I don't want to sound like a bot, but this game is a genuine masterpiece. The developers are GOATED, I have no more ads, even though I haven't paid extra money in-game. I can unlock new levels by either being skillful at the game or just pay around 2 bucks instead. Evidently, that's a great reward system. The concept is incredible, just the default level mechanics are utilized so masterfully, like in Gd levels. This game is definetly a bit niche in 2026 but I highly recommend it. It's amazing.

bugs ruin the experience. Some sounds are missing and the left and right sounds are reversed. If the screen is set to 120hz while playing it plays at 2x speed. A 5 star game if the issues get fixed.

BADLAND, one of my best games ever, everything is perfect from the thrilling story to the amazing one tap gameplay! I played this game long ago and still because I really love it and I'm expert now :) I noticed that there are two important problems in the game which honestly make it less enjoyable for me and many other players, I have to share it with the developers in a hope to look after and fix them. First: "the sounds", most of the objects and machines sounds are missing, it's really annoying and hinders the gameplay experience, this bug has become common since update 3.2.0.80 and above even today's update, what attracted me most to the game were the distinctive and weird sounds, whether the shooting sounds of the forest or the unique sounds of the machines that wants to kill Clony, so I hope you'll investigate it soon. Second: in recent updates, the game is finally completely free. You simply progress through the levels to unlock new ones, with the option to pay to unlock all levels. This was the case when I played it on my phone. However, when I looked at the game on my TV, I noticed that nothing like this was happening. The mandatory payment to continue playing is still in place; you can only play Day 1-Dawn, then you have to pay to continue. Personally, I always prefer playing on TV and enjoying the game on the big screen, unlike my experience on phone, which I didn't like. Therefore, I hope the game will become free on TV as well as on phone. In conclusion, I highly recommend trying BADLAND: Game Of The Year Edition on PC and consoles for the best visual experience, especially with the improved controls. Fun game and the design is cool

I loved the absolutely beautiful artistry and ambiance of the game while also feeling creepy and lore filled. The only annoyed thing is that there are a TRILLION unskipable ads.

Badland is one of the best games you can get on your phone. You play a whatever you're supposed to be flying, dodging and timing your movements through a lush jungle with mechanical contraptions strewn all over the place just trying to make to the end without getting squished, blended, or stuck. And this premise will have you addicted for hours. You will have fun.

Still love it going back and playing 10 years later! Makes progress easy but getting achievements medium to very hard, so can replay levels many times. Music is good, creativity is superb. I went and read bad reviews because I couldn't fathom why, and apparently it's all about the ads. That is disappointing, but premium is not that much and if ever there was a game worth spending a few bucks, this is it.

no I am not pleased. it would be a nice game if I didn't have to pay for it and I'm not watching 3 minutes of ads just to unlock a level so that would be almost like what? 10-20 maybe even over 20 percent of the game just watching ads? NO.

It's the best game I have ever played. i love the sound affects and the art is just so beautiful. really a good game. and its also amazing that you can play alone and with friends and family, it makes everything so much more fun. badlands was way way way better back then now at android players the game is free but when you die or beat a level it says do you want to upgrade to premium level its 4.39 dollars but at iphone players only charge 1 dollar and they give them big quality and no ads meanwhile on android players get low quality graphics. plz make the game better like very scary scary levels.

I am really glad I happened to cross paths with this extremely frustrating yet absolute gem of a game! BIG shout out to the developers, cause you folks have made by far one of the most completely gang buster experience I've had on a mobile game. it can be super frustrating at times but also super satisfying too. such an original cool concept. Self-explanatory, just the only singular problem is: You need 'Premium membership' to progress, and complete the game, which, of course cost Dollars. Otherwise, it's a "Swiss-Army Knife" of Ultimate Simplicity-Gameplay Control, High-quality Graphic Art, and it's best game in optimization, in the entire world! (besides the 'Premium' beg.) It's the 'Best' game in the world! Good as Swiss Cheese.

It's very good! It's like flappy bird but WAY WAY BETTER. While the amount of levels might make it look scary because of how long it might take to finish I personally see this as an absolute win. To me the longer it takes to finish the game the better why? Because you'll get a nearly endless amount of fun download badland! I even saw they have merch.

I love the game and all of the aspects of the game other than one singular issue... the advertisement... tbh the ads aren't as bad as I am extrageerating but there are way to many in-game pop ups about their new games and levels and all, and every once and while there's just a long unskipable ad for no reason.

The game is pretty good I've played it multiple times across many different devices, but for some ungodly reason recently the game decided to run at 2x speed making itself unplayable. Coming back in 2025 I found a way to make it run properly, just had to limit it's fps to 60 in the game optimization settings. The game is still as good as I remember or even better.

This is probably one of the best games I've ever played. And why? Well, it's because of the detail, the physics, and so much more. You can even build anything you want! But I have some suggestions; PLEASE make it so that the game saves your progress, custom levels and stats and saves it to your Google Play account, so if the game gets deleted then re-installed, the data is saved.

Look, don't get me wrong, this game is awesome, unique and very well made, although it seems that recently the developers have kind of abandoned it (it may be just me). I've been experiencing a few bugs, one which seems to be kind of known already which is the very buggy and useless (at the moment) sound events. The other one which I'm not sure if it is just me is that I can't create a nickname to publish a level in the level world (which doesn't seem to update too). I can't type more bc limit.

This is the first game I ever paid for. And I think it's worth it. Simply because the artwork, the details, music, physics, everything is taken care to perfection. Levels are very creative. Not complaining but at times it gets mildly infuriating. If you guys had introduced more charaters apart from clones, it would have probably have turned into a movie too, who knows :)

It's such an entertaining and fun game all through out I guess the only real complaint I have with the game is the difficulty like the screen moves waaaaaaaaay too fast at time and I barley have enough time to react or think with the next obstacle that's up ahead but besides that it's still fun and would recommend other people to give it a shot! :3

Still great game that brings good memories, but has some issues, in some reason search on level world doesn't work, no matter what you type, and when I try to publish level of says "failed to register nickname, try again later", also can't sync progress of created levels, all completed single player levels are synchronized, but levels in "my levels" just doesn't showing.

I was searching for a stage in the world of stages, but I did not find a result, and during the design stage, there were problems with the event sounds. One of the best mobile games I've ever played... Ever. Not much else to say Update: I've been playing this game for a while now (including having played it years ago on another account) and I'm very sad to see that I can no longer play offline. As well as the fact that the game pushes the premium WAY TOO MUCH. Everytime they give you an add. And you can have 3 plus adds in less than a minute. Or you can go 15 without any. Because adds seem to be progress based.

It is an amazing game, easy to play but really challenging if your aim is to complete all missions and get high score. I deduct one star as some levels are a frustrating and feel unfair. The current ads system in the free version is terrible. You spend more time watching ads than actually playing. It used to be less intrusive. However, the paid version is really worth it.

The graphics and sound effects are fantastic and the gameplay is fluid, the physics are realistic and really cool imo. The reason I only gave 3 stars is that it gets frustratingly difficult pretty early on. By stage 5 or 6 it became unenjoyable for me because the levels are pretty short and there are often several ads that take multiple actions to close, it's ridiculous, especially when using a controller.

This has been one of my favorite phone games of all times. Great gameplay, fun challenging levels, and it looks gorgeous. Only issue is that the framerate is locked to 60 FPS and running the game at 120 FPS causes it to run at double the speed which makes it unplayable. Hopefully it can be updated to fix this.

Great game! It's definitely worth paying the little amount of money to access all of the levels. Amazing visuals, great atmospheric sounds (although the left and right audio is reversed when wearing headphones, which isn't great..). It gets challenging for the doomsday levels, which is fun (I just finished them). The evil drone was intriguing, but so far, nothing has been explained. Overall, it's one of the best games I've played on mobile.

I used to love this game. The art style is beautiful and the mechanics are complex in a simple package. Nothing has changed about the gameplay but the ads have become ridiculous. I just opened the app to play for a few minutes before bed. Instead of even getting a chance to even play, I was assaulted with a full-length ad that required 3 separate actions, all with timers before allowing me to click through. I hadn't even played the game today. Too much. I'm getting tired of intrusive ads.

I love this game. It is so lovingly rendered; the color palette, animation, audio, foley work, etc. But it is too violent. The carnage of this game is too much, and many of the levels require you to die many times over before you master the challenge. I didn't finish. This is the best multiplayer game me and friends have ever played.Also the games graphics are very great and the obsticles are average. Cus there hard parts of the obsticles and easy parts.The part that I love is when you have to work together with your friends to get onto the next level. Super fun and challenging. It's not too easy where it's boring, but it's not too challenging where you hate the game and never want to play it again. And I really like the Checkpoints. They tend to be pretty short. Some parts are more challenging than others. Overall really fun game. This is the only game that I downloaded like years ago and still play.

I played the game on every device I held, now I have an LG G5, and whenever I start the game my whole device freezes, nothing works till I turn the screen off with the hardware button, back on, click the Home button a couple of times, and end the game from the recent tasks... A beautiful and fun puzzle game held back by ads Badlands is a beautiful game, it's calming but also at the same time frantic, and the clones make it feel like you're in a pack with your brotheren trying to migrate away from whatever danger lies outside the screen. I would give this game 5 stars but there's just simply too many ads, if there weren't as many I'd happily give this game 5 stars, and even with the ads I still recommend it.

Brilliant. The game requires no explanation or exposition. There's no overblown drama or story to it. As soon as you open it, you just start playing and it's so much fun. You learn everything easily as you go along, but the game doesn't hold your hand. The ideas employed in this game are quiet ingenious. Sorry guys, I've just started doing the missions. They are complete balls. Almost impossible to do, and you have to rely on the chance of the physics in most cases. An awful grind. 2 stars off.

Don't waste your time if you are not willing to buy it. I do get the insane amount of ads, after all you want me to buy the game, but at least wait for me to hook up. I was still desiding if I like it (and I do buy the games I like), when it was rendered unplayable (in like 3 minutes of gameplay)

Brilliant game, especially if you're looking for something different and extraordinary. Visually it's incredibly interesting, with absolutely stunning audio, especially when playing with earphones. Addictive, challenging and unique game play, without being too hectic. Highly recommend paying for the premium version, as it's well worth the nominal fee. I really enjoyed everything about this game.

I loved this game when I was younger and I still do. Not only do you have to pay close attention to yourself but also to your surroundings, so challenging yet easy, the perfect balance. And so is the art, everything about this game is perfect. I do have one suggestion about your level editor: add an option to change the color of some things (ex: particles), and give the editors a choice to how much clones they gain per clone powerup. It would give the level editors more detail, ideas, and more!

I used to have this game downloaded when I was in highschool. I loved it then for its beautiful graphics and post-apocalyptic setting. However, the gameplay feels a lot faster, like too many things are happening at once, too quickly, in a given moment. Makes it hard to follow or really enjoy the game for what it is. Fast-paced platformers aren't really my thing. A neat addition or change would be the option to slow down your gameplay experience.

There is nothing wrong with this game, its perfect! Art is amazing, the power ups are cool (like the slow down and speed up power ups), the levels are hard yet fun, and I don't know what this little creature is, but hey at least he is original. It would be fun to see if there is real lore. (Dang I'm mentioning all these things and I didn't make it to the boss :/). Insatnt 5 stars!!

I've had so much fun. Ads can get a little annoying, but they aren't terrible, and definitely not the worst I've dealt with. I have had the game crash a couple of times, but it's hardly worth mentioning; otherwise, game play is smooth. Very fun, and plays almost like a dystopian version of flappy bird, but way more fun and with power ups. 5/5, 10/10, any possible way that I can say this is one of the funnest games I've played on mobile in a long time.

I just love everything about it, the aesthetic, the graphics and artwork are beautiful, premium is cheap, controls are smooth, the level creator is simple but there is so much potential, and it's so soothing. If only there were more preset levels like the top rated ones in the level world, some of those are beyond anything I thought was possible in the game. I've played this game for years, probably since the game was released, but I only have a few problems; one, The ads. This game is fun. Nice graphics. Gets decently challenging to get the extra objectives done. That said... too many ads! The game was going as planned for a long time and I've made lots of levels that I'm very proud of, my nickname was funny level guy and I even played the game on a TV! And that nickname was funny level jr. However.. for a while I thought nothing could stop me from playing and creating but I was wrong.. I haven't played the game for a while and finally decided to play it again. And then when I tried to go to the level world and then my levels.. the game froze. And it has been doing this until now.

I used to love this game. Incredible graphics, smooth gameplay, cute creatures, very challenging but not impossible. Today, I decided to redownload it and found that after each level and after each death, there is a 15-30 second unskippable ad. And if anyone knows anything about this game, it's that it is very difficult to get through a level without dying at least once, so ads are unavoidable and it's frustrating. But if you don't mind ads or pay for the ad removal, this game is incredible.

Amazing mechanics, I love how abandoned it seems, the way you have to gather up other birds like they are your people and you want to escape Egypt (idk why I used that). But it is very nice, the simplicity and need for strategy in the game makes it more interesting I used to play this on my PS4, literally just pressing X all day but it was still pretty fun. P.S. I heard there are many ads but all you have to do is play offline then ads won't bother you ;D

Like the game is good but there's like a 30 second ads every single time you finish a level. One time I paused my game cause I had to do something, then I unpaused and got an ad I really used to like this game before but now. They going wild with the ads, and worst of all, you have to watch the whole thing, you can skip them. I just played like 5 levels and I got like 7 ads. I won't recommend this game if you have issues with ads.

This game is amazing! I love all the different effects you can get from the different pickups, and the artwork is incredible! The only problem is the ads. I mean, I know they're l they're probably necessary to support the developers, but still, there are more than in, like, any other game I've played. Also, I wish I knew more about the backstory. I wiuld've given this app five stars for its performance if there weren't so many long and frustrating ads. You habe to wait for the entire video to end before you can click the "x" out of it, and every time you die u must watch one of those stupid ads. At least give us an option to skip them if there is going to be that many! Overall, the game is pretty dope :-3

A few years ago I purchased this game outright for $4.99. Everything was fine and it was a fun little mobile experience. Now I find that they want another $3.99 to remove advertising, and to access the full game. I guess that first purchase fee wore off? It's ridiculous and yet another reason I avoid mobile gaming likes it's the plague. I don't appreciate a company trying to charge me twice for the same game. I would advise any would be customers to spend their money elsewhere.

Good gameplay and nice graphics but the ads make it unplayable. An unskippable 30+ second ad Everytime you die or try to move on to the next level? I had to uninstall after 6 levels I couldn't take it. If the game had the "want to upgrade" option that is followed by an ad on the home screen that would be better but I can't enjoy a game when it's being interupted constantly with long unskippable ads. Great game. Really gave me raymen legend vibes idk why. It's pretty cute and the gameplay is fun but I mean the way if looks is just 👌Don't regret a 5 star and even then the microtransactions are fair. You can play without buying anything from what I know but you can buy to remove ads and to unlock all levels at once which I think you can still get by beating previous ones. Again great game and devs keep up the great work.

The gameplay is cool, good and somehow puzzle-like. The characters are cool and cute too. It is just THE BOIS (that could be their gang name lol) and a bunch of danger. But the ads pop up almost every time you finish a level. It would be great if they only pop up every 7 levels or so. Then ill move up the rating to a well-deserved 5-stars.

I don't really enjoy games in any capacity. They tend to be monotonous and repetitive. This one though, it's so much fun and challenging. Sometimes too challenging ; I find myself skipping checkpoints often 😂 not sure if these developers have other games, but I'm gonna find out after I post this review. This game WAS cool, it FELT very well made, but now the ads make it feel very cheap. I get it its money you are going after. But you should know that if you put ads after every level you will lose players very quikly. Maybe if you spaced the ads better, like once in between 5 levels the players would play more, not only for five minutes initially and never ever again, it would make you more money in thelong run. I am not talking about the updates that you could do to atract players...

Exceptional. Fun. Challenging. Nearly endless. But, the %@&*! advertising is unending, long, and way way to frequent. 30 second ads every time the game play resets, which on the more challenging levels can be seconds. When time spent waiting for ads to end is greater than time spent playing a game, it's about time to uninstall. Which I am going to do. After I finish this next level.

I LOVE this game's asthetics. There are parts that feel almost cinematic. If you play you'll know what I mean. The rabbits dangling from traps also are a nice little touch that emphasizes the hostility of the world. Gameplay is intuitive and interesting. I noticed the larger you are, the less force landmines or other objects apply to you, among other things. You could say it feels like the lovechild of Limbo and Flappy Bird, but it's really it's own thing. It feels like a PC game, ignoring ads.

Beautiful game. Unfortunately the difficulty level is all over the place. Half the game (day 1 and daydream) is very casual and the other half (day 2 and doomsday) ranges from very challenging up to impossible. As it is the game is a mix of sublime joy and device-throwing frustration.

The game is great! It has a neat design, creative levels, and it is a downright great game. The only thing though, in almost every level an offer pops up to upgrade to premium and when I click 'No thanks' it always gives me an ad to watch. This game tries to force you into getting the premium, if it were just something in the menu i would be fine, but its after every death or level. Ads are also abundant. I feel this game is very relaxing and offers a unique experience, but it gets interrupted and ruined basically by the ads, it makes it feel like just another money trap.

It is an side scrolling 3-D game with intense and high resolution graphics that adds amazing effect to the visualisation of game. I liked the cute creature as a main character that can fly and go through the haunted surrounding jungle . This game provides many power ups, by using it one can increase or decrease time of moving speed and also increase and decrease size of main character a accordingly . Multiple traps and hurdles are there in between the paths and offers multiplayer , LAN options.

This is definitely one of my favorite games of all time. There is only one issue I have apart from the whole premium thing. The version of this game that is/was available for amazon fire is broken. About a year ago, the game's audio on that platform started going haywire even when audio wasn't supposed to be playing. It still does to this day. I don't know if this version was abandoned or what, but I would appreciate an explanation as to why it broke, and why it is no longer available.

Always going to be my favorite game. Sounds are all phenominal. The darker but strangely cute visuals are perfect. It's challenging but not frustrating at all. I bought this game almost 5 years ago. Recently I got a new phone and all my progress was lost and I can't tell you how happy I am that happened. I almost forgot how good this game is, the visuals, the sound, the difficulty all perfect. I think if I did the math of enjoyment received vs cost this might be the best purchase I've ever made.

This is a side-scrolling platformer that is high in quality of product, development, imagination and artistic quality. But it is too dark and depressing. A group of little cuties are trying to survive/escape, traversing dark creative killing places that kill some of them as they get through different tough areas; SO, NOPE. I need more survival success in my gaming when real life is really rough.

I used to have the full version of this game on iOS years ago and absolutely loved it. The design, the controls... everything's extremely well-made. I downloaded it from the play store intending to buy the ad-free version. I'm very picky when it comes to phone games, but I believed I would be hooked again and that paying for such a stunning game was worth it. However, after playing for some time I started to get angry - the amount of ads make the game unplayable, which made me change my mind.

This is the greatest mobile game I have ever played. It's a lot like LIMBO in a way (If you like this game I would suggest it.) And it's chock full of little secrets and details that I barely notice, but help make the BADLAND world more immersive. I seriously love how you can make your own levels to add replay ability to it. Thank you so much and keep up the good work!

I played this game a few years ago and I was able to complete all the levels, though I forgot to give it a rating. Badland is by far my best mobile game. I tried badland 2 later on but I didn't really feel it like its predecessor. It's a very lovely and addictive game filled with lots of adventure, and the sound effects.... OMG. I don't care about the ads. No matter how many stars the review limit is, I'd give it all to badland. Kudos to the developer(s). I'm definitely re-installing it (:

The game itself is phenomenal. The only problem is that there are SO. MANY. ADS. Like every 30 seconds i get an add! I know it's how you get payed but jesus christ! Lay off a little! But other than that, it's great. Keep up the good work! (also stop constantly promoting premium)

I remember playing this when I was about 6. It didn't have as much ads. But other then that it is super fun! I love adventure games and this is perfect. It has a pretty nature theme and much other things. Also, if you want to remove ads you need to buy premium which is annoying. It asks you buy premium everytime you die or finish a level. I prefer the old version of the game. It's amazing I recommend this. ❤

I had this game on my PS TV (don't ask what it is, it's basically a ps but can't use a disc and can use a psp as a controller) and i loved it. sadly, i wasn't able to easily play with my little brother since we only had one controller for a bit, but we got one eventually and he got to play with me. i would give it 5, but i never really bother rating things. and when i do, i usually don't give context. this game was good enough for me to take the time to talk about it.

a big childhood for me, this game was absolutely mind twisting and most satisfying game. no bugs, no problems you might find yourself in a struggling level, but just try it over again until you find the right technique. this game is an absolute, stunning piece of art you can find on the Google Play Store. And I just wanna say Thank you For making this game because this game is breathtaking (Keanu Reeves Reference) But if you make more games just like Badlands, you'll Lighten My Heart

THIS. THIS is what you call a good game. It's fun, a little hard, and addictive. My only problem with it is the amount of ads. It keeps asking if you want to upgrade to premium. Almost everytime I die it shows an ad. Sometimes the ads are short and skippable, sometimes they're really long and unskippable. A few levels are hard, but you'll find a way to beat eventually. Otherwise, it's a really good game. You should definitely try it. You won't regret it! I rate it 4 stars only cuz of the ads. 👍

The game itself is great and beautiful. It's really wierd, but that's what's so charming about it. The only issue i have with this game is that it has TOO MANY ADS. Seriously, it really goes on my nerves that i get 30 second ads several times in the time span of one minute! It makes it unplayable sometimes because i get ads when i die (and that happens a lot) which is really unfair and frustrating. I understand the devs are trying to make some money but for God's sake make ads appear less often.

definitely one of the best mobile games out there, it really feels like a game that could be played on the concles or the Pc and it is my favorite mobile game. its a fun game where you are this black creature and you go around beating levels. Now I really like how the free version only plays adds when it needs to but I think this is one of the few games that you should actually pay to get rid of the adds because it adds so much to the game, I am surprised this game was free to begin with.

Brilliant! Just an absolutely fantastic game! I would've given it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the version I'm playing; the free version. It's still good, it's just almost everytime you fail or complete a stage it bugs you about the full version, and everytime you say no, it shows you an ad. I get that this is marketing, but it would be food if you can tone it down a bit. (P.s: Please add another sound setting which regulates how much sound there is, instead of the volume of it)

Alright, the ads are absurd, a truly scummy way to operate. It never used to be like this, but I suppose it's a result of the current trend in gaming. This aside, the game is fantastic and absolutely worth the few dollars they charge for it. The art style is beautiful and unique, the levels varied and challenging, the above all it is fun without resorting to the addictive game design we see so often nowadays. Fantastic audio and the multi-player is a great bonus. Definitely worth buying.

This is a rare gem of a game, that deserves All the positive reviews/awards!! Completely innovative in all ways, graphics/controls/ect. You can play offline. I guess the only "negative" thing is the game has 80 levels & only the 1st 40 are free. But these aren't short levels you fly though, the game gets progressively more challenging. I most likely will end up buying the 2nd half of the levels upon completing these, though I'm not even close to finishing them yet. ha. Perfect & addictive game!!

I absolutely love this game. Graphics are amazing and gameplay is addicting. The reason I gave this 2 stars is for how many ads this game has. Yes, I know the developers have to make money which is totally fine. But I just had to watch a 45 second ad in order to pass a 1/2 minute level. Please dim down on the ads, it is really frustrating to me.

Nice looking game, but pretty repetitive without much incentive to progress. A story or something besides just basic achievement-type goals might help. The frequency and duration of the ads was ultimately intolerable. After every single level there's a "buy the full version" nag, followed by a fullscreen video ad for something else. Made it about 8-10 levels in before having to bug out.
