why would i want another app just for the groups when i can see them from the Facebook app?

Need a way to see only groups im in and no recommendations. Same problem as Facebook, too much noise. Add a my groups only tab or button. Example: I did not grow up in Boulder in the 70s, so putting that group in my feed makes the experience suck. Same for people who didn't grow up in my hometown and get similar in their feed. App is a good first try, and much room for improvement.

spacing is weird.

don't like to have multiple apps to check my groups, makes me spent more timdle than intended and cant follow up on things that matter

I wish that Facebook would release some sort of app or feature that would allow sorting and categorizing groups. if you're a person like me who belongs to a lot of different kinds of groups, based on a lot of different interests, the ability to sort your groups into categories or topics would be amazing!

This app is a must! Especially if you enjoy swap & shop, buying from local (and afar) artists, seeing event calendars for what to do's, selling items to make a buck or two, even finding new treasures with many being given to for free from local neighbors. I'm brand new so not the best judge, but it's not intuitive to navigate yet. I'll learn, and it's really nice to not have the distraction of the rest of. FB when I need/ want the forum aspect alone.

Yeah, I think this is pretty cool. It helps people to get eyes on your group, and what you do. This is really neat.

You are not allowed to block specific groups. The feed is filled with groups that we are not signed up for. Like the rest of Facebook this is entirely enshitified.

I don't give 5 stars to anyone. Maybe after I eat some turkey if it's good. Praise God 🙏

Buggy and labor intensive. Flooded with hundreds of unwanted, unasked for posts. Many groups are fake accounts where they lure you with a title then all the posts are something else. No permanent block feature so not interested choices return - meaning more work. Poor product not ready for distribution. If AI is managing this it needs to be replaced by humans with talent and experience.

Get word out quickly using this platform!!! Spread the truth through God's word!!!

This is the best app for social media I have found so far. It allows me to focus on groups I'm in which is basically why I get on Facebook lol. Super useful!

I love the clarity. Still learning how this works,though.

I thought this app would only show me groups I'm in, and I can sort by recent posts or more activity. But it appears to be worse than Facebook, it shows me lots of groups I'm not in, the order in which posts are shown are random, and saying "Not interested" on certain groups mean nothing.

terrible user experience. it spams your feed with majority spam groups and makes it difficult to find posts from groups you did join. no way to filter it to just see the groups you joined. just awful

Many bugs. For starters, you can comment per usual Facebook use, but this app doesn't allow you to edit or delete your own comments anywhere.

it is very EFFECTIVE and FUNCTIONAL when trying to keep up with FACEBOOK GROUPS that are of PARTICULAR INTEREST without all of the INTERFERRENCE of situation that some may find INTEREST IN, but others find OFFENSIVE, because NOT everyone has the same taste in likes!!! and I have already brought it too quite a few of my family members and friends to download, which some has done so already while being on facetime and screen sharing... it was needed and a BLESSING when found... THANK YOU!!!

There are reviews on people profiles that are not nice at all and manifestations on people's life's It seems like. They need to blog some Facebook business pages.

The app is unusable. Home feed is full of suggested groups I don't belong to and there's no way to hide them. Their AI algorithm section just gives you topics to avoid or choose from, and not an option to hide suggested groups. I ONLY want to see groups in a part of! This is the only reason I still use Facebook. Control needs to be on the hands of users and not an algorithm, I absolutely hate Meta.

I can't figure out how to edit any posts in this. this app sucks

App seems to be less laggy than using fb app, but i'm sure that is intentional. notifications from Latino users commenting or liking switched to spanish notifications for some reason lol. switching profiles to pages in the app is quite inconvenient and messy. honestly Id rather see the fb integration improved than a seperate app.

This app doesn't improve the experience at all. I sort of pictured an app that makes it easier to look at groups but it's just jumbled posts with some that I don't even subscribe to. It's easier to just use the main app. Not worth installing.

The idea is great but I can only use the app for surface level browsing through group posts. When I'm looking through comments they refresh and I'm brought back to the same few comments I've already looked through. I'm not even able to read a big portion of them, so there's no point in having this when the regular FB app works the same.

I hate that I keep seeing posts from groups I'm not a part of, and there's no setting to stop this. It's clearly a way that they try to keep you scrolling and scrolling. disgusting

What a giant pile of garbage. Have to navigate to the sidebar every time to see MY groups. Multiple suggestions and posts of groups that I have ZERO interest in showing up in the feed. Might as well just navigate to groups in the regular Facebook app, don't need another app just to do the same thing.

This app is supposed to be for the Facebook groups I’m already in, so why am I constantly being shown posts from groups I’m not even a member of? I don’t want an algorithm deciding what other groups I might be interested in. If I wanted to see content from other groups, I would join them. This is the same problem I have with Facebook itself. Let me see content from the groups, friends, and pages I actually follow or choose to connect with instead of constantly pushing unrelated recommendations.

AI automatically creates a Title and I CANNOT edit it. That rates a Zero. It displays my Portrait videos in Landscape and they can NOT be Rotated. That's another Zero. Not interested until such major errors are corrected.

Is it just Facebook Groups? Like, I don't really see the point of this, but okay, I guess.

I admit that I am confused about Forum and how it fits with FB. When I am scrolling FB a Forum post will appear, but when I go back looking for it I can't find it. It's very frustrating. I don't think there has been enough info about how the two fit and how they are different. And I'm more tech savvy than most of my friends.

Trying to get used to it. Better than posting on a time line. It allows you to interact with people from different walks of life. I like it. Recommend.

nope changed my mind. I dont want to allow AI to assist. once that happens the groups are not longer local and fill up with scammers from all over the world which totally destroys the group and nobody but scammers join and post. as soon as you give up your authority to AI the group slowly starts to die because people are no longer reaching a local population and they arent selling anything. and they get sick of people from other countries coming in and trying to scam them.

Too much social media. The options are just too vast now which program to use.

An extra star because I like the idea of an app just to connect you to Facebook groups but this one was clearly rushed out by meta without enough testing. Super buggy, media picker hangs and crashes, can't select albums, no apparent way to switch between accounts. I like the idea of the app but this one is not ready for public release.

okay FB! THIS is the app to have!

so far...it works well enough but theres still a lot of bugs. photo upload is crazy slow if you give it access to you photos, so I hope the pic u need was taken recently... also when i upload it all looks good but when I push send it rotates it sideways instead of keeping it in portrait orientation. and messages there one moment then gone the next, even after changing comments to 'all'

Great for keeping up with facebook groups

Until recently, Forum was a five-star experience. It used to only show groups I was a member of with a suggestion here and there. Recently, a majority of my feed is filled with groups I'm not a part of and have absolutely zero interest in. I use this app for my car and hobby groups. My feed should not be plastered with flat earth society and dating groups across the state. I stopped using Facebook for the amount of invasive drivel that permeated my feed. Might be time to delete this one too

Really slow and laggy. Really poor right out the gate.

It's a good app but I don't think it's ready for prime time just yet The insert image doesn't reach all my folders to select. Other than 2 irrelevant folders it's all or nothing. It's too time consuming compared to Facebook or Business Suite. The AI headline it creates is a nice feature... But repetitive to the headline text already created. Also doesn't give the option to edit or remove it. The group search function doesn't work. Hopefully these issues will be resolved in upcoming updates

It's a great collective app for all chat groups & forums to come together.

Love the idea, but immediately deleted the app after installing for 2 reasons: first, feed was already mostly groups I'm not a member of and no way to limit it to just the ones I'm in, which is half the reason I rarely use Facebook. Second, I had it set to dark mode and every time it changed pages it would flash white first, very painful on my eyes.

Meta is basically dividing Facebook up into all these different separate apps, and it makes it very confusing, and it's no longer becoming fun. I'm looking for an different source. So you like social media where I can connect with people. But do it freely and not be controlled. So heavily as meta does now. I AM NOT IMPRESSED IT'S TOO FRUSTRATING HAVING TO CHECK MULTIPLE APPS
