place a order for just 2 idems it took all day to get until I didn't need it anymore I had placed it at 8am and its now 5:30p.m. also wouldn't give a refund back...

I put my order in to be delivered between 6-8PM and my shopper bought all of the groceries but when I checked the app a little while later it said my order was confirmed and that the expected delivery was by 10PM. Never gave me a notification as to why my order suddenly started over or why my shopper disappeared. Had to cancel cause the store closed at 8 so there wasn't going to be enough time for a new shopper to get my items.

Instacart is just so bad now. I'm not sure what changed, but twice I've had my groceries delivered to my neighbors. once the person checked out and said they were on the way and then my entire order disappeared and an hour later a new shopper was selected and then that order is the one that came? tonight, once again, order accepted at 12pm, estimated delivery around 115pm. nope, kept changing, accepting etc, finally a shopper selected around 5pm, supposed to be delivered by 615. it's past 7 now

There's a service fee, a "long distance" delivery fee even though I'm not far away, and pretty much any other way they can tack on fees. And I paid for the membership. Doesn't seem like that means anything. Also, most recent order was given a substitution I did not approve and was not contacted to give approval for. I was given a 3 hour delivery window and the order was late. Very unreliable so far. The reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is because the shopping list feature is actually helpful.

The shoppers disregard your requests. The shoppers will also keep items. Instacart customer service will do nothing about it. I cancelled a shoppers tip immediately since they never responded to my texts. I cancelled my membership once instacart didn't help.

This app is great when you have had surgery and cant get out, its a major plus. Have used them many times.

Possibly the laziest & worse trained support staff I've ever had to deal with. I have been having an issue for 2.5 months now where my $20 credits for my Chase Ink business cards are not showing up. I've messaged the support staff, been transferred to different people, and even been escalated to their email department. They were all either too lazy to look into it, or are just very poorly trained people. they literally copy and pasted incorrect answers from an SOP. Still not fixed.

Use DoorDash instead. With Instacart, you'll spend three hours waiting for an order that gets dropped three times and is then delivered to the wrong house. Remove "will keep your items temperature-controlled" from the tracking info. 100% of the time, drivers pull everyone's items out of a loose, mixed pile in their trunk. We shouldn't expect anything different, as Instacart is just another "gig economy" job that allows businesses to cash in bigtime via slave labor. But that's America.

Years ago I used Instacart. What I remember most is, aside from receiving my orders as expected, is in about 1 out of every 3 or 4 deliveries the driver couldn't understand my directions because of a language barrier. Basic English should have been enough, but I suspect they assumed maps would suffice. I was living in a motorhome parked across a school, or sometimes a house, with a note describing my vehicle. All too often I had to hunt around to see where my bags were left abandoned.

Your GPS app is sending shoppers the wrong way! I have already reported this but nothing has been done on instacart's end!

Haven't been able to use it due to waiting for account verification. They said 2 hrs and it's been 2 days. If they stated it would take longer than I would understand but I have had no chance to actually try the app.

terrible. half the items my brother ordered never showed up. I even asked if everything was here and and the driver (Lewis) said yes. Then when we tried to contact him he didn't respond back. We reported the missing items and hopefully can be refunded for them, but this is not going to be tolerated in the future.

To be honest at first I thought this was just for lazy people and or people who aren't fully capable of shopping on there own but now even as a young family we use it all the time and for reasons I dont think many people think of it's the fact I save so much money by only getting what I need and not all the impulse items everyone is guilty of I cant go into costco or anywhere without getting at least 50.00 dollars of extra junk that wasn't on the list so that alone makes this a must use thanks

I don't know if it's just because men can't shop or if this app is horrendous, bec if there's one thing I need that I'm missing for dinner and I didn't realize, I try to order that item and put a few more things in to make it a bigger order, they don't get the one thing I need. they don't message to ask about anything else. they just deliver what they want. I also order for my elderly father and the same thing happens all the time. I try to message the shoppers before they leave and nothing.

I'm done with aldis out here selling molded marinara sauce with know expiration date. Check the dates on your marinara sauce

I like using this service because they usually have shoppers that get the order right. if not, they try to resolve it quickly and I like the pay options.

Stop showing items for one location then reassign a driver to a reduced selection location that does not carry most of the items. This forces a second order and second set of fees collected by Instacart. This is questionable behaviour

This is complete and literal BS!! App shows I can only order from ONE restraunt,, Sonic,, BUT I have to pay $19.99 first off,, on top of a minimum of $35 PLUS Instacarts fees and taxes,,, all just to get a meal for MYSELF from Sonic that is 8 MILES AWAY!! And after paying for one single burger order,,,it will end up costing me roughly $80!! It's time for me to contact the Better Business Bureau!

Hello. I have placed my order today and it waa confirmed at 12:19 pm. Delievery time 1:17 - 3:04 pm. Then until 4 something, 5 sonething? Now, it isnt until 6 pm. The delivery have been pushed back several times. If you are low in staff I rather for the order to be canceled and refund the money back to me. I request to speak to an agent an no one is there to chat about this matter. Once I was going to cancel, they had a message saying that they will charge me $15 for canceling. Disappointed 😡

When I look up my past orders, it gives me a huge bulky list with the only way to share it is by taking screenshots. Please add a feature where we can copy our shoping list and history lists so we can paste it into our favorite AI app to help with tracking finance, food budget, recipes and meal plans based on what we bought.

pricing is grossly and covertly inflated. every price listed is a lie, a con, dont be fooled... you will pay 50 to 100% more than the actual cost. Instacart is trying to make more than the stores, the drivers and the customers. gross greed. Uninstalled permanently. Ruined.

Most of the shoppers are horrible and can do whatever they want with customer orders.

Placed an order just for it to be late from a bad shopper, told I had to pay a fee to cancel and then sent to an AI chat while completely dodging accountability. I don't care if it's in the terms or not, bad service is bad service and I'm tired of paying the price for it

several years of use with minimum issues. However, today when I went open I received a "can't locate the page". I received no help when I called several numbers. It won't be a problem finding an alternate service. I live in the greater Los Angles area.

Haven't been able to use the app in over a year, I try to login and it says I don't have a Google account on my phone. Which I obviously do.

I ordered two items from Costco Burnaby through Instacart for delivery to Dundarave. Costco’s prices were $13.65/kg and $14.99 per package, but Instacart charged $18.99 for each. The higher prices cost me about $60 extra, plus a $27.99 service fee and $16 in taxes. My $226 Costco purchase ended up costing about $122 more—roughly 53% extra. If you have money to waste, let Instacart spend it for you.

so is there a reason the app keeps changing my delivery address last second after I verify my address and then charges me $20 to cancel after they refuse to fix the glitch and update to the correct address? use doordash instead. they're scamming people. this is the third time this has happened to my account even after deleting all additional addresses.

I am new to Instacart and so I signed up for instacart + because I thought this is look like a good app where I could get my groceries delivered. MAN.. was i wrong. I picked deliver between 10am and 12pm, cause I knew I was going to home. instead i found out day of delivery it won't come till 11:50am to 12:30pm. I don't really like food being left at my front door for hours, come sometime i order meat and milk and it can go bad sitting there. So I try to talk to customers service nope AI 😞

I'm paying double the amount than if I just drove to the store. I thought the point was to be convenient yet affordable? finally threw in the towel and deleted the app. TO EXPENSIVE!

signed up. first order they offered 8gb ram 256gb storage A11+ tablet. When order arrived the item was in fact a lower grade 6gb Ram 128gb storage model. that was strike one. when I contacted them I was told I would have to return the item myself at my expense despite the fact that they misrepresented the item .strike 2. when I asked to be reimbursed the 20$ admin fee they said it was not going to happen..strike 3.. save yourself the hassle if dealing with these middlemen. I am opting out

I put in an order with 3 items to a store mainly because the app showed that a store had the first item I searched for, which was the item I really needed. It turned out that the store did not actually have that item, but I got the other two items I added just to complete the order, so the whole thing was a complete waste of time and money

im done with these dilivery apps. their drivers can't pay attention and keep delivering to the wrong place. its not hars. my building has the number IN BIG BOLD LETTERS ON THE BUILDING AND MAIL BOXES! on top of that i reiterate my unit, its exact location(its just a duplex) and that fact that my car is parked right beaide my unit and they still keep getting it wrong and these apps do nothing about it.

I cannot have orders delivered without paying a $2 long distance fee to get from a store in another town when there is a store 12 mi from me. For the past 5 years My orders have always come from the store closest to me with no long distance fee until my last order. I did contact Aldi and they confirmed that the store closest to me still offers deliveries but your website insist on having my orders come from the next town over and charge a fee.

groceries arrive covered nicotine and nobody cares. this is a health issue. you have gluten free labeling but cant guarantee my food will get here without smelling like an airport smokers lounge.

It used to be a good app to order food and groceries, lately it has been sloppy. Items show up damaged and food orders always seem to have issues, not a fan.

I was incredibly screwed over by Insta Cart!!!! delivered a partial order, then they couldn't find my order, then it was my fault, then there was an error in their system that they were working on, then my account got locked and I had to verifying my identity to them! Once it was all cleared up, my order had been cancelled! Don't go anywhere NEAR INSTA CART!!!

Very SEVERELY DISSATISFIED. Order was scheduled for 8:50-9:50 for delivery. Get a message that it's delayed. Then I get a message that my drop off is delayed until tomorrow. Y'all ought to at least offer a discount, cause you not having drivers is NOT MY FAULT. After I get this order TOMORROW, INSTEAD OF SCHEDULED TONIGHT, I WILL NOT USE INSTACART AGAIN.THAT IS WAY BELOW A 1 STAR RATING FOR INSTACART

algorithm is terrible regarding refunds. most shoppers don't message back or at all... the ones that do message are the best shoppers on the app.

Since the latest update, there is now no way to add something I forgot to an existing order. ??? This is only rating the app, not the service. The app rarely works. I usually end up sitting at my computer during shopping because I don't get the chat notifications on the app. Frustrating for me and the shopper. This is a $multi-billion company. Surely they should be able to create a better app. It's worse since the last update. And, it doesn't look at all like the screen shots you show here.

Instacart overloads their shoppers with too many orders at once. My cold and frozen items were warm by the time I received it. The shopper was shopping my order over an hour and then it took nearly an hour to deliver. Crazy. I'm canceling the membership because of this.

When I try to place an order.It says the bank won't allow my card to pay the amount I called my bank.The debit card is good.It's active and it's not blocked.So what is the problem

I wouldn't recommend Instacart if you live in a rural area. The app showed the wrong town for my address, and I couldn't change it no matter how many times I tried. My driver couldn't find my home, ignored my directions, and kept going the wrong way even after I told him he was lost. The order took three hours. I had to text him a Google Maps link outside the app before he found me. He was also rude about the address problem, which I had been trying to fix. I reported it to support.

I was a loyal customer without problems for yrs, but they'll hire anyone lately. the new shoppers always cut corners & won't communicate, & 1 driver even gave me the middle finger, but when I reported it they said theyre blocked from my account but didnt say they were fired. I tried again, but next driver paid for everything & checked out but didn't deliver. "customer service" said they "insist" I order again, but how can I if they took my money, wouldn't give credits to buy anyth new!?? FRAUD!

orders are consistently delayed for hours after they say they will arrive. when you ask about Ai will tell you they have up to 24 hrs to deliver even if you paid extra for priority delivery. ordered a primatene mist inhaler for asthma which they originally said was supposed to be here by 10:30am. it's now 12pm and their estimated time is now 1-1:30 and they still have not assigned a shopper. I guess ill have to Uber to get it.

Getting worse! The app is great, but the shoppers can't find item's anymore, bad replacements, slow service. Just now our shopper said I had issue with payment when it's actually he had low funds on his card. Now our cold items are warm.

Worst app ever for shopping. I ordered one item through the app, did the payment, then shopper went to the store and purchased another item that I didn't order and make another payment for that wrong item, and delivered the wrong item. Total amount dedicated from my card was around $88 doller in after complaining they gave a refund in instacart $72!!! Disgusting...

They upcharge every single item you buy vs actual store pricing. COMPARE TO STORE'S online sites if you need validation. You don't save any money using this app. If delivery is offered from local store, use that option. they also lie about expedited delivery and then don't refund you.

Instacart keeps finding new ways to gouge their customers. They charged a $100 subscription to my credit card, and to my daughter's, without our authorization! They started charging, on top of their markup, a $8 delivery fee, in addition to the subscription fee, and the service fee, and the taxes. And then they added, without notice, another $10 'long distance' fee, plus tax.... They also charged me $1.35, plus tax, for each $0.33 bag! They also mark up item prices while claiming they don't.

And then YOU, corporate gremlin, crept out of the shadows with a $3.99 'service fee' that was NEVER DISCLOSED, plus a bottle deposit, plus a bag fee, and turned it into $16.19. Don't use. I ordered one thing and they secretly signed me up for $107.32 recurring monthly bill that I had to dispute with my bank.

My driver delivered my groceries to the wrong address. Despite proof of their mistake in the pictures, Instacart refused to refund, redeliver, or credit to compensate. Now, I am $100 out (my only food money), and I'm without food until my next paycheck. After talking to customer service, it became obvious that they're based in India, they clearly can't speak English or at least can't speak it well, and They couldn't understand 50% of what I was saying. I guess I'll be eating grass for a week.

The customer service was terrible. The app is difficult to navigate. I didn't feel like instacart did a good job at resolving issues. For all that trouble and cost it actually becomes more inconvenient to not shop in person. Also, I feel like door dash is better.

shoppers have to much discretion replacing items that are not available, they will always make the decision to make it more expensive than I asked for, then texting me after after checking out, very hard to keep my budget in check.

Instacart left me with a house full of sick babies and no groceries. The app totally ignores store closing hours & shopper availability; twice this week I paid for ASAP delivery and didnt get the order until 1 or 2 days later. The first order that never showed was Kitten formula for my fosters, which forced me to give them cow milk, which made them sick. I can't leave sick babies so I ordered groceries today and they also never showed up. I called them for help and they hung up on me. 0/5 stars.

I did not get the car treats, but really a wonderful job all away around. Megan is very courteous and kind!!!

btw, the app lies about the delivery window, and when you ask what they'll do for the almost 300 dollars if melted frozen goods, they will lie about giving you credit and deny you in an email.

Upcharges. Not accredited by BBB. Fail to make things right when they make mistakes. Difficult to get to an agent capable of doing anything beyond wasting your time. Insane fees! I have a yearly subscription, but that's only for free delivery and zero fees on "qualifying orders". A $35 restaurant purchase has $22 in fees?! Absolutely insane to charge so much. Just be honest. Dont jerk me around with hidden costs. In the past 3 orders from different places they have charged me full amounts. Nothing qualifies as covered under the membership anymore. It used to be that my favorite places were covered. Now they're not. Cancelling my membership and uninstalling.

The whole reason for my order was so I could have a case of 24 waters delivered. Driver said superstore was out of water so he did not deliver it. I placed a grocery order and there was a substitution for an item. the new item was mispriced by $96. When I contacted Instacart, they said a credit was on the way to my account, but it never arrived. I followed up with customer support, and they claimed there were no orders associated with my account and closed the conversation. Be very careful when allowing for substitutions on grocery orders. Won't be using this platform again as there are many better alternatives.

I dont suggest using this unless you like being lied to about the price of the items online, the amount and most delivery drivers dont even bother to reach out they just put whatever bs they feel like in your cart. absolute waste of time and money, really nice to come home after a 12 hour shift and come out of pocket 30 extra dollars because of zero communication.
