i cannot get this app to open. i use it all the time but now it wont open. it will only go as far as the main logo screen with a spinning wheel at the bottom. no errors. it never times out it just wont do diddly. ive tried to clear cache and data. ive tried uninstalling. ive tried with vpn and without vpn. ive tried cellular and wifi signals and nothing had made any difference. help

I really don't like the updated version of this app. The previous version was much better and easier to use. Please bring back the old version or improve the new update.

I miss Pluto's "on demand" feature, which allowed me to binge-watch favorite old series from the first season and episode to that show's last season and episode. Plus, you've made the opening menu screens more difficult/confusing to muddle through. Not helpful in the least (which is why I uninstalled it on my laptop).

Please don't make me update! It"s working perfectly well on this Android but keeps nagging me to update. The Windows versions (I use 7 and 10) have been totally ruined by the latest "upgrades", i can no longer pin it to the corner of the screen, cannot double-click for full screen any more, can't easily scroll up and down between categories and the condescending "optimising your video playback experience" is a lie as it's now gone all flakey, the cookies message won"t go away and 'mute" moved??

This update is a lot slower. It used to run faster, and you used to be able to change the channel whenever you had the app minimized.

why did you remove the Dark Shadows channel? I grew up watching this show and I love the series. I was binge-watching this show when all of a sudden I got a notice saying the show is no longer streamlined. I am very disappointed about this. Please bring the series back, there are those of us who enjoyed watching the episodes. Please bring it back!!

Used to be a great app. The latest update has made it into an incredible power hog I can stream 8 hours of youTube but I can't even go 2 hours on Pluto without my device powering off... They 've also made it incredibly difficult to select new or different options, their AI is stuck in your history.

I have tried to create an account and everytime I try to sign up it gives me an error boh on mobile phone and laptop. I have never had this issue with any other apps or streaming.

Great I now have a plethora of movies, TV shows, and live TV to watch - just too many ads.

I really like the new interface, but I barely found out that now we are only allowed a SMALL AMOUNT of 🤍 channels!!! October 29th app update is still terrible. Hard to navigate through stuff and now some on demand wont lode. Update is garbage. layout is bad, can't use up and down to change channels, and my favorites are not in the order I had them.

I'm 12 and a half minutes into an episode of red dwarf, and there's been 19 frigging commercials! never messing with this trash app again. TOTAL = 38 COMMERCIALS AND ONLY 27 MINUTES OF SHOW

your new update makes my phone virtually unusable I can't tell you how much the screen flips from vertical to horizontal so easily. you get a call while watching try and answer it because you can't because your phone screen is flipping back and forth so rapidly. this is just the tip of the iceberg on the new update problems.

I absolutely love the fact that I can watch shows that I have not been able to watch in years because I don't have a TV. like the show... "Ghosts". I love the wide range of shows it's fantastic. my only beef is the fact that every time it goes from one episode to another it just keeps doing the roundy roundy thing! By that I mean it's always trying to download the next episode & sometimes it takes almost 2 minutes before the episode will click in. PLEASE do something about that. Please!

terrible very frustrating

this recent Android TV update is horrific! need chamber guide design was unnecessary and now slow and buggy. frequent problems loading channel streams, including false claims of No Internet and frequent crashes to Android home screen. clearing cache, etc - doesn't even improve the issue although that would NOT be a fix if it did. you literally broke a fully functional app. good job.

terrible ,keeps freezing and then back tracks on movie everytime After the ads, if you fast flowerd it it will freeze than goes back again a 1/2 hour so can't finish the what your watching.

I use this app frequently in the past without any problems but for more than a month now the app just shows the loading circle and nothing else is happening. the only way I can still watch movies is by using a browser and going to the internet site to watch it. What is the use of an app that doesn't work.

great live stream app. the only complaint is when I use your Chromecast icon to cast your app , when it's on my TV as cast, the actual live video stream isn't syncing with the audio. the speaking voice is behind the audio. I use a Sony Bravia smart TV.

Great free TV with alot of different choices including several focused channels on individual subject matter with top notch movies to boot!!!!💕 No need for cable subscription, no added equipment necessary, and actually...the best thing since sliced bread!!! 😁🍞(and Ladies, novices on "hooking things up" YOU CAN GET IT WORKING EASILY!! The ads are repetitive and annoying after a while I can recite them by heart. okay we get it already maybe change them up like once a month.

Deleted the app half way through the first 60 minute show. Great selection of shows but back to back 2 1/2 minute ads within 5 minutes is ridiculous. The perfect way to ruin a could have been great app.

The Rocky + CREED keeps DISAPPEARING from the live tv lineup this is getting frustrating especially when I'm watching the movie & it gets cut off. great and convenient for free streaming but ads pop up TWICE as loud as whatever your watching and in the middle of intense or important scenes (so horrible add timing). Even more so of a problem, get half way through a series or a movie set and all of a sudden it's Spanish and no English option. Hellraiser for great example 1&2 English 3-8 Spanish 9&10 English again and no 2022 reboot. like what in the world is going on here

everytime I try to open the Pluto App on my Vizio TV it will not open. I've tried several times and it just keeps saying "ooops something went wrong, please restart the app"

I appreciate there are some options with audio description. However, there is no clear filter or way to identify those items with audio description, and it is not a good user experience to open both the app and the website. Please integrate that clear filtering for individuals with visual disabilities or who rely on screen readers, and I will gladly update my review.

they need to update their shows every month and keep the good anime and cartoons like SpongeBob also I would like to see more variety with the cartoons, tv shows and movies they have here so far 3 stars because they keep removing the shows I wanna watch then adding them back just to remove them again which is very annoying also I think that free apps should let you watch free for one hour every day and they don't play the popular anime and it needs a Christian genre too

unfortunately the app stopped working as of October of 2026 we uninstalled it, reinstalled it, rebooted our tv, until eventually we gave up but we do love some of the shows on this app can you please fix it? thank you!

The new update made this app WORSE. Ive been using this app for YEARS and now - I cant get anything to play with 5G networking; Happens everyday. It removes things from my favorites ALL THE TIME. This app has DOWN-graded with the new update, used to love this app, but now its so bugged out, I cant get on without getting upset.

Was a 5 star app. Newest update makes it unwatchable on firetv or Xbox. To change channels you have to go back to the menu each time?? Absolutely terrible. Unwatchable until you fix these issues. Great selection of free movies and show, easy to navigate. Unfortunately, I'm not longer able to add channels to my favorites list. The favorite button will only remove favorited channels, but will not allow me to re-add/favorite them or any new channels. I've tried both the TV app and the mobile app, but the favorite button doesn't work on either of them.

The new changes are absolutely TERRIBLE! My mother -in-law (she has Parkinson's) can no longer work the app! She was visibly upset by the fact that she can no longer work the app on her own! Your rating is going down by the day..you went from 4.2 to 4.0 in less than a week! There is nothing good in the ridiculous changes made in the last update! seems good so far to me sometime the movies will stop and the screen turns black just have to hit play again and the picture starts all over.But other then that it does pretty good for the most part!

Updating my review from 4 stars to 1. Pluto used to be great, but no longer. The new app is buggy, and I cannot add favorites on the app or Roku. Pluto is responding with canned responses and is not addressing the issue. Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives out there. Goodbye Pluto. It was great until you decided to commit media suicide like so many other companies that got too big and thought that fancy is more preferable than functional.

App "new update" is such a downgrade. You can't change the channel or mute the volume in screen anymore. And also, error are always occurring watching both the live channels and whats on demand. This app is in the 💩er now

The only good thing about Pluto TV is the variety of content, however with a limited number of episodes on each channel it's not long and you are watching reruns. Also the app still seems to be having trouble connecting to the server at times. Connection issues seem to be getting worse since 2024 lots of "Content is unavailable" and "Sorry this video is currently unavailable" messages. AGAIN maybe upgrade the servers from TI 99's to Atari 2600's; what the heck go all out to Apple ll plus.

This used to be a great app before the last update. now it seems to time out or stop working. After about an hour and gives an error message. this never happened before.

Totally rubbish I previously had the Pluto app on my phone now informed the app is now only available on amazon's play store so I went to the store and then informed me that it was discontinued. So now it's just disappeared WHY very confused.

They are LIARS. They claim less scrolling yet the update does the exact opposite. Much more scrolling is required due to this bad update of theirs. They scramble the order of your 'favorite' channels, and disabled the ability to change channels unless you use the guide. NOT User-friendly. Plus, they also increased the volume of commercials. They fail to realize that we use earbuds now. We no longer sit in the living room watching tv. They need to leave the 1900s and join the 21st century SHAME

Pluto has really gone downhill FAST!!! Bombarding viewers with annoying ads isn't going to get us to pay for ad free watching especially when the film selections can be found on other streaming services. I used to look forward to seeing what movies were added each month. I don't even bother anymore.

Pluto TV app was one of the most user friendly on the market. The UI and layout were perfect - easy to understand with good spacing. It felt welcoming. Nothing was wrong. The recent changes are horrific 🥴. Now the UI is overcrowded and disorganized. It feels overwhelming, jumbled, and claustrophobic. No longer smooth. So much so, that I had to uninstall.

recent update ruined this app. no longer possible to look at all movies or all tv. You have to check through each genre separately. they also removed the tv guide feature, so to see what's on next you have to click on each individual channel. Two major negative downgrades for no benefit to the user at all. It's as if someone said "let's make this less useful, how do we go about that".

Down to 2 stars for such a dumb reply. Someone has been fiddling again! Can no longer scroll the live TV guide to see what it's on next or later on the channels!! The only way to see it is to click on a show or movies info and see what is on for that one channel by scrolling down! A bit of common sense needed by the developers.

I used to be able to change channels simply by pressing the up or down button on my remote control. Now the only way to change channel is to go back to the Guide and select a new channel - how is this better?!? Please change it back!

Don't understand why you play Spanish ads. most non speaking English listen to sap which broadcast everything in Spanish. when you play a Spanish commercial you eliminate the English speaking audience. I don't get it.

Great variety of movies TV shows and live streaming TV. but it constantly glitches freezes up sometimes the show will freeze and then bring you back to another point in the show or fast forward it is literally the most unreliable app I have on my Android TV it has some of the best content but technically it's a total disaster and it can be very frustrating I hope they improve it but because the content is great

the experience of watching the movies are great, its great to have the entire Rocky Franchise and the Creed Trilogy and Godfather, the most pointless thing about this app is that you get 6 ads everytime you have ads, its annoying why not 3? or only 2?

Once again the app was working fine then for some unknown reason it no longer works. I updated the app, uninstalled it & reinstalled it, restarted my tablet & nothing.

If you can handle the commercials, which they have more than the average show does, Pluto TV has a lot of channels to offer for Free TV. I do love the favorites tab, as it makes it easy to surf through the channels I love instead of the entire lineup. But it's still a great app.

I tried to watch one episode of The Young and Restless and I can't get it

I used to have issues with this app. but I wrote a review and not long after the app was updated and the problems didn't occur anymore. very happy with this app.

Despite what an email from Pluto says, you talk to AI, not a human. It said scrambling the order of I Love Lucy episodes makes it more like real TV. Would you read a book with the chapters out of order?

Just watched a 48min TV show. There were SIX ad breaks, each break between 3-3.5min each. That's 20 minutes of ads for a 48min episode. I'd rather pay a streaming service for no ads.

Pluto TV has updated the app with a fresh new menu...they have good channels and a wide selection of movies... channel guide works perfect but the movie playback is a crash and burn.

When I'm playing a game on my phone a commercial for Pluto comes on. The problem is the commercial insists on canceling game play & play Pluto instead. Stop that! I have Pluto on my Roku TV & phone. If I wanted to watch Pluto instead of a money making game, I would.

Cannot sign into android app with correct password. I can sign in anywhere else using the email and password combo, but it wont work in the android app. Rotation is ultra touchy too for some reason; will keep rotating opposite of the way you turn it, you have to go back and forth a few times until its right. other than that, good app.

constantly freezing, picture always does a quick freeze through out whatever i watch. thought it was cable but it's not. Not worth the frustration 😕 even purchased a signal extender from my cable company, still happening. The freezing is gone, but now when I'm done watching a TV series episode (Odd Couple) it starts the entire series from the beginning again.

2.30 per ad break really that's a hard pass. that's the second and I'm still on the first episode.

30+ ads per episode. is it really worth watching? an hour long episode turns into an eternity. it's just not worth it. it's not worth your time. and it's a long time. seriously, can the customer support team really do anything about so many ads in a short period of time??? that is ridiculous. they can experience it themselves by going on to Pluto and randomly picking any TV show or movie to watch.
