I used to play this game almost 10 years ago (back when there were no ads) I stumbled upon it once again and decided to give it another shot for the sake of nostalgia and good memories THE GAME IS JUST ADS NOW THAT IT'S UNPLAYABLE I'm ok with ads and I get that it contributes a lot to the devs and growth but put in consideration that many old players are quitting because of the increased amount of ads

hey this game is fun, but genuinely, YOU GOTTA NOT HAVE THE AD PREPARE MIDGAME. ignoring the sheet quantity of ads, when I am in a dungeon I notice a severe lag that I have now understood is the ad preparing when I complete said dungeon. It makes the core gameplay difficult to handle, nigh impossible depending on the dungeon structure, and this needs to be fixed because I do like the game its fun, but there must be a workaround for this.

It's a really fun concept thats made really well. I don't really like how "gamble-y" it feels but it's really fun.

This is absolutely one of my favourite games for Android. But the things that really bother me are the lock system, which makes you try to get into a dungeon or if you're out of keys, makes you watch some ads or wait endlessly until they're recharged. And as always, people who pay for the game get a better defence and bonuses. So overall it's a nice game, but you need some patience.

This game really needs a special button to upgrade traps instead of requiring players to directly tap on the traps, because when stationary traps are overlapped on each other, it can make it hard or even impossible to tap on one of the traps, thus making you can no longer upgrade your traps unless you change your dungeon's layout first. Please developers, add a dedicated button to manage all of player's trap's upgrade and skins. Thanks. (Edited from 3 to 4 stars for developer's response.)

I have played this game for six years and it still is super fun. Although, the XP system is not good. you need level 21 to put bigger gems in and its too hard to get levels, I litetsly got only 2 level 19 accounts in six years.

King of Thieves was the very first game I installed on my phone when I was a kid, when it first came out. The core gameplay is still good, but the game is completely intoxicated by ads and pay 2 win microtransaction pop up windows. It's sickening and ruins the entire experience, to the extent that I quit the game to avoid them. Bad stuff devs

Luck-based retrieval of gems is a ripoff. 6 re-rolls and I couldn't get my gem back with a flawless raid. Spent $5 to get nothing in return. On top of that, some people's dungeons are literally impossible or have frame-perfect timing.

P2W game that allows use of tas to create dungeons. Requires that you spend crazy amounts online if your f2p, probably people with mechanisms to stay online. Fun concept, just need to be rich or extremely lucky. Edit: Revisited Sept. 10, 2026. Still feels fun, but the p2w aspect still too heavy. You get robbed if your not paying, you lose your gems if you can't pay. The dungeons are unbeatable still and the report option does nothing it seems. Got a response from support, so they still there.

I used to play this game all the time when I was a kid, it was my favorite one. It used to be ad free, or the ads were optional at least, but now you get hit with an ad every few dungeons, and they shove so many pay to play options in your face. King of thieves USED TO be a good game, now they're only in it for the money, not the memories the people make along the way.

it was ok i tried looking past all the crammed in in game purchases, which is almost every open tab you can click. I remembered always wanting this game as a kid. Though as I came back I noticed even what was from back then that no one plays this game. It has everything going for it only problem is that the devs are greedy more than the angry birds and pvz devs. Its a good game. I got past enough where I have stopped when I was a kid. If you want to play know that this is not going to be fun.

it's the closest to Super Meat Boy on my phone that I've found, and just as good considering the controls. 2D Platformers are something we need more of on this platform, and while the controls are technically that of an auto-runner it scratches that itch. I'm just hoping for a sequel where instead of *just* tapping to jump and wall jump you get the option to tap left or right. So you can switch direction without wall jumping, while still being able to do everything you could before.

In my opinion this game is the best mobile game ever. The only one I've played In a consistent way. I grew up playing it with my cousins and I'm playing it now, thank u for making such a masterpiece

so you apparently you have to let people steal from you what's the point in designing your own dungeon if you're not allowed to save it or you might as well just place the treasure chest next to the door and not even bother with traps... also you need to change the name of this game to "King Of Parkour" then it would actually makes sense on why you can't fully protect your treasures

Fun when you start off but once you hit lvl 45, you immediately get thrown into hell, everyone's bases have pixel perfect fully upgraded everything, hacked bases, hacked profiles, people at least spending $500 on their account. The company also is super slimy and greedy for money, scamming you or making sure you lose so you have to pay, like once you win a base and actually get a really good reward it'll just log you out and say "yea you never got this" when you actually did. Don't play this.

I first downloaded this game back around 2013, it was so fun and always challenging and competitive. I redownloaded it after a few years of not playing it due to getting different phones and losing my old game data. very excited to restart from the beginning. highly recommend this game, a lot of games these days require a lot of money spent to really get any progress or enjoyment but not this one. after redownloading its pretty much the same essentially which is extremely refreshing

Classic gem thats been chipped away at by ad spam and constant attempts to trick players into spending money they might not even have. i remember playing this when it was owned by "ZeptoLab" it was never this bad back then... players don't want a dozen ads trying to get them to spend (gamble) money in their face before they can even play the game. And players CERTAINLY don't want to open this game just to be forced to watch PORN ADS!! Bring back the versions KoT from 2010-2015...

first with the negative aspects of the game, it's really, REALLY pushy with the ads. I purchased a pack from the shop, and they give u a nice sticker saying "no ads". yet I still get them, after only completing 1 or 2 dungeons. and they still want me to purchase another pack, promising no ads, what a joke. nevertheless, I like everything else about it, u can design your own dungeon and have a lot of creative freedom, and the guilds are cool too

do not play this game unless youre confident youre ready for an impossible experience, half of this game's playerbase is infested with cheaters and if you use a ghost potion or solution after you leave, you will clearly see the ghost having the hacker's traps pass through it multiple times. if you're trying to get all of these hackers out of the game, make an option to in the report section. (edit, they have made a way to do this)

Far too Difficult, if you're not already Gifted in Anticipation, Planning, whatever, this is an absolute Slog to Progress in. Since all You'd ever do is Trial and Error if You don't Have/Use Power-Ups, You are Barely Awarded anything for each Attack.

Name fits the game. Infernal pay to play. At first u won't notice it coz they give u fair share of things to cover regular expenses, but once bonuses stop flowing - ggs for ur wallet. - Want a decent progression? Pay - Want to play more than 2 heists an hour? Pay or play them PERFECTLY - Want to get a gem u got with 3 stars? Sorry, u still won't 50% of chance, so pay and get it. Pay for crucially efficient upgrading system, pay for extra modes. oh and ads every 5 minutes is another thing...

Do not usually leave reviews but this game is pointless. Game mechanics completely broken and exploited. People either break the game through developer error or with hacks. I took my character to level 16 and non of that progress was fun. Just another game ruined by ads and hacks. 0/10. The usual generic response. 90% of dungeons and people playing are exploiting and using hacks. The game is over 10 years old. Developers don't care about normal regular players.

fun game but rather annoying. you can pay to disable ads "permanently" but it doesnt disable ads at all to the point where the ads will cut off game play. also half the game is locked behind a pay wall by making you use paid objects during the tutorial, in which you assume thats how the game is meant to be played, only for the game to tell you that its ridiculously priced with real money once you finish the tut. not to mention that in game currency means next to nothing.

make who can attack you be decided by rating instead of level. im under 2m rating and got my 95k gem stolen by someone with 22m rating

for some reason with the latest update it became impossible to play, because usually you get rival's dungeons the same level as yours, but now I'm on level 51 and all the dungeons they give me are 348, 574, 1035 level and so on. of course I can't beat them and it's impossible to play!! I love this game so much and I have been playing it for years now, but this update messed it up so much I just can't enjoy it now at all. I just hope they will fix this and we will be able to continue playing

El juego es entretenido pero se ven mas anuncios de lo que se puede jugar. Las cosas que son al azar no parece que fueran tan al azar como las probabilidades de robar gemas o los minijuegos. Algunas mazmorras son casi imposibles ya que para activarlas se puede intentar ilimitadamente hasta que se logre dos veces seguidas, pero al momento de atacar, no son de pasar solo con habilidad sino con mucha suerte. Me canse por estas razones despues de pocos meses.

extremely repetitive and unfulfilling. winning is not satisfying due to the extremely obscure dungeon designs which require 1 specific solution and the reward/retrieval is luck based. not a good time.

The game started off very well but has lots of balancement issues that create an huge gap between people who spend money on it and f2p players. The amount of time to complete rituals is so big that its impossible to finish one before someone else steals your gems and getting gems back is also nearly impossible unless you are in a big active guild. On top of that you are matched with people that are overlevelled and the amount of keys you get is barely enough to do 1 max 2 matches every day

Honestly, this game is fun and has a lot of potential and I like the fact that the devs made it easier to get orbs for F2P players, but is it just me or the game is just that unbalanced? I tried to do a ritual 5 times, all of those times I got my gem stolen and I had high level traps with a really good set up, not only that, it's only people with stupidly high levels and difficult dungeons that raid me and have 75% chance of stealing my gem for absolutely no reason. This game favors a lot P2P.

I like King of Thieves. The main narrative of you being imprisoned and trying to be the king of thieves again is actually pretty awesome. I also like the gameplay, artstyle, and the excitement of raiding other people's dungeons. Great game 😄🩵

some cons of this game, I came across according to me after playing for years are : 1. sometimes it's too buggy/slow. idk why it happens. no it's not my network issue; I've cross-checked that multiple times. 2. sometime advertisements are very frustrating, if they don't give any rewards. 3. lack of adequate keys and spinning wheel is also not justified. like even after scoring 2 or 3 stars, you go home without any gems. make the wheel more probable for gems for 3 stars atleast please.

Came back playing this games after years. This game is now run by ads. Will have to watch lengthy ads after every few heist. Still not much resources to help out beginners. No tutorials or practices to teach how to counter those new traps I never seen before. As usual, some bases are just impossible to clear, and require insane micro timing to do it right. Gonna uninstall after 5 days of gameplay.
