Privacy policy is ambiguous (and their website link doesn't work). Now that it's mandatory to give devs permission to read content of all sensitive notif. messages, are they allowed to store our messages, and to use it for advertisement purposes? Honestly, please, is it not possible to use any different API that would only read notification source, but not its content? (+free users can't even change volume.) I'm looking for loud alert only for messages ignored for many hours-less intrusive first

What is the point of an alarm where the sound level is limited.

It used to be amazing. Last update has broken the app. Everytime it starts an alarm now it does not stop. I have to force stop the app to make it stop the alarm. I bought this. Really sad.

I have been using this app for the last 1 year 2 momth. My friend recommended this app. This app is very helpful for freelancers. I think every freelancer should be use this app if they do not want to miss any client messages. Great app for freelancers

The app worked fine until recently. Most of our company uses it and even paid earlier this year. Now it's being deprecated? And I lost all my settings? And it woke my wife and I up middle of the night.. when there were no notifications? Extremely dissaponted in how this is going. Just leave it the way it was, that's all it needs to be. We don't need AI bullcrap, just a simple alarm addition. If that's how this is going I want my money back. In response to the comment: it worked fine before.

Everything is fine but can't use any kind of tune, I want a quick solution.

Unfortunately you cannot change the alarm audio. When you click "select song" nothing happens so you are stuck with the default audio. I suspect a permissions issue as it doesn't ask for access to local files.

I was using this app but after update it is not working 😕 But I found a similar and perfect working app for my freelancing work. App name (Freelancer Message Alert) this is working good without any issue.

I use this app to alert me to my ageing parents automated emergency system.. Most messages can be ignored, but I need to watch for two keywords for two different emergencies ("panic" and "medic"). I can, however, only add one keyword per application and sender. Is there a workaround, or does the paid version cater for this?

* Update - I factory reset my Samsung Note Ultra 20 and can't launch the app after downloading. Keeps crashing and don't know if it is because of the latest OS being installed? EDIT: reinstalled as suggested, and pro version worked,but need to set all my alarms from scratch again, which is a bummer ORIGINAL: I like this app and use it a lot so decided to purchase, only to recieve an "Error: Invalid Purchase" after trying to buy the Pro version in-app. My card was deducted the amount (credited to "GOOGLE *Al Mujahid Kha"). Not sure what happened, but I can't seem to use the upgraded version. I'll still use the app, but I'm reminded of this error every time.

From my Samsung F62 mobile, it is not at all working. I have reported the issue, but did not get any response till now. I googled and got to know, Samsung OS is killing the application in BG/FG modes. but I have disabled all the battery settings, so that this app is allowed to run and live all the time. but still I am not able to get any alarms. This app is great but I'm really in trouble with the feature call "preparing uplaod". It's remind the alarm notification without any reason which is very irritating. Rarely works, I have a pixel 6 pro. If it doesn't work on this device I can't imagine it working well on any. I even tried to troubleshoot using the suggestions.

It seemed that it did not notify me properly for a while, but then it worked. It seems to catch all notifications now. The app gets automatically muted after dismissing a notification, at least for 10 minutes. No way to set no muting option. That's not good because This away I am not getting any notification for the next messages. Still testing it. I will pay for premium soon, probably.

Not for me. I struggle to notice calendar notifications among others. I need an accessibility app that lets me set alarms when calendar notifications appear. Things this lacks: don't stop until I cancel. Set custom snooze time every time. Repeat alarms forever. Choose any sound, but just 30s long ones (default alarm tones on my phone aren't allowed). Better control over when it's active like when on vacation or at night.

Why your app don’t work since few days. O have tried many times it works for 1 or 2 times and then it is not working

It's really good at what it does, but I'm looking for something that only activates at night, and the on off timings for the alarm doesn't seem to work. I set the alarm to only be on at a certain time but it seems to not adhere to that setting and goes off in the middle of the day, usually during class which is very awkward.

Didn't work at all. I approved Messages and added my friend's name for a test run. Got no notification on Do Not Disturb or otherwise. Support only works through WhatsApp which I don't have. Guess I'll have to figure something else out to be notified about how my mom's surgery goes tomorrow...

Well, the alarms are not really instant. There is a delay of several seconds. In a life-or-death situation could matter. Why can't the delay be reduced?

It serves its purpose, but not a native Android alarm, it is a high volume audio stream. The drawback is that if your earbuds are jacked in but not in your ear (you fall asleep and the buds fell out, as I often do) you will miss the alarm. This does not occur with a native Android alarm which sounds both sinks, speaker and earbuds. Will probably upgrade to pro as the application works very well for my daytime use. Three stars until the app supports native OS alarm functionally.

I purchased this app and can't use the pro version for last 1 month. I contacted many times with the support team but they didn't fix the issue rather asked a day every time to get it fix. Worst service I ever get for a pro version of app.

Very good app, I am a student. I go to class and make the phone silent or vibration mode. But Message Alert still playing sound. When I go for masjid for prayer, same thing happened. So, please add a function that will play only vibration alert (not sound alert) when phone is in silent or vibration mode.

I really like the app would gladly pay for premium; however, because of sensitive data processing and vague privacy policy that doesn't exclusively state it stays on my device only, I with regret uninstalled it. My sensitive data shouldn't be sent around the internet to "improve service" or whatever that means. Feels too connected to the internet. Second reason why I uninstalled it is that the notifications are muted for 10 minutes, no option to have constant notifications. Please fix

Simple and useful. Free version accomplishes the objective. I have it triggering an alarm when a text comes in with a specific phrase in it. It works like a charm. It's not super featured but may be worth a buy for the features available nevertheless.

I don't get what people's problem is. It's an *alarm* not a notification. It's so you can for example go to sleep whole still waiting for a message at night (Like what I need it for right now). You can just remove the application from the list once you've received your text and you won't get an alarm instead of a notification again. Anyway, great app, sadly very misunderstood! This is exactly what I needed!

App is a joke. Developer thinks I can't read that it's not a regular alarm app. I'm not stupid, every alarm sound on every phone is under 30 seconds but your app only allows over 30 seconds. Are you stupid?? Also you have to pay 8.99 to vibrate aswell as ring. Wow

Super annoying. You get a message and it turns the tone up full blast way louder then my phone even gets and you turn it down and it won't stop doing it. I'd only use it if you are nearly totally deaf...

it seems to work, but the inability to choose a notification sound that is just 1-5 seconds is incredibly annoying. Why on earth would you force me to pick a 30 second alarm sound? This is a notification app, not a music app. Now when i receive an notification, i have to scramble to dismiss it to avoid listening to a 30 second barrage of sounds, especially when I'm in the middle of a Zoom call. I am really considering uninstalling it. The aggravation and annoyance totally negates the benefits of this app.

I have purchased Message Alarm. Please stop sending notifications like this: "Don't look at your phone, get busy or go to sleep. Message Alarm will let you know when to look at your phone." This type of notification defeats the purpose of your app—to deliver useful and important notifications. How do I turn them off? Today I received a message to buy stock. Have you been hacked? default settings make alarms annoying, but it's not possible to change them without paying. a bit, just a bit of customization would be fair.

I was using this application for some time, but I was scared by it. I had Do Not Disturb turned on and at around 5 in the morning the application sent a notification for their sale. The issue was that this notification bypassed Do Not Disturb and the notification vibration was unnecessary strong.

Alarm still went off even though i muted it. It forces the volume always to max. Need to be able to set volume just for this app. Mute should work everytime properly. Dismiss alarm should always be available rather than swipe down to get to it in the action menu.

Not customizable enough. Limiting limiting the notification sound to 30 second minimum is too restrictive. I want to have a single notification sound that chimes every minute or every few minutes until I acknowledge the notification

While the design and intent is great, the app simply doesn't live up to its promise yet. One, the notification button at the top of your screen blocks other standard Android notifications, i.e. email. Two, rather than allowing your message app to continue using it's custom sound for an incoming message, the app forces your to use an MP3 of at least 30sec on length. Rather, it should simply continue notifying using the message app sound. Other smaller issues, instability, etc.

I do not use this app on my Samsung J4 smart phone. When I open it and click the Get started button after that I hit the continue button but show me 'This feature is not available on this device'. I cannot understand what I do. If app developer give me suggestions I hope , I can use it. Thanks.

Works as advertised. Some mistranslation problems make it a little difficult to set up. But with some trial and error you should be happy with this app.

It would be rated higher, but since I purchased the pro version to support the app and because it said no ads. And yet I keep getting adds in my notification bar every few hours to buy the pro version. It's very annoying and too excessive even if I still only had the free version.
