This is one of the games I remembered playing when I was younger, and thankfully a loophole to an atrocious 4.2.1 update that Cut the Rope got, but at least in this game I can still replay previous levels.

I've loved this game since I was a kid. The only complaint I have is that it's very aggressive with paying for a membership and that pop up appears constantly. Ads are a bit annoying, but compared to other games it's not a big deal. Fun game

absolutely, om nom kidnapped and never found again made me extremely mad back in 2025, i didn't complain about this when i was little, but now, I don't hate zeptolab anymore, I still love cut the rope games, and this game is still very nostalgic and great, I don't retire from playing cut the rope games. but i still think feed the spider is better than cut the rope, but there is still heart in that cheap copy of cut the rope, and changed that 1 star review to a 5 star

horrible sequel to the first one, too many adds , just a money grab, way too many dumb events and popups, just keep it simple like the first one with a few new twists ... the roto is such a dumb and lazy interaction to the game. Uninstalled, never getting it again.

I like this game, it's a bit repetitive, but pretty fun. The cool part is, in between commercials you even get to play this game for short periods of time. it's kinda fun and you get to play about 25% of the time you have it open! then it returns to the two commercials per ad. seriously though, the ads are out of hand! it's just too much. maybe they think I'll be compelled to spend $10 to remove the ads if they do it like this and I'll bet that works sometimes. I don't feel compelled to.

Great game and everything, but you guys need to develop new characters (nommies) and locations because I've installed and uninstalled the game several times after completing everything in the game over and over again. It's getting quite boring don't you think? I've played the game Om Nom Merge before and I'm glad to see that you guys do have more nommies. Why not put them in the game? It's not that hard...

I like this game. it's a part of my childhood, including the 1st version and the series on YouTube. This little Om-Nom (green boy) is my favorite fictional character. I remember when me and my little brother used to play this game on my mom's phone and whenever we used the Ballon it would make an fart sound which was hilarious to us back then. I wished I had a pet like Om-Nom.. Great game.

Too many ads. The ads are all 30+ seconds long and very frequent. I'm not paying a monthly $10 subscription for this game. That's a ridiculous price for a game. A freaking game. I don't pay that for Xbox games that go through years of development and cost money to make. These developers are just greedy. It's disgusting.

I used to play this game all the time even though it was in 2012-2013 and I wasn't even born, but it's a amazing game even the original cut the rope was to! hope you keep the good work up! these ads used to annoy me because they are 30 seconds unskipabble after I get a few attempts... but I cou just turn of WiFi now so ads won't work. and the graphics and characters and gimmicks are amazing!

just a money grab. so frustrated what a waste of my time. I couldn't get through the second level with our ad covering the screen mid game play. not sure what I even clicked on which is a security risk. if you want to make money offer in app purchases.

I really like this game if I go on like a road trip I can play this and it's a good game but I'm playing on an old phone with a Adreno gpu from GS4 and the water levels are yellow. The only way I could play them is going to the menu to see the things in the background. The next problem is when my phone restarts, the app doesn't load unless I keep reopening the app until this menu pops up like Cut The Rope is not Responding. And I pick close app and you have to do this two times for it to work.

I got the pop-up to pay them $10/month for premium after every level after clearing the first 15 or so. I would also get ads after every level and sometimes in the level itself when struggling with a puzzle. Levels are fine. They're challenging. I'm just not interested in having ads and payment requests shoved down my throat.

For what it's worth, I think cut the rope 2 is a worthwhile sequel to the original. Great art style, amazing music. Great new characters that add to the game. I think it's great. My one gripe is that I don't think it really stands on its own feet. This feels like a game made for cut the rope fans. which is perfectly fine. Overall, I really enjoy this game, and I hope people give it a shot.

Was a fun game when I first downloaded, some time ago, just re-downloaded and I can't even play a level without being faced with 30+ seconds in ads. Want to get rid of them? 10$ per month?! Yea the game is fine...it's enjoyable, but like every mobile game this has a lot of ads,this just ruins the experience. Another MAJOR problem is that the levels are way to hard (I'd even say impossible in some cases) cuz if you cut a rope a second later there is a high chance you aren't gonna complete the level so what's the solution? You have to use a hint and how do you get one....well you can buy using coins (which you can buy by using real money or by completing hundreds of levels...)

Not a patch on the original! I completed the original game but this one is so obviously designed to extract money from players: aggressive unskippable full screen adds; clear attempts to force you into having to spend additional money to pass difficult levels; multiple pop-ups telling you to use purchasable powers to complete levels - it's blatantly just an attempt to extract money from players - I uninstall it after the first few levels once I realised what they were up to - avoid!

Experiencing om nom's journey with 4 or 5 new characters was a nice change of pace, adding for a nice challenge and a variety of New levels add to the gimmicks of the first game. Each character adds something unique to the levels, like the first being used as a helicopter, the second getting tons of use out of his tongue, the third getting to higher heights, the fourth getting used to scare om nom, the fifth is a little spark getting used to burn obstacles, the only draw back being the ads

It's great game! Great sequel to the original! However, there are way too many ads, at least 10 ads in the full completion of the first 5 stages, and the cost to diable ads, $15, is too much. I'm never one to shy away from purchasing the ad free version, but no thank you.

This game is adorable, cute, easy, and fun. This game is easy at first but difficult, and that's what makes this game interesting. Yeah, there are too many ads here and there, but I could care 0% and less about the ads. Just close them out. No other way. The animation is smooth, the visuals are good and easy to look at, and Om Nom is such an adorable little Nommie guy, and he's always been. How exactly do they make game animation controllable and interactive? I'm trying to figure that out.

Used to be cute fun....now bloated with ads and forced microtransaction paths. Every 3 tries of a level, forced to watch a 60 second ad that is downright annoying to figure out how to close, even when the ad is over. And then when something happens that causes your candy to stop rolling (even if you intentionally stopped it from rolling to slow the speed) it'll force you to use one of their mtx powerups to get it moving again. Literally will not let you interact with the game until you use it.

I love Om Nom! Great game, I really recommend it👍 I love the contrast in colours, they really let Om nom pop out, and you can easily identify what the candy is. My one complaint is that it gives a very brief description of how to play, but it is understandable because the concept of the game is simple. Other than the introduction to the game being very short, this game is lovely, and my family really loves playing it on game nights. Great game, kudos to the developers!

Using GPlay Pass to get rid of ADs and in app purchases but there are still some ads. That aside the game is rather too easy (even without power ups) the only thing which is outraging is the 'collect X fruits' mode. Plus the fact you need to specifically pick a mode for you to get the star for completion (first run getting 0 stars won't count towards '0 stars' challenge).

Using playpass it use to be great now theres a new VIP button thats super shiney and my toddler keeps clicking it for a subscription service... Play pass is already a subscription service. In addition to that even though O have the no ads upgrade I keep seeing ads and being asked if i want to watch ads... Its not as useful as it use to be this is the second game with an issue like this and I can only assume more to come. I guess its time to cancel play pass.

Lots of fun, much more challenging than the first installment. I'm always a sucker for this type of art style and aesthetic but with all of the monetized items it loses it's charm that had you hooked the first time you picked up the first one. Still enjoyable nonetheless.

Changing my review from 5 star (2017) to 1 star (2023), it is bad how they ruined this game with the crazy amount of ads, every 2 games that you play for 20 seconds you have to fight ads for 2 minutes, ads and pop-ups are beyond crazy, that's insane, also the game trying to blackmail you with getting monthly subscription to get these ads off, I actually can support developers if they have reasonable amount of ads, but this way is called blackmail so no, I'm removing this app and will never buy.

Honestly, i grew up with this game! I love it! Its awesome. If you're connected to the internet there will be alot of adds. All you need to do is disconnect and its a simple fun puzzle add-free game. Never gets boring and works brain muscles! Highly recommend!! 🤩

Pity the developers have gone full cash cow mode. Far too many adds (some the take U straight to google play store with no option to X to cancel, leaving U no choice but to crash out and restart). Plus the added misery of having to wait for a character recharge after 10 minutes playing, or, you guessed it, pay money. Oh, you can get unlimited play and power, for the bargain price of $24. Overall, a big disappointment.

Fun game. I enjoyed the original years ago. But the completionist in me hates the direction they went here. In order to get 3 stars on each level, you must use consumables. I could complete the first and third stars without consumables, but the 2nd star was impossible to obtain on several levels. If you have play pass like me, the consumables are free. But that doesn't change the taste in my mouth. I uninstalled after about 20 levels for this reason. 5* for gameplay, -2 for abusive tactics.

I am on like on 7 th level but let me tell u THIS the BEST GAME EVER ! I like the mini episodes,,nommies,,puzzles, and om nom . It's so fun and in my gameplay there are no gitches or bugs . It is well made but the monetization system is very greedy. The energy bar runs out fast, some of the goals require very precise timing without the use of hints or power ups, and there is a multitude of ads (even when I played it on play pass where there aren't supposed to be any ads).

The most infuriating and greedy game ever. Even when you get this game through Google's Play Pass, you still encounter frequent adverts , sure the in app purchases are free but the subscription option for Cut The Rope 2 is also still there. There is no other game like this on Play Pass, all the other developers remove ads and additional purchases except Zeptolab

Why is everyone complaining about the ads? Like, yeah, it's annoying when you get an ad after dying three or four times, but this is a free game. There's even a 99¢ version that doesn't have ads, if you're that annoyed about them. People talk about the power ups making it pay to win. SO DON'T USE THEM. Really great game. I haven't talked much about it that much, but it's definitely worth your time. 10/5 stars.

I loved these game as a kid. I just wish they never added the popup ads and just stuck with the box at the bottom or top of the screen with ads, the box is less annoying and doesn't interrupt the game ruining your experience, with ads before and after every level and in-between fails makes it unbearable to play after a while. now the only way I can play without getting annoyed is to turn off my phone's internet completely whilst playing, and that doesn't include the popup add for a premium pass.

Love the game but sadly ads interrupt too often to keep my desire to continue. Only wealthy people can afford to "subscribe" monthly to play games. I'd prefer to return to the days I could try the "Lite" version then pay once (ie $4.99 - $8.99) to download it.

This game is entertaining,is a brain teaser, makes me happier, AND IS VERY CUTE. Although there are some down sides... Too many adds to the point where you beat a level there is an add and that is very annoying but it is very high quality and it makes you think in general this game is AwEsOmE ! Four stars

As much fun as this game is, I unfortunately gave up after just few levels. The amount of ads (and their length) is absolutely ridiculous. At least let us complete a level fully before bombarding us with all sorts of ads. When I'm trying different ways of completing a level and just hitting restart, I only manage to get like 2 restarts before the inevitable advert. Unplayable unless you purchase which I guess is the developers point.

I honestly think that this game is AMAZING. The graphics are great and the game isn't laggy at all. The characters are really, really cute, especially Om Nom, who even has a voice. The levels are a mixture between super easy when trying something new, super hard when you get to newer levels and not easy or hard but okay. The only problem is that when you reach one of the gates it gets confusing cause they don't tell how to open the gate. But I eventually learned how it worked. Great game though.

Love Omnom the character and the game is great with logic problem solving levels that increase as you progress.... But the Ads🤬 🤦🏻‍♂️ They come up ALL THE TIME and they take ages to go away. Even after you've waited for it to finish you'll get another static screen for the same app that's just advertised & have to wait even longer for that to reveal the "X" to close it. This game is a lot of fun! Just like the original, except it gives you more stuff to play with! Like there are these little creatures that help you with puzzles later in the game. But wow! I was blown away by this it's so good but it's actually not very easy it can get pretty challenging to the point where I literally had to sit and think about it! What a cute and relaxing game! The only things i would make some changes about is that everything you can do to customize is SO expensive. And its hard to get money. But also its really annoying that the amounts of hints you get is only about 4\5. Otherwise such an adoreable game!! 😻😻😍

You have to use power ups to pass certian levels. Sometimes no logic, pure luck. The first game wasn't as varied but at least it didn't force me to spend money or watch ads just to get coins. Plus the ads actually cause the game crash. Bad game. Edit: i replayed it agter years. I hate it with every part of my being. It actually tricked me into buying 5000 value useless power up and i lost all that time watching ads. I hope the company who made this game go bankrupt.

Absolutely dreamy. But. The only thing that really gets stuck anyone is the ADS, in truth, if there's the choice of restarting levels, passing ones, it's not very acceptable, anytime, trying to cancel ads or weirdly having to wait till ads close. I liked the older version better..had less levels, but it was better being shorter..now it feels like an interminable "Candy crush" where the levels get harder and harder to pass unelss u use different power ups and eventually you're pushed to spend money 🙄 which is totally unworth it 😑 The only things I like are the graphics and new ideas..but that's about it. The game is great. Always been fun to play. But the ad makes it soo annoying. I get it why you guys need to put ads but that much? Also at times some ads can not be crossed and I have to watch the whole 2 mins of the ad! Then there are level which after crossing to open the next level they say "watch a video cartoon to open the next level" wherein I have crossed thr previous levels all and have enough stars to open it. They are just forcing me to watch another ad. You cant force me.

It's really good but the sun energy mechanic is just really annoying. I mean, why make a mechanic that makes people spend less time on your game. I understand that you need to make money, but please do it in a way where it dosen't hinder the player's experience. Or just make the sun energy recharge faster so we don't have to wait for long.

I've had no issues playing, I really like that it changes with each level and adds characters into the mix. I also like that u don't HAVE to pay out money to effectively play this game because a lot of games mostly just want to chatge for everything. I've gotten to level 80 without spending a dime so u don't have to spend $$ to play.and the puzzles are fun to figure out.

This is a pretty good sequel to one of my favorite mobile games ever. The game introuces alot of new obstacles that make the puzzles more intreasting, I also love the art style, it's pretty cartoony and I love art styles like this. However I suggest you play the web or paid version of this game, that's mainly because the free mobile version has a candy system that limits how much you can play, which is just ridiculous. Even still, I'd recommend this game a lot if you enjoyed Cut the Rope 1.

I used to play this game when I was younger (I got all the way up to the swirly top character that acts like a bungi or whatever... for those who are curious...) I just got back into it... I love how you unlock new and exciting characters along the way... It keeps you playing more and grinding for those characters but the only problem is that at the end of the map where it says "Coming Soon!" has been there since the beginning... Which is a problem... It shows the creators are lazy...

Sadly, i had to change my review. This game is a true classic. the problem is after level 5 or so, the game crashes. Now, i currently am using a Samsung A71 so idk if maybe it is the phone itself or it is the game being so old (although i've played older games on this phone so idk). Either way, the game is great, if your phone can run it without crashing.

I love cut the rope and I was excited when I found this version, but I can't even open the app. I downloaded it to my Samsung s21 multiple times but whenever I tried to play the game it would crash before even getting past the opening screen. I'm honestly kinda sad I won't be able to ply this game, was looking forward to seeing the different new characters.

I don't know why but the app isn't opening.. It's just automatically close by itself when I open it in my POCO X3 Pro.. I don't know the specific reason for automatic closing.. But I am able to play cut the rope.. But not this one (Cut the Rope 2)..I cleared data and reinstalled the app.. Still it didn't help.. I hope your team will figure out it before sending an email about this incident?

Cut the rope was one of my favorite childhood games, and I was very excited to see they made a 2nd one. While it's still a fun game with a lot of levels to complete and beat challenges in, I was kind of disappointed to see not only an energy system, but also aggressive in app purchases trying to get you to buy powerups to beat certain challenges, making it pay to win instead of strategic.

Well, at the core this game is just as great as the first. However the devs greed is undeniable at this point. Both this and the first game are littered with a pop-up practically begging you to buy their trash subscription. And if you want to complete all the challenges for every level you basically must have power ups. RIP cut the rope.

Way too many ads... I get they have to support dev costs but it basically forces you to either subscribe for $9.99 per month or pay $14.99 once. I probably would have paid $9.99 once if I was able to get to lvl 10 without there being 50 ads blocking the way. Otherwise the game was as expected. Maybe there are new mechanics further in this version but I was far too put off by the ads shoved in my face to get that far.

Really fun, great concept, and a candy lovingly game I've only just started and I can see this game being the No.1 best Android/iOS game in today's app market. You control the candy and you solve puzzles to get that candy to Om Nom, a sugar creature who loves only one thing... CANDY! There are a lot of levels as it looks like, so you will have a lot of fun times playing this puzzle game, and you will feel the need to "up your game" when difficult obstacles come in your way. When this app got released, it used to be VERY addictive. The reason I am giving this a 2 star is because years later, I decided to play the game today and it got worse. Why? When you finish a level, it doesnt move you to the next level immediately like it used to. This game also crashes way easily than the older versions. Worst of all, Too many ads! Every 2nd time I restart or fail, A freaking unskippable ad plays. Yep, unskippable. I definitely like the very old version better.

This used to be a really great game but now there are so many ads that I cannot recommend this even for children or anyone who simply enjoys a nice puzzle game. This is a good game wonderful graphics and puzzles but the fruit puzzles are like ridiculous I use the same method and I cannot pass it and then the hint uses the same method and passes it I mean what? Please fix it if it's a bug or some thing otherwise a totally wonderful game.i would recommend downloading it and the other sequels to it too.

Couldn't stop playing the other ones, this one isn't even fun enough to want to play at all. Why did you take a great, unique, mentally stimulating game and turn it in to something that looks like it was designed strictly to compete with Candy Crush. Even Om Nom isn't as cute, you made him so shiny and cheap. Some of the challenges don't even make any sense. This isn't even the same game.

I love Cut The Rope games but way WAY too many ads here. Play a level, miss a star after 2 secs, press restart, 30 sec unskippable ad, goof up after 2 secs, restart, 30 sec ad. When you spend more time watching ads than playing, it's no longer a game nor fun. I don't want to but uninstalling.

It's a great game ...... A very good time passer.... But the only problem with it is, there are alot of ads... and the hints should be less costly because it's too difficult to collect alot of money ......It's a great game but after 9 or 10 levels you get bored with it.... The base game is good, its just cut the rope, but the ads and dumbass items are what brings this game down. SO MANY ADS. The game feels like a cash grab rather than a sequel, some medals even require you to use items ( which run out quick and to get more you have to spend MONEY ;) ). The games not worth installing and what they charge for premium isn't worth buying, if you wanted to get the same experience I got from this game then turn on the TV and watch all the adverts and don't watch shows.

This is the best puzzle game ever, new characters and just everything is so fun! The adverts aren't fun but it makes me skip it after a few less seconds so thats great, it doesnt crash for me and you can play without wifi so thats amazing too! Really recommend to cure boredom!!

Over all meh experience. It's fun, but there are some major setbacks. For one, you only get coins by 3-staring a level, which is unfair because some levels are already fairly hard when not trying to 3-star. Secondly, the ads. An ad happens every other fail, restart, and completion of a level which is kinda overkill. Tho I'm at least happy this game does not have a life system, but instead, has a energy system in the form of sun power, which is nice because most games like this have lives so thx.

I only just installed this, and am only just completed level 9, but this game is already so much fun. The gameplay is simple, yet the puzzles make you think, and I like the way they implemented short cartoons into it. I'm looking forward to playing more of it. Omg.. I just CAN'T with the ads. Every single time I restart/fail/play levels, there are... you know what. Ads. They go for 15-30 seconds and I can't even skip them!!? Besides, the characters in this game are way too adorable that I couldn't even resist. But the problem is, when I reached a level that might be the first level with watery areas, my screen keeps showing me white screen after loading. Please search a solution for that.

Insane ads ruin this great game. My son loves cut the rope on his fire tablet, so I got it on my phone so he can play it in a pinch if we're stuck waiting in line, etc. I couldn't believe how frequently he was presented with an intrusive ad that would automatically switch to the play store to try to download some other game. It was like every failed attempt to play a level would kick him out to a 20 second ad. Made it 100% completely unplayable.

This game is so bad compared to the first Cut the Rope. The monetization is constantly thrown at your face (typical mediocre developer choice) and the puzzles aren't fun as they are in the first game, they are way worse, tedious and boring after like 10 levels or so. But it's okay, there are very few special developers teams that can recreate the magic of a good game to its sequel, I wasn't expecting anything from this

This game is a nightmare if you're trying to play it for free. The monetization is constantly in your face, the ads are relentless, and when starting the app you'll be shown a "buy full version" screen and (for me at least) if you X out of it you're given an error message and be forced to restart the app. It's a shame because the first game was great.

for a while I've been looking for a game without Wi-Fi that isn't too boring, too hard, has glitches, or it's just not fun. I finally found the game. 100% recommend! Plus, if you don't want any ads just turn on airplane mode.

Fun game but way, WAY, too many ads. Not only are they trying to get you to spend money on bonus items (expected) but there are CONSTANT ads for other games. And not just when you reach a new level or two but if you struggle on a level you're hit with an ad (that you HAVE to watch) every three or four attempts on the same level. Guess what, instead of getting me to spend any money I'm uninstalling the game.

I hate it when developers make a "free to play" game and somehow manage to drive people into paying within the app. Making on nom tired after playing a number of times requiring you to wait to replenish "sun" or buy the game. Not to mention the annoying ads.

The best experience ever on an app I have ever had apart from the adds that come up every 30 seconds. even when you compleat 2 levles adds come up. adds come up so much you just want to delete the app but you also don't want to delete the app because of its amazing and fantastic pictures. The little people in it are so cute.

A good game. Its simple, but not boring. The ads are a bit annoying, but I dont really mind cause the games so nice . I also love the little cartoons that you can see. I like that we can choose whether we want to watch something.The graphics and pictures are high quality and the game hardly ever glitches. It also does not ask you. all the time to rate it. This game totally deserves 5 stars.

Nice to play when being ill and in bed, worth paying a small amount to get rid of advertisements as there are to much, but I guess it´s only fair the developers get som money for their work and I rather pay a reasonable amount than forcing to watch adds or as in other games not getting that much for your money BUT it should include opening the gates as well, AND it would be nice with a reduced price if you have more Cut the rope games. Strange that there is no explanation about extra tasks like "Eat hypno candy 5 times" but not explaining what hypno candy is or where to find it ... etc. can not find any explanation at all or FAQ. I do not lika "social Media" consider them rather anti social so if information in there not every body can read it there.

This game is good! It is dumb of the "Om Nom is tired" thing. I really do not like lives or anything like that in games, because it ruins your gameplay and really, I sometimes would need to restart a hard level a bunch of times, but the lives get in the way. Other than that, the game is good!

my kid and i really enjoy the game but rather buy it than have my wallet continously siphoned (like most games now). I'd prefer to pay for upgrades or advance levels than be bombarded by ads and asked to shop. id like more entertainment with a lot less interruptions.

I love how fun it is to see the cute monster eat the candy. Watching this game can be so fun! Playing the game is even better! The storyline behind the monster is such a cute and adorable addition! Knowing that I can get free hints by watching a video is so nice compared to other games! I rate 10/10 good job zeptolab!
