Both USB cable and wireless camera connection only work 1 out of 15 clips. I have to pull the SD card and put either in my phone or computer to transfer files which defeats the purpose of paying for all the features of the hero 13 because they don't have a computer app. I regret doing the GoPro route, may sell this for a loss and get a 360

sadly I've been trying to purchase the premium tier for over two weeks. The app is buggy and it can't find the subscription I purchased. As a result Google play keeps refunding it after 3 days. GoPro support is surprisingly slow and their only contribution is to try again (3rd time now didn't work and no feedback from them) overall unreliable company

I will always have a GoPro and my subscription. I never leave home without my Hero Cams. I Love the app, all it helps me edit and the confidence the subscription brings me, knowing that I'll have a new Camera within a couple weeks if and when it cushion my wipeouts.

Great tool for editors.. very creative way to shape your own creation.

can anyone share how to download and install goGPro Quik on PC? Has try many time but after download, can't install due to file not safe/has virus. But the apps are perfect on the phone.

Terrible that you aren't able to get this on desktop. The GB space you need for this is so high, it instantly clogs up te phone storage space making this near impossible to use on android.

Colour wheel of doom. can't seem to edit and save my project, and the video is glitchy. Sometimes im just wanting to edit a few sections of the video and save, then the app just farts and has the wheel spinning for 10 mins and crashes? very annoying needs to do the job its meant to, its not hard.

Come on Go Pro, your cameras are amazing and I'd buy it every time a new one comes out, but... this app is TRASH, you guys can do 100% better.. Please have a pro rebuild this app so it works with our Go Pros... if not... I'm considering retiring my Go Pros for a competing brand.

Unfortunately even basic functions like viewing the video do not work. Seems like this app's main function is to upsell you a subscription you most definitely don't need. To developer: turning it off Ian's on again (clearing cache, reinstalling) does not make a difference, no 🤦 Just test this app before releasing it. I'm not buying GoPro products again, utterly ridiculous overpriced garbage.

glitches alot not what I was expecting when downloaded

Bad App Update: Refuses to connect to a gopro already setup after an update. also enough with the cloud sign up pop ups that you cant close! Thank you for your reply that means a lot. After restarting both my phone and the GoPro several times I was eventually able to connect longer than a few seconds and was able to finally download a 2-minute video clip.

This app continues to let me down. I have updated/re installed countless times, it will get all the way through an edit and then fail to save and lose all your work.

Cancelled my subscription — they keep trying to charge me, and the app locks me out I cancelled my GoPro Premium subscription, but GoPro keeps attempting to charge my card. Worse, the Quik app now refuses to let me in unless I "update my payment method" — the only way past the screen is to pay again for a subscription I already cancelled. There's no way inside the app to manage the subscription or confirm the cancellation. A subscription should be as easy to leave as it is to join.

The app keeps just giving me a blue spin ing circle on videos, even vids played before... Quick needs a desktop app.

Good for umm... Stressing you out? Features behind a paywall. The videos are not shown correctly, you need to download to the phone to be at least able to biew the correctly. Editing a clip and downloading just won't give the result needed. I had it installed on an old phone, I've upgraded to a much better one and Oh wow it still the same nonfunctional app. Just take out the sd card and get a usb card reader and edit in pc its way more functional.

Utter rubbish. Keeps losing connection when trying to transfer large files or delete multiple timelapse images. When it does work it ridiculously copies the files into a folder only the app can access and from there you can copy it to your phone gallery which means every file you transfer from the camera gets two copies made in your phone before you delete the first copy in the app. The cameras are great but this software completely hobbles them.

THIS IT'S BECOMING A MONTHLY EVENT, THE APP AUTO UPDATING OVER A METERED NETWORK. WHY? IT'D THERE'S AN UPDATE WHY NOT THROUGH THE NORMAL CHANNEL ? Why has this app auto updated over metered network? Auto update is OFF to avoid unnecessary charges.

Always fails to update camera firmware through the app. This meant my Mission 1 pro was unusable as it won't even progress to the camera mode until it has been updated, and the only way to do this was to buy a card reader and PC to download the update manually. Gopro is supposed to be a point and go camera, but now they are useless.

Worked once and never again. Won't connect to the camera wirelessly. Just a bunch of spam to create an account and enable location access to access your own hardware. Just going to use a Micro SD to get videos off the camera and edit them with a real video editor.

Once I took my time to learn it, it amazed me.

Very easy to use, it will create its own edits they preload on there or can edit yourself. although if editing on a phone it is very limited. but extremely useful pull and download video straight from the GoPro (wirelessly) to your phone. Good to start with for starters/beginners learning how to edit video. It does cost $5.99 a month to be able to use everything they offer on the app and get the full effects.

constant issues lately. can't stream my own footage from the cloud and can't connect to the cameras despite the app detecting them. cameras still work with the computer as usual but the app might as well not exist atm

I just installed the app and it's demanding I update it, click on update it brings me back here with the only options of open and Uninstall. hate needing an app just to use a $700 camera. I bought it, it should function.

worked on my pixel 10 a few months ago and now it doesn't work at all. I just get error playing video whether it's downloaded to phone or cloud. glad this happened after my subscription renewed for a higher price. if this doesn't get fixed I will definitely be cancelling.

Good for the very basics, but frustratingly limited in very important ways. Every video editing tool I've used in the past allows you to add or modify specific transitions to each media clip, and allows you to section off groups of clips to manipulate separately. No way to add one theme/music to each of three sections of clips. Must create three separate videos and PAY FOR ANOTHER APP to stitch them together. VERY basic function, lots of glitter, but little substance.

This app is the most user unfriendly app of all time. I installed the new version and it came with a bug where I couldn't open the app anymore so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and all my albums are completely wiped and gone. no where to be found. hours and memories lost thanks to this Crappy app. Especially Trying to find downloads takes longer than a snail looping around the earth.

app does not work with small screen phones. buttons are off screen, and no combination of changing DPI, resolution, aspect ratio, or clearing app cache allows use of the app. I'm not buying an iPad or jumbo tablet phone to use my helmet cam. gopro also requires v30 cards with no way to set up the camera with a normal micro SD card.

What happened to this app? It struggles to render anything from my Mission 1 camera. It won't even export pictures properly now. The previous screen on both my 13 and mission both get real janky sometimes.

Fix This App! This app is absolutely ruining my GoPro experience. I LOVE my GoPro camera, but the latest app updates make it a MISERABLE experience to try to download media to my phone. Lost phone connection. no sd card found. Over and over and over. Keep unplugging and plugging back to reconnect, keep trying two dozen times download. How many times do you think I'll try out a new SD card or reinstall the software to try to make this work properly, before I simply give up and buy an OSMO?

There is a bug that prevents me from using the paid account. I am contacting the customer support since more than a week without results. Disappointed OLD REVIEW: Great to make videos quickly. I will stick with GoPro, is only 10 euros per year for the premium. you can make videos with the free version too, but you can save them.

Pure Garbage . 1 hr trying to connect my GoPro to my Phone or Tablet does not work! Pairing does not work. WIFI doesn't even appear under my Networks. Uninstalled it. Will use a friendlier App. Again, PURE Garbage.

Once I learned how to do further editing this app is perfect for me.

This app is buggy and barely usable for editing videos. it works fairly well for controlling the camera to take videos, but if you try to use the edit/studio features to edit the video, it just gives errors. Looks like I'll have to use 3rd party software for basic editing. I'm on a Pixel 10 Pro, so you'd think it would work well. Apparently this is a known issue for over a year, but they haven't fixed it...

The fact I can't download 4k quality is the problem. Ive wanted this camera for 4k quality and I can't seem to download 4k quality as when I do so, it's just audio and a black screen!!! unless it's my phone that can't handle it but the editing page is too laggy and kicks you out from editing after saving only for it to be reset after u change the length of the video. I wish this app was better for phones!!!

This app is the opposite of quick. It's the slowest, worst performing app I have ever had the misfortune of using. Absolutely dreadful. Takes ages to load footage, if at all, and editing capability is extremely limited. I have been paying for a GoPro subscription due to the convenience but it is a complete waste of money and unfit for purpose. I will be cancelling and looking for an alternative. I recommend others to do the same. Edit 2026 - still awful, fails when exporting. Disgusting app.

It's a good app overall, but it sometimes won't download the footage on the SD card.

Very clunky app. It takes ridiculous amounts of time to pull videos from my camera, even longer to share to my phone. 2min video takes 1+ hour to share to my phone. Very annoying.

many issues - preview not working the preview works when you first connect. however when you go out of range or close the app and reconnect. you no longer have the option to enable preview or view anything. just a black screen saying recording. literally makes the app useless to check on timelapses etc.

The app 'sees' my gopro Hero13, however it cannot update or download the files it acknowledges as undownloaded. Always an error. The only way to update, is to extract the card and try to do it manually..... but EVERY TIME!? Then it keeps pushing the cloud..... I was going to subscribe for the service .... but why would I if its useless!? I won't pay for continuous inconvenience!

Great app for short clips on the go

tried to connect to Max2, app says it needs to update, even though I literally just installed it. The update link brings me to its play store page, with the only options of uninstall, or Open. I've uninstalled and tried again, same problem. It seems to think it needs a newer version than what is on the play store. A terrible pos since the camera doesn't seem to usable without first using the app. I'm sick of required apps for everything, especially something that has a touchscreen already.

Had the old quik app, gave this one a go. I tried add videos to make a project, stuck indefinitely on analysing videos. Tried lower video quality, which isn't ideal, no help. Glad I got trial subscription. Using s24 ultra, if it doesn't work on this phone, I imagine it'll be trash on most edit after reply, no cache to clear as it was a fresh install. uninstalled and tried again. close to 300Gb available storage. trial expired and sub cancelled so won't be trying again. I stick to my 1 star

Like most of GoPro's hardware and software, it sort of almost works sometimes.

God I seriously hate this app. It never wants to connect over wifi. It will work once and then suddenly it won't. Cable connection doesn't work either. I have such a hard time accessing my media, it makes me not want to use my camera. After spending several hundred dollars on the camera I would expect the software to work. If I had more thumbs, I would give this 10 thumbs down.

I don't use my camera as much as I would like all because this app is so cumbersome. you have to download the video from the camera to the app, then select media, then select a video to download to get it to your phone, download it, then go select that video ageain, then select download, then select 360, then select save to your phone, then "continue". you can't bulk download 360 vids?? this is after being prompted for a premium subscription no less than 4x. I H8 this app. it can be 60m of work.

Was forced to use this app to update a brand new device. App wouldn't connect. I think it was a wifi issue. Eventually it connected. I followed the instructions to a t. Could you not have made this product not require an update out of the box? I'm nervous this wasn't actually about updatin, but actually a sneaky registration. This whole process not only worked poorly but left a bad taste in my mouth. thanks for a great first impression

How did this app get a 4.5 rating? Ive read 30 reviews in a row with nothing above 2 stars. Mostly 1's. Many frustrated creative people hampered by unnecessary glitches caused by your advertising ( greed.) Your primary concern obviously.

Was happy to pay for the subscription to make a video with GPS data like real time speed...but then I found out that my Go pro 12 was the only go pro to not have built in GPS?? Why!?! The go pro 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 13 all have it, but not the 12? I feel pretty hard done buying the go pro 12 now as well. At least it takes nice video

Not possible to connect with my hero 9 Black. app keep on freezing during transfers with GoPro hero 10 black needs to close and open it again. to get the files out of the camera. why it needs to transfer first to the app and then to the phone ? takes too long always and very buggy on Xperia 1 vi

Pretty much useless. Needs location turned on to do anything, even when underground. Why? Very buggy and slow at transfers. Drops connection with camera frequently. Wanted to use it as a remote viewer to adjust and control helmet camera without a second person. I have no intention of buying another GoPro product until they can prove that they have a functional app for Android or an otherwise useless smart watch.

Memory Hog. Why does the app use so much memory and duplicate files where they are inaccessible to be deleted? The app is very functional and has a lot of great features. If it did better with memory usage it would be perfect.

If this is the best GoPro can manage I'm glad I didn't invest in their ecosystem. My admittedly old camera and this app are never paired and the menu is abysmal at creating a simple workflow. Plus it's 'free' only so they can bug you about a cloud account from the very second you start it up. If you DO sign up the app FORGETS and you have to keep signing in from scratch. Constant errors and lame 'please try later' messages. It's not a premium service, not even functional.

even when disabling notifications, the app re enables them to spam me to get me to buy the useless premium. overall never really use this app or the features.

I hate it! 🙃 Time Cordination Sucks. I paid, used this for 3 weeks on 3 videos, I selected my song and I edited it over and over again because the buffers and analyzes would re-edited and changes plus it forces the photos time to be either super short or very long duration instead of with the song (short 2 sec, med 2 sec, long 8 sec). I wish they had a lock forcing the edits to not change. Too many other issues to list

Fails to do the most basic thing: get photos off a GoPro. Tried on multiple devices. Might be because it's an older model but the app says it's supported.

useless unless you want to save in potato quality. the app itself is also a trash ui that then hides your raw files in a sandbox. completely unacceptable

even after the fix the project crashes unexpectedly and hours of work go down the drain. smart decision would be to avoid this app completely. it used to be good in the past but not anymore.

when did you guys get rid of the overlay stickers. I loved adding in the path and altitude. what are you guys doing. the Insta 360 are looking pretty good.

it's a miracle if anything works in this app. I try to get the videos via usb-c and it says no sd media card found, but wieving content on the device itself works flawless (I also have premium subscription). All of this is extremely unreliable for a premium price. I'm moving to dji

I hate this app, I subscribed and according to GoPro I have no subscription and yet they take my money each year and again today but still say I have no subscription, don't pay for this app it's useless.

Really Convenient....

Super glitchy and always freezing. its basically useless as an editing app at this point. The auto edit, the only thing i used, no longer works. Seems like the only way to get anything useful out of this is to purchase subscription after you already paid for a multi hundred dollar camera, a rip off.

GoPro’s customer service is non-responsive. I submitted a request and received no reply, so I sent a follow-up—and I am still waiting. Very disappointing experience.

The interface is horrible and it is very hard to use to edit videos. It is great for if you have a GoPro, but at that point I would just use the SD card. Always asks you to buy Quik Pro or whatever. Would not recommend unless you have a GoPro.

Editing sucks! I always get error! I can no longer edit 360 videos. So frustrating! I'm regretting my decision of choosing gopro over insta!
