Sling TV is friggin HOT GARBAGE!! I live in Arizona, and with my proper zip code entered, I have channels from Bollywood, The Middle East and Asia. not sure why? I thought I purchased the orange and blue package. I tried to refresh my channels list on my TV, through my phone. Did nothing. still way too many channels I will never watch, that I have to scan through. I'm cancelling this ASAP

Multiple regressions in app version 9.5.169 autoplay is hit or miss 50/50. The issue where the recent watchlist row incompletely populates is back sometimes, where it only shows the CC option. have to back out to the home screen and start the stream again. On a Google TV the continue watching row fails to populate or randomly populates for a few minutes then drops off totally.

NO LOCAL TV and I live 30 miles from Portland and 20 to Salem, Oregon. They also SAY switching from blue to orange is free but THEY CHARGE A SECRET FEE of $1.95 plus tax EVERY TIME you do! With ZERO customer support! No humans!! You may only text with an AI bot to contact them. They have shut the gates and don't care about their users. STAY AWAY RIP OFF

The app was okay, but don't go with Sling. They will keep billing you after you cancel, and won't refund except the last month. Then they tell you to go to your bank to try and get the rest. I was a good customer for years. They are not a good faith company.

if you want cheap tv sling is for you but you get a cheap app that they are constantly changing. One day forward works the next day it's so fast you can't watch tv. Mobile app is better for fast forwarding but buggy, skips to end of show. But you can't beat the price.

Everywhere I looked said I could watch the World Series with the $19.99 selects package. I paid for it and now it says I can't and it's blocking me out so I paid for nothing. False advertising, there is no guarantee that you can watch what they charge you for.

This is the slowest and most unresponsive app I have ever used. Takes 30 seconds for anything to respond to your remote commands. It's always lagging and sluggish and takes about 5 minutes to actually start watching anything. They need to lower their prices for these reasons alone along with all the Big Pharma ads and political ads

If there was a "zero" stars option, that's the one that I would've chosen! Sling, when I'm playing a recording over the DVR, I want it to "stop" when I get to the end of the recording. You've got it set up so that when the last DVR video is played to automatically go to the associated videos on demand. If I wanted that to happen, I wouldn't have recorded the video! STOP doing stupid things!

I absolutely love Sling especially now that it has stingray Oello. concerts, music videos, band documentaries? so awesome. best app out there 💯 percent 😉

The DVR (my recordings) screen is half taken up by Slings ad to upgrade to unlimited storage for more money. This makes the list of actual records nearly unusable. I haven't upgraded space in 2 years and never will. Give users the option to decline and permanently remove this stupid ad.

I signed up for Sling TV’s Orange + Blue package for $69, then overnight was billed $149 for multiple premium services I never selected in the app or on my TV. they raised the price and made the service quality even worse than before. skips and freezes constantly, pixels and horrible quality when using app on mobile/smart tv, the app is bugged the current ver wont work on my tablet, randomly stops and goes black screen, no longer compatible with google nests as it refuses to play only sling when asked. i have the fastest fiber optic internet available from my isp for work and gaming, I know damn well its not my wifi lmao. my other streaming works fine

I was randomly canceled from a monthly service of almost $70. I got to watch one week of service but never got to watch the rest of the month. I paid for an entire month but never received it. Help desk said there was nothing they could do. Basically this app stole my money and they dont care. Do NOT use.

I stopped cable when the expense out weighted the value. I was only using a few channels. Sling provides those (ie CNN, MSNBCnow) plus others I enjoy.

It's ok. Pretty expensive if your wanting to watch sports. There on all channels now not just "sports channels ". I need to reset my phone once a day to get things working correctly.

the phone app version is great but the speed of the TV version has a lag and a delay to it needs a major speed boost in the interface

Works like absolute trash trying to stream on TV. Every click is super delayed and then it just closes for no reason. I've updated the app, deleted and redownloaded... still does not work well. 1 star is probably even a little generous.

I paid $61 for the total tv deal.i had that amount deducted from my google play balance.i now have a notice that my account is delinquent and cant switch .it was paid oct 22nd.i think they just want a credit card on file to to keep charging you.This happened to me with them years ago..thought i would try once more.I've learned my lesson with them.never again.i requested a refund from google and im waiting to hear.Worst part was i purchased $61 from google play strictly to pay for sling.

Ive only had this app for 2 days, and I have experienced freezing, stuttering, and forced rewinds. I bought this app specifically to watch the MLB playoffs - NLCS, ALCS, and World Series. In the middle of the first game I tried to watch, Sling started automatically rewinding to an earlier part of the game. Also found out that while FS1 was an available channel for me to watch NLCS, I am not able to watch the ALCS on TBS of all channels. How is FS1 available but not TBS???

The worst customer service. I paid for a month's subscription but did not receive my subscription. The only way now to contact customer service now is by using chat. The so called representative refused to let me talk to a manager after several requests telling me they cannot do anymore to help. I was never able to recover my payment or get my subscription I paid for. They've lost me as a long time subscriber because of their atrocious customer service but I'm sure they do not give a fig.

The Sling App on Android TV used to be fairly good. It would recall the shows I watch regularly and queue the new episodes. These days, nope... it's constantly pushing things at me I'll never watch. What's the deal, Sling? Worst of all, though, the app has grow very flakey, crashing all the time. I can't recall a time recently when it didn't crash at least once during the morning news. The app constantly crashes and goes back to the television home screen. It never used to do this but all of a sudden it constantly crashes. All of my other apps work just fine except for sling so it has to be something with the app not my television or the internet.

I have not been able to watch Sling consistently, since early September. The app is freezing and crashing so much! I've unplugged my firestick so many times in the past month! I had assumed it was time to get a new firestick, but all of my other apps are working perfectly fine! I paused my account for a few months because I refuse to pay for something that is inaccessible!

I've been with Sling for 8years and have NEVER had issues!! I can change my package whenever I need to and now add things just for a day or a weekend.... the flexibility is absolutely worth it!!

Bait and switch! I subscribed to Sling Blue so I could watch WNBA games. So far, every game I've tried to watch requires a different package subscription to watch it. Sling offered day passes as another option, but as of today, those are not available anymore. I've canceled my subscription. They got $45.99 out of me, but that ends there. Scam.

sling, TV, fubotv and YouTube TV. they're all a monopoly, but here's the real kicker. they have more commercials than programming. they're pushing people away from wanting to watch TV. I for one am going to give up on all of them because they're all not worth the money and anyone who has any of those apps is a fool. you're watching 16 to 20 commercials for a few minutes of programming. the commercials have more time than the program. what sense does that make? think about it

I have this app on just about all my devices, but can't get the app on my 2026 Samsung smart tv. I have a home in Puerto Rico and all other devices can get the app except my Samsung tvs. I called customer support and they tryed to help, but were unable to resolve the issue. I believe that Samung or Sling needs to update the firmware on the television so it can get the app to work because it not available here in Puerto Rico for their apps. It is not geolocked for Puerto Rico.

All it does is scroll it's really sicking. I just uninstalled and reinstalling to see if this remedys the problem!?!

They fail to fix known bugs, secretly tinker with functions, like fast forward (which actually goes back to force you to watch unwanted content) on recorded (DVR) programs. 3rd UPDATE 9/30/26: NAVIGATION BUTTONS now hardly work at all. Push slow forward, or one arrow and might go backward... WORSE THAN TERRIBLE. MINUS TEN STARS

We are big soccer fans, and we enjoy sling.

(This review is about their Fire TV app) Avoid this app like the plague! They haven't even figured out basic functionality like pausing and fast forwarding, such as I paused the video, but then could not resume it again. I then restarted the app and tried to fast forward to where I was, but then it couldn't play the video and just kept skipping forward very slowly. Unbelievable that, in 2026, Sling can't even figure out the most basic of video streaming functionality.

DO NOT BUY 1 DAY PASS. I purchased a 1 day pass, it showed me a game available and after paying the game isn't available.

Super easy to find and watch what's on TV, or to set up a recording.

No free trial, no prime time networks like ABC in certain markets like Huntsville, AL which is just sad. No ability to cancel and get a refund within 3 days if not satisfied. I'll never use sling again. TV app also takes too long load upfront, has locked or frozen up my entire TV a few times. Could not even turn my tv off. Had to unplug it and plug it back in. Too expensive for what you get in return.

I would give 5 stars, but it's needs to add tv tuner for Sony Bravia TV and the app showing the next due date of our bill.

The alleged ease you claim on how to change any info in our account by going to the web or the google play store is a fallacy. I have done all options to change my billing address and nothing. There is nowhere for me to change my billing address. I checked on the tv app, on my phone app, on the web account, and on my google play. Nowhere does it show where to change the billing address. WHY DO YOU MAKE THINGS SUCH A PAIN IN THE XXX?????

The Sling website advertised a college football game I was interested in. I purchased a day pass, with the additional sports option. However, the game was not available after my purchase. Sling got me, don't let them get you.

Do not get for watching sports if you travel. If you get this to watch sports, know it's 100% useless to watch YOUR team unless you're physically in the location where the game is broadcasting. App has no settings menu to allow adjustments. VPN doesn't work either.

FRUSTRATING!!! It freezes constantly no matter what device I'm using. I try to access the menu while watching a show and it lags so bad or doesn't even respond. As of the middle of September, the freezing has gotten so bad that I have to unplug my tv and Roku to get it to exit the app. And do NOT pause a show for more than a few seconds or it kicks you out of the app. Then you have to restart the app and hope you can still access the show and be able to pick up where you left off.

I have had another billing issue and contacted the customer service chat. The agent told me I have no email address or name registered, but I have had it for years. The agent disconnected I signed up for a monthly subscription and was billed twice for the same subscription. I spoke with Sling chat support who told me they could not refund me the money I was over charged. I asked to escalate to a manager and was told there was nothing a supervisor could do and the agent promptly ended the chat.

Unlike other apps, Sling lacks the facility to let the user have a MyList or a set of pinned channels. Instead, its constantly guessing and marketing, creating lists of channels I mostly do not care about.

We love it. Reasonable price. They have all my favorite channels. NO equipment to rent. And DVR.

You got two starts for the orange level day pass. lose a bunch because i can only watch ohio state game on my tv and cant get it on my phone. between all these streaming services to watch my ONE team play, we already have enough hoops and hurdles to jump through why make it more difficult.
