If you're looking for a private messaging app between only approved members of your social circle like we were, Kinzoo is not it.

there is a bug where if you send more then one video to the same user the audio from both recordings play at the same time edit: I would also love if the devs would increase how long a video could be when you send to like 5 minutes or something

Every time I try to call my son or he tries to call me it instantly freezes up preventing me from talking to my son when he is away. My son also gets frustrated because the app won't allow him to call or do anything so every time I have to uninstall the app and restart his tablet then install it then it works for my son to call other relatives, but nothing I do ever fixes the video call from freezing when we call one another. If anyone has another app similar to this one please let me know.

This is a very good app for calling other kids or family members. It's a good app but there is kind of a problem. There is a thing called a billup or something. It's like a video call but you can only do it for 8 minutes. I think they should change it so you don't do it for 8 minutes. You can just do it as long as you want because kids don't always want to show their face. It doesn't make sense for 8 minutes so I definitely recommend this app.

it's a very good app but the quality when your on a jam or a video call is a bit laggy and you can only send your friends 3 minutes long videos but I want to send my friend a video that's longer then 3 minutes but I do recommend it

straight forward and wa sable to make my kids a account so all they had to do was login with my email and pin I set for them and bam the whole family is there. way for youth geared and feels safer than messenger. definitely get as the rest were clunky at best

Video calling quality isn't the best but works well for children.

It is definitely better than Kinder family, which constantly tries to open instead of my browser for some reason even though I turned it off, and constantly sends me notifications that can't be turned off just to use the app, however I would really like a dark mode in this application because it hurts my eyes

The messaging is ok. Everything else is some of the worst designed software I've ever had the misfortune to use. It's one of those apps where you need to use a separate AI helper just to do basic things like add a new child account or connect them with approved contacts. The UX is so incredibly poor and opaque. No talented designers were involved in this app, for sure.

so great if you have given your iPad to your kid and they can't call you because your number is the same as your cell phone you can still reach them thank goodness for kinzoo

I reset my phone and because it was glitchy and I went into kinzoo and it's said Create an account or sign up, and I kept clicking sign up and it didn't work. So I think now I lost my account

update: it's now unusable for calls. my son and I are stuck on a jam that neither of us can exit. this app is truly awful. I have changed it to a 1 star. it's good but so many niggly things that need ironing out. 1. needs to be a separate button to send images. right now you have to click the camera and then click the gallery button. 2. need to set a default camera view for the camera button, user should be able to select either front or rear as default. 3. profile pictures need to be bigge

heres some updates you should do!: -make a normal video call but you can draw on you face and screen and can change colour! multiple people can join. -on blip and normal video call, make multiple people that can join the call instead of just 2.

My 8 year old and I have so much fun with this app! We text, send gifs, stickers, take pics and even FaceTime call. Other family members have been added by me, that she can also communicate with. A very safe platform for younger kids!

I got Kinzoo so my kids could call me without a Sim card. period. end of story. I can't lock the app without losing that basic functionality. I have now blocked paths, but I didn't know about paths, so they already have a bunch. all the other games on thier phones are locked down until they do some chores, but this is how they spend thier time. I love the app, we already have several friends using it. but I need a way to lock down the games and paths.

The app was so great with no annoying ads and I connected my whole family with 2 of my closest friends on day 1, but the 2 reasons why it's not a 5 is one, it has it's own money like Robux in roblox and second, anytime my daughter tries to exit a call, her tablet shuts down for an hour and then turns off with no charge in the tank.

It's like discord+Whatsapp+texting app although my friend got SOOOO hated cuz his friends were mad at him for adding me, it's still fun to be honest.

it's a great way to communicate with my 8yo if I am work or he's having a sleep over somewhere, instead of giving him a sim card, he also gets to talk with his friends safely and I can check in his messages from my end to make sure there's no silly business

Crippled in the first week. worked with one parent well enough, tried to send to second parent and they never got email. can't unsend invite or resend, cant delete the request or add them again because email in use. literally can't move forward from this. useless app.

Wife and I downloaded it to use with our kids. Unfortunately it only allows one parent to have access. It sent out a request for my wife to join, but it won't approve the request for some reason. The app needs to allow both parents to be on with the kids.

Just had this app call my daughter from my wife's phone. Only problem was my wife and I were sitting on the couch together, she wasn't calling, and after telling her to answer, black screen and once I came up on the outgoing screen, the call hung up. Be careful what you subject your kids to. That was scary.

i LOVE this app, but there is a bug with the videos i send to my friends. for some reason when i play a video and then i play another one both of the videos sounds overlap and play together. can you PLEASE fix this?

when I send a message it sends it twice🤔 and also the app just freezes for a couple seconds especially if your using camera and doing face filters.

Perfect for kiddos, easy to use, easy to add friends/family and has a bunch of stickers and gifs (that are free, some aren't) to send. You can also change the background on the chats (most wallpapers are free). Overall great app

the app seems good, just very focused on selling extras and their policy on data protection is not fully clear as you have to allow records and they say they can retain all your materials for their use. [EDIT after answer and lowered rating] I have read the policy, although it doesn't explain why I cannot block location tracking as it is not listed in disallowed nor allowed features. It does not work correctly, therefore it is suspicious

good but complicated sometimes!

My son thinks this is great as he can play games and talk to his friends at the same time. If I am out and he is with his grandparents he can message or call me as well, play little games and challenge his friends. Also like the fact only friends who have the app can join, and I can also monitor it. Support team are really quick to answer any help and support you need.

Where is the option to completely disable marketplace? This suppose to be a safe communication app not a mashup/circus app with games. Now the kid is spending time on this 💩 playing games just because the other games have proper limits and parental controlls but the chat suppose to be accessible all the time. As a parent I couldn't recommend less this app. And suddenly there are video which my kid is watching as everything else is blocked. DON'T USE THIS APP FOR YOUR KID, IS NOT SAFE!

unfortunately i have to use this app to keep contact with friends, somehow they have a "flawless" experience but for me it's horrible. chats take ageeessssss to load, it feels difficult/laggy to navigate, and calls are complete garbage. audio only comes out the tiny earpiece speaker, so it's INSANELY quiet. i cant hear a thing unless the room is silent and on max volume. it has no option for loudspeaker, one of the most basic features for a calling app.

Very handy to use it with my kids who are too young for a sim and secure just for the family, perfect!
