The app itself creates fake profiles to simulate connections... I realized this when I saw several profiles of people from the ethnicities of countries I’ve visited—coincidentally, all of them sharing my native language... Each one had only 1 or 2 photos, which appeared to be AI-generated, and no text in the profile. It’s presumably impossible... Additionally, there are many ads.

Dear Badoo I am appealing the decision to block my Badoo account for allegedly buying or selling sexual services. I strongly believe this decision was made by mistake.some people approached me asking for naked pictures, sexual videos and sexual activities. I refused because I am not interested in that kind of activity. I joined Badoo because I genuinely wanted to meet someone for a serious relationship. I am concerned that someone may have reported my account

it is puzzling how this app gets an average rating of 4.0 when most recent ones are just one star. the app obviously has an algorithm where initially a user will receive seven or eight likes with hours. yet you can't message anyone directly unless there's a match and unless you pay, everything here is focused on extracting money from the user. their goal is only to move money from your pocket into their pocket. will not be continuing the subscription on this one. there are better options.

I used this app in my two devices, the first device was blocked and I don't know why and the same with the second device, I used different number and emails but still the same. I never change any location but it suddenly blocked my account. Not recommended

50% of profiles are fake gold diggers and abroad in some other country they even say it on their profiles, They just wanrto come to the UK. While the concept is much better than most chat apps, their monetization scheme is aggressive and greedy. To meet your local fuglies just pay $60 a year only to find out you still need to spend around $20 on credits/tokens to get any real satisfaction from the app. This pay to play scheme is old and too expensive for the little you get. You're better off avoiding premium and just using credits.

I have used this app on & off since 2019. It was great but has dramatically changed for the worse. It no longer shows you actually local people. I used to have no problem finding matches in the surrounding towns. Now, all the people are at least 40+ miles away if I am lucky. I get it's designed to keep you on the app, but it feels cruel. Also, the amount of sexual harassment is astonishing. To be fair, Badoo has been very responsive to that. But hiding local profiles from you is pretty awful.

What a piece of trash. You can't cycle through the encounters if someone likes you. Just keeps going back to that screen forcing you to pay. Worst app

Payed premium, despite I am handsome, not a single contact. Non responsive ptofiles, lot of scammers and when you detect them, they unfriend, the chat disappears of course, you can't report them and even support ask you who they are with screenshots! Just like Bumble: trash

I do not recommend this application at all. It spies on your phone and invades privacy. I only entered my phone number without sharing anything, yet it automatically pulled personal and family photos from my Facebook profile without my consent. This app steals your data and violates your privacy

USE OPEN SOURCE ALTERNATIVES As I've said in other reviews, any dating app that paywalls communication is absolutely unforgivable. If a dating app uses subscriptions, they care more about your wallet then you. Like usual, if everyone went open source (i.e. Compass) or just used a truely free app like Facebook these apps wouldn't exist. App also has a very strange filtering system. The filters didn't really seem to do anything, they acted more like suggestions. Bad even without that though.

It has a very bad experience, you can't see who liked you. To see or talk with someone who swiped you, you have to purchase a membership or you have to buy credits. This app's motive is just to earn money without providing the basic features that are provided as free. There should be an ad to reveal who liked you instead of buying credits. Waste app, won't recommend you to don't download this.

I'm getting way too many matches from people who are faking their location. Badoo needs to do something about this. I report every single account that admits they have a fake location, and you just tell me that you don't have enough evidence to prove they're doing anything wrong. Edit: I gave up and deleted my account and this app. Don't sign up for it.

I paid for premium access and it doesn't work. The app seems to have shadow blocked me. I verified my photo, and number and still no joy. I raised a ticket and got message saying they will reply within 7 days. 7 days of a 1 month subscription, at best wasted. Terrible service. best to go to another app.

Go to "people nearby" and the first 100 people will be in the Philippines or Africa. actually type the area you want to search and same thing. whats the point in a dating app if everyone is 1000's of miles away and trying local searches does nothing because of "Chosen loaction" then you only get 5 swipes before a 4minute advert
