almost everytime I order on this app the delivery has extra stops or is delayed, doordash rarely does this and is easier to use as you don't have to add up the tip and price yourself unlike when using this app

service fees are a total rip off. highly recommend any other services. I won a free 20 dollar gift card and it cost me $13 for a $7 dollar coffee. what ever you do don't tip. shut this down.

review updated for 2026. Uber Eats has gone completely downhill. If there's ever a problem with your order the automated AI customer service is awful and when you do reach a human you have to fight for a resolution. Orders are consistently late. Their time estimates are atrocious. And the new refund policy for delayed orders is only a partial refund. Lame.

definitely not great. bunch of hidden fees that you don't even see. when you place an order you just get charged at the end and on top of that I have stores way closer to me but they make other people drive half an hour instead of 5 minutes down the street. this is stupid

Bad customer service. They try to blame the people who are actually working, like couriers and restaurants, but it's crystal clear that the problem is poor management and poor problem-solving by the app itself. The bad review is on you, not on the courier.

Door dash is cheaper and has better customer service BTW. The app picked a whataburger that was 36 minutes away instead of the one 3 minutes away, so I canceled it literally within 10 seconds. Uber kept all the money for the whole order and customer service said its because they started preparing my order already... within less than 10 seconds of me hitting the button. then they switched it to "they already accepted the order"... well all restaurants are set up to automatically accepts orders.

Uber eats are so good

When a restaurant declines your order, the system thinks they've accepted, it shows they're preparing the order. After 2.5 hours,over 10 drivers attempted to pickup my order but were told there was no order (& restaurant couldn't cancel in the system since they never accepted in the first place). In the end you are stuck, you're charged for something that didn't arrive and you waited 3 hours. uber eat Chat was useless too

Can't access my old account because it wants me to verify with a credit card that doesn't exist any more. There's no way around this right now. Can't create a new account because my phone number is connected to the old account. Way to make an app that's completely no functional. Also, anyone could steal my card and verify, that's the whole point of having a password. Just let me use my password.

Ordered food and had missing items. After going thru the help chat the Ai bot said the items I ordered missing is not eligible for a refund. What kind of BS is that? I paid for something I should get the item and if not then I am entitefor a refund.

some drivers receive to many orders at once. and then it takes a lot longer for your meal to arrive. which ends up being cold if the driver never put in the correct insulation bag. trying to get a refund for poorly packed and missing items isn't very easy. I'm still waiting on a refund.

Deals have gone down hill. Monday Fruit and Veg 50% deal was awesome at one point. Then, limitation of two items per order was introduced. After that - better quality items were removed and now another limitation - 1 item per deal. Please, consider families that consist of more than 3 people.

Unfair system and zero respect for loyal members. My food arrived completely smashed and the juice was leaking everywhere through a punctured lid. Even after sending clear pictures showing the damaged items and the soaked bag, their support closed the ticket saying "no restaurant error or significant damage found". Don't waste your money on Uber One or this app; their customer care is automated and completely ignores facts. Moving to DoorDash!

Horrible horrible service. The drivers pick up orders and the cancel without delivery.. Uber eats will not even refund you after their driver has canceled whole holding your order hostage. Terrible.

Prices are too inflated for the economy we are leaving under. Items that usually come as a package are separated on the app to make them costlier. And other cheaper options aren't added on the menu to force us to buy costlier options. Making money or breaking even is one thing, but literally doubling the cost of a standard meal is just plain capitalist.

The fees are absolutely insane even for a food delivery app. Grubhub and Doordash are both significantly cheaper. UE charges you like 4 times for delivery on every order. Your food will be $15 then the final cost is $35-40 before tip. I'm not even exaggerating. Delivery fees that get up to $15+, and thats before they add another arbitrary 10-15% "service fee" on top, and beg you to tip. Even with premium you still get charged made up vauge fees. Nowhere NEAR being worth the price and shady.

in Quebec the fees are very expensive and the delivery time is never less than 40min even for a restaurant that's 5min away. Nowhere else have I used this app that was sooo frustrating and expensive. Allowing a driver to take 3 or 4 other stops is an obvious disregard for the clients placing an order.

If you pay attention to when you're looking at your orders , like I have just now been ordering from Bado pizza, that the deal is two for one and I had two cakes also the price for the two cakes 28 the price for the two pizzas 34 which equals 62 , not $84 like it shows in the picture that I screenshot it but doesn't allow me to post a picture , then shows minus $22 for a pizza well their math does not compute

It's good when it works. My delivery driver canceled, they can't find another one and I have to wait over an hour before I can cancel for free, even though my food is already cold. Makes absolutely no sense.

I wish the driver's would take a picture of the food drop off to prove that they dropped of our food at the correct house. Or at least have the drivers call us when they are dropping off our food. So far for my last 2 orders, the app says food is delivered but there's nothing at the door. so either they delivered it to the wrong house or they stole our food. Never had this issue ever with doordash. Only switched over because delivery price is cheaper, but I can see why now it's cheaper. Terrible

drivers take forever, I had 3 cancel on me only to be charged the store order as a cancellation fee, no refund you'll wait ages for supper instead being greeted with an unintelligent AI. you're better off using doordash or getting food yourself like the good ol days

I ordered food when Sonic was open, nobody got my order, then someone did go to Sonic but said it was closed, and I had to cancel the order. Wait 3 to 5 business days for my only back. Uber eats doesn't give credit the way door dash does, I regret not trying door dash first. I have been working, no food, just needed something to eat with the only money I had. I will not use Uber eats again.

why do you guys always put my order on a stack order? its not fair that I have to pay your expensive delivery fee and my food gets put on a stack order so that the driver can go pick up someone's else's food. I work night shifts and order just before midnight. how is that fair? I want my money back. every single night I order food for my lunch break at work you put my order with someone's else's order and my food gets delivered cold while the other persons food is delivered fresh. DO BETTER, let us choose the driver if they are just sitting around because my time changed 2x and he's still in the same spot id like the option to warn them the driver is being changed and if they still don't move I want the fee to be waved there is taxes on top of eveyhting just to have someone sit in a parking lot and took my order

Shady app. Burger King had a promo buy one whopper meal get one free. Good deal right? So I placed the order and my order was cancelled. The reason why was because one item I ordered is out of stock so I call burger King and they tell me nothing I ordered was out of stock and try again. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Scam ripoff app. uninstalled this.

The membership said free delivery but I couldn't find a restaurant in my area that was free delivery

1. Terrible profile system. Why will you show my corp credit card to my personal profile? Now I have to explain to my boss why I use a company credit card for personal stuff... 2. Very wrong ETA just to trick you to order it. Before I ordered, it show ETA 20 minutes. But I end up waiting for 1hour+. With this price and waiting time, I could just drive there myself and come back. 3. Receipt doesn't show up for a day.

worst app on earth - they offer uber one but then double the prices on every item. It is insane. I know the prices of a local restaurant, they are literally listed at double the actual amount on the app; this is on top of delivery and service fees supposedly reduced because of the uber one. Criminals.

Canceled my order with no explanation. I ordered the exact same thing shortly after and it was fine. Once the order was confirmed the driver had a hard time logging in a confirming the drop off. He mentioned he needed to do it.

Multiple times I have received my food cold because it takes too long to match a courier to my order. Its seems to happen when the express delivery option isn't chosen. Also, you won't be able to cancel without paying for the whole meal, even though it's taking too long on their end. Definitely recommend trying other delivery services

read this before installing this app: according to the terms of service, Uber eats is not legally obligated to provide your food. you can look in there yourself. This company is legitimately a scam. I recommend doing serious research before contributing to a company not even obligated to provide you service. this should not be legal.

Sometimes good, sometimes horrible. Drivers are always great. But, you order a pizza that says delivered in 30, and then it's delayed to 2 hours. Order some wine with priority payment, and it states 15 minutes - - arrives 45 minutes later. The worst part is the AI lying saying an order is ready and awaiting collection, but the app states it's still being prepared. I'll be trying out competition, as Uber Eats has been slipping horribly the past year. Good if you don't mind being gaslit by AI.

The convenience is great! One big complaint I have is it occasionally bugs out when I try to rate the order and tip the driver, preventing me from giving me a tip. This is very frustrating.

I have been a longtime user and have had my fair share of mistakes, but I've discontinued my membership with the service because of very poor customer service. I placed an order and got called by the delivery driver that the business did not have anything that I had ordered. I understand that inventory isn't always there, but how can you charge the customer for the driver cancelation? This company's customer service is atrocious and will let others know as well!

the amount of time that it takes for drivers to deliver "group orders" is genuinely falling into food safety dangers. it took my order to an hour to be dropped off after being picked up because of these drivers having other order that ends up being miles away. the drivers attitudes are also something that needs to be addressed. horrible customer service and horrible drivers.

Terrible customer service, refunds not given when I have received the incorrect items, not to mention the extreme hike in prices and the refusal of receipts because the delivery drivers have been instructed not to give receipts to the customer because it shows the difference of in store price to app price.

Uber Eats abuses their drivers and literally steals their money through unpaid gas compensation when Uber sends drivers to closed locations. Support break laws all the time and flat out lie to drivers and defraud them. Uber hires the cheapest support they can find which makes it awful to be an Uber driver. If it wasnt for their criminal support reps, then it wouldn't be a that bad. They abuse their most professional drivers till they quit so only the worst stay. Uber gets away with LABOUR THEFT.

Horrible customer service, absolutely horrible. I received horrendous food and proceeded to complain. The human representatives provided no help whatsoever. I complained a couple of times and was rebuffed with automated responses and redirected to the "relevant departments" and never had a peep from them again. You'd be better off with the other delivery apps in kenya. Would not order from them again.

Customer service is terrible. They discontinued their customer service number and now want you to use their AI in-chat customer support. It is absolutely useless. They have made it really difficult to cancel an order. Horrible customer service for the restaurant and the customer.

I ordered food on this app. Driver was taking way too long, so I called the restaurant and told them I was going to cancel and get it myself. I canceled with Uber and they charged me a cancelation fee of $41.42. They said it was to pay the restaurant. No problem. The restaurant tells me Uber canceled the transaction on their end as well, and I had to pay. No problem. Contact Uber to try and get my cancelation fee refunded. I get told there's nothing they can do. Consumer beware.

Probably one of the worst service apps going. Support are basically bots, feed you copied and pasted responses, doesn't actually rectify your issue, they just say they'll take your feedback. 2 hours after waiting for an order, it got cancelled by the driver for 'order accuracy issues' support said it was 'wrong packaging'. Basically my driver got a free dinner, support couldn't care less. Moneys now pending out my account, for a service I didn't receive. Ended chat, no resolution. 0/5

Bumped up one star because they listened to a request from customers to opt-out of alcohol product ads. However, there is still the issue of the app refreshing itself randomly if one takes a while to put an order through; by the time the checkout button is pushed, the app flashes all the way back to the UE home screen. Also, we need an option to opt-out of notifications of drivers sending thanks for a tip. It's distracting and I sincerely don't care so much that I have to be notified of it.

Terrible experience. Based on my interactions, I felt a strong sense of discrimination and bias. Their system sent promos that failed to work, and when I reached out, agent Yasjeet hostilely closed the live chat on me 3 times today just for raising concerns and asking for a supervisor. I’ve tried to resolve this via multiple support channels, but it feels like unfair treatment. I’m walking away from my remaining $10 balance because I refuse to support this platform. Totally unprofessional.

Need to be faster delivery

if there are not enough delivery drivers and the order will be too late to be consumed, consider offering a discount or a voucher or something but not to cancel the order and keep the charge.

Most absolutely useless and disgusting app on my phone. Been pissing me off for an hour trying to order my food. How is my card declining if my account has enough money and i have verified everything. On top of that delivery times are piss poor. Do better. Much better.

This app lets you order from restaurants that are closed, then cancels your order an hour later. *Update*. Still abhorrent customer service. The chat reps are designed to keep you on the phone for at least an hour so that you can't any receive credit for the order they screwed up. I literally just had Rhona do that to me and then tell me she couldn't help me because the 1-hour window closed. That's how long I was chatting. trying to get resolution. Always call, never chat. CANCELLED membership.

Do yourself a favor and scroll through last 50-100 reviews before downloading. Almost all of them are 1-star and it's for a reason. I could go on and on about delivery time not being even close to correct ever, so called 'update request' never having any effect, app lacking basic and obvious functionalities, but you can see that in other reviews. I'll only add that so called 'customer support' is bunch of info where to click, and not any support. Today was my last use of this app.

Wait times are getting ridiculous, not uncommon to have them take four times the length that is originally stated. For instance it can take well over an hour or an hour and a half to get something from a store a mile away and the time frame will say 10 to 20 minutes. Support basically does nothing. they will have someone pick up the order drive past where I live go drop off three other orders somewhere on the other side of town and then come all the way back when they could have just stopped by.

Uber Eats takes zero responsibility for it's awful business model. I ordered 4 pizzas 3 were build your own and all 3 were wrong. I called the pizza place and they said they would refund it but because I ordered through Uber eats they need to refund it. I submitted the request and it said I had to wait 48 hours for it to be reviewed. I tried live chatting and they wanted me to submit everything all over again. I'm back to waiting 48 hours. Why do I have chores to do when they are at fault?

I've had bad experiences with deliveries, the way food is prepared, and now I can't even get a refund for my orders when they are cooked wrong or prepared wrong. Now they have an AI basically telling you that if you have issues with the way your order was prepared leave a review and that's it. i don't know why anyone would ever use this app unless they don't care about the quality of their food on arrival, because support won't help you.

Food always shows up cold since they have their drivers do at least 2-3 orders at once. By the time they're on the way to you, they show up even further away on the map than your restaurant was. If you want warm food, you have to pay a "priority fee".
