While the app is an effective ordering tool with decent rewards integration, it lacks a major feature that the majority of Android apps support: A dark theme, or the option for its color scheme to align with your device's system settings. It also does not play well with the Developer Tool "Force Dark Mode," leaving those with low vision (such as myself) struggling to navigate through the app. Given how broadly popular dark modes are, I'd like this very simple feature implemented.

Not sure if the app sends the wrong order or they just don't care to read anything. Ordered pi to beans received black beans, queso blanco was queso burnt, ordered pollo asado and received regular chicken.

had to wait 2 minutes while the dr guy was making other orders eve n though mine was sitting right there. bowl was put in sideways so left side was facing down. it leaked ripping the bag and leaked all over car seat.

Hands down, this is the worse Chipotle I've ever been to. When I order a extra side of chicken its never full, they always skimp on the protein, the food is never warm. When picking up my recent order no one spoke a word or acknowledged I was even there, I asked for my order and was handed it with out one word spoke to me by anyone. This place sucks!

Only purpose of the app is to pay ahead. Yet it's the only pick up/delivery app that 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 struggles to process anything. Tf you mean "can still pay in person". Uber/Ritual/Doordash can handle it. Why do you exist otherwise. I look online to see it's a common bug past 5 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. Only get it for my work break to pick up but ig can stop eating chipotle entirely.

I love their food! certain locations are better than others. if you have a bad experience at one, don't let it deter you from going to a different location. their burritos are awesome 🤟 their queso dip is great too!

they got my order wrong and I wanted a refund because I was not going to eat it. if you speak to their bot rep and ask for a refund, it closes the conversation. don't use this app.

so happy I can have delivery to my husband at work and I finally can have chipotle for supper.

the price of your entree goes up by around ~$4 (in addition to delivery fees) if you order delivery instead of pickup.

Constant lag, things not loading, having to process payment multiple times, ai bot is useless. Samsung s 22+ this is not a phone performance issue

Edit 10/29/26 - 6 years later, app hasn't improved. As a matter of fact, they removed the customer service chat. Decent app, but stores mess up the order big time. Sometimes too much of an ingredient, most times they sprinkle the ingredients ever so lightly as if they've run out of food in the store.

The worst app. Updates every 30 days, won't save your password and says "Sorry, something went wrong" everytime you try to change your password.

Had to rescind myself code after code after code and until it completely closed the store that I was getting from so now, I can't get dinner and for some reason, the app like acts like it's not connected to the store that acts like it's not connected to the f****** restaurant. What that acts like? It's not connected to the actual website, so work on that real fast cause I am p*****

The Chiptole app does not work properly. There is always a problem with the payment or placing the order or the pick-up time. It simply does not work.

For whatever reason, it does not accept debit cards.

My daughter and I went to the Chipotle restaurant on Airline Rd in Arlington TN every time we go there the restaurant is dirty. The employees do not clean as they go so the tables, cutting board always filthy and nasty. All of the pans which contain the food don't get changed out, they just add new food to the dirty pans. My daughter purchased a burrito, the marker they use to make the food went right though on to the food, the guacamole i paid for was the avocado was hard and full of big piece

Good overall. Issues with reward QR codes sticking around after having already been used and the credit card information screen blanking out every time I switch to a password manager to find my credit card information.

Defaulted to order in another city and wouldn't let me cancel even though I recognized the error right away. Chat support is useless.

They were short staffed but the Manager Isiah was very helpful and answered all my questions. Ive had a hard day and it was pleasant that he was so helpful and courteous... it made my experience much nicer!

Great place for quick food. sometimes ride and beans are not at temperature as it should be if its in hot water pan.

I would love to give more stars to this app, unfortunately it has recently been incredibly glitchy and struggles to load ANYTHING. I am not sure what has gone wrong on the back end, but it needs some serious work. Can't wait to be given a reason to improve my rating

Chipotle's app is non sense, it doesn't allow more than 2 times and more than 4 times a month manual submission of rewards. the location where I go, staff there don't know how to scan. Everytime I go there and scan, I never receive points. So I resorted to submitting manually, but nope, the app doesn't allow it. I eat like 20 times a month, what to do!

Ordering was easy. Getting to the rewards was easy as well.

Highly irked to pull up to Chipotle and there is a sign to have to order through the app and then come to drive thru when it's ready. Because I didn't have the app! So the time I spent downloading app, signing up, and then ordering...... I could have been at home eating, if i went inside to get it! I just wanted to eat before work. 🤦🏾‍♀️

buggy and unintuitive Loses a star for being even more buggy. Fails to place order and says I can pay in restaurant when I cannot. Says the nearest location a mile away is too far. They recently FINALLY allow you to place a phone order but it's with a bot and the bot sucks. Chipotle really going downhill. The app works surprisingly well, for me, payment is just an issue all across a lot of restaurant apps sometimes, though. Very tasty and well-seasoned food, but rather costly, though, definitely worth the splurge sometimes

Super annoying when assembled your order and can't places it, because now you have to go back out of the order to add card on file. My wife divorced me because of this time delay. She so hungry she couldn't wait till I figure chipotle app. Please, fix your app, because it ruined my marriage.

I wanted extra protein and it only allows you to choose half of each or double of one protein. I would have preferred 1 option of prorein add extra of another protein.

I use Chipotle's app all of the time. My biggest complaint is when I have a free item, such as chips or guac, it never will be added to my order, even though I push the button to add it.

Guac and Queso cost too much. Also its difficult to use any rewards.

Tracking you when the app is closed. No good, not you business, you are selling data and affecting my phone. Once the order is placed, as it's been paid for, customer location is not your business.

this is a terrible at because I tried to donate money to a fundraiser for my child's school and there was no where to put the promotional code.

The latest version is terrible. Takes several minutes to navigate through menus, check out charged me 3 minutes before the page loaded to tell me my order number and pick up time. I confirmed this is app specific and not an internet connection issue before posting this.

I had over 3200 points that just disappeared??? No phone number to call to complain. The people in the stores either don't know or don't care. I've used this app since 2022 and didn't have problems. But losing the equivalent of 2 free entrees is VERY disappointing. I no longer use the app. I put it on my daughter's account which seems fine so far.

The app allows you to order at locations that are extremely far from your current location with not even as much as a heads up. This happened multiple times.

They have really good choices. I love their guacamole. Best to go into the store to order especially during the day. I have had trouble with the app and the manager helped me with my order. Its rare for anyone at the store to help with their apps.

I cant get into my account, I have been getting incorrect password. I have tried updating my password but it is not accepting the new password either. I dont know how to contact support to figure this out, the ai chat bots are unhelpful and theres no actual contact info on their website.

Terrible headache to deal with. They use AI to deter people from calling the store if they got an issue! I placed an order, the app didn't update to my current location and my order was placed in another state. all other apps would have checked in and asked if I was sure and would have suggested a closer location. Not the case with Chipotle. I had to call multiple times in order to speak with the manager. The AI kept hanging up, every time. its just absurd. Very terrible experience today!!
