this is really cool. but I dislike the credit system. even paying for credits means a single novel can be $100 or more for 60 chapters.....if a new chapter was 1 credit a day that would be fine ...but 2 credits is annoying. meaning I'm forced to wait 2 days to continue...let alone have any choices after getting credits.

The stories generated are good enough, but I'm constantly getting ads thrown at me and I have to pay or watch an ad (only get to do that twice a day) to continue the story after the first chapter. If this app wasn't such a money grab, it'd be great.

I love the story potential, I just wish I could get more free credits instead of watching one add every eleven hours for one credit.

Credits needed to continue the story. It's a brilliant app I love that I was able to put an idea in and it could create an actual story, but now I can't continue unless I subscribe and pay a monthly fee, which I'm not down with because I feel it makes zero sense to be using an app only now and again but having to pay a subscription just to create one story

Please allow PM-ing users, & more control of writing stories. EDIT: WHY do I keep getting messages saying to "Read a chapter, watch an ad, earn credits"?!? I LITERALLY do these at midnight so I don't have to set ANY time aside the next day to do it!

I love that they added it to where it is now twelve hours instead of twenty four hours for the points so you can do two bucks a day for the pages instead of one which for ones that write books and have multiple ones going at once , is a big help🥰

amazing app. I've been using it since February and it is only getting better every days. if you join the discord, the devs are very active there. They listen to the community. When there is a bug, they deal with it pretty fast. The app is getting updated frequently. Try it and enjoy 😊

it is a good app. whatever your fantasy is, you can just write the description down, and it will make it for you. good also for language learning; you just press on the word you want, and it will give the option of translation and also the meaning of it. though not all languages are there, plus sometimes they don't give you the definition of the word.

They say its the best AI for writing when the dialogue it gives is terrible, snappy one liners all the time. Same as any other AI unless you ask it not to do that. And the credit system is terrible for free users. You're better off just reading on AO3, don't bother with this.

I like Okudu but don't like how the new get credits work

I find this app to be quite enjoyable. I have had ideas for fan fictions for quite a while, but lacked the confidence to write them. This app allows one to enter an idea and just see where it goes. You don't have to have the whole thing already planned out, but it does help to have an idea of where you want the story to go. The ai writers seem to have a bit of difficulty with time though, often jumping around on what day it is in the story.

I find it funny how Okudu put me on time out for sharing another book make an app when I was not even the first one to share it on there so maybe before you put me on hold you should put other people on time out as well and maybe you should go through every conversation on the Okudu Discord about it before you put me on hold because I was not the first one to share it... this comment staying up in tell I am off time out because I now piss off byeeeee 😒

it is the best for stories

Well, since the update I can get into my story better and faster. But, I'm still having lots of problems updating my story and when the audio plays they skip my edits. Edit: It works again! Edit: it only opens with mobile data not Wi-Fi. What is up with your image editor? I can't get the images of my stories to look anything like the original images you created with my description. There's little consistency. Then the backgrounds have nothing to do with the stories.

I would love to read it higher, but I want more options. And I want to actually edit the image that is shown because I have very specific specifications for how I like my characters. When it comes to them appearing on a cover, I even already have images pre-prepared. I wanna upload those images. I love how it is so far. It allows me to have a draft ready for when I actually do the real book cause I've been trying to figure out where do I start? When it came to writing my story? please change it

when I tried to save my changes, a pop-up comes up and says "uh-oh, something went wrong please try again", please fix that

have enjoyed this app for a few months now, and have upgraded to creator plan for 100 credits a month. but with the new update of restricting any sort of mature content on the app, as an adult reader, sort of takes away the appeal. I understand the reasoning, but as someone using the app and paying for premium as an adult consumer, not being allowed adult content is a bit frustrating and will be considering canceling my subscription altogether, will be surprised if others dont follow suit

Amazing app but I have had the issue where I make a story chapter, it uses the 2 credits and then the chapter isn't there. it has happened a few times and I've lost 10 credits to make 1 chapter. is there a way to get those credits back?

This app is actually pretty accurate when making characters for stories from anything. it was lying when it says it knows the character.

my reviews for this app keep getting worse because this company keeps destroying what was actually good about it. now as an adult reader and writer I am not allowed to write anything even remotely adult on the app but I can on the website?? makes zero sense. not sure why this app hates readers and creators so much not to mention they treat their reader/creators like small children. let adults read and write whatever the heck we want too.

I love this app, but what is with this stupid new pop-up that says mature stories are not allowed on the app? I can't generate a new story over it when there is no violence in the topic and setting writing sections plus the A.I. puts my story as mature when it doesn't give me an actual reason why. Can you please fix this issue so I can create a new story

I tried it on a whim to see if something like this was at all any good but it is impossible to truly write stories. you're better off using Perchance, Google, or ChatGTP for actual free.

So far I really like it. It's a lot of fun to play with, is super quick, and seems to understand what I input. I'm not sure, though, how to go back and make little adjustments or corrections. Or inform the system of things it needs to be away of about characters. But I'm still learning things and figuring things out. I especially like that it feels like it understands the universe I'm writing for, which saves me half the explanations. Overall, I'm excited to see where this goes.

would be 5 ⭐ if there were more options for credits via ads. The chapters aren't that long and you only get 1 ad every 12 hours. More ads for more credits will make it more accessible. OR if the premium monthly subscription was a bit more affordable. Currently, it's similar $ to a Hulu/Netflix subscription but caps credits every month... it's not unrestricted creation like AI Dungeon or other story apps. Wanna give a 5, but it's just too expensive. Please make more affordable and I will revise.

It's a great way to make stories and flesh out character lore and ideas. However, I do wish there were more ways to get credits, or that we at least got more than only two.

Amazing 👏 positves-Easy to use. Amazing storylines that you can either use or promt to tell your own story. I do the latter. You can write adult themes to a point, but you must keep it private. The artwork it generates for your story is beautiful. Both of my MC are simply stunning. It narrates stories.Negatives - It takes a while to learn how to use the prompt successfully, which means using credits to alter.It will over use simalies and repeat phrases.I'm sure you can ask it not to do this.

I love the whole concept of being able to write a book and ai just brings it to life for you. What I don't like is how it charges credits for almost everything you do on their. Also it freezes alot... But what really frustrates me is how it basically forces it's own plot in your book even after you basically change the topic and it still brings it back in.. Every min and words are being paid for so it's only rite to give a customer what they choose.

I absolutely HATE how I wait days just to have enough credits to make another choice for the new chapter in my story but I don't even get to pick. I click on the story, then seconds later the app is making the decision for me. and the choice it makes for me doesn't even live up to the vision I'd be imagining for days before the illusion of choice gets ripped away from me. Then I have to wait another couple days, and when i finally get enough credits, it happens again! please fix this.

I love it, but two things I do gotta warn for new users: 1) the Ai reads with you. if you have the app on multiple devices and you get further along the story on one device then switch to the other, the other device will have dropped details from previous chapters or re-add details that were resolved already. 2) always check the background and additional notes sections when making new stories. those prompts will carry over from previous stories you build.

I for one, would like to see the website's character limit for creating chapters increased back to six thousand, I'd like to see the app's ability to write accurate, adult-oriented chapters improved, and I'd like to see the voice over's ability to pronounce words correctly improved. Other than that, the app, and website are great.

similar to OOC but better as it doesn't falsely advertise itself. story chapters are not on the lesser side a length, even if you choose larger chapters as an option unfortunately. still better than most similar apps released currently.

Revising the app to respect the anonymity protocol will result in enthusiastic re-evaluation.

Too expensive for a cellphone application

OMG I LOVE IT ❤️ my favourite thing to is make stories about anime characters I love, but one thing I hate is how you need to have credits for anything to work. Also you can read other stories for free those ones do not need credit luckily.

Great app, as someone who write alot of plots to story's but can't always figure out how to write them, it's perfect. however the pricing for things is not the best. for starters the fact that everything doesn't cost just 1 of the in app currency is mad. there is no need for a new chapter to cost 2, there is definitely no need for the ability to turn the story into a pdf to cost 5. especially when even with the subscription, you have limited coins given to you every month. it's kinda scummy.

The writing is quite good in the stories. My only gripe is the system of the tokens. You run out fairly quickly. I wish there were more excessible ways to earning them aside from the limited options there.

This app is excellent, but we would like to have more ways to get credits. We do not mind watching ads, chain them even. I wish to have more credits in a short amount of time instead of having to wait 2 days for a chapter.

Updating my review now that I've had more time using the app. I really like this for making stories, it's much better than some other AI I've used because it's actually consistent with the details throughout the entire story. It doesn't mix up characters or forget what is happening after awhile. It will even mention things from previous chapters that I forgot about haha

The app is easy to navigate, but offers no real need to login after 21 days. If they reset the milestones every 30 days without the disruption of the daily streak then it would be better.

need more rewards for reading streaks. km at 40, 19 days after there were no more rewards, and I feel no reason to continue because of it edit: yeah thats good and all, but the point im making is that it gives no motivation to keep it going. now at 45 days, and there could of at least been one more reward in that time. there's not enough that's for sure.

it is a great app because you can choose how many points you want to pay for and if you get the premium thing the only do you get 30 points a month if you keep paying of course premium voices and no ads in between chapters but it also allows you to edit pages for free at least mine does and that's something it doesn't tell you which is awesome

I'm getting frustrated. I can't afford to make any in app purchases and I'm sick and tired of the 1 free credit a day with the one add. I'm tempted to uninstall and find a different app for fanfiction generating. Update: Only 1 free credit a day then it's uninstalled. Also NOT recommended for low income users. This app is obviously meant for the rich.

The concept is good, the app can be fun and help writers figure out how they want their stories to play out. However it's not the most user friendly as I have found certain parts of the app are not very self explanatory and ya have to keep messing around to figure it out. that is a little frustrating. I haven't used it long though so I will give it more time to see if upgrades are made to improve it.

Really, really cool idea. The execution is actually really good, too. The AI, for the most part, delivers intelligent and interesting stories. However, the AI can forget important details and make some errors. This doesn't hurt the experience, really. it's just something that can be improved. The part that hurts the app the most is the $. A premium subscription is $10+, which is a hardly MICRO transaction, and you can't even finish 1 long story between that and the free currency. If improved 5☆

it replaces everything I wrote myself, forces me to use my tokens over and over again only to not be able to make anything trying to get it correct. until it can write the stories a creator intends it will forever be less than 1 star.

was difficult to really give a star rating, feeling it is a 4/4.5 app in terms of it's ability to create and work with what you give it, it (from what I've seen) remembers details, doesn't push them all to the front but will bring them in when it fits but I'd probably rate 1.5 because of the limited use when free is practically nothing and when paid is one or two chapters a day if you spread everything out, if you don't you do end up waiting a month to continue creating

I have a new issue. I just spent 1 credit to generate a character image and it charged me the credit and said error occurred and didn't generate an image. If I don't have the image then give me back my credit. I've spent money on this and I want to have what I paid for please fix this. I don't appreciate losing that credit for nothing.

the story's can be engaging and fun if you put the effort into them but I messed up I was halfway awake and I thought I was signing out if my account but in reality I'd hit the account delete button witch is for some reason right below sign out and in my sleep I didn't actually ready what it said when I clicked that second yess and I deleted everything of corce realizing what I did shocked me fully awake but by then the damage was done and I'd just gotten to the last parts if my story 😭

I have never seen such a good app on telling stories. you don't have to bu anything to make the story's. It's fantastic to make your own stories, and I recommend it for people who love reading, writing drafting, or simply brainstorming stories

sp far, this app has been great. whether creating a story, or simply interacting with stories arelay made and presented, even though not everything can be made as an action, with directives in the prompt before each chapter, or simply reading the stories of others to gain inspiration to make stories later on, even gaining the credits to continue the story is actually available for purchase, it makes the passing time pleasant and nice.

Decent enough but honestly far from being the best ai story writer. There are others that are far more creative, completely free and allow you full creative control. Don't waste your money on buying credits from this place.

A wonderful app full of stories whose possibilities are endless. The only complaint I have is creators can't directly download the cover images of their stories to the devices for personal use.

I'll admit, this app is amazing since i can make i own fanfic ideas for the fandom. Even make my own characters or AU Characters (Example: Vigilante Deku). Just one thing i like to give a note about. You know that "Write your own beginning" Bar to start your story ot "Write your own Next Chapter" Bar at the End of the Chapter after your Chapter is Finished? Yeah, I was kind of hoping the pages would be longer than 30 for it to be long when you add "Longer Chapter" for the Story. Just Saying.

I love this app! Its very intuitive and I have a lot of fun with the characters and story ideas I have. I love how it expands upon the ideas I have. I do wish the app had better organization on the stories you create and more options on how much credits you can get. I saw they removed 100 credits for $50 and 500 for $230 and added 50 for $28 and 200 for $100 and 1000 for $500. I'd like to have 100 for $50 included back. I understand AI is costly but having multiple buying options would be a plus

I really enjoy it, its fun, entertaining, and really the only ai story maker I can find. But my reason for a 1 star revier, I can only make 1 chapter every 24 hours. So for that reason, I'm not gonna waste my time anymore. The reward system sucks, you get 1 credit for a 30 second ad ever 24 hours. You can link your social media and all that, but if you're like me and dont use any social media, then don't bother wasting your time. Yet another app I dont get on freebies for not using social media.

Didn't even get to check out the app before I got slammed with the paywall. It's not worth the data. just another app that wastes your data leads you on, leaves You angry that you have to delete it. and you just wasted a bunch of time to find out. It doesn't do anything.

so far im on chapter 6 of my first book a quick video every day gets you 1 credit which can make another chapter of a book i think the surgestions it uses for the plot are beilliant and you can also type your own chapters which is what im doing highly reccomend you try it out for yourself

If I add a blank character profile to my story and name it something like 'extra details', could I theoretically use it as just extra room for details on other characters that wouldn't fit it their profiles? I wanted to ask before I tried it.

The app is good, but don't get it if you're low on cash. I love it a lot, but had to use three accounts to make three books alone, I did spend money on all three accounts, but things are tough and I was forced to delete it due to the new policy of no several accounts while on the same device (I think, that's what I understood). I loved the app, it wrote great chapters, but I really couldn't keep putting more and more money into it and not being allowed to get more free credits. oh well (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

absolutely perfect, when it's not glitching. glitches from personal experience are-during chapter four in every story attempt the story generates a chapter completely off topic, or changes everything about several characters or repeats the same day, it also registers a 35 year old human as being younger than a 21 year old human. lately it keeps saying error try again while generating chapter 2, and 7 out of 8 times it does not return the tokens it uses and charges per attempt.

love the app love creating stories but theres sometimes inconsistency. and i really don't like how a event would happen in the story far away from other characters and they know it happens. its like no you shouldn't know that haha not yet anyway

It was working fine and then wrote a prompt for a new chapter in one story and got an error message and now I can't update any of my stories.... I am hoping it is just a temporary glitch because I LOVE the app.

I love this app! It’s been great watching it evolve and seeing creators gain more control over their stories. My biggest frustrations (AIs being auto-assigned and subscription credits expiring after a month) have been resolved through recent updates. I'm incredibly grateful to the devs for their continued dedication. Their efforts have made a noticeable difference!

it's taking longer and longer to generate a story i start it at 6 pm it's now 7:32pm. it now just simply refuses to lode even if I make sure my phone is cold down.

app was working perfectly fine and then stopped creating chapters randomly. uninstall and reinstall, delete cache, log out log back in, nothing fixes the issue.

its really great and I enjoy the app its just the pay wall is a little steep but im okay with it. I keep getting error when I want to continue the story.

Its good, but sometimes can completely miss the scenes that feel important. Easy to use, good pacing otherwise.

its good app but the credits isnt gonna refresh the next day so if you subscribe with 30 credits thats it, wait for the next payment to get another 30. thats too little to be honest. no refresh of credits even if you subscribe.

this platform kind of fills in the blanks for when you're trying to write a story but not sure where to go with it. granted you can edit it as you want but besides that it kind of takes a rough estimate of what you want and runs with it so to speak. so all in all a good app.

Charging double credits just to tweak or edit a chapter completely kills the creative process. Other platforms, like the Sakai create remix and play app, don't penalize users just for editing their own stories. Your 'double cost' excuse is a blatant cash grab—give us a fair edit window or stop double-dipping.

This would be 5 stars if there were more ways to get credits, the 1 a day by watching an ad isn't enough. It's a paywall. I want to make a few chapters for the book that I'm working on the app, not have to wait 2 days to get the chance to make said chapter. It should also be optional to put in the fandom link to a character if you're writing a fanfiction, you can't condense the entire character's background, values, history, etc. into 1500 characters (not words, characters including spaces).

honestly I never leave reviews, but I really enjoy this app, the AI is very smart and remembers almost everything, its fast for how much it has to work to generate a chapter, the pricing is expensive but oh well its quality so I dont mind, my only gripe is that you cant go above a 17 year old rating, like I get it but im a sucker for grim dark stories and this app will allow you to write about stuff like that but you gotta choose your words carefully to get around the ais restrictions.

In general interesting, but not what I expected. limited chapters/choices within a story and without subscription u don't come far. in generally good for story creation, but not for someone who loves to dive into stories and explore them in a deeper sense in long term. usually I would give 3 stars but I'm super annoyed by those kind of subscription apps by now

I loved the way the AI writes but the credit system is extremely upsetting. the prices are ridiculously high and you only get one credit for watching an ad and are only allowed to do so once a day. it is incredibly greedy and unfortunate for such a great system. Will be deleting unfortunately.

i absolutely love i like the stories people have created and i like the fact that you can either read them or listen to them

This is such a cool app! It makes really good stories. When I downloaded it I assumed it would be typical average stories with minimum information, but actually it takes all the information you give about characters and settings, and makes a really fun, engaging story. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is bcs to create stories/ new chapters you need credits, and this is just my opinion but credits are so overpriced. And you can only get 1 free one when you watch an ad per day. Otherwise so good!

kept stopping when I was on audiobooks, kicked me off, but a fairly good app. going to try to delete and re-download the app to see if it helps.

I really love making my own stories but the ai sometimes do it's own thing but still really helpful

a good app for children to use

this great getting idears out your head and giving them a frame work you can build on. Just need to pull it back from trying to finsh the story to soon some times. all and all happy with this
