Pre-booking is largely pointless as drivers cancel without any consideration. The app needs to commit to bookings or compensate for cancellation. Without that, it can't be trusted.

Beware that the price listed will double or triple if there is traffic. This is not a taxi meter vehicle service. Dont quote a price upfront when the charges double or triple. This happened to me twice on Uber. Lyft or Waymo doesnt do this!!

Drivers ignore your request for "normal" priced rides at £33 (found local cheaper in the end), then either the app cancels your request after waiting 30 minutes (don't do it if in hurry), or you lose your patience and cancel, only to try again and they want now £50. Still no taxi, so you waste more time waiting, lose patience and cancel just to find out that now if you request again they want up to £115!! Uber consumed all my battery, had to ask hospital reception - with child in cast boot!!

This app is absolutely disappointing! It charges way too much, and on top of that, it can't even track the drop location properly. The service is really poor. Not worth the money at all!

uber is very disappointing neither loyal nor authentic, they cheat thier regular customer, they show high price to regular customer, and the fair its shown while booking jump 20+ rupees after the ride, even driver before they come they put as arrived and collect the waiting charges. Best is to stop using this. in metro cities because of urgency people use but this uber is chose to cheat the regular customers.

very hard to alter trips once it starts. that makes finding prostitutes extremely difficult. everyone knows you have to dive loops to avoid the dudes larping in dresses.

It is a very Gandhi service, one has to wait for 1 hour for booking, no rider picks up the booking, I am troubled since last 1 hour, for bike and taxi, nothing, no one is receiving. Two people picked me up and then asked where I was going and then cancelled. This is a very bad service of Uber and attention should be paid to it.

Okay but not okay. Can you remove default selection from uber balance if payment method selected is cash? People are getting charged in cash as well as from balance due to this. Driver is not telling people during a prepaid trip, and asking for cash. Show prepaid trip while click on search. It shows cash but balance gets deducted from uber balance. Fix it to show uber balance. Not sure, why someone didn't fix it.

What's the point of paying the regular fare when the waiting time is practically the same? Wait & Save was $10.90. I waited 10 minutes to get matched with a driver, only to find out they were still 20 minutes away. I checked the regular fare at $13.33, but the pickup time was still 23 minutes! Why pay extra if there's barely any difference? Very disappointing experience.

Uber drivers asking extra amount, after Booking auto or car they call us and ask about how much money is showing for a ride and if they don't like price then they cancels the ride and here customers time is wasting. If extra amount not be given by customers some uber drivers doesn't like to drop at customers destination also. They argue with customer. it's a big scam guys , don't use uber app pls.

Unfair system and zero respect for loyal members. My food arrived completely smashed and the juice was leaking everywhere through a punctured lid. Even after sending clear pictures showing the damaged items and the soaked bag, their support closed the ticket saying "no restaurant error or significant damage found". Don't waste your money on Uber One or this app; their customer care is automated and completely ignores facts. Moving to DoorDash!

Their map needs updating for better routing. This happened to me twice now, on my way to work the drivers keep missing the first exit which is the fastest route and always takes the one after, and that one missed exit was enough to get me to work late. Clearly it is not a driver issue because they just follow their map.

we booked our first ride of Rs 64 as a discount price ...we booked the auto and waited for 15 min . Later the driver said that he will take 120 rs.I showed him all the trip details and the amount but then he stopped the rickshaw in the middle and started fighting with us and asked to get down of the auto in the middle where it was not possible to get another auto. We agreed because we had no other option. He said all the offers are fake and Uber fools people.

uber and the uber drivers together fleece the customer. the drivers decide whether to follow the uber app rates or their meter as per what's beneficial to them and in spite of agreement with autorick drivers that meter rates will prevail, uber continues to apply surge pricing! totally unethical and exploitative. further there is no recourse available to the customer whatsoever, uber help /support is useless.

Unacceptable customer service! It took me 3 days to settle my case. Conversation keeps going back to automatic AI system, difficult to connect to a real human representative. A driver took a totally different route than what GPS provided, and tried to drive me towards a bad neighborhood in Calgary. He almost didn't stop even after I called him out. It was a frightening trip. When I tried to contact customer support they show no empathy, also they charged me extra for the wrong route he took.

it was my first an certainly the last time i will use uber, your drivers are disrespectful, and untrained. the driver assigned to me didn't speak English, stopped far from my location demanded i walk over to him, then blocked my number and cancelled the ride. and to rop it off there is no where to complain or report so he gets away with it. To top it off if I don't want your services any longer I have to pay a cancellation fee even if the driver is the one that cancelled forat
