no audio guidance on samsung is wack
Contacted support twice so far with no feedback or any support. The app stopped working and keep on loading and never able to navigate through the workouts. The app stays in the loop mode without being able to access the workout after the latest update on android. The app was working just perfectly before it was changed. I had to use another app which turned to be much better support with even clean and more clear videos not dark as this app. Tried to uninstall the app, cleared cache and no luck

I had a good experience using DDX Fitness. The app has a clean and user-friendly interface, and the features are easy to understand and navigate. I liked how the information is presented clearly and the overall design feels simple and convenient. The app is useful for keeping track of fitness activities and staying motivated. Overall, it is a nice and convenient fitness app.
cannot update the reps timer functions fails to work properly and inspite of giving feedback and a paid monthly subscription didn't even get a response I am sure none is monitoring the inbox 😔
I liked the functionality to have a customized workout based on equipment but I'm uninstalling it because there's no audio feedback on the timer, there's no warm up and if I want to select some alternative exercise it doesn't respect the eqipment constraint.
Fix the damn bugs
Latest update is ignoring the equipment settings. I was enjoying this app prior to the recent update and was recommending it to my friends. I have a home gym set up and it use to customize the workout base on the equipment I have, now it just recommends me to do a different workout style instead of customizing. Because of this I've already unsubscribed my auto-payment and currently searching for a different workout app.
After the most recent update, the app doesn't even load or display any information on Android devices (Google pixel 10a). Really disappointing...
I have been using this app for about 6 months and planning to continue using it. During these 6 months I ran into some problems and bugs, some have been fixed with updates and others remaining unfixed. like when you remove an equipment from the list of available equipment it still shows workouts for that specific equipment. Another problem is when you delay a workout for later it will change the whole workout. Lastly I have a suggestion: the workout routine should change from time to time.
I have had this app for around 18months but just moved from apple to android and the app functionality is massively reduced. On apple you get, far more functionality, health tracker, step tracker, links to apple health, option to refresh work out, select training method / split type, tracker lift history, the shred weight lift calculator uses your body weight no option provide it, the app doesn't track to total weight lifted effectively, and much more less functionality, poor value.
If you do not have a weight bench, but have hand weights this app is not for you. I have told it multiple times I do not have a home gym. There are alternatives which will also have weight benches & if you do find one that doesn't you repeatedly do those same body weight exercises over & over again. There is no way to communicate with them other than this review which is another negative
limited options without subscribing
I was using shred on iOS and recently switched to Android. I realized that shred has way less love for android than iOS why is this the case? I miss the ai bot and also many many other features like live updates and notifications. I have to keep the app open to be aware of the timer :( would love to see some love for android as well in your pipeline.
solid app. Great variety. Navigating the app can be a bit frustrating at times but has gotten better.
Super glitchy as others have said. It started with couple of annoying things here and there. Latest thing is that it ignores equipment settings, so I'll have smith machine as the one piece of equipment removed from the workout and it gives me an entire smith machine workout. I was getting good results from the workouts for the first few months using it, but the latest glitches have made it completely pointless for me. The support is somewhat responsive but they don't actually fix the problems.
The app has ben freezing on my wrist when I try to go enter a text. During my workout period then it finishes the whole workout set that I was on, even though I was not finished. So I have to start my whole workout all over again. And remember what waits and everything that I did
it freezes every time I switch apps mid workout while the countdown is on
I am sufficiently in pain
super glitchy, freezes all the time and spend half my workout messing with the app.
I like the variety of workouts! but the last update sometimes the arrow disappears and I can move on to the next set. 🤷♂️
been using for years at least 2022, the app blocks the next workout and I can't continue a workout. been great but app is very glitchy still
lacks features compared to apple version but same price here
so far, first workout was good.
Updating to 5 stars because support handled this really well. I had a frustrating Android bug that made workouts fail to start unless I reinstalled the app every session. Support acknowledged the issue, said fixes are coming, and went above expectations to make things right. The workout programming itself is genuinely excellent and keeps me consistent better than all fitness apps I’ve tried.
outstanding app, however, if you mess up on input of weights/reps, there is no way to edit without erasing and inputting the entire workout again. If that fix happens, this app may by far be the best out there.
still very buggy good main structure many set way longer than suggested but buggy wont save and some weight recall is crazy maybe good beginners
Consistently glitchy with logging and alt. workouts.
I used to love this workout app! But I can't even use it anymore. everytime I open it it crashes and have been doing that for at least a moth. I have to uninstall reinstall everytime I wanna use it. the worse is that I had a monthly subscription!
Did have some issues with load times previously, but after a few updates the app is very quick. So have upgraded from 3* to 4*. Workouts are great. There's still no 'Talk to Coach' option on Android. So hope this gets integrated at some point. Also needs a countdown buzzer for when rest periods are about to end.
Switched from iPhone to Samsung a few weeks ago. Shred on android is glitch, it doesn't track weight properly, and notifications do not work even though they are enabled. the iPhone product felt so polished and good. this version is lacking far behind. also there is no way to track your workouts with Samsung health like you can with the apple watch. very disappointing and may not resubscribe.
loved the intensity
it's awesome 💯
it is missing some features that said it had but turns out they are Apple features and not available on Android but overall still a good to very good workout app
I'm fat. I won't be fat for long. /10
bit basic and doesnt allow you to add in stretching elements or warm ups to strength training. doesnt include super sets or build in end of workout finishers. drop sets seem to be few and far between or randomly applied and increasing weights throughout sets isnt something it often recommends. sets tend to stick to 12, 10 and 8 reps. generally ok basic strength training programme but doesnt really follow whats more efficient or effective.
I have been using this app for nearly two years it's really very good app, heaps of different experiences and lots of new techniques.
hard work ever it on this app
the functionality of this app on android is awful. the app glitches, skips circuits, doesn't have an easy way to go back to skipped circuits. the overall experience on it compared to the ios experience is terrible.
nice
I like the app and the variation of the type of workouts, it is lacking where I select the equipment that I have and when selecting my style it says that I need to update my equipment, if I select all of the equipment that there is it says the same thing. I have sent an email to support.with no response, and would love for this acknowledge what I have or to someone from support to reply. I will consider updating my stars once I get help. PS: very well thought app and it does work.
enjoying the workouts but the progress tab is non existent on the app for me? cant log or track or see any metrics or progress anywhere
The app is not android friendly. I have complained before as well when the app would mess up the flow of workout videos on exiting the app. Today the app is taking 20 seconds to go from one screen to another. Workout videos are not updating. I deleted and downloaded the app but same issue. Please fix it, really frustrating.
Love this so far! It gives video guidance for form and written for different learning styles. you can customize the workouts very easily. It pushed me in ways I didn't do with the same routines and workouts. And it's free
This app is great at personalizing and suggesting workouts!!
really good for working out alone
keep freezing
Can you add: - Dark Theme Mode - Muscle Fatigue Tracker.
The app has become extremely buggy, on the verge of unstable. exercises seem to progress to next routine without selection. When you select an alternate workout, subsequent screens still indicate old exercise so it becomes very confusing as to which exercise you should be doing. I wish I could get my money back.
I wish you could change exercises if equipment isn't available at all.
this app is full of glitches. you get done with one set and the next set turns into the same thing you just did. example, did wide grip bench press 12,10,8. then was supposed to do wide grip curls 12,10,8. But when the rest is up it says we are doing bench press again. this happens all the time. This app will also lose track of your weight you put in. I stopped using this app for two weeks because of this, tried it again today and it's the same. don't buy this app.
When doing a circuit I accidentally would go on the next one without finishing the one I was doing. There would be a few times when I wanted to finish a circuit only to have it tell me to "continue" or "exit" not go back. Please fix this.
I like it but if it had warm ups included this would make it so much better
slow, no music
The workouts are good, but the app is very badly built. It glitches constantly, goes to the wrong workout or maps the wrong sets. Does not notify you if rest period is done unless you have the app open consuming screen on battery. Does not play any alerts over music, and has the most constant and annoying pop up asking if you're still working out.
this app is good at planning workouts and tracking progress. The ability to select your equipment is great. But the app is unstable. if you you anything outside of the app, even check a text, it crashes and restarts the entire workout.
Pros: - Absolutely great workouts, the progression is amazing with noticeable results. - Weight recommendations are really good and takes the guess work out of the workouts. - Makes sure that all the muscle groups for the specific part your working out are hit. Cons: - The app takes a while to start up - Very glitchy, sometimes hangs after one exercise - Keeps asking me if I'm working out after every one minute for no reason - If you have bad internet, it won't work
I like the workouts but if I put in background to use another app it messes up everytime
I specifically told the app that I have limited weightlifting equipment at home (dumbbells) and it created a routine for me which requires a bench and other gym equipment. That is completely irrational and unsustainable. It seems impossible to simply create a minimalistic workout routine with this app. Not recommended
Was an amazing app, until today, constantly resets to overall workout, skips exercises when phone screen closes, duplicate bug on workouts, its pretty unusable rn due to this. everytime I do a workout and go to phone to enter reps and weight, the exercise resets to beginning.
crashes frequently
Really like this app, been using it for awhile, but ever since the latest update the workouts have been buggy. Will be fine the first set but as soon as you start the next set it switches to a totally different exercise then you just got done doing
While the app has been helpful, it can be buggy AF and some days completely unusable.
I accidentally closed out and had to redo all of the excercise
This will get you right.
freezes and ends up not saving your workout extremely frustrating
Very disappointed with this app. I paid for the subscription and while the screen turns off the workout clears back to round 1.. and you can't even go back to where you left off without exiting the app altogether and going into the calendar and manually selecting the workout and restart it.. and then manually log every set and break until you get to where you where. Total BS It took me an extra 30 min battling with this app today. I want this to work, the app is actually good
good UI, bugs made me delete. Stops music every time the app opens, and freezes mid workout every time and won't load for at least 10 minutes. Every time. Open to retrying if corrected
Workout suggests 2 exercise in one round, but it doesn't alternate the workout. it tells you to do the same exercise twice without rest. then tells you to rest before switching to the next exercise in the same round, and rest again before repeat that same exercise. what?! also, don't try to go back to update your weights, it'll reset what you previously entered.
Getting back into working out and this app is super helpful for beginners to get them started with a solid plan.
Unsatisfied premium user here. 1. Rounds are unadjustable, which should be standard. 2. Android users don't get features like smartwatch support or signature workouts, despite paying the same, unacceptable. 3. The app repeatedly asks if you’re “still there,” even during workouts. 4. Estimated workout time is very unrealistic due to gym conditions. 5. No option to include stretching exercises without watching a video, inconvenient. I am just waiting for my premium subscription to end
Ive been using Shred for about a year now. I mostly love the program its easy to follow and the workouts are good. its very repetitive so long term gain is questionable when the muscles are doing the same thing on repeat. the new updated APP glitches and it hasnt recorded my last 3 workouts so its hard to keep track of what body section Im supposed to be doing today. as well the high rep and only 1 or 2 set (pending mini or regular workout) has you bouncing all over the gym machines. no flow
interesting workouts
keeps me motivated 💪
Glitchy and unintuitive. Options don't work, putting in weights and reps is hard, not visually easy to understand. glad it comes with a free trial to realize this app is a HARD pass
so far I'm loving it! will upgrade once I get a chance to
love it
The App Is Good . I Love Everything But The Logging Needs To Be Fixed i Spent A Hour And 30 Mins On A Workout Just For It To Say Only 2/4 Completed . Please Fix This .
Android version needs equipment selection options.
I really like this app but it's been freezing, crashing and the losing my entire workout 2 sets from the end. it's getting frustrating.
Excellent program. Take it easy if you are the "former athlete" who thinks its still easy and you are in your 50s or 60s. There is a huge difference in you 40s, 50s and now just turning 60. Ill check back when I get 30 days in.
awesome. what I've always been looking for unique dynamic different exercises rotating constantly so you never get bored. amped
app on IOS is way better, I will cancel my subscription
The application is always freezing and lagging to the point that I need to close and reopen the app to continue.
it didnt take my money but it works my body super well!
Decent app, but very slow. Lots of great workouts and options for a variety of styles (HIIT, bodyweight, etc). unfortunately the app is slow to respond - lots of loading messages and loading spinners that make it a drag to use especially when you're in a hurry.
awesome workouts and I love to see others cheer you on as you do it. I love this app ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
offensive signup process
its fire here
Great app for gyn
This is a great FREE workout!
Videos and great go at your own pace set up makes for a driven work out
Been using for a week so far, some points: - workouts are solid, easy to alternate exercises and suggested weights good. Splits are logical. - not all features on Android yet, particularly ability to modify equipment available (relevant for home gyms). Assured it's coming in next update. - more cardio sessions would be good, e.g. open running (all treadmill sessions require incline, not practical for open running). - Some longer programs would be useful, considering de-load weeks etc.
bugs in the app especially on andriod
Overall it has been really good but lately it is taking a lot longer to load and glitches/freezes or with crash. Not sure what has changed. I'll upgrade stars when it is back to working like it used to. Emailed their support.
awsome
nice combo workouts
I’ve been using the Shred app for over two years. The workouts themselves are solid—challenging, well-designed, and easily adjustable to individual preferences. That said, some routines feel repetitive, and certain workouts require rotating between machines that aren’t realistically located near each other. The app also has several drawbacks. It frequently freezes mid-workout, lacks the ability to track shared workouts, and offers limited tracking features.
decent workout plans but the app has a lot of bugs. freezes a lot. sometimes if I switch an exercise for a different one, it will crash the app after every set and reset to the original workout.
perfect exhausting exercise
I really enjoy the app, but it freezes constantly and leaves you having to wait for the app to reload which is frustrating.
I had hopes for this app but it failed to meet expectations. I was not able to select within the app the available equipment for home workouts. The exercise breakdowns were blank. Not worth the premium subscription.
Enjoyable & challenging workouts.
would be 5 star if it didn't freeze so often. also, timer stops working if you leave the app. feedback is never responded to in a way that indicates they listen
Overall the app is good, however it tends to freeze and in general glitch during a workout. The workouts it puts together are good, but can run longer than estimated times. If they fix the freezing and inability to proceed to next lift (caused by freezing), this would be a 5 star app.
Best calisthenics app you can get.
App has been very glitchy lately where I'm spending time away from my workout. glitches when I input weight or it freezes then presents me with screen or sub screen for every tap while the app froze. even then, I might not be able to input the set's weight to move onto next set/exercise.
The workouts I like for the most part, but the app interface I don't like at all. You cannot switch from "gym" to "home" workouts which is frustrating for those who split in a week. I wish you could see the workouts up front, but it seems like once I view a workout and close out to look at another, even if I wanted to go back to the first workout, it has disappeared and there's a whole new workout for that focus area. There is also no where to preferences (ie no bosu, cable, etc, etc)
The way the app is structured is great. Honestly one of the best I've ever used. You need to change your coders though, it's the most buggy app I've ever used.
Truly the best training companion I've ever had
unable to cancel subscription
Broken for Android. Should not be avaiöable for android.
the app sucks. workouts are great but the app itself glitches the entire workout, the countdown timer stops if i leave the app. i workout 5 days a week and the app only saves every other workout, i constantly have to change my workout even though i save my preferred exercises to the point that im spending more time to readjust my workputs on the app than the actual workout out. i used to use Shred in '19 and it was great. i redownloaded it last month and its been a disappointment ever since.
Great app for training without a trainer
Great app! but... would like to be able to input the weights and equipment I have at the start, not for each exercise, gets a bit off putting no timer, beeper, voice? I workout with music through my phone, if there is that, I can't hear anything. in my program, starts off at the gym, rather than home, which is my default. I select "bodyweight" or "dumbbells" only... guaranteed at least 1 exercise then requires a bench, or some plates. hope there's updates, it's great else.
awful customer service and updates. partner has same app on iPhone and the user interface is much better and far fewer glitches. constantly dealing with new issues with no response from customer service considering I pay for this app it sucks. functionality is often lacking and doesn't act consistently with how it is supposed to
The absolute best. I've been hitting the gym for about 2 yrs and had hit plateau for last couple of months. I seriously needed a workout plan to push myself and they are doing just that without any gimmicky exercises that most other new apps do. Thanks a lot 🫡
Android version doesn't have basic features like Health integration. Not worth paying for.
UI is good, allows you to log weight used and has video in a single screen. however, it sometimes glitches and completely freezes mid workout. It also doesnt let you go back if accidentally moved forward. also there is not easy way to get to the stretch videos after you end the workout and change your mind. is it worth the 50 a year? sure. more than that? not until the entire user experience is seamless beyond just basic functionality.
the android app keeps glitching and freezing. I rarely get to finish a full workout without the app crashing or randomly ending my workout midway through and having to restart everything on the app
The app is poor. Often if I leave the app and return, it basically starts a second workout at the same time and I can't finish my workout at all. Multiple reports to tech support, no resolution. The workouts take way longer than it says. They misspelled the name of a civil rights abolitionist who's quote they use, which I find a bit heinous. Or maybe it's just gross that they use quotes from the civil rights movement for something as insipid as workout advice.
your app having bug error on my device. While I open app its go back to lock screen and reopen app is okay.Any way to solve it.Pls answer back to me. Thanks.
Amazing app. Well worth the membership. Transformed my body
glitches, subscription management is problematic. customer service limited
Great app for a wide variety of strength workouts that can be tailored based on your fitness goals. I was a former chalk user and switched to this because the workouts offer more customization to meet the goals im working toward
need more barbell options
great app
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I downloaded the app and paid for the premium version. the app has potential but there's absolutely no difference between the free version and the paid version. when I contacted customer service they said im logged in with another email. I sent them screen shots of my login and its the same email I paid with. customer service stopped responding and aren't fo bothered to respond to customers.
extreme too good
Day 1 FULL body... Beginners... Loving it!
used to be great, now buggy with frequent lockups. don't recommend spending money on this app.
Really disappointed in this app. Kept crashing, skipping sets and the rest timer and then exiting the exercise routine altogether. When I tried to reopen it, completely new exercises had been generated. Gave up and have gone back to Calibre. I hate doing supersets and there's no way to remove these. Could be a really good app if these were fixed.
I love the app and it is so easy to use! the reason for the 4 stars is the tracking aspect of the workouts and knowing the weights I've put up and history, be nice to see trends!
It's great, but I wish the app would stop asking if im still here every couple minutes. I also wish I could edit reps during an exercise, or change the equipment mid-workout if its not available.
absolutely incredible app!!
love the workouts
I followed a heavy weight lifting program for two years. I got really bored following the same routine and as a rock climber, I didn't enjoy bulkier look. Shred has a lots of different workouts in circuits. I love Lean X and CrossShred for 60 to 75 mins. I am easily burning 420 to 500 calories in 1 hr 20 mins. Really good program if you are in a time crunch.
glitchy. freezes if you leave app during work out - timer stops, then won't accept weight entries, skips reps sometimes. a shame because the rest of the features are very user friendly. even for neurodivergent people like me
as far as these apps go. it is pretty darn good. It is Very leg heavy. legs on shoulder day, legs on arm day, legs the day after leg day. but you can change the workouts fairly easily. it just gets a little annoying sometimes. but all in all a pretty solid app
great app so far. I like the auto break time and the chime to start. I think being able to adjust the reps would be awesome!
great
Just started using it and the exercises are challenging but achievable. Can't wait to progress
App consistently fails to record completed workouts. I like the exercises but the app has a glitch whereby it won't log completed workouts as it records the time incorrectly. Extremely frustrating.
the best
A fantastic experience, and now my go-to companion at the gym and at home. I appreciate the depth of the exercises, healthy rest periods in between sets l, and the consistent tracking. I'm coming from BODi and other on-demand orograms, and Shred tops then all - nice work!
best workout app I've ever used!
why the exercises so weird don't recommend it for anyone who's more on the calisthenics/bodyweight side
good app. still getting use to it atm but so far so good. May review score after a few weeks
Working very good for me just little slow for India counterpart .
great, love it!!!
I've been a personal trainer for 15 years and I had lost the love to train, thought I'd give this style of coaching a try, although a Little glitchy it's amazing, right back on track now 😁
Honestly such a great free app! you can't beat this. You can customize your selected workouts to apply to home or the gym.
The app is very problematic and buggy. It is hard to navigate when picking the programme and exercises. many times you hit a button and nothing happens. I have noticed that happening when I am using a poor Wifi signal but it makes the app very frustrating to use.
This app is kind of perfect. I used to do Orange Theory because I just wanted someone to tell me what to do, but after a while, I wanted to be able to do my own thing more but still needed some guidance. This app has a ton of easy to follow videos, lots of variety, and it has helped me get results faster!
the website states you can select gym equipment available, and change the number of reps but after a few emails with their help I was told the android version is behind the apple version. it was not obvious to me where the AI came into the programming.
just finished my first workout. not too bad. excited to see what this is like once I get in it more. Will update then!
very great app, great for those who are not sure on what they want to work on and choosing workout
I found this app super glitchy and not intuitive. But when I reached out to the company they refunded my order. I really appreciate that!
Doesn't let me enter customized workouts
phenomenal app highly recommend
I unfortunately had a terrible experience with Shred App. Customer service was not good. I placed several emails as well as phone calls to them for support but never received any responses. Be careful signing up because they do not make is easy to terminate your subscription.
good work out coach shred
Awesome app.. Best fitness app I've ever used It pushes and. Motivates you You will see results if you use this app. Bottom line!
really good
amazing
Fully functional and customizable app for workouts. Tell it what equipment you have available and it will curate a workout of your choice, for you, based on that. Highly recommend.
Update: I had to remove it. Once I finally got the app open, my phone would start bugging. App fully crashes every time I open it and I just downloaded it a few days ago. It crashes my phone to locking it every single time.
The app quality has dramatically declined recently, I'm lucky if I get through a whole workout without it wiping out the whole thing
Great workout app! The workouts are descriptive and include a video description. Coaching is helpful as well!
I've been training actively since 2016 and never ever thought I'd pay for an app to help me with my workouts. Only thing I can point is that it needs a voice assistant.. it's just too quiet during workouts..maybe it's somewhere in the settings, if so I apologize. and the video exemple of the workout should start playing directly with the start of the workout. I don't wanna push the play button every time.. and I can't seem to choose profile photo. Nothing happens when I press choose from library
The app execution is great, lots of workouts, video instruction and a bit of social aspect is cool. However there are many facets that are buggy or don't work. I can't really do anything with my profile, it won't let me set a picture, it's constantly giving me a "are you still there" pop up while I have the app open & even after I've finished the workout & closed it out I'll get a notification if I'm still there and then error when I open it bc I've finished the workout. Fix these & its 5*'s.
Not user friendly. Started already with the registration. Don't have time for such bs. Uninstalled before even started
Love the workouts but probably won't purchase the full app until the android version has the update where I can input the equipment I have at home
Found it too difficult for a true beginner. The app is well done, but with my lack of strength or balance, some of the exercises were too hard to do and I feel defeated. The amount of reps was also too high for me (15 for each exercise, or 15 per side). I've worked with coaches before and never did more than 10 or 12
great workouts and user Interface
Received "failed to get workout" error several times in a row, uninstalled the app.
fantastic workout app. still working some bugs out, otherwise it would be 5 starts
very simple and easy ti navigate, I love the alternate exercise options, and I recommend it for both your home and gym work out.
it's a really good app except that it lags during workout which leads to lot of inconvenience
The UI is a little confusing. I'm not sure how to log the number of reps, only the weight and whether or not it was too hard/easy for me. I also can't see my history for the exercise.
The app is good but it would be nice to be able to workout with someone who has a different phone than me. Like android and iphone. The apps on each phone are different even when both are updated.
The workout are great. The app needs improving if possible. While doing a workout if you miss adding the weight you used you cant go back and add weights.. You also cant get home and export the data weights and time spent. Actually you cant even write the info on paper because while you can veiw the excercises done you still cant see the weights used. It has a social are but you cant chat to anyone, only give them a like if they work out. Lots of training options but not checked to see them.
It's beginner friendly and easy to use, I recommend this app for the gym goers and homeworkout
Looks nice for gym goers but, unlike the title and description, offers nothing for people interested in home training plans. I just get the same plan regardless of what I choose. Sorry, I don't have barbells and cable machines in my house. I thought that's the whole point for getting the app...
This App is horrible. It does not work most of the time and, has almost zero functions someone seriously trying to workout would want or need.
I love the workouts but hate the way the app is designed. Intermittent and constant crashing. Some days I can complete a workout without issue, other days it freexes and crashes after each set. I'm on a Galaxy S24 Ultra so my phone is mainstream. Another thing I take issue with is the way I can't go back and edit weights or reps for certain sets without having to hit the back button and undoing the exercises I've logged already. It feels like the devs have forgotten about their android app
After using this app for a couple of months, I think a big improvement would be being able to enter how many reps I am actually doing. I hope whoever is responsible for this app is making a fortune!! It really is amazing, worth every dollar I pay for it. I am getting such good results! (Run a Samsung, don't have any issues with the app)
When you tell it home workout, there are still several exercises that use gym equipment in the "customized" workout. There is no way to skip or swap exercises for those of us with previous knee injury who cant do squats. Several exercises show the coach doing it on one side only, suggesting that the user focus on one side, and implying (arguably) that there will be focus on the other side, but no; the clip of an exercise on one side is simply looped. Has great potential, but it's not there yet.
Not a keeper.
Great workouts. I've found real progress. the drawback is that the app has bugs and is slow. would give 5/5 if they fixed this
wicked
I wanted the tone and body workout .
EDIT: Revised down to 1 star from 2. Workout tracking only counts an exercise as "on track" if you do EXACTLY the number of reps and weights, no less and no MORE. Baffling decisions. I don't think an actual human reviewed these programs. Beginner workout at home? Hundreds of pushups, barely anything else in between. A beginner can't do that, an expert doesn't gain anything from that. Flashy presentation and functional app. Workouts aren't so well thought out, which is what really matters.
its so helpful
good variety, but would be better if the home workout had more than body weight. I have a home gym but no cables. causes issues in the workout.
Ive done over 200 workouts using this app so far. The amount of thought put into this thing by the developers is incredible. All of the workouts cycle in ways that introduce muscle confusion for ideal growth. It keeps things interesting and has great systems in place to track progress. Ever since starting this program, my workouts have become more intentional and effective. I definitely recommend to at least give it a try. Its a game changer.
so it has been very helpful if your true to it you'll feel every workout
The app has great workouts, but the Droid version does not let you customize the amount of reps in case you exceed or stay below the target. Who would design a workout app and forget about this? I reached out to customer support, and they told me to wait for an update. Funny enough, some of the app reviews say that the app hasn't been updated in a while, which made me wonder if this issue will ever be corrected and/or if it's worth it to pay a membership for an app that is not customizable.
Glitchy. Hard to focus on being on time with rests or exercises if the freezing and dual rest timers are stealing my attention.
Super expensive, it would be advisable to let potential customers know the outright cost or monthly payments before initiating workouts 👎
