I barely just joined it like less than 10 minutes ago and it already banned my account and I don't know what I did at all. Maybe because I didn't put my location right away but I don't see why they did that, so I do not like this app and believe I can look for something better. Now it could definitely be a way better experience for others, but for me it was not the best.

"nearby" included Austraila wholeness I'm in the US.

This was a decent app for meeting new people and making friends until they completely removed watching ads for HMU. Now it went from F2P to basically waiting every day to get enough gems for messaging 2 or 3 people. It's Dissapointing to say the least. Update: They removed watching ads again probably early 2026 and it's made the app unusable again. The one thing that made it different is gone and now it's P2W again, so please dont use this app.

Cannot sort by location. Im looking for friends in my city not my country. I dont want a friend in texas while im in the north east. Uses the same code as tinder. Pushes romantic matches more than friends. App isn't even intuitive, bad UI design. I said I wanted to match with women for friendship and within 10 minutes I got 10 men matches who want to have sex. disappointed

I was misled by this app it said to meet friends nearby I specifically chose this app to get away from the advances of men and just have a friendly conversation with people but the app lied I thought I was accepting friend requests and it says we were a match and why did I have to jump through so many Hoops to be able to post my picture and open my profile and they have all these damn catfish on there they didn't have to be verified no check mark no nothing poorly misleading

Although this app is intended for mostly escapism, but few people are misusing the app and luring the opporsite gender by crossing limits. I could take the name of the person, but he is married and cheating on his wife... nevertheless, women beware of predators. :)

Terrible support. My account was unfairly flagged as "suspicious" due to a broken algorithm. I completed the live facial verification perfectly with great lighting, but support didn’t even bother to review it; they just told me to "stop making up excuses." On top of that, they claimed my content on hmu was inappropriate, yet the system itself never deleted or flagged any of my photos because I fully follow the guidelines. This is a total false positive. There are no humans reviewing cases here.

I found someone through this app so that's good, but I am 16 and I found a profile of an older man who put his age as 15. I sent him a direct message saying "you are not 15 you predator" and he blocked me right after I sent it. I have a screenshot of his profile and the message I sent. his user is "spence" and it says that he is from Vancouver Canada. contact me if you want the screenshots. Befriend is really good with the keeping more younger teen version separate, but this is disgusting.

One of the worst app I have ever found on Play Store, people on this platform are very rude and toxic and they don't even reply on the messages sent to them.

I hate having to pay to try and find a friend. It is also expensive and I don't know if it's even worth it. Also, I would love to be able to look for people close to me. This isn't a great app for finding a friend that is near you.

SO. MANY. ADS. Theres always an ad after I send a message. not to mention you need "gems" to swipe on people, and they give you an ad to accept it. They also don't care how much nudity/sexual talk people do. They always promote their socials and put sexual reasons but the posts never get taken down.

I cant reply to anyone without ads coming up, I click on somone and boom a ad then I can't get out of the add have to restart the whole app. I'm not doing that it'll take me over an hour to reply that way. Deleting this app.

great app overall, amazing filters and people are really okay on it. what bothers me though is that, after swiping 5-6 profiles i always get told there are no profiles to be reached and there's really no consistency. have to wait some time before i'm able to swipe more than one profile every 5 minutes. other than that, really amazing app

It's good for making friends but it's very slow and they push you to buy things you can't even log in without getting adds to buy stuff plus they have adverts that use ai/chat bots.

Quite a few creeps. I have reported them but I need to know they will get their accounts deleted, an interaction with threatening behaviour. This man asked disturbing things such as gang rape, dehumanising words towards me a woman such as "nothing but a hole" "sentient fleshlight". I reported yet no follow up notification. Given that this app is targeted towards making friends the disturbing messages I received really isn't friendly. Dirty disgusting app in general. Worst experience ever

I started using this app a little over a year ago. Regardless of whether you set the settings for either by your country first or around the world, it seems I was always bombarded by the same profiles 60% of the time. Which surprises me, based on the number of people who have downloaded the app (around five million). A lot of inactive profiles I feel. People are treating it more like Grindr than a friend-seeking app. Convos would be one-sided (mostly) or straight to something sexual.

The free gems seems to be broken. The one for 30 gems after you watch an ad works about 25% of the time, and the daily bonus gems goes straight into an ad when I'm sure it never used to.

it's incredibly hard to find good people on this app, unfortunately a lot of the issues come from just gross zorny teenage boys because the apps moderation sucks. but also a lot of adult predators, I have met enough (and gotten proof of their adult ages enough) to say that I would not consider this app safe at all. especially not for children. and also, the photos say the age can go to 21, that a lie. you can only go up to 17. lots of bots too. and they all want nudes.
