Will scan face ONLY if using a phone cradle/holder. Not sure how it knows my waste to height ratio. Currently I work out three times to four times a week and on a whole food plant-based diet. 50%?

As far as it goes, it sems fine. But, I particularly wanted to evaluate this app for BP measuremants...to compare with my current BP device. But, in this app, Anura Lite, I cannot find any BP results at all. I suspect that in the Lite version they are not supported....which I find strange, as others have commented about BP readings on Anura Lite. Am I missing something here?

Initial testing appears relatively accurate, compared to medical equipment. Easy to use.

Opposed to all the other reviews, the app was able to make 3 full measurements even when I held my phone lying on my back. It's somewhat accurate and I don't know if it tries to flatter people or I really have a good skin, but it shed off 10 years of my actual age 😁

cant capture face..not tell whats go wrong tried many times..but still 3 star 4, star ,5 star and nothing happen.. suggest first develop AI to find right face angle. even application doesn't throw the error whats went wrong..just you sit minutes of minutes...

Difficult to give it a review as it shuts down within 5 seconds of finishing the self scan. Looking forward to a more stable version in future.

I downloaded this just curious to test it against my Fitbit sense. I was surprised that the HR monitor was nearly as accurate as my Fitbit (usually over by 1-3 beats only), so I think the HR tech works. But there is no blood pressure estimate that the app description somewhat seems to allude to in the app description. And some of their findings are just based off of the info you give them in your profile set up eg BMI. Waist to height ratio is constantly wrong for me.

unstable always crash

It's sucks, a waste of time, battery and storage space. Doesn't matter how well lit your environment is, how still you keep your phon, it doesn't matter how still you keep your face. It's still never scans you completely. I when it does. It's not that accurate. I may try again after a few more updates

It measures one out of 10 times, says measurement cancelled but doesn't say what to change. It so finicky that is basically unusable.

I should give it one star but I gave it two for effort and what it's hoping to achieve. I was able to download it, sign up, enter my personal data before it stopped working completely after only a couple of minutes. Once it got to the actual camera use, it shut down.

Blood pressure measurement was removed, app now identifies as lite version - but then where is the full version?

Useless app now. It launched to give video BP readings, now they deleted that they should remove the entire app.

It was a great app but no more. Blood pressure measurement was the main functionality which developer has removed.

Great idea, unfortunately it doesn't work for low blood pressure. It's always giving me readings around 120/70 but when I go for check up the doctor reading is 92/60. Way off, not even close. Please test this app and adjust for people with low bp problems (pots etc) Edit: unfortunately they removed the blood pressure check which no other app was doing properly. It would be nice if they can fix it and release again

Previous update removed the blood pressure readings and ruined the app. I was hoping the most recent update would fix this but it hasn't. The description still has a link for information about measuring blood pressure using a camera. Either the BP measurement should be reinstated or the link removed from the description as it is misleading and unnecessary if the app doesn't support BP measurement.

Amazing app. I am a physician and it correlates well with my professional equipment. Uncanny. Super bummed that they removed the BP portion. I hope they put it back in.

I loved this app when I first used it, but then I had a little problem, so I uninstalled and reinstalled and it's back to being superb.

Relatively accurate BP reads. Assesses skin age (differs from time to time), which is important for many women especially.

Good program

Amazing technology! The results I get match or come very close to those I get from medical devices. Creating a 'good' selfie video requires some effort (as described), but results into a wide range of health indicators. I'm impressed by the accuracy the app achieves based on just an image/video. One question: Does my beard affect the skin age estimate?

Great app for the technology and the readings are spot on. However, I too am having sign-in issues. I am not able to sign in and save readings and the password reset does not work either. So it'll be one at a time with no memory or I'll wait for another version. Interesting technology though.

Pathetic registration system. I filled signup form and was waiting for verification, checked spam as well but didn't received any email. There is no option to resend verification email. Then tried forgot pass, it took ages and no respons like busy halted. Without login how come any one can use the app.. very bad user journey flow of this app.

Can't verify email, it just says "verifying your email address" forever...so can't even log in to the app

The app was working up until the last update. The camera freezes up and can't capture the correct reading.

Worked first time for me. Heart rate matched exactly with my fitbit. Very useful app.

Excellent app

Initial problems with server connections have settled down. I have been using this at the same time as I use a BP monitor and have found it surprisingly close. I would feel comfortable using this for quick checks to supplement my monitor and use it as a warning if it shows high to immediately check with the dedicated monitor. Looking great so far and recommended.

It doesnt capture anything. I have tried 8-10 times but everytime it says measurement cancelled. It says face is perfectly positioned within circle and well lit area. But still measurement cancelled.

Very glitchy

Wildly inaccurate - I have resistant malignant hypertension with average readings of 244/158. This app told me my blood pressure was 131/115 - my medical grade arm monitor showed 241/151! I have uninstalled the app.

Measurement keeps cancelling. It says to keep still, I am. It says to keep lighting even, it is. Tried many times to.take initial measurement but it keeps cancelling.

Won't even let me sign up!

I was sceptical, but after a few trial runs I'm impressed by how close the readings were to my actual monitors, heart rate, blood pressure pretty much a match. Even got my age right. Which I was a little disappointed with as I like to think I look younger than I am.

Amazing, accurate technology!!! Yes, it can be a bit difficult and frustrating to get good lighting and positioning for a more accurate reading, but when you figure it out, the results couldn't be more accurate.

I downloaded it.It said I was having problems,and it would upload details of the problem.This took a long time.The app never really tried to look at my face or take a video.Exactly what was it uploading, and why for so long? I have used hundreds of apps in the past without problem, and my WiFi is fast.

Having downloaded the app it would not allow me to confirm a password, even after four definitely correct password entries. Therefore I couldn't even log in nor register - bit of a non starter really.

I decided to review the app as I am looking for possible partnership with an app that can provide regular BP readings for remote patients. I found the disclaimer taking a 3rd of my Samsung galaxy S10 plus screen very distracting as it implied the readings were not to be taken seriously - so what's the point ? The text and figures were jumbled up on each other when they finally came through as it took forever to get a reading - server availability issues - good idea but not sure its ready !!! App kept shutting itself down and asking if I wanted to send anonymous feedback messages to server. I just wanted it to work !!!

This app is complete trash. After trying about 15 times it kept telling me it had a lighting issue although I tried multiple different types of lighting. Uninstalled!

After the first attempt which worked, now it does not work anymore despite I have re-installed a few times: "anura unexpectedly quit".

This is a very good app. In perfect light conditions this gives a proper perspective on health parameters. I really love this app., again not a substitute for medical check ups, but definitely people should use it more and more, to track their health especially senior citizens or those suffering with hih blood pressure. Great app good work team. I would really love to see how I can export reports over whatsapp or other messengers or even inform more people about this. Kudos and nicely done ✔

This app works very well after the last update (October 2020). Thank you very much devs. The app gives you tons of very useful health related information. I highly recommend this app if you care about the state of your health.

There is no way to get this app to work. I tried every possible light position etc. Would always stop mid way through to the point that my stress level was high enough to want to throw my phone along with the app out the window. Do not recommend.

Thos app is USELESS! IT FAKES THE THE FIRST READING then it tells me not enough light no matter if I am outside or inside.

My parents use this app everyday, it is very useful and convenient. No need to buy Omron. UI needs to be improved a bit

The idea is great in theory, so I downloaded the app. But execution is mildly underwhelming, because I managed to get 1 reading before every other time I did it, under similar conditions in terms of lighting and positioning, I would get a bad lighting error. I think it'll be better in future updates, but until then, I'll stick to my usual methods of getting BMI and heart pressure.

User experience has significantly improved with measurements now possible under poor lighting and also while your head is moving or your hand is shaking. Blood pressure measurement is very accurate.

Excellent app. Good to be sure all is well. Especially for people like me who feel they are fine, but need to be reassured.

Need to improve measuring blood pressure. When i'm measure my blood pressure using Anura, the value of Systolic and Diastolic have much different (not accurate) with medical grade blood pressure measurement using cuff. But i'm sure that this software have potential future to have accuracy of blood measurement, thanks for Anura team hardwork

Recent update that includes blood pressure and heart rate variability is very powerful. Even if accuracy is off a bit, this makes early diagnosis of chronic disease more accessible.

Every time I've tried the app has cancelled at about 15 seconds in and told me to try again. It's a waste of time, don't download. I'm quite disappointed. I was hoping to be able to have a cool and easy way to see my stress levels and blood pressure.

saw this video on engaget and tried it today, it works for showing your heart beats per minute and apparent stress level. im using a pixel 2 XL. UPDATE: I USED THIS WHILE IN THE DOCTORS OFFICE AND THERE RESULTS VERY PRETTY SIGNIFICANTLY. ALSO, ODDLY, THE CAMERA NO LONGER LOADS SO I CAN'T USE IT. I WONDER IF THIS IS JUST GATHERING INFO AND STEALING PICTURES OF PEOPLE...

I read about this app while doing my daily medical reading, I got it , and it worked a few times, always had problems with low light , it just stopped working, I hope they keep working on it, specially the BP part

It measures thing perfectly. It used to be bad with eh camera stabilization, aka, even a twitch, it would stop the measurement. It seems alright now. I could do a small twitch and it will still continue the measurement. You do need good lighting in front of you. All in all, I love the app.

I have the Samsubg S10 and this app have NEVER worked. The countdown will start but will always stop with between 10-13 seconds to go. Really disappointed because the article I read gave this app such great reviews. Such a shame.

This is an idea in progress. It needs to be fine tuned, but it will be a revolution if it works. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S9, and I have issues with the selfie camera measurements. The camera will record a heartbeat within 20 seconds, but the full measurement seems to always fail.

The camera is soo dark. I can't see a thing. I have to face up at the light just to barely see my face. Would be a great app if you can fix this problem.

The app is good. However at times it becomes frustrating to get the scan done. Please look into camera stability issues.

The app took several attempts before it final scanned my face. This was due to the lighting conditon. The readings were good and.the analytical work done was good. Would like to see more or diff types.of rrading. Didnt see the systolic reading based on the advert. Will attempt it again

the application stops halfway of using it

Just read an amazing article of all the things this app os working on and how it can help alert people of health issued. Could see helping countries that healthcare isn't easily accessible. Not sure of the camera specs needed or of this app os compatible with all android phones because couldn't get past the halfway mark. With how that article raved about future cutting edge test, it may hurt this app long term. Would be willing to work with you to troubleshoot other wise will delete.

Interesting beginning. I have a Galaxy S9. It took me about 5 tries the 1st time and 2 tries the 2nd time to get a rating. I found the best way was to rest the phone on my lower abdomen staring backup at my face allowing me to have a steady platform. I think the program has promise and I am looking forward to the additional metrics the company will be bringing online. Seems to me like body temperature would be an easy addition .

Pretty useless and finicky, took about 6 tries to get it to work. hrv and heartrate tracking were decent though compared to the monitor I was wearing simultaneously.

You'll need a steady hand. The app requires the user to keep the various parts of the face aligned in the "selfie" durimg the whole of the diagnostic period . If you have trouble lining up checks on banking apps this one might be a bit difficult. Then it only tells you heart rate and stress level.

Garbage. Always indicating some ridiculous reason why it has fail. Like keep your chin on the red mark or not enough light on face evenly. Done everything it asked and tried myriad times. Still fails. Completely garbage app.

After some trial and error the app seems to work very well. Lighting, and device charge state, were critical in getting there app to function properly.

I changed my review on this from 5 star (I figured out how to fix the problems with getting it to complete a scan) to 1 star after it occurred to me after using the app that I was giving away full and highly detailed facial recognition data to a company I don't know, where it could be sold or used to break into biometrically secured devices. I'd avoid this app. it also provides everything needed for a deepfake.

works well with my Huawei P20. Very novel use of a cell phone camera.

Its an amazing app to track your wellness. You can track pre workout and post workout too. Its keeps the record of your previously measured heart rate and stress level.

Worst app ever. the app stopes once you turn on the camera.

Repeatedly says calibrating camera and then unable to calibrate, starting over. No feedback on why it can't calibrate. Recognizing face so don't thing problem is positioning. Waste of time.
