Why do I bother paying for this streaming service when the app can't even load or stream a show without buffering every 10 seconds. None of my other apps do this.

STARZ IS A RIP OFF. I was cancelling subscription and they offered a discounted deal, so reluctantly I said OK. But they still charged my account the full price and will do nothing about it. I have sent several emails and done their chat bots ( they don't have a customer service number you can call ) ... and they do nothing. What a rip off !!

Tryed canceling subscription multiple times didn't work finally got it to work. Then they charged me anyway i wouldn't recommend using this app you'll cancel and they'll just charge you anyway then, you'll reach out to support. And you'll be told you have to wait 5 business days to be able to talk to anybody. So they steal from you, and then tell you to wait

Complete fraud of a service. I cancelled my plan due to low quality video and poor selection. They sneakily billed me for another year with a made up plan without so much as a notification or email. When I cancelled again they made me go through even more hoops. Considering they have almost nothing to watch it's clear where their time and effort go. Avoid like the plague. Do not give them card info.

SCAM!!!!! the 30 dollar a year promo actually is 100 bucks a years and you can't talk to customer service and they refuse to honor they're promo price or refund the upcoming 6 months they charged me for 3 days ago! had to turn to my bank to get my money back! Shows on here are not even worth the 30 bucks a year they advertise, stay far away from this deceitful company!

I almost never leave reviews for streaming services, but STARZ earned this one. I noticed a $74.61 renewal I didn’t intend to keep, contacted support, and within minutes my subscription was canceled and the full refund was issued. No arguing, no endless retention script, no runaround. I barely watch TV, and the process was so easy it almost made me want to keep the subscription. Best customer-service experience I’ve had all year.

Starz finally upped the anny and brought some addictive new series to the fold. Fightland kept it fresh and didn't bore me (even with all that London rapping #Woof). New Movies are bringing this app back to its peak. Bring Gaslighting back and other classics from elsewhere to stay punctual please

signed up for their stupid one year special and barely used their app maybe three times. after about a month when I realized there wasn't anything to watch I opened the app and cancelled the account. at the end of my subscription they charged me for a full year the $75 even though I had cancelled. customer service puts you on hold and then says after 40 min that You've reached the maximum wait time and hangs up on you. support chat does the same thing. say's they call/email. criminal. don't use

Awful experience with the app and customer service! I canceled the subscription. They still charged me $75.59 for 1 yr!. I requested a refund and instead of doing so. They said (automated text) I have a yr of service and they won't charge me after next yr. I requested a refund again and customer service keeps putting me on hold and then cutting me off after 15 minutes. They send a generic email that they'll respond in 48 to 72 hrs and then don't. Needless to say I filed a dispute with my bank.

horrible app on the phone and on TV. the only reason they still get my business is because of outlander and blood of My blood. takes minutes for the app to even open. a lot of times there are buffering issues, stalling issues, completely closes itself. this has been going on for years they have not fixed anything. this is probably one of the worst out there. and a lot of people the only reason they keep it is for one show. and sits right now it's been 4 minutes before it has even opened

Do not subscribe.If you decide to cancel online they don't cancel and take your money out of your account. I canceled on 8-24-26 and it said I could continue to use until 9-24-26 ok. We'll they didn't cancel on their end and now will not refund me. This was their mistake not mine. SHAME ON YOU STARZ !!! If I could they would get a zero. Netflix did the same thing, but did give me a refund. Again SHAME ON YOU STARZ !!!

Good God. The only reason to have this app is to see the movie 'tip toe". Seems like this app caters to bored house wives or worse,the PTA moms. You can't even watch it for free. It was a false advertisement

I had it for a year. It was going to expire in November 2026, I was hardly wattching it. So September the 12th 2026 I decided to cancel the renewal. Then I found out I can not watch it until my expectation date. I had 2 months left I paid for. It is no big deal, their programming is a bunch of B rated movies. Never again will I try Starz again. Save your money, it is no wonder why they offer the deal, 1 year $24. 2 dollars a month. Nothing good to watch. See ya Starz. bye bye

Fix the app. The app targets Android 16/API 36 and yet the app doesn't go Edge to Edge. The app's gesture area is black but the tab area above it is green. The gesture area should be green to match the tab area above it. Provide feedback and yet with every update the app is not fixed.

Starz used to have great shows and now it's very limited to what you can watch. I prepaid for a year so once that's done I'm not going to renew it

can't cast to tv, paid 12 dollars for a whole year I feel I overpaid. can't use the cast to tv option, which every other app can.

I ordered Starz on August 27th for a 7 day free trial and on September 3rd the $11.99/ month was to be taken out for the first payment and now they only took out a partial payment and now it's not due until September 18th. starz needs to get with the program when they do the free trial and payment after the 7 days, not 2 weeks later.

do not fall for this app in what it promises in return. They gave me a special one year subscription for $35. I did not have this with my Dish acct. Dish decided to add it to my acct at $20 a month. what was the $35 special for then. Apps are free, read the compliments left by people in their experience first about STARZ. not one good word was said about STARZ

I canceled Starz last December but when I decided to check my details again I discovered my subscription was still active and I was going to be charged $64, I had to cancel again, please check your details carefully!

Infuriating app! Does not show watch history. Close out of whatever you're viewing only for it to restart next time you open it unless you pause for a few seconds first. I'm halfway through the second season of a series I'm very much enjoying, but accidentally logged out. Logged back in and the app has deleted my downloaded episodes. Check the series only to find that it does not tell me what episode I was on. Good thing this subscription was cheap, or nobody would be using it.

Poor choices, old and at times low end movies, nothing new worth watching.

This app is horrible. It doesn't matter on the android, smart TV, or apple tv. I can't get a clear Pic. Constant pixilating. I have no issues with any other streaming service. I guess you really do get what you pay for. I would pay more if I could just see a clear view of the actors in the show.

The most annoying paid streaming app ever. Plays ads for content on the service with annoying and confusing control schemes making it difficult to skip! This is both on the Android and smart TV app. Instead of just being able to fast forward that control is blocked by the "add to watch list" button so you need to hit back on both Android and smart TV JUST TO START CONTENT YOU PAID FOR. I DONT CARE WHATS ON THE SERVICE. I HAVE EYES TO BROWSE.

Forced preview at the beginning of every movie or show. I pay so I don't have to see commercials or previews. Not renewing yearly account due to previews and lack of content.... If at least they allowed you to skip ahead, but no they force you to watch it.

I had the service for a year and I couldn't access it because the web was one of my users and I could only have two. it was for $1.99 a month and still managed not to be worth it. a lot of time was just use logging in because I didn't know that I could only have two devices and one of them was the web page I used to log in. it literally said web. so even though I had the service I was unable to use it for a year more or less. it took them over 1 hour to help me when they said 15 minutes.

there could be more of a selection in my opinion... otherwise I paid for the year for 2 shows only!

This app does not have 'continue watching'. And then if you pause it and try to go back to the movie later, it disappears for days. It also does not show up in the search menu when you type the name of the movie in. This streaming app lacks what the others have. Not impressed. Will not be renewing the service after year subscription is up, as I only got it to finish watching the Outlander series.

App isn't working at all. I just get a screen with the Starz logo and nothing else. I cleared cache and storage and uninstalled it and reinstalled it and nothing works. Please fix!

have to cancel because it says starz isn't available in my country and I live in the US, have no VPN, and just watched a movie, then when i went to watch something directly after, I couldn't watch anything because a popup came up saying starz isn't available in my country.

This app functions horribly. I'm a paying subscriber, & it's telling me it's not available in my country when I try to log in. I'm on a cell, in the USA. Get a grip over there, & please don't release any more junk shows!

a good bang for your buck I payed about 23 dollars for a year and the mini series and movies are pretty good for the price! I think if you get the yearly membership it's worth every dollar!

I love this app better than the other ones because it keeps you up on game as far as the next episodes goes. There's only one thing I completely disagree with is exactly how long it actually takes before the people who have any type of ownership of the app to post the next episodes after it's taken a freaking decade after the fact that they've already allowed the Universe of knowledge that it's actually been produced, but still haven't taken any action as far as premier ingredients being shown.

Starz movies options are terrible. l would say that only a few options interest me. I recall when they were alot better. Majority of the movies are B movies that I would not watch even if I was completely bored.

idk what's happening but all of a sudden it says it's not available in my country and I'm in America. been like this for a couple of days on my TV & on my phone it won't let me watch. I hope I get credited because my bill is paid and I can't watch smh.

Good app easy to use.. functions well. Easy to find options, settings &what to watch.

I'd give the STARZ app a 4/5. It has some good original shows and a solid movie selection, so there's something worth watching. I like that it's ad-free and lets you download stuff to watch offline. The biggest downside is that the app can be a little buggy sometimes. I've noticed it can be slow to load, and every now and then it has playback issues. The library also isn't as big as Netflix or Max, so I wouldn't keep it year-round unless there's a show I'm into.

Was offered promotion and ending up being charged the full price. When I tried to chat with someone, no one answered. I received an email and had to wait several days to be refunded my money.. Won't try this again!! Awful customer service and platform in general!!

WORST STREAMING APP PERIOD. Starz is absolutely garbage. it will buffer and then you get from 5 seconds to 30 seconds of video then buffer. this is non stop. if you can deal with that and sit for 25 min to watch 5 min of a movie then sometimes you get lucky and it will start playing normally. i have 0 issues with other apps streaming. what a waist of money. they have a decent movie selection but you waiting on the buffering would make a monk scream. what a waist of money.

very frustrated about a recurring charge from last year that I I received no warning of renewal I can't find one email about it I can't find anything anywhere just to charge on my card. If you're going to charge a card you should send out a bill first. Then it's not that easy to just go and cancel it and I'm already being charged. I honestly can't find even where I got the subscription from I forgot I even had it. very frustrated and three is generous

Not worth it even at $4/month promo pricing. The video quality is horrendous. Streaming on snappy 5G wifi on my PHONE with no other devices on the network and it's pixelated! Also the caption formatting is intrusive – it's 2025, we don't need black boxes behind text. Such a downgrade from watching on Netflix, but they didn't have half the season of my show. Ended up using Amazon Prime Video – same issue with the captions, but at least it's HD!

TRASH APP! The app will constantly log you out. You have to sign in multiple times through the app and the Internet over and over before you can add devices (example, connecting to your TV). When the app gets an update you are logged out. The loading upon opening the app is the longest load time ever. The app is so trash I'm considering canceling the service

I made the mistake of accepting a 6-month offer for $20, I then turned around and canceled my subscription because I didn't want to renew it at the end of the 6 months. 6 months later Stars tried to charge me for a Year's subscription and my account declined it. I canceled my account again and got a confirmation on it. Everyday after that stars kept trying to charge me for lower subscriptions until they finally found one at the amount would go through on my bank. It's predatory borderline fraud.

Starz was once my favorite. But now, as a streaming platform, it has a playlist that is filled to the brim of BET and LIFETIME shows plus the best that rotten tomatoes has to offer. Luckily for the subscribers, paying only $2-5 dollars a month, they are at least getting what they pay for. It is very difficult to remove a horrible show from the "continued watching" section, so save your sanity and only click once on the three dots. Also, the arrangement of shows was made by a madman.

Horrendous. I have high-speed internet with zero issues with any other device or streaming platform. We are gamers, so we have top of the line internet, yet Starz is the only app that will play 3 seconds of content and buffer for 2 minutes at a time. It's RIDICULOUS, and I have no other way to watch the newest episodes of Outlander, so I'm stuck with this horrific service.

The app takes forever to load. When it does all the content images are missing. The app closes and fails more consistently than it works. I can't believe I pay for this service. I think I'm gonna have to cancel if you can't at least get the streaming app to work properly. What's the point in having this? I am realizing that I always try to open stars and find my favorite shows and movies, but then get annoyed and end app going to a different streaming service. Don't waste your time on this app

This app has proved to be the definition of "you get what you pay for" I subscribed with a discount offer and have had issues with shows not auto-playing the next episode. I could not find a setting in any of the menus to adjust this, so I reached out to tech support. After 40 minutes, all I got were 2 pathways in different settings categories that had no autoplay options, then I was asked if I could "use the app without casting", then I was told there are no settings adjustments for auto-play.

My trial isn't go so well. I was just using the app an hour ago but now I'm logged out. I was sent an email with a link to reset the password, but that pulls up your main website where I'm already logged in and there's no way to change the password without knowing it.*EDIT* I had to log out for the link to work 🤦‍♀️ next problem: I had several downloads going and they've just disappeared. I checked all profiles. Nothing.

I was almost going to get the Straz $3 per month for 3 months but, I then remembered Starz doesn't show movies as the filmmaker intended! They use full screen as opposed to letterbox (the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen are supposed to be there ) which means you're not seeing the movie as you would in theaters or other streaming services. I'll never spend even $3.00 to watch a movie that's been butchered , especially for the first! If people only knew what they were missing.

I'm already a paying subscriber !!! Starz takes hours to work correctly ! Daily re-connecting .. Sign busy, goes for 20 hours plus, then all of a sudden programming plays !!! Daily same routine . What's the problem ?! No other apps have this issue . If I did something wrong, it would not work, period ! This is the most sickening ongoing process I have ever had with a wacko app, signed in on both Cell & Tv; already synced.. But that process acts as if it never took place !!!

This is the worst subscription service I've ever used. I have tried everything to cancel my subscription and nothing has worked. They suggest you go to the microsoft store but there's nowhere to cancel the subscription. Literally there should be an option to cancel the subscription right in the app not having to go to a third party site. I am severly dissapointed in how difficult this has been to do a simple task.

Nothing but movie previews will play! I just signed up and was able to watch half a movie then got a "playback error". I went to the help center, did all the cache clearing uninstall.. reinstall. Nothing fixed it. Emailed and was given a huge list of what they need from me to pass on to their tech. Too much trouble for not a great selection. MAX never has issues. Canceling STARZ.

Lliterally since day 1 I've had issues with it freezing, skipping, loading slow. This isn't the first review I've left and I've also reached out via email and if course I never hear anything back. No one wants to keep paying for something when they aren't able to get full use out of it. And that amount of data Starz uses is flat out ridiculous. I understand it takes time to correct "bugs, glitches" but I know y'all can do better. I can't even cast it because it don't show the option to do so.

Absolutely disappointed. Got this app specifically to be able to watch our new favorite show "Heels". However, neither on our televisions nor our phones, could we get a single episode to play. We were given "Playback error" on every attempt. Not to mention that the same ad successfully loaded on all attempts, so we were lucky enough to watch the same ad at least 9 times. Severely dissatisfied and regret spending the money and the time to create an account.

Worst streaming app ever. I work in IT and I've never seen an app this bad that actually hit the market. The "claim special offer" button is for you to pay for an app most wouldn't use for free. -Constantly logged out of my account in the middle of watching. -Log in works sometimes saying "error connection" that's on Starz's end not yours. (You could try a dozen times and still nothing). -As you're logged out willingly or not, your show wouldn't be saved where you left off most of the time.

Saw an ad for stars 2 months free and then $4.99 4 months after so I thought I'd give it a try and wasn't pleased with their selection of movies, most older movies, a lot of selection of series and it's not complete. So was going to delete but saw that they charged me 19 99 as soon as I did a free trial. When it says two free months then $4.99 after, it should be free for the first 2 months!!! I would have unsubscribed after the first month but since I was charged I guess I'm stuck with a icon😶

Been getting charged on 2 emails for 2 months on different credit cards. Starz will not refund money. When they can see I only use the account with the roku. Never watch a single show on my app. I'm already living paycheck to paycheck. I want a refund. They don't even try and keep as a customer they like I canceled your subscription and email billing. We can't transfer. That unprofessional in a business. You can not get a phone call the billing. Ridiculous.

I download movies and shows on wifi because I'm on bad cellular service in the sticks. And, I get a playback error every time I try to watch a downloaded movie and it's too slow to stream. This app is useless to me. I feel robbed. As a paying customer, I can't watch what I paid for. And, they have so many great movies. But, their Draconian DRM and persistent connection issue is horrible.

It doesn't allow to cast on tv, every time I try, seems like is loading but never does. Eventually it says my wi-fi is low, weird thing it only happens with this app. I can cast from every other app I use (Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Disney +, etc), but this is definitely a NO!. I tried on Android and also Apple, none of them work. Been trying to watch a movie since Saturday with no luck!

The app is not the best and can use some updates. The first section is not have the shows I saved. I have to scroll down a few lines to get to this secrion. Wish it had features like skip the ad, recap, and intro. This is not available on the phone or TV. I constantly get a notification stating "an unexpected error has occured" in the middle of the show. I have to click okay and then play the show again. Very annoying. You can create multiple profiles. Not sure how many.

After subscribing, even on their website, it says you have to download the Starz app. Ok, cool. Yeah...not so much! After installing when you actually go to open it all you are going to get is a black screen that says Starz. Nothing ever popped up to be able to actually watch anything. I un-installed, re-installed numerous times both w/ and w/o WiFi. It made no difference either way. Do yourself a favor and subscribe through your cable company. 100% don't bother with the app.

Would be 4 stars,but why do I have to watch a 30 second 'promotion' to watch something on a premium subscription service. This is annoying and makes me not want to keep my aubscription. Heck, prime video lets you skip the promotion. This was the primary factor of stopping my paramount subscription. The text and movie pics are small, makes them hard to read when looking at their selection.

I subscribe to Starz through my cable company as well as Starz Encore. Meanwhile I cannot access a ton of things on the app because it tells me I need to upgrade my acct in order to watch them, and the items are locked. There is no way to upgrade anything -- I already have a subscription. I'm supposed to have access to everything, and it doesn't work. Not on my phone, my laptop, my Roku OR my Firestick. It's bait and switch at its worse. I'm ready to cancel the entire thing since I'm clearly paying for nothing.

Really disappointed, thought this would be better, when it comes to control, it sucks, you can Not change your pin number ever! You can not log out of all devices, from your main profile, ( remotely) like most other subscription apps So if you use parental control, and someone see or gets your pin,well. It was suggested, that I cancel, wait and renew, just to change the pin. Not gonna happen, I cancelled, but won't be renewing. Way better apps out there, that's are easier, way less headaches

I'll pay for service when you fix the casting issue. I can only watch on my phone. Makes me angry! Been trying to watch this show for a month. The Chromecast button doesn't work. So I try watching on my computer. The audio won't work properly. Too much bass. I don't have this sound problem with YouTube so I think it's Starz site that I can't figure out how to turn down the damn bass.

Does not work with a VPN and nearly impossible to cancel subscription. They make it near impossible to cancel a subscription, including multiple confirmations that you really want to cancel. Also, I use a VPN for my work and this app refuses to function while the VPN is running. As for their content, selective and panders to only a few interest groups. I paid for ad-free and still get commercials. Not worth it for me.

I really do like this app. I hardly have any trouble with it but there is one that is really frustrating.... I log in through my DirecTV to watch and after I'm done it logs me out every time. So if I want to put a movie on real quick, I have to continue entering my login credentials. There is no way to click "stay logged in" because they don't have a button for that. Just sucks having to login every single time you want to watch something... If it is fixed, I'd be happy to change my rating.

Come on, Starz. You have got to, at the very least, install buttons to rewind 10 seconds and jump ahead. A skip credits option would be great. Automatically playing the next episode would be nice and a skip credits option. We only have the bare minimum from you. The app is also bad at keeping track of progress, so when watching a series, I have to remember exactly where I left off....

Doesn't work on 3/4th's of the devices in my home, and the one device it works on it buffers constantly, despite a 100mbps download speed with 0 packet loss. Everything else the app will open but has no contents, the tabs are just empty. Multiple smart tv's and my pc are like this. I have tried restarts, resets, reinstalls. Cleared data and caches multiple times. No other streaming service I have used has this problem. Don't waste your money, this service is NOT worth the price.

It is over all a decent app. It does take a while to load sometimes, and freezes. Lately there is a loop it gets stuck in, just replays until you exit out and reload the movie. But then it happens again later, so far is only happening on my Chromebook though, I think. Hopefully they get all the bugs fixed someday. But I'd recommned it just for the content.

Terrible play back. Constantly pauses... On my tablet, phone, computer, even my TV... wi-fi, line-in or data. I have no issues with any of my other entertainment streaming apps. But this app is so frustrating! Every minute or so it pauses and I have to click "pause/play" to resume the show. I've tried at least a dozen tips & tricks without success. Not worth paying a subscription price. Not even worth the aggravation of it were free.

The app buffers a lot. The content is the only thing carrying it. It doesn't maintain a connection to chromecast to continue streaming. When watching a series, you have to reconnect the app to the streaming device each time to start the next episode. It's really not worth the current "discount" of $4.99. The interface is not friendly either. It doesn't update recently watched properly. The link it does provide doesn't open to the series but opens to one episode. The interface feels dated.

Pre-roll ads for Starz programming work FINE, but the second they're over the actual movies I've recently tried to watch are supposed to start, the loading icon or whatever displays for a while and then the app says "Sorry, a playback error has occurred. Please try again." EVERY SINGLE TIME! I've tried force-stopping the app, clearing its cache, and even reinstalling it, but nothing has helped. I'm considering CANCELING my Starz subscription that I get through my TV provider over this!

It would frequently freeze up during streaming. And, worst of all, when you wish to unsubscribe, there is no way to unsubscribe through the STARZ app or website or support. They expect you to figure out how to unsubscribe via whatever platform you downloaded it from, which doesn't actually work (according to their instructions). Extremely disappointing.

I always have to log back in everytime I use the app. Also, for some reason, when I log back in, the audio always defaults to spanish. When watching on phone, tv shows will automatically play the next episode, but not if you cast to your tv. Used to work fine, but as the description says, it's always being updated. Fixing what isn't broke.

Extremely poor connection! Whether on WiFi or a strong data signal, the video pauses and buffers repeatedly and interrupts the movies. This is one of the worst app experiences I've ever had. I will be deleting it and cancelling my subscription. I never have these issues with any other streaming app. Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Play Movies, Hulu all work flawlessly. Starz is a joke.

The app is great, good amount of entertainment and had absolutely no issues within the app. However, this company is terrible. Quite possibly the worst interaction I've had despite patience. They have charged me for three or more months after canceling. They have refused to manually change my subscription and purely notifies me how to cancel it. Pretty disappointing. Pretty frustrating. I'm afraid to file for fraud at this moment, I just can't take this anymore.

Had a hard time trying to cancel my subscription. It will cancel if you are trying to use your phone( no matter what kind if phone). You have to log in from a computer/lap top. Once you log in, it literally takes 1-2 mins to cancel and they will offer you a lower price not to cancel lol. Hope this helps out

The app is decent at best. While it has some great movies to chose from, you'll find that this service will gobble up your data at twice the rate than other streaming services (ie. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc). The other issue, as other customers have pointed out, is the maddening difficulty to unsubscribe using a smartphone. You will either need a computer or to adjust the settings on your phone browser to "Desktop Mode" in order to access your subscription settings on the Starz webpage.

I enjoyed the app at first but after my trial was over I've been trying to cancel my subscription for months now. There is no option to cancel on the app and it doesn't show up in subscriptions on the google play store to do it that way. I've contacted Starz via email twice with no response. Very unhappy with the way this is set up. Fix this problem and provide a customer service number atleast.

[EDIT: I was finally able to cancel it. The process was tedious at best, especially because the directions aren't perfect. I had to maneuver blindly around the set up of my phone's page layouts to make my way to a "Cancel" option due to this.] Nothing I do allows me to cancel my subscription, it's ridiculous. I've followed the directions given to me via email, I've gone to the "manage subscription" section and it only gives me the details of my account, not an option to cancel. Very frustrating!

I GOT IT! I was having the same problem with the app on my firestick. It kept telling me to go through Amazon but I kept saying I never had a subscription. I finally canceled it. I had to go to Amazon, then "Your Account" then Membership & Subscriptions it will say no subscription found. What you have to do then is look right below that and it will ask, "Don't see your Subscription? Take me to my.. You have to scroll the arrow > over and choose Appstore Subscriptions click Action cancel renewal.

I wish I could give STARZ a glorious review for the content of the shows. I love Outlander and I like the easiness in which I installed the app and watched it on the go. HOWEVER the technical assistance is awful and I tried to cancel my subscription over and over again through the app to no avail. They orient you to do something that simply doesn't exist in the app. Thanks to a reviewer here, I did it on my laptop and canceled it right away. So there.

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months. They make it impossible. I've tried contacting them via email, and through their "need help" link. In the settings it has a link that says Manage Subscription(renew or cancel) but once you open it, it doesn't let you do anything. Starz sucks, I'll never subscribe again, and will be contacting my bank to disallow them to charge me again. I highly, highly recommend you don't do their free trial, you'll be stuck committed something not worthit

I'm having the same issues as the Starz app doesn't show up in my subscriptions, so I can't cancel in the Play Store. The app is crashing, so I can't cancel the subscription after paying for it in Starz for months and it continues to attempt to take money from my bank account. I think I will seek further assistance reporting this fraudulent behavior. This application is behaving quite peculiar and I'm left without redress. It isn't the sum of money that's so troublesome, it's the lack of concern

Terrible! I tried to cancel my subscription, but they make sure you can't. No matter how many instructions they give you, they never work. Total ripoff artists! Contacting them seems next to useless. Don't subscribe to them! An Update: I had to use a different computer in order to cancel my subscription. The 2 tablets I own wasn't useful for me to cancel my subscription. I used the pc at work and was able to get on my account and cancel my subscription. I went through alot of trouble to cancel

DO NOT TRY THE FREE TRIAL I sent an email, it's automated, I called, it's automated, there's no way to cancel your subscription. I didn't go through any app, I tried the free trial and after a day of not using it, it tells me that I'm unsubscribed and all of the movies / tv shows had a locked icon on it. It loads slow as molasses on a smart TV, the connection is horrible and I was still charged $8.99, I'm waiting for this transaction to process so I can dispute, stay with Netflix and Hulu!!!

After logging in to your starz account to cancel your subscription on your android click on the top right 3 dots stacked and select desktop. From there you can navigate to your subscription management and cancel option. You cannot do it from the app! I thought it was ridiculous that they make it so hard to cancel and felt like a scam. Not worth the hassle!

Can't unsubscribe from the subscription once you are subscribed. I did the free trial and then continued for several months. Now I'm no longer watching, but continuing to be charged. 0 out of 10 F The app also never worked on my TV. It would only ever give me a loading screen. The loading screen would then never go away, even after I closed the app. I had to completely turn off the TV to get it to go away.

I've been trying to cancel my free trial and I cannot get any help, there is no way to cancel in the app or app store. I was also charged right when I started the FREE trial, awful service so far and I do not recommend. If you have Spotify, you get Hulu free & Netflix is much better than this too, more choices and options than the few Starz offers.

SO MANY technical issues. Good selection if you can every get them to play. WORST streaming app EVER! Start with the trial, after seven days you will want to delete it. The worst is trying to play a show/movie and then it tells me I can only stream on 4 devices. Funny, I know I was only using one device. Restart, force stop, uninstall/reinstall equals NO HELP.

I am disappointed in this app. While I was using the free 7 day trial it worked perfectly but after paying for the next month, it wouldn't load the show that I was in the middle of watching. It kept saying that the app had stopped working. I wasted money on an app that I didn't get to use for more than the 7 day free trial. I cancelled my subscription and will be deleting the app. Please do better for your other customers.

Decent selection- seems to be more choices than many other streaming services- but that doesn't matter when it won't play anything. I've used it once or twice with no problems but most times get a "Playback error" message and tells me to restart my device, though restarting it doesn't help. I still get the error message. Would be nice if it actually worked. Don't waste your time or money.

App seems to work consistently but the app itself has become more convoluted, & less intuitive overall. As well as adding more trailers at the beginning of a show that you can't just "skip".For binge watching it often won't have the trailers but it may have a recap & an intro. This can be good if you need a little help remembering but usually I just want to get into the next episode.I can skip ahead in 10 sec increments with the onscreen controls but then it takes time to load for every click.

We love the movies and series! But all of a sudden, the damn app buffers like crazy. Does the exact same thing on our roku TV. Takes us over an hour to watch 20 minutes of show. We tried latest update download on our TV and my phone and still buffers every 30 seconds. Very annoying and unfortunately will end up canceling our subscription; why pay to watch and not be able to enjoy it.

Signed up for 7 day free trial w/ $5 a month for 3 mos deal which obviously required a credit card to be kept on file for them to charge once the free trial period was over. Free trial period ended, decided to keep the deal as $5 a month for the next 3 months is a good deal; credit card automatically charged for 1st mo. then I can't access Starz and it's saying my account lapsed and I would essentially pay an additional $5 to reactivate. How is it lapsed when it was auto charged by Starz!NOTHX

Great selection of shows and movies! I watch from my phone often and for some reason I get the alert that the app is draining my battery even after I close it out. I have to force close the app to get the alert to go away. Also I wish there was an option for videos to be full screen with no black bars on the side.

Impossible to manage subscription once they trap you. DO NOT FALL FOR THE FREE TRIAL!!!! IT WILL NOT BE FREE!!! Even after a 40 minute, no kidding - 40 minute wait time on hold the so called customer service will NOT help you. Not worth the occasional mediocre movie that you can get on demand for a lot less hassle. DON'T DO IT!!! Better to pay a couple bucks more for Showtime, HBO, Netflix, or Hulu.
