I've played this game since I was a little kid, and it has never been more fun to play. I recommend this game to any 2D platformer fan who wants to play good games on mobile without buying anything. However, there are some things that need a little polish, such as how you can't power dash underwater, the golden hearts, and the beach and treetop areas. Plus it's funny how to exit the cave, you have to touch the lava. This game has of reasons to play over the sequel. Heck, play the whole trilogy!

I've been playing this game for years and I deleted it because I needed more space but I downloaded it again like today the game is great but the controls are off I died like three times just because of that but other than that the game is great the parachutes are cool and some are funny the controls are simple and I just love the game.

This is a pretty cool game! It makes me go bananas in excitement whenever I play it. but there's just one problem, when I start to play the game, I immediately get one ad and then another one. is there a way this problem can be solved? because I don't want to pay for removal of ads.

Good as I remember. Solid gameplay, worlds(jungle, cave, treetop, underwater, beach), customization, etc. Only complaints are the upgrades are a bit too pricey compared to banana collection and the ads play AFTER u press play for the first time u launch it. The running animation is cute too :D

This is a fun game where you're goal is to escape an avalanche of banana peels that the monkey created. While running you have to doge obstacles and collect bananas. You also are able to power boost. By power boosting into different things, you go to different levels. I love this game! It is a good time passer or good to play when you have nothing else to do.

Wow! I really love this game so much! It's a nice little fun and endless running landscape game that almost feels like Jetpack Joyride cuz they are both played in landscape mode (duh) but this game is about you controlling donkey kong and running away from a tsunami of bananas and collecting bananas and getting a new high score! and it's also a rage game too cuz you sometimes always keep crashing, but don't worry about it. Always been fun to play. not stressful, rewards are actually rewarding, minimum ads, fun style, etc. the only other thing is i dont know how to escape the cave or the upper level to get back to the main stage haha. but this is a great, fun little game. something to play when youre in a waiting room or dont wanna play an online game.

This was a very good game. But now even if you have completed a mission it simply does not show completed. I ran 10000 Metres in Jungle. Metres left is 0. I cannot skip the mission by watching an add from last 2 years. Its simply stuck there. I tried to clear cache cookies & data. Uninstalled the game & Reinstalled the game again. Still the same issue. The developers of this game simply don't care at all. I have invested my time & money also. Really Sad. Google Play should Ban this game.

My childhood game, it's very good you can become a monkey and cross a lot of different obstacles to get bananas. The bananas help you get power ups, or just a different outfit and stuff. Plus you can ride a pig, toucan, and a snake. Overall it's a very fun game. Have a blessed day.

Amazing game, used to play it many years ago (im 14) and downloaded it again for nostalgic purposes and I was not disappointed . Great offline game ,recommended listening to music (Gorrilaz) while playing 2 problems, you can't use the speed tool while underwater and makes escaping the crocodile a hassle ,especially while trying to beat the objective of 'getting 75 bananas underwater'. Second problem is technically the same thing but while riding the Toucan. Other than that,Awesome game 🦍🍌

👎 Whenever you try to do a mission, the creators deliberately made it difficult to complete it. Example: if you need to ride the snake 2 times in one run, the game will push back the snake much farther than it usually would be, and puts many more obstacles than usual to get to the snake. Once the mission is complete, the snake goes back to it's original position. Why not just keep the game the same? It's frustrating, not fun and not enjoyable. If it was normal I would 100% recommend this game.

Awesome app; the animations are so smooth and the game hardly ever has ads. I love the cute little outfits and hats you can give your monkey and it makes the game even more fun. But I don't know if it's just my phone or not because recently when I open the game, I'd play for 5 seconds and the screen would turn black; then the app would crash. It's a really fun yet simple game. I love the different assets of like how you can glide, swing on vines, collect bananas to use a power dash and even go underground! It's amaizing how there's so many useful upgrades.but not only that there are achievements you can win by doing serten things.it might seem complicated but it's really not.This is a fantastic game.

Great game to fill some time gaps with, it's not bland with all the hats, parachutes and boosts you can buy as well. I love this game for its basic simplicity. The game also doesn't have too many ads, and the challenges and achievements are fun to obtain. The game also lacks a lot of bugs and glitches, the only one I have encountered is that sometimes after an ad plays the music stops. But other than that the game is perfect and nostalgic.

This game is awesome. Its very time consuming and fun. The missions are challenging and the zones are fun to experience. I like how each zone has its own animal and how each animal has different upgrades. The only problem is the swiping. It's very hard to get to the treetop because you need to swipe very quickly. Sometimes when I tap to jump it counts it as a slide down, which is really annoying. Overall great game, and would definitely recommend.

Its a nostalgia. but dang everything is so slow, the menu, the quests and a ton of achievements for doing nothing. Tutorial needed more improve at explaining what things are dangerous and how to avoid them instead throwing player straight into the game is not to good. And the power ups dont even matter to the run, at least put something like double jump or immunity.

This game is nostalgic to me.... you can power-up animals and Kong. But I really wanted to add more design in treetop, cave, beach, and underwater instead of doing BK2. Can you add more world like north pole or something? I very love this game even though my gliding is low.

The game is cute. It is fun to play. Unlike other games, you do not need to spend real money to advance. You get UNLIMITED LIVES and you can "purchase" power-ups with the "bananas" you collect while playing the game. There are ads, but not many, and you can skip them after only a few seconds. The only reason for giving the game 4 stars instead of 5 is because you are unable to collect enough bananas for a power boost into the first cave that comes up very early in the game.

I don't know if I'm the only righty that this happens to.. but I tend to get too excited sometimes and my hand ends up blocking the obstacles coming towards me. I've tried using left hand, but it has a mind of its own 😂😂 Maybe a solution could be an option that flips it, making him run towards the left? Other than that little thing, it's my new favourite game! 😊

Game play wise probably the best runner I've played with good transitions in game play with different places and animals like the toucan and boar that are not power ups with a decent art style that adds to the game with it's different obstacles makes it harder to subconsciously predict and memorise the obstacles. generic customization,bland useless power ups hold the game back a few steps from being great overall decent and very polished game a solid 3 1/2 stars out of 5 or 7/10

Super buggy! Used to be super enjoyable but these days there seems to be an issue with the missions. Lots of challenges, despite completing those, don't get removed. At times, the challenges randomly get removed and replaced with others despite not being completed. Skipping missions by watching ads doesn't seem to work, either.

Fun foreal, it's kind of like Donkey Kong with Super Mario Brothers intact. You run you click bananas you keep going you have obstacles you got to jump over and run through you can go swim in you can fly like a bird on some parts of it you can fly because of a bird on some parts of it. If you looking for a game that's going to keep you entertained for a few minutes while waiting on an appointment or something this game is for you.

I had to immediately watch an ad. So I closed the app, reopened the app, and immediately had to watch an ad. The home screen shows up for literally 2 seconds, and an ad pops up. That was never a thing with this app. To the app developer, save your pitiful and empty apology. You're not sorry for ruining a great game with advertisements that generate revenue for you, but having your gamers watch an ad before they can even access the menu is classless. It's clear that gamers aren't your priority.

The controls dont work all the time, the hats/parachutes do nothing for ya, so stick to only getting them if need be to complete something. And the "powerups" dont exactly work right. I tried the banana dash, never got the extra bananas. This game has codes that will drop you gliding just as an object comes up even if youre still trying to glide and not close to the ground. Great challenge, just not worth it after the initial start of it.

This games great but once you complete every mission and buy everything there is not much to do. Also why do you need a rocket ship to go to and from a beach? I mean all you do is torture random rough green snakes at the beach why do you even go there? Also my high score is 6 million I know nobody asked but I don't care I have been playing this for 8 years also the achievement first kong is born is impossible when you get the double bananas in app purchase I've spent 50 dollars on this game.

Definitely better than BK2. But even this first version is in the very hard category. The course is different every time you play, each time the obstacles keep changing, there are no levels, and the general difficulty is exceptionally hard. This game needs concentration, and is taxing on the mind. Most decidedly not for casual gamers. Graphics are great, and the first version doesn't have the issues of BK2. Install only if serious gamer. Not for casual gamers, highly complex. Gameplay.

The game is very fun and casual overall! My phone lacked games so I decided to download some, I remembered this game since I used to play it and downloaded it. It is still as fun as it used to be, runs smoothly and there doesn't seem to be any type of bugs. Therefore, I think this game deserves 5 stars.

I used to love this game but recently it's been glitching! I would open the game, play and when I'd die it would show the task screen but then cut out the mission screen! Had to unlink my cloud and it works, kind of... it runs good but I only get 7 tasks.. over and over again. I used to get a bunch of different tasks to complete, but now it's just a small cycle. Not sure what can be done but please fix it!

Thsi game is fun and exciting and the animations are deatailed and realistic. The sound effects really give the game flair and make it more epic. I love how when you jump you don't just tap the screen; you can also go up and then jump. It's satisfying to go to different places, and how the locations all have different features. Just one problem - sometimes the game starts off real slow when you first go in and the screen just sort of freezes. But the game is really pleasing and is fun to play.

I love the game, i played it a years ago and recently found it again. My only problems are that you can't use the power dash underwater (i can understand that since you HAVE to get bit by the alligater), I just dont like the beach. The beach is just my opinion, other people might like it but I don't. And the golden hearts. You only get five and you have to either buy them with real money or do missions and you have to wait to get golden heart missions. Apart from that its a top tier game for me.

The game is amazing, super fun and it doesn't have annoying ads which makes encourages me to watch your ads willingly as a kind of support. The game is fun, having 5 different environments is super fun, and the different animals are fun as well (haven't had the chance to try the giraffe yet though. One minor thing which prevented me from giving 5 stars is that after 20 or 30 games you will start to feel it's repititive, I know this is expected from such games but still, it is repititive :(

Good music, good power ups, and random levels keep you playing. I prefer random levels over beating mission after mission until there's no more missions left because random levels last forever. Getting rid of ads costs only 0.99 which is less than Sonic Runners and the full game of Mario Run, so it's definitely not a rip off if you like this game.

it's just great. I am not having any problem. But I do have a suggestion: I was thinking maybe challenge rounds where u can win like prizes and maybe even backblings. How it would work is u tap on the challenge rounds and click the level that has the thing u want to win. Maybe one of the levels can be a boss where u have to get as much banana's and then throw them all at the boss and see if u got enough banana's to take down the boss.

I downloaded based on the positive reviews. I was looking for a fun, time consuming game that didn't require a ton of thought to play. Found it right here. Perfect game to occupy your time, not your mind. Drowns out the girlfriends boring conversations almost immediately. Try it and see!

Popup ads were not an issue with this game . Great time waster. Have not had any serious issues yet . I have paid to have the ads removed . Like the game enough to probably spend a few dollars on it . This is NOT a pay to play game . In the year that I have had the game I have uninstalled the game once , only to make room for a work related app . Have come back to the game and see no reason to leave it again . Game play is easy to get into . Graphics are clean and bright .

My 2nd review 2019: I'm not sure if the ads still use so much data, but I'm giving it another shot before I block them (blockada is great for this by using a psuedo vpn and doesn't need root). 9/28/16: I opened the app once today, played through 3 runs and it sucked down 12.3MB of data.

Such a fun game to play when you are bored. Includes a lot of achievements to spice up the experience and lots of apparel which you can get with game currency. Not so much pay to win and you can stack up things or hearts by watching ads. Nice game, I recommend 👍🏻

Super addictive and fun. Beautiful visuals. My one wish is that revival hearts are more easily obtained (or that player gets, say, 3 revivals per play). Update: I got every hat, parachute, power-up, and animal upgrade and had a surplus of 200k bananas. The missions got buggy, showed as completed from the outset. Uninstalled and reinstalled...now (happily) starting again from scratch. 😃

This game is RIDICULOUSLY HILARIOUS. From all the funny references made in the character hats and outfits to the wacky art style and animations to the fact that its literally a gorilla running from a tidal wave of bananna peels, this game is entertaining in more ways than one. The novelty also doesn't die quickly as there's quite a few things to unlock and do. Overall a pretty dun way to pass the time on a bus ride or lunch break.

This game is awesome. I like to play with my little bother. If some of you worried about it being violent don't be. This game is so easy to play my little bother. My little can play it. It's a good game, but: - The waiting time for counting a zero score in "keep going" missions is boring. - It should jump only on swiping up, and do nothing on clicking, because sometimes I just want to glide when my platform ends, and sometimes I just want to dash or to move down but end up killed by an obstacle above. - Many of the times I dashed on the beach, the snake appeared in the meantime and I missed it.

This game is addictive. I just love how you can go to the different places and the tasks are endless. Overall good this game is awesome!!! It's a fun game. I just dont like going to the beach, or that the coconuts fall randomly when you are at the beach which annoyed me so much that I deducted one star, along with the fact that you can't watch an ad or something to get a Golden Heart, you either have to buy them with real money or complete missions. And it takes you a relatively long time to complete missions. Edit: There are rarely any ads.

It's fun, simple and yet still challenging! You can opt for the tutorial in settings, which helps a lot. The graphics are great, and there are ads but you can skip them after a few seconds. All in all its a fun game. I wish there were more options to watch videos for stuff, but that's my only complaint!

I love the game. Its so nostalgic and really well put togther, it's one of those games I could play for an hour without realising it. I love the caves and desert etc. Definately recommend. Although I would like to see a bit more too it with a few updates as it feels that it hasn't been updated in a while.

From the first day that I started playing, I simply couldn't find enough hours in the day to do anything else but play!! Kong is the King of the jungle, not the lion!! I used to love this game, sound effects and the UI when playing on my iPod. But on my new one plus 7, the game doesn't fit the resolution and the bottom of the game couldn't be seen.Please fix this as soon as possible.

The game is fantastic as well as addictive to play for when you are bored. The gameplay is incredible and lovely, graphics are cartoony, childish and colorful, controls are easy to master and there's no sensitivity. The game is fun for all ages and it is so enjoyable that no one will get bored of it. So in conclusion the game is fantastic

I think its impossible to have to reach two or more in one run of the treetops, the cave, underwater, and the beach without dying first. The game starts running way too fast before i can accomplish them. I could really use a tip or three on how to achieve that. Thank you

This game is somewhat fun, however there are some big things which need changeing. Firstly, the boar desperately needs to be nurfed. Once fully upgraded (which doesn't take long) you can almost always get above 2500 bananas per run. With the fact that the maximum amount of bananas you can receive from doing quests is only 250, this insane amount of bananas just makes doing quests just seems unnecesary and gets extremely repetitive after just a while of doing them. Ok game. unnecesarily OP stuff.

its so much fun super simple but a great way to pass the time great game for kids. The ads are not to bad. there is no constant harrassment to pay to play or for upgrades which is always nice. Just a great game to pass some time.

Was really good, very addictive, runs smoothly etc. However my new phone has a bigger screen which means I can't see the ground. There are no options to adjust the game edges and you can't play the game if you can't see the ground. Add some resolution or scaling options which allow for bigger phones (pixel XL, galaxy plus etc) and I'll amend to 5*. For now though, this is a waste of time for anybody who has one of the bigger models of popular brand smartphones.

This game is PERFECT!!!! Not too many adds and very responsive as far as controls go! Great for people that enjoy the game jet pack joy ride, donkey kong, and Super mario run!!! One of my favorite games of 2019 for sure! Definitely recommend this a big 5 stars from me!

for this kind of game (run & jump arcade platformer) is all that game has to be-enterteining,good thought out theme,fast game with fast-pace action,and enough power ups and options to keep it simple,but with satisfaction of thru-playing the game earned rewords-unlike some games I can play this game every time I ride the bus or have some time to kill.Again for this kind of game it's very good.

It's a sidescrolling 'run' game. Needs correcting to stop water and cave appearing before you've got enough bananas to enter them. I must be doing something wrong when jumping as there are some very high platforms that I can never reach, but nowhere explains what this may be.

A little bothersome with all the ad pop-ups and encouragement to leave a review, but overall a good version of a classic running away game. Pretty easy controls, only problem is it doesn't always register them in time--plan to jump early. Fluid graphics, a few funny cut scenes. I'd give it a solid 4.5, just wish there weren't so many ads.

Yes, it is fun, although not a tactical shooter. 😁 OK, now what is the point of the silly question app store asks "is it a tactical shooter"? It obviously isn't. It is just an awesome platformer, where skill and quick thinking are needed. Adds are a bit annoying, as usual and I'd be willing to pay just to have them gone. Alas this is not how this wonderful and din game was designed. Still 5 stars.
