tube of KY which is pretty powerful course if you know anything about their history

I don't know what Disney plus is doing but this has been the glitchiest app for almost 4 years that I've had it and I just downloaded it again after 3 years of not using it and nothing has changed constantly it's constantly rebooting or kicking me off and putting me back on the home screen. absolutely ridiculous!

I thought Disney+ was improving, but these bugs are beyond frustrating. The app forgets my watch progress, restarting episodes from 0:00 even when I'm halfway through. Worse, controls on downloaded videos are broken—I can't pause, skip back, or fast-forward 10 seconds at all; only "Next Episode" works. Offline controls work fine on streaming, but downloads are unusable. It’s ridiculous that basic player features don't work on a paid service. Fix this broken app immediately!

Terrible, download shows, or movies do not save your progress, on my phone I can't control the pause feature. It a real problem needs to bd fixed

it is ausome and you get a lot of stuff to watch too but if you watch something too much they start putting adds on and it is annoying and after I restart my phone I have to sign in all over again but it is good.

the update is terrible. I keep getting error 39 when trying to watch. I contacted Disney support who was unable to assist. This issue has been happening for a month. I have decided that I will be unsubscribe from Disney plus this month because I am paying for a service I can't use.

The new app is sooooo frustrating. If you stop streaming midway and then continue watching, the movie/episode will restart from the beginning. And now I'm experiencing issue when it does not just restart, you can't fast forward it...sigh...

it has so many varieties of movies and shows. it loads fast and I would highly recommend if your wanting simthung fir on the go or just hanging around the house.

I Love Disney because it good for kids

I downloaded the new upgraded app, but when I tried to buy a subscription it routes me to a PDF file which is not right. Can someone please correct this and return back the old Disney+ app. It was more convenient than the new one.

The app is generally fine but I have an issue that, whenever I download an episode to watch offline, it completely removes my ability to skip forward or backwards in the video playback, regardless of whether I watch the video connected to the internet or not. I'm also unable to open the app to watch downloaded videos if I'm not connected to the internet, which is an issue I don't have with other streaming service apps.

Complete LOSS of pause and scrub functionality on downloads. Service paid for was therefore NOT delivered! Also: slow to load; constantly re-checks you've paid your subscription; frequent error codes regarding login issues; downloads often fail and need babysitting.

Anytime I go back to watch an episode I havent finished, I am never able to get back to the same point I was at. I have to restart the episode, skip part, or even have to go into the season to find the right episode because my last episode was an episode I already watched! It's very frustrating! Especially with how much Disney charges!!!

Disney's prices may have gone up, but well worth the extra buck. They have totally expanded their menu and the format is fantastic being so easy to follow and find what you want. I'm loving that is not just for the kids, but for ALL ages. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Finally they made the globel app universal and got rid of the Asian app. Works great now. Content is good and price is fair, I don't need 4k or more than 2 simultaneous viewers.

ads added to Disney movies after having this streaming service for several years. this app is for young children. why would you do that?? take them off without forcing us to pay more. also, take the Hulu content off of the Disney app. again, I got this app for my children and there's a lot of Hulu content that they don't need or want

The new app is exactly like the old one. Takes forever to play and delayed.

Buggy and lacking a lot. subtitle need to be set at every episode. downloaded videos can't work properly with flight mode. All playback progress will be gone and can't forward or backward. works fine on ipad but not on Android.

Since version 26.19 , downloaded content, I cannot pause, play, advance 10 sec or use the scroll bar. Have done everything possible ( clear data/cache ,reinstall, relogin), tried it on 3 different android phones, always the same issue. Contacted support, said none has same issues, read into the reviews saw more people experience the same, no action until today.

You cannot use controls on pre-downloaded content. If you close the app in the middle of the video, you have to rewatch the entire video again. You also can't open the app while offline, so you have to open it before going offline and never close it. Horrible experience.

Playback Issues with Downloaded Content – Disney+ Android App Version 26.19.0 I’m experiencing playback issues when watching downloaded movies on my Redmi Pad running HyperOS, using Disney+ app version 26.19.0. The issues occur with all downloaded movies, not just a specific title: 1. Playback controls such as Pause, Fast Forward (+10 seconds), and Rewind are completely unresponsive. 2. When I close a downloaded movie and try to resume watching it later, playback starts from the beginning

Player unusable, resuming playback even when offline is not hard. skip recap, skip intro buttons not working, dragging cursor jumps back, this is unusable. the shows I like are one hour, I need to be able to navigate within the segments of the content. Get your act together please.

since the recent update, on my android if I pause and phone goes off when I unlock my phone again it Disney app goes straight under the downloads tab instead of staying on the episode or movie I was watching I then have to press back again and find what I was watching. very annoying. also the in screen light adjustment is no longer there I have to adjust on my phone setting, also very frustrating. Just to add, app is incredibly slow, my internet speed is very fast please fix these issues

A nice selection for the family to enjoy - but there has been an issue with the playback buttons being greyed out and unresponsive for all downloads for a while now. Can't skip forward to catch up to where I was in the episode/movie, rewind, skip intros, etc. It works as long as I am streaming the episodes, but it kinda defeats the purpose of having a downloads option when it doesn't work/is super buggy. Otherwise we enjoy it!

The Disney app is not working on both my cellphone and TV since this morning. I cannot login on either. When I tried to do on web browser is says that is not available in my region even though my subscription went off yesterday.

Until Disney adds Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and other 90s and early 2000s shows, 3 stars is the best Disney Plus gets. The interface is solid (if spammy), the functionality is solid, but intentionally omitting things people want because they want to sell horrible later revisions is nonsense.

terrible offline experience, cannot jump forward, logging off when I have slow internet and can't log back on since i have bad internet during travels, download stops when app is in the background.

Currently many users, myself included, are reporting that the pause, rewind, and fast-forward buttons don't work for downloaded movies. You also can't drag the timeline to change the time position. Any time you reopen a downloaded film, it restarts at the beginning. This renders the app basically useless for offline usage.

this app always says I need to download a new app. When I login with my phone, now I can't login on my TV it always says (error code 21) what does that mean?

I can't even watch It every time. It plays a commercial, it stops with 1 second left and then won't continue anything. If you back out, try to restart it. You watch the same commercials again. Can't finish a movie.

The best app I’ve ever downloaded! It runs very smoothly and is great to use—I really love it.

Each time you log into the app it asks you to upgrade it which is irritating. This has been going on for a while and I've seen a couple of reviews complaining about the same thing but still there is not fix for over a month now. I'm thinking of canceling my subscription.

you can download content to watch later but if youre offline the app won't open so you cant watch it. kinda defeats the entire purpose. and when you do watch the downloaded video, none of the on screen buttons work. you cant skip recaps or intros, you cant fast forward or rewind, you cant even pause

Unable to control media on Zfold8 (pause, forward, etc) No offline mode, despite having the content downloaded you are not able to play it as the app needs internet connection for every start. Offline content is with limited language setting, you cannot even select the language, so it might in a different language from you preference.

Recent Changes I don't like how they changed how many devices I can watch my subscription on but you all are steady going up on the price of the subscription. How that work? Make it make sense. You all need to change that. I like my subscription but if I am paying money should be able to watch it wherever I want to, my house, my parents house, wherever and whenever.

glitchy app. tried to watch downloaded content while offline on a plane (twice) but app tries to log in and cannot access downloaded content. also current app version has issue not being able to pausenand fast forward content.

After trying to play a download, the pause button and the usual 10-second skip forward and back are grayed out. On a different download, audio was preset to Chinese, with no option to change. The crazy part is, it says audio is English. It was a Marvel movie.

Very poor fast forward and rewarding controls. Does not keep current location of partially watched ESPN programs. Audio cuts out for about 5 seconds before ads.

I can't believe as they are increasing prices, they release an Android app that disables any control over the shows you watch! No pause, +/- 10 sec, no use of the slide bar. I'm halfway through a downloaded show on a plane, I can't pause to go to the bathroom, have to exit. When you start the episode again it forces you to watch from the beginning at regular speed.

Filled with issues and Crashes! its unfortunate. but nowhere near as smooth a platform as Netflix. Disney + Needs to work out this kinks and problems. it's exhausting trying to enjoy a show only to have the app crash or log u out of the service or give u a bogus ur offline note. Disney is a large multi billion dollar company. work on your App!!
