'Chemistry by design' is definitely a must-have app for those who are interested into both total synthesis and reaction design. The app is superp and very straightforward to use, but it has just a minuscule problem. If you don't use it for a short period of time or if you decide to open another app, you certainly will loss the progress you've made, i.e., the reaction you were checking.

Excellent app!! One thing could be still be improved: when the app goes in a background mode, the on going synthesis is lost and you are back on the starting page. If it was possible to get back where you left that would be fantastic! Thanks for the wonderful work!

Great app, love it! But it restarts everytime you lock the screen or switch to another app. Really annoying you want to look for a reagent's info on internet. And no offline mode available! Real shame for such a useful app! Please work on it!

The app is great, there are tons of synthetic routes to refresh ( or learn) concepts of organic chemistry... but the interface could be improve. Also it is annoying that the app closes automatically when the screen is off or when you change the app . It would be great to be able to keep reading from the point it was before the app got close, so the reading of long synthetic routes could be more enjoyable.

Great app, im still learning some concepts in synthetic chemistry, great effort put into making this app, and it comes at no cost. Excellent app.

I rated this app with 3 Stars (ONLY) because of the complexity of the reactions (AND) the interface's 'look', which is a bit 'clunky'. Nevertheless, the app is extremely useful for GRADUATE LEVEL and CLINICAL students. Update the app to show examples of embedded functional groups and I'll give it 4 Stars.

First, this app is amazing. It contains great information in a totally free package. future updates would potentially include retrosynthetic analyses, and perhaps a better touch-friendly interface. the scroll bar is out of place on a touch screen phone. Again, thank you or all of the hard work that went into making this app what it is.
