FAQ Q: How does the app determine my calorie target? A: It estimates your energy expenditure from logged foods and weight trend, then adjusts targets during weekly check‑ins.

Q: Can I set my own macro distribution? A: Yes, by selecting Manual mode you can define custom macros for each day.

I've been using Yazio for the last eight months! I was never really overweight to begin with, were yazio is a great place for someone needs to loose weight. so this app has been perfect for me. Plus, thanks to my time with Yazio, I was able to jump right into this one since I already had a good handle on how it all works!
Exellent app love how it figures out your metabolism and so is able to provide very accurate calorie goals love how many ways there are to log your food you can use a barcode, a photo, just put in how much protein, carbs, fat and calories it agve you, you can build recipes and so just add portions of those with ease you can save foods you eat and on top of that it works just as well on a computer as it does a phone.
This app is amazing! Logging foods is super fast and easy. I thought tracking macros was a pain in the butt, but with this app it is not at all. They even make it easy for you to know how much to add of a certain food in order to reach your macro target for the day.
This is so easy compared to other food tracking apps. Not judgy and excellent breakdown of macros. It doesn't make you feel bad with red yellow green designations ...food is food. I like it.
This app is not even loading for me anymore. I've tried everything including deleting the app, clearing the cache, clearing the data to no avail. It just shows the logo and doesn't load from there.
Not a great app if you intend to adjust calorie expenditure on certain days. You can't add expenditure at all, which is fine for bodybuilding only where that may be stable, but cross trainers and triathletes will see their expenditure go up and down and be wildly inaccurate depending on your training variation. It would be great if they offered a way to track baseline expenditure alongside workouts that burn thousands of extra calories per day.
Hands down the best nutrition tracker app ever. I have used MyFitnessPal, RP, Etc, but Macrofactor is far superior. Consistent updates, a super smart algorithm, and designed to pair perfectly with gym goers, or folks just looking track their nutrition. Learning to log food is still a skill, but Macrofactor takes care of the rest.
The best app for tracking your macros. I have tried the 2week free trial because I've been following Jeff Nippard for some years now, but i have always used free apps for tracking. This one is amazing, and also tracking by image and description is super accurate (if you know the grams aprox) because I have tested and compared with manual tracking. It also adjusts the numbers according to your progress. -600gr in 1 week. I will definitely buy the subscription!! :)
recent update broke many things. worst is the weight hallucination. It is inventing values for scale weight instead of reading from health connect. you can only see it is not reading actual data investigating data source deep into menu. the second deal breaker is that you can no longer add barcodes to your tracked data. in the era of vibe coding, not worth subscription price they are asking for.
The suggested caloric deficits are nonsense - I'm tracking every day fully and losing 1kg a week, which is great, but the app currently wants me, a 6' 2" man, to eat 1500 calories a day. Obviously I'm ignoring that and losing weight steadily on 2000 per day, but that dynamic goal was the app's main selling point. As a UK user, it's also frustrating that many commom supermarket products (from Sainsburys especially) don't work with the scanner. Oh, and the AI elements are essentially useless.
its very good for what I need it for. its a little unituitive though
Good app, does what it needs to do.
Love love love this app! The thing I'm missing though is a "stomach" measurment, as I'm trying to lose viceral fat in the first place. And I feel like the app doesn't really take my period into account? Most women need a bit more kcal during their period because of the bloodloss and cramping. I also dislike that I have to input every day of my period, would be amazing if the app synched with apps like Stardust (fav period tracker) so I wouldn't have to input it two time ❤️
Really recommend
Please consider adding the option for changing the start of the week. thanks 😊
very good app but ai is really dump Update 09/2026:Ai haven't changed
its not accurate my david bar literally says 150 calories its saying 288 wrong again Ai
want to track macros from what i scan in not make a plan or give it every detail of my whole life story
AI is unreliable. I'll describe what I had with text only, but it often gets confused and says it can't see any food in the image. There is no image! When it scans a barcode it doesn't recognise, it wants me to create the food. There are items you scan the barcode that exist multiple times with different nutrition info, many of which have typos in them too. Too many bugs for the price, I'll not carry on my subscription after this month.
Excellent for tracking calories
The easiest way to log food I've ever experienced by far.
Can't be used on a rooted phone, for some reason.
Useful app for macro counting. I've lost 20 lbs.
The UX is the best I've seen in a calorie counting app and I like the feature where I can pre- schedule my plan, however, for the price, there are features I wish were built in such as reminders to log, easier water tracking and an intermittent fasting tracker. these all exist but require a series of steps/not as intuitive and given these are key actions to my tracking, it wasn't worth it for me.
needs open API so my AI agent can access it for my logs. Other than that its a great app
Just Love the app. Not only that but I asked for just a few days of free trial again as I already did one. and they said yes ! I used myfitnesspal pal for 12 years and they lost every dam thing I logged and every weight in from when I started at 145lbs (13yo) to now 195lbs (26). And thank god for them giving a free pass as gives me enough time to fight to get my money back from mydumbpal. Best customer service and best app and also cheaper with way more stuff. thanks again !!!
lost 10Kg in 3 months, best to be honest and log everything you eat. AI scan is such a QoL feature.
The best platform ever! I recently sought out another platform, and am happy to have found this one. I definitely took a few days to get used to navigating the app but I have found it to be very user friendly and the layout is super helpful. Moving meals around is easy, adjusting the serving sizes is simple and being able to see your macro breakdown for each meal is fantastic. This is only day 3 but I am excited to see what the next few weeks will look like as I enter in more data.
I went through the whole set up to find out.. you have to pay.. I just want a calorie tracker..
Bad. It's just a subscription disguised an app.
Good
Please add API or MCP support, would like to use within GrokBot and ChatGPT. Would be great to let them create recipes via chat
I've only had the app for 10 days or so but so far, it works awesome. I had been using MyFitnessPal for years now but I love what MacroFactor is doing and added the exercise add on. its very user friendly and the learning curve wasnt bad at all. they also reach out by email to provide tips and ways to use the system better. if things turn south I'll update, or if it continues to impress me. Downside is theres only a 7 day free trial but it gave me enough time to decide to go for it.
This app is not great for tracking outside of the US. Tracking local foods is pretty much imposible. I wanted to check out the app so I tried it for a week, but unfotionately it is not for me a local tracking app is siply more practical. The app is expensive, but deffinitely has same love put into it, it isnt just a tracker and I would use it if i measured in bald eagles.
I am an endurance athlete and can burn 2000 kcal in a training session, even more on events. The developers of this app have declared they won't implement the simplest activity data type so I can explain to the app why I was eating more that day. It all gets mushed up into my average expenditure, not being able to have day-to-day control. I am baffled by this behavior.
My commitment to body goals.
Amazing app, really helpful for keeping track of what you eat, and amazing at providing a rundown of all your macros, vitamins and everything you wish to see about nutrition. Has a metric ton of foods available in its database, with label and barcode scanning (which did work amazingly), and a very well done photo and description analysis (other languages working too!). I only wish it let me *edit* the ingredients of a plate from a day, but I'm getting used to it by now. Very nice, useful app!
Pros: The UI is super intuitive and clean, and the AI feature is a game changer, it might not be perfect, but it's really useful. Cons: Small issues aside, it’s weird that the app only looks at your initil setup and weight changes, ignoring calories burned from exercise. For active people, that’s a dealbreaker, and it really kills the whole gamification and fun of tracking macros. honestly, I think this is a poor design decision and doesn't make sense for app like this.
that app is good asf because i started to gain weight and muscle after using it
searched for free macro tracker, this app is not free. you shouldn't list paid apps while searching for free apps
easy to use, nice app, good interface. a bit unusual for me not to see the calories burnt in exercise, but let's do it 😁
by far the best food tracker
This is the best meal tracking app I have tried by far. The AI photo meal entry option is a game changer for compliance with a busy lifestyle and is incredibly accurate.
have to pay for absolute nonsense
its getting harder to track food with so many changes to the app.
I liked it, but it fails to calculate when you take certain medication that can cause weight gain so it is kind of worthless when it tells you based on all the data and medication makes it where you put on anything you eat so I am giving it a 1 star because it did not work for me at all.
its working! sometimes a little tedious to add food log when im busy
App always gets stuck on non-Wi-Fi network while all other apps on my phone works as usual.
Helped me with losing 20lbs! Food scanning feature is my favorite
I've been logging my food for almost two years in MFP and MacroFactor is so much better. It's a lot faster and more flexible, and I like the AI feature for when I'm eating out. It's much better than the guesses I used to input into MFP. It would be nice if there was an ad-suported free or cheaper version, but I'm glad I switched!
Gets it all right and no hassle to use
Absolutely the best calorie counting app. I've used Nutracheck, MFP and another calorie counting app. They were basic compared to this. MacroFactor is like a salary pot. You get a weekly allowance. If you don't use up your allowance, you can roll it over and have bigger spends on another day. If you breach your allowance, you compensate on another day. It's so easy and successful at helping you lose weight.
very easy to use
Auto charged me the minute the 7 day trail ran out, not the day after. $50!
it would be helpful if the app told me how much fibre I was eating rather than just fat, carbs and protein. also it could differentiate between good fats and bad fats
best calorie tracking app on the market by far. works insanely well for motivated people
I absolutely love this app, the functionality and simple features make life easier for tracking calories. it's data managment and future planning is incredible having used now for 7 months. The only slight moan is the food log only being between 0700-2300 being a shift worker having to eat through the night, it would be amazing for this to be amended or a function of adapting the times to suit the user and their eating times etc.
I don't like how it made me fill loads of info, taking a good 5-10 mins, for it then to hit me with "it costs £10 a month"
it's ok. but as someone doing the min max program 5 days a week at 6 foot 4 215lbs it had me eating 1800 calories a day and my lifts now at week 5 have gone down. even after adjusting to gain weight. it's weird it calculates calories way too low for someone my size. Im doing it manually now and we will see. but it basically wanted me to starve 2200 calories isn't enough even for someone lifting 5 days a week.
it's been the right tool for my weight management and fitness journey
it's a paid app, it doesn't work
Freezes and does not respond. It's been doing this for over 4 months. Tried clearing the cache, force stop, uninstall and reinstall, still keeps doing that. Only works after restarting my phone. Don't understand what's up with Macro factor and workouts app. It's a massive headache everytime I wanna enter food or wanna workout it doesn't work, and always have to restart my phone.
Extremely difficult to use and counter intuitive app. I can't log a specific time , or for the love of god , I can't find where to change the time... waste of money and time. it couldnt identify not 1 food from europe through bar code. How am I suppose to know the amino acids and micronitrient in the collagen if they are not specified on the label ?
amazing commit to it and you'll reach your goals
First week using it, but pretty good! Still not sure if it is worth it when MyNetDiary is free, but I want to see what the coaching looks like next week.
Bit expensive considering other apps out there. is it worth it? I'll likely not renew it again and look for cheaper alternatives. Economy is not as good rn.
It's like a coach in your pocket. It's guided me through my weight loss journey (down 20 lbs so far) and made everything so easy. Highly recommend, very worth the money
amazing app and amazing customer service. I got double charged by google and they refunded the money straight away no questions asked. app is easy to use and much better than mfp
Great app! It's really helped me with working toward my nutrition and fitness goals.
One thing that's missing is nutritional advice. It tells us what calories to consume and how many macros to eat, but I'd like to see suggestions of what food to eat weekly that would come out to the correct macros. I like the app. It's easy to input what I eat and keep track of everything, but I just wish it would go more in depth with what foods to eat. Even if it was just a suggestion for the week during the check in feature. It could even be the same meals every day. Just a starting point.
I like that you can scan a barcode of a package or type in what you're eating and it gives you at least a starting point of knowing it's impact
I downloaded this on a whim after seeing it mentioned on YouTube. I'm glad I did. It has made taking my nutrition seriously feel easy. I never logged food or stuck to a diet because it was a PITA, demoralizing, a lot of work, and I didn't know if I was even doing it right. Now I can take a picture or scan the UPC and let AI do the heavy lifting. I now have an easy way to see my real caloric intake and that's awesome. It's not annoying to use and works with Google Health
Truly incredible app that is easy, flawless, and fun to use. I am also thankful they have a variety of Widgets for my home screen!
doesn't say that you need to pay for it before downloading.
I like how easy it is to log foods
The app works great, the Ai feature is spotty of course. This has been helping me lose fat, gain muscle, and it's stupid easy to use once you learn it.
came back after a year off and the recommendations are awful. Suggesting 1100 kcal to someone who's 80+kg and works out 5 times a week, should be criminal
I truly hated this app when I tried it last year, but I decided to give it another shot now. love the improvements, still got work tbd, and I hope the devil are really looking into the "suggest a feature" section in the app, got a massive potential.
Though I did enjoy this app while using it, there are a couple things I didn't like. The step count wasn't accurate (but I'm not surprised and easy to put in accurate step count). the main reason I give it 3 stars, is because I used their 2 week free trial. A couple days before the free trial expired, I deleted my account and the app because I wanted to try another app and compare them. I was still charged the $77 and not given a refund.
been using it for a couple years now. it heavily markets its coaching feature, I didn't really found it useful. they've been pushing their new ai feature, it works ig. what led me to give it three stars and canceling my subscription is the cost. If you have the money to spare, and want to try something different, or need some automatic/ai guidance, give it a shot
works exceptionally well
no it requires me to buy premium I am from a different country and plus its expensive
great tool
Overall great, one huge suggestion! I work night shift, thus, my awake time is 3p.m. to 7a.m. I would love a feature that allows me to adjust my daily reset timer around that. As it is, my diet tracking is getting cut in half midway through my day. That feature would turn this 5 star for me.
Just amazing
The App helped me lose 14 pounds, then I took a break. Now, I'm back at it.
Love the Foldable/Tablet support in the last update
The AI camera feature is a game changer. This app makes counting your macros easy. 10 out of 10!!
Good if you are American. Most food items are measured in imperial. I'm going back to myfitnesspal, despite its awful interface. Sorry Jeff.
this app and the people that run it are too. I was met with an issue. I paid double for my yearly subscription. I wrote to support to get a refund and not only was i met by a HUMAN and not a ROBOT, they also responded in less than an hour and got me my refund in a matter of two days. i loved the way they handled this and if i could give more stars i would.
amazing
Took me forever to set up my account and right at the end BOOM! Got slapped with a monthly subscription.
This is the third calorie tracker I've tried and it's by far my favorite. The barcode scan database is huge - it's found everything I've scanned so far - and the AI integration is super helpful when you don't know exact quantities of what's on your plate. The aesthetics and UX/UI are top notch!
took my money and then promptly locked me out of my account
I want AI to work like gemini so that I can say what I have and it do the calculation compared to having a preset list of things to choose from.
Horrific app. Can't do anything without paying.
I just wanted a calorie and trend tracker app and got an onboarding process asking for so much extra. Too extra. EDIT: I see, its early investment to show you a "program" and then the paywall. I get the tactic, it seems to be working for them; I find it contemptuous anyway.
It's great has recognised chips and a sausage so far
Love this app!! I've been a user for several years now. It's been excellent for maintaining, bulking and cutting as well as assessing nutrition goals with both macro and micronutrients! It actually does adapt to you and is very flexible with its database of foods and ingredients, allowing you to be as specific or perhaps vague as you need with an option to just describe the food or snap a picture of barcodes as well. I can't think of a better way to spend $6 a month, honestly. Worth it.
very intuitive
This app makes it so easy to log my macros, and makes me what to do it. I have already lost weight in 2 weeks!
It's awesome and has helped me lose a ton of weight and gain muscle.
just say the price up front don't waste my time
AI feature to recognize good is great. no more searching for your foods
on the trial version but ive been impressed so far. the picture taking feature is a time-saver and just liking this a lot.
I just love how user friendly it is and it's fun!
Good stuff.
awesome
I chose Macrofactor because of its best features (for me): AI description of food and it adds it automatically, creating recipes with link and photo, weight trend and semi-automatic calorie modification. My goal was to find my maintenance and keep it, that's done now. I would really appreciate customising the dashboard more, mostly with dragging stuff around but that's the least important for me. AI plate was incorrect for me-measured food compared to the photo calories-photo was 10-20% more
Works good when it opens. Haven't been able to track anything in two days due to the app failing to open or load. (I've restarted my phone, internet. force closed the app, uninstalled/re-installed the app). Regretting purchasing a year membership for software I can't use. Jeff Nippard bamboozled me. Stick to tracking with pen and paper. I've never had an issue with getting a literal notebook to open.
very easy to track macros, and you control what diets you wanna maybe follow
excellent app love it and use it daily would be helpful if search also queried the quick food add entries since that captures text data when adding meals.
What a scam. made me waste my time filling out a dozen pages of info before telling me to buy a plan. No free plan option of course. Just use cronometer.
great app, I know it syncs with the workout app, but I really wish they were just one app.
makes you go through sign up before prompting you to pay
Nice interface with a lot of helpful features that make logging faster and easier. I came from myfitnesspal and then Samsung health, and I have enjoyed how easy it is to log unrecognized foods. Especially helpful when the calories aren't provided and you have to choose between estimation or not logging at all. The app does need work with its AI estimation of serving size, especially for fluids, but it will come in time, I'm sure.
excellent program. makes this easy. i hate fumbling with my phone and this just makes it easier
a legit wonderful app, and highly recommended, this is the best I've found to track easily and have used for years now.
Very convenient and easy to use, lost ~40 pounds over a year, definitely recommend
Been using the app on and off for 5y now. It's a great app overall, I favoured it over Lose It due to the expenditure calculator, but the recent updates on the AI feature were a game changer! Now I can just loosely write down what I ate on the day, or take a photo of a big salad bowl, and it just gets it. I even stopped checking the ingredients it picks because it's better than me at it.
I have to restart my phone to get it to open, multiple times a day. Worked great for about 8 months before that. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvement. otherwise it's a great tool.
I've tried so many macro trackers and this is by far the best
not able to experience the app without subscription, one day or ten test photo
it's not free.
Down 70 lbs just by listening to the app! It works and I love it.
Only one hangup--I think the water intake tile should be editable so you can see your daily progress in something other than grams. Literally no one I know logs hydration in grams, lol Other than that, solid app and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
been working out for quite a while but i've never really seen massive results since i used this app. makes tracking mg macros easy and honestly a fun thing to do.
good but need more clean and friendly ui
it works well for the most part I would really appreciate if they would use their own AI to start just grinding out a database of food nutrition. having to go in an input every single thing is a pain in the butt. I really would appreciate if they also had a favorite list, I eat close to the same thing everyday and I have to manually input the same item over and over because it remembers it if I eat it at the same time, but if I choose a different time it's like it's never seen it before.
cant check out the app without paying for a subscription first.
the ai feature is not accurate
I think it's a pretty good app but a lot of the food nutrients are wrong, the calories are off on some foods too. I cant keep track of my sodium cause the numbers. are wrong on some of the foods I eat. overall I like the app tho bit it could definitely use some updates.
grabs all your data before you learn that you cannot progress without payment. scammy tactic and using AI - if you want to pay to use AI just use whatever AI tool you already pay for
pretty good ngl
missing basic stuff like snapping a nutrition label for new food for easier adding
its lit
This is an excellent app. really thoughtfully designed and something that I think is actually worth a subscription. One suggestion: the logging flow feels unintuitive at the very end. I click add but then I need to click 'log foods' again which feels like what I'd click to add something new, not to just log what I have just added.
The logging works well, unfortunately over half the time I scan items from Superstore and Costco it's in French.
This app is fantastic, it gives me the ability to control my weight how I desire.
easy to use. has helped me dial in my weightloss goals.
Its a great app that makes it simple and easy to track meals and maintain a diet.
it's not able to analyse airfried chicken fillet, keep pulling up a chick filet sandwich. Disappointed
took me 5 mins with many questions just to reach a point where i am forced to select the payment option
It would be a great app if it worked consistently. Many times I try to use the ai features and it won't upload my picture. Sometimes the app refuses to even open. Today I can't even log in. Glad I was able to cancel my subscription before the free trial was over.
like the app. would love to also have fddb as a source. one thing im currently missing is a vacation mode or smth like that were you can just mark days as not tracked or something because i dont generally track (calories, weight) on vacation and it often throws off the algorithm because i ate more in general or more carbs etc.
it's only free to download but there is an expensive subscription that is required to actually use the app.
To many times when I try to scan a barcode it goes to the label scanner. So obnoxious.
this app great other than their AI system for finding what you have is horrible. any other AI (Chat) is so much better.
Do not want this
PREDATORY APP / WILL AUTO SUB YOU USING GOOGLE PAY 76.63$ for a year of Subscription. Got this app on a trial code and it's been good. come to see I was charged / auto went threw with out asking me at the end of my trial if I would like to go you know... monthly/ bi yearly/ yearly you know????? Genuinely think that's super scummy. Thats up there with Planet Fitness levels of Filth . sure ai will read this hold on AWESOME LOVE THIS APP !!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE WHOLE FAMILY GET THE APP
asks for money and all money at each step
Fantastic app. The food database is very complete. I love that it's compliance-neutral. The AI plate analysis feature is really useful when eating out. Building recipes is easy and intuitive. MacroFactor takes out the math guesswork about calories so I can focus on cooking and enjoying food!
Excellent tracking app
trying this out as an alternative to cronometer. I weigh my food. right off the bat, find a food I can't enter in grams. insane they want me to pay $12/month and lack basic features that free cronometer has. do better if you want my money
I'm still getting used to the layout and details on this app
Great app. perfect for accountability and tracking progress. first world problem here... I use a folding phone, samsung fold 7, and certain parts of the app are a little wonky in the big screen formatting such as the number pad when entering macros. if that could fixed id be thrilled 😄 otherwise, works great.
Very simple to use and very helpful 👍
Makes you spend time submitting a ton of information to then paywall the app @ $12/month.
easy!
how dare you get me to download this entire app give you all my information and then at the very end you're going to tell me that it's not free it's a subscription and the subscription is 70 odd dollars a year. no damn thank you, I'll get a piece of paper and a pen thankyou! I would never pay over $70 for this nonsense
The app has super fast barcode search which is quite handy. Makes food tracking as easy as it can be. I like the way your progress is visualized. If you like numbers and stats, you will enjoy the app.
Great way to count your macros even when you're not sure of what you're actually consuming at the restaurant
hands down best app I tried!!!
This is the best diet app in the history of diet apps, maybe ever. If you're data nerd and diligent with your entries, you're gonna love it.
difficult to navigate
fast and easy to use
The app is easy to use and I love the features it has for making macro/calorie plans based off my weight goal and current progress!
I love this app!! Its easy to navigate!!
not free despite coming up when typing "free macro calculator " no free version whatsoever
I love the app. I wish that you could input dietary restrictions. I'm a vegetarian but when I take pictures using the AI feature, It always assumes my fake meat is real. It would be cool for it to always assume it's a vegetarian product.
not possible to test before put any credit card
CUATION, when changing from Monthly to Yearly subscription CHECK in Google Play that the monthly subscription is cancelled! I've just discovered I was paying for both for the past year... Other then that, this is a 5 star app, and despite the above I will continue to use this app. MF is a great and easy to use app, with great UX/UI. I like the all the graphs, planning, predictive modelling, and fitness tracker integrations that takes stats from my Samsung watch and Renpho Smart scale
Tracks calories very well.
DOES NOT WORK ON GRAPHENEOS this is a macro tracker app, why do you need play integrity/ device attestation? I would lime to use this app but I can't due to poor decisions by the developers
Best macro App I have ever used! it gives so much valuable information. I highly recommend
great app, can't complain. very easy to log foods
Appears to only pull my step count from health connect and not use my calorie burn. Expected more of a sync, and it appears no diffrent then other apps.
I wish I can change the gram of each food to the exact but other than that the app is good
Love your app, but I wish you could sync all the liquids as water intake to Health connect automatically. Now the app doesn't send any information about water intake so I have to use Google Health for that.
I've only been using it for a couple days but I have been able to navigate the app quite well. I love that I can take a pic of my food and it calculates the calories for me. the app I used before this one didn't have that feature and everything had to be manually entered and I would get frustrated with how long it took to enter my food. I like that the app records the time I eat. I'm hoping to get good feedback on how I can improve my eating/health with this app.
Doing the trial right now and so far I really like the app. Only thing missing for me is a fasting tracker. That would eliminate most of my macro tracking apps. And would only leave this one.
changing to 4 stars cause they did an update and messed up the logging color scheme
Good layout and features
Great app but lacks the link to workouts and increased calories per day as a result. It takes time to catch up if I have a busy workout week. Some days I burn 3000+ calories and since days I do not exercise. I wish it would take this into better account in the short term.
no french,
Until recently, this app has been my favourite calorie tracker. Recently, they've changed it so you can't just add a new food. If the app doesn't recognise the barcode, it insists on scanning the label with AI to generate it for you, which takes ages, and is usually wrong. Just return the option for me to add the details myself, this is so unnecessary Completely spoiled the experience
Reinstalled 3 times from the correct Google account only for it to pick up my other account with no payment method. I do not want to add any payment method to the automatically picked account so I won't be using it unfortunately. I wanted to use it that's why I tried 3 times to reinstall and create my accoubt from THIS Google account. 3 stars because it picked up wrong account everytime and won't let me change it.
love the app but marking days as incomplete is an absolute nightmare I can never find how to get there
I've used tracking apps for years and this is the only one where I've seen real progress. I've been using MacroFactor for 6 months, along with MacroFactor Workouts, and am almost to my goal weight. The adaptive energy expenditure is a game changer. Transitioning between a deficit and maintenance is super easy, the AI logging is extremely convenient, and the data is well represented in a graphically pleasing way. I highly recommend it for anyone series about weight loss or strength goals.
love the AI food calculator. works great surprisingly!
so much better than any app I've used and works well in Japan too. well worth the fee especially the bundle with workouts
Great app, but AI not working
Can't even make an account, just keeps saying error.
exceptional app. the tracking is easy, especially with the new improved AI
This app is a hot mess, cluttered, and not user friendly. So irritated I wasted money on a 6 month subscription for garbage I used for 2 days. TRASH.
this is amazing app! I've gained 10 pounds on my bulk it's super accurate and easy to use the only thing I would say is the AI is super accurate sometimes and other times it's not accurate at all but other than taking a great app
my subscription to my fitness pal had ended so was looking for a new app to try, its ok, the AI tracker is usefull but the calorie expenditure was way off for me suggesting nearly 1000 calories a day too high for me to lose weight so i would have had to separately work out my calorie deficit and not rely on the apps calculations, so would say be cautious if your specifically using the app for weight loss
MacroFactor has made it easy for me to track my macros and hit my weight loss goals. The food library and quick barcode scanning rarely fail me and when that doesn't work, scanning the label to add a new food takes seconds. In addition, being able to build custom recipes for new marcomagic recipes I find online ensures I don't overshoot my marco targets. I highly recommend this app to anyone interested in tracking their nutrition.
the menus are a little tricky to get used to but you can get all the info you need logged in a day and see where you need to tighten things up.
