I want to love it but the pacing is slow and sometimes takes multiple turns on its own to finish it's line of thought taking more tokens,during a battle an enemy was low on health and just hit one of my teamates so I typed"finish it off by shooting it"and the enemy tried to"finish off"my teammate by shooting them giving the enemy my turn,I feel that the tokens overtime should auto gather instead of manually logging in to collect, overall I love the idea especially the inventory.wish dev's luck.

DandD plain and simple

1. Sold inventory doesn't get removed from your pack. 2. Gold is a concept and you don't retain any actual money, and therefore it's difficult to determine what resources you can buy. 3. The game starts you off with a very unclear quest. 4. No fun dice rolls for certain actions pros: 1. Credits are relatively cheap to buy. 2. The story was clear and immersive. ---->edit: narrator has a tough time letting go of enemies if you dont kill them but have beaten them through passive means.

this game is not worth it , it doesn't follow anything and decides your fate to die regardless of your choices or instructions, further more this is fight only with no valid means of leveling up faster it's an utter disgrace then on top of that 2 mana points per level, and every creature met for combat gets stronger than the player , no room for development, also if game pulls your companion out and Makes an enemy it will acknowledge the error but won't fix it, this AI gamemaster sucks 0 stars

Now for the most part I have to say I love this game. It works with you as much as you work with it from an imagination standpoint. But what prevents this from being a truly great game for me is the lack of creativity. The game has a habit of, no matter what you do, circling around the same themes, even with no mention of said themes. Crowns, dragons etc. aren't bad by themselves but I'm getting the exact same or similar named monsters or quests across multiple runs. kinda kills my immersion

I'm a gamer, and I can't always get to the game sessions. This is the perfect game for me to get my D&D fix. Thank you for making this game. The story is amazing 👏. And I get to tell the game what my actions are, is so good.

ive only done the fantasy story,its been really awesome,not enough daily credits tho,and I know they've gotta make money to,but there's some of us out there that just dont have a lot to spare,I wish I did,this is a gem in a sea of these a.i. story games,it truly is,love the game,please keep up the great work,your doing an awesome job.

AI Game Master has great potential, but core limitations hold it back. The game entirely lacks a built-in dice rolling system, leaving actions without structured RPG skill checks. Inventory tracking is unreliable—sacrificed or consumed items fail to disappear. Companion quests designed to grant special abilities do not work, and there is no economic system for currency or trading. Complex mechanics, energylimits, and intricate lore confuse the AI or get ignored completely

honestly this is pretty cool. I haven't used it much yet but the idea is so awesome and everything I've done so far makes me happy.

Way better after the recent update. The new OOC (Out of character) function is a huge lifesaver. I always had to limit what I could give to the dm as meta since it would always be given to NPCs. Not anymore. Great update and the Dm seems to hold the story direction much better

absolutely love this application and hoping for it to go incredibly far, literally lets you make a whole custom character and let's you be detailed enough to make even custom special traits/powers for them before beginning, and if you happen to specify a world the character is supposed to belong in, it's even been able to recreate that world for the adventurers setting itself without even having to specify.

so far its great. the AI is able to adjust for all manners of inputs given to the game. nicely done team.

It's good but certain things need fixing. First of all, in some cases it gives you too much freedom and in others it's too restrictive. I know this sounds weird but lemme explain. When creating game, or doing a sequel you have no choice of the specific objective of the chapter. To the contrary, when playing in a chapter you have absolute control over how you'll complete it, and unless you're very creative you might end up completing it too easily. I can't explain much more due to the word limit.

Game is ok at first, but I'm quickly learning that constant forced deaths force you to a paywall. You will be attacked by random bs every 5 tokens furthermore the wait time to get the 5 free tokens just jumped from 4 hours to 10! quickly making the game ignorable. plus at three tokens a revive your irritation will peak. I have 4 combat trained servants who all seem to fail when I need them most, they just do nothing and allow my deaths in their direct presence. Are wonders worthless? please fix.

this is the second time my coins got took the first it took 100 coins and this time they took 200 coins I was going to keep you all at five stars but because y'all keep taking my damn coins I'm dropping you down to one star if it happens again you get no stars

im really enjoying the game is great loving the custom options and the developers in it are willing to work with you if there's a problem that pops up in the game.

not a fan of pay to play but a good game, show update for my first review. I've now played the game longer and have several hours into it. the game has massive problems with the AI. actually keeping tracks of quests what you have in your inventory, giving out quest and keeping track of enemies. I've reached out to support twice at this point once a few days ago and once over a week ago and have not received a reply either time.

Played a while ago and bought tokens. I haven't logged in for a while but now that I did all my tokens are gone. Nothing said paid for tokens would expire. Don't pay them.

ok so after going through many of these AI Text Adventures, this is by far the best one out there. the AI is amazing, always writing things in that deter my characters omnipotent abilities. also dungeon bosses are not always about fighting, you can convince them to join you. some dungeons don't even have bosses but instead chambers of riddles for you to solve through. I turned 1 boss, gave him my snap ability and have him watching over a bunch of ghost children now in a sanctuary I manifested.

the thing lies and cheats it really sucks it continues to attack and dose not let up and when you confront it it apologizes and send creature after creature you really cant stop and breath in this game one bit

Lots of neat systems; image generation for your characters/items, a fairly intuitive inventory system, combat seamless with narrative play, but the big issue is the writing. The AI DM is just not that great at generating a compelling story/characters. I've played a few these AI DnDs, checked this one out because it was so highly rated, but a game like Everweave, while having far sloppier systems, has way better writing, which is key for a text based rpg.

This game is horrible, I was excited about playing this and found the Ai to be horrible. I have played several Ai RPG games and this by far is the worst... dont waste your time or money.

this app is incredibly detailed, lots of background lore added to most story's as well, very adaptable, makes you think incredibly hard about your choices. one choice can make a story go a comepletly different way. I only just have started my adventures but this is definitely one of the best apps available on the store, only complaint is I need more tokens to play longer! comes with so many things, can unlock achievements and level up your character and everything.

I would say if you could add some of the dice features? to add to the fighting scenes and to the ability checks.

so far you get 3 types of adventures to choose from an token refresh every 4 hours 5 at a time so no need to buy any which is a plus for me at least.

AI interacting with you and creating the story from your answers is amazing! It even throws in theme music and, if you want, a narrator.

decent story making app, would be much better if the AI could keep the story straight. Also space story ship to ship combat needs a lot of work

Surprise bedtime story

So far, so good. I've never played an Ai assisted text based game this professionally done. It's not all text based, either. There's dynamic visuals created and a character sheet, templates, etc. I'll come back and change my grade if it warrants, but very pleasantly surprised so far.

Its fun, and in depth enough to be interesting. The length of posts is perfect for me with ADHD and trouble concentrating. I enjoy the paving as well.

decent app but its been almost 3 weeks and the tokens haven't replenished

This is just amazing, I can't believe how well it works with my own story. This ai stuff is very smart and call me very impressed with the fun results. I love how you can upload an image as well for party members as well. this truly heals with the gameplay feel.

it's very good and I enjoyed playing it The only problem I came across was that I had to correct it a number of times when it said I didn't have a sword but I'd just used one in a fight and it used a token for me to send a correction message maybe put in a system where it refunds your token if your merely correcting the AI ?

Dope. Wish it was free, but it's good fun for what it is and the free tokens give you plenty of play time if you remember to continue claiming your free tokens.

The LLM refuses to say enough is enough, so I'll win on my terms and stop feeding an endless plot hole generator. You can't have a game that doesn't follow it's own rules.

A text adventure rpg game, with just the right amount of additions to enhance, but not distract. One of the better Sandbox style rpg games I have found to date... :o)

genuinely fantastic AI game master! most fun I've had in years!

the stories are fun with good detail.

fun for a bit but very repetitive. it doesn't matter the genre; you will end up in an interminable passage with the same enemies popping up seemingly at random. even with my low rating, I'd recommend giving it a shot, but i wouldn't invest money or plan to play long term.

I bought tokens and didn’t spend them for a month. When I came back to the game, all of my tokens were gone. I find this very unfair. Because of this, I don’t recommend spending your money on this game.

waste of money I bought tokens but got busy I had over 1100 and the monthly suscription renewal came up I didn't so the game whipped everything I went to 0 $15 bucks gone!

its probably the best ai found with pictures you can even generate video I havent tasted that yet but this app is amazing I'd be willing to put money into it

Good overall. 3 minor points: 1. Can be repetitive with storytelling (I started 3 different adventures and all 3 had a female NPC named Veyra.) 2. It picks a quest at the start which is fine, but I wish you had the option to be a little more open world random instead of locking you in to that story. 3. Inventory could sync to story better. Example:If I have a knife I want to sell to a merchant, it should track the story and remove the item from inventory without me having to drop it myself.

awesome game play with music, images and voiceover. I'm totally wrapped in this, guiding the storyline where you are only limited by your own imagination but it can help you there if your struggling.

I'm actually quite enjoying this.

The stories are good, the game master is pretty good about reverting or adapting if things didn't go as intended or where miss interpreted. however it also does a good job ir making consequences of your actions feel real. over all great AI RPG experience, and even without paying you get some nifty features and enough (actions) for a small session each day of you use them right.

I was supprised, a fully narrated AI Game like this is a Gem. I'm probably just ending the Tutorial phase. Hopefully it's not all blocked by pay-walls from here on out.

It's hella fun, but as I was running out of tokens and was on my last 2 tokens, it seems like the AI was refusing to progress my story although I have given it room to continue So for example, I befriended a demon who said he will show me a path to a dragon's lair, but each of my last 2 tokens were spent with me simply typing, "follow the demon" and the response i would receive was along the lines of, "the demon guides you further" but with no end in sight.

The AI system is really spot on for what you're trying to do

You can have as much fun as you want to have with it. I like it because it really asks for my own imagination and input, so I can have fun "dnd" style, letting my imagination run free. But, if you aren't feeling imaginative, or just want mindless fun, this wont be your game. For myself, its one of only a handful of phone games that I've actually spent money on.

Very fun!! the Ai adapts well to complex text and gives a lot of meaning to how you guide your story. I just downloaded it today and ive been playing for hours 😂 and nowhere near as pricey as most of the games like this!!

I really love role playing games. this give close to same feeling since I can articulate my moves and thoughts in the intended, open world of role playing

Started an adventure, noticed I had an inventory, narrated myself picking up a few stones AND PUTTING THEM IN MY INVENTORY. The bot says they are in my inventory, my inventory does not have stones in it. Finally make a stone interesting enough to get it to register in my inventory as an item. Use the stone to fashion a basic wand. Wand is added to my inventory. Take the wand to a shop and show it to the shop owner. A second wand similar is somehow added to my inventory in doing so.

not bad but not great, no ads or anything but you get 5 tokens every few hours unless you pay money. that's not bad, there's character development and inventory which works wonderfully and you get companions. the Ai though can be a bit forgetful even with fresher created stories so that needs some work but not bad

Out of all the AI storytelling or DND games I've played so far this one is the best.It's not perfect but the champion system letting you use a character for multiple adventures is amazing and the tokens are by far the reasonable priced I've seen compared to other games.1 Issue I have is the encounter rates. Even on balanced difficulty the combat encounters are relentless and back to back not even letting you have time to heal forcing you to turn off encounters so you're not butchered immediately

fun as hell

I gave it another try: the combat system is very inflexible (you have to murther your opponents or the combat doesn't resolve.); follower system is messed up: I went to recruit a steward and he was added as a follower, I asked him remain and manage the repairs of my estate while I go to another village. When I arrive it is under attack and for some reason my steward is with me and taking damage... And when I make him quit following he abandons me saying that I don't need his services anymore!

They really ask you to rate long before you've even used all your tokens. However, this is tons better than other roleplaying sites I've tried. I left a star to fiddle with, but overall, the engagement on this is superb.

Was really enjoyable love the way I was able to add conditions that it completely made happen and in the great labyrinth with the great undead Skelton made game master and the statues with the riddles 3 and I reckon I could of taken it alot further cant wait to experiment some more might get the subscription to see howuch more I can do

It's very fun. I love that I can turn off encounters until I need one to pop up. It takes a bit to figure out the combat system and healing, but once I figured it out, it's not bad. I wish we had the opportunity to upload our own images for everything (mainly the inventor) like we can for our character. Also it would have been cool if we could redo a turn. There are times where either I misword a sentence or the AI misunderstands the prompt. Overall a good experience. Keep up the good work guys.

very slow paced ai responses. went through twenty saved up tokens for nothing much to happen, and the response length is small so the ai just tends to stall at scenes a lot. so to have a somewhat decent experience in a story, you'd have to save up over a hundred tokens at least.

highly customizable, and intelligent dnd experience. I DO recommend.

Amazing app if you're itching for an RPG and can't get a GM or a group together. The free version gives you a relatively short, but thoroughly enjoyable game experience each day. If you're looking for more, paying for extra tokens (or the unlimited version) would be well worth it.

fun and easy to play solo

I really enjoy AI Game Master, especially the huge variety of stories, leveling system, character portraits, and occasional screenshots that add immersion. However, the AI's memory can be quite limited during longer campaigns, often forgetting important characters or events. The game also forces combat too often, even when it doesn't fit the story. I once had a wedding scene suddenly interrupted by a random demon spawn! 😂 More narrative control and better memory would make this much better.

super solid, I really like having the AI as the DM.

The only things I don't like about this app are that the inventory storage is waaay too small. If I find something out while adventuring & my on person inventory is full (5 items) I have to drop something I already have in order to get the new item. Also the story says that I have my equipment, but when I check my inventory, there's only one item there. The enemies also are almost always a level or two above the main character. It's been like this for years.

I have tried other ai generated rpgs but they lacked any real story direction besides what you fed them. Game master is great so far, very captivating

So far, it's wonderful. I can't wait to try other scenarios. Now that it costs money to continue, my rating has dropped. I'm so disappointed.

took away over 300 talk tokens from me, do not use this app. Edit: now that I relogged back in it says I have 288 talk tokens. my rating won't change because I feel completely cheated out of something I earned and saved up on my own.

Edit: Strong concept and often compelling storytelling, especially with descriptive prompts and slower pacing. Unfortunately, longer campaigns expose major flaws: NPCs sometimes know private or unseen events they shouldn't, while older events are forgotten. Worse, World Settings and Story are locked after creation, so you can't correct or update campaign memory later; extra persistent info is subscriber-only. Great short-term, frustrating long-term.

For ElderGrove having a D&D campaign I can play anywhere and with friends is fun very vast and fun worth the download also free but it has in game purchases but man this game is a 10 star you level up and earn in game rewards and more. finally, a game that actually is FREE.

it would be nice if the daily puzzle offered a small reward. It sometimes forgets details, even with the remember option. which can make the story odd. The more details you type on your turn, the better. This is more of a creative writing tool.

this game has no structure, just an AI wrapper - you can play the same in any AI CHAT with a prompt

so. I like everweave a lot. the gameplay is smoother and much more detailed, but this game is almost as good AND so many more free credits makes this go from second place to equal footing with everweave. five stars earned

it started off good, but its posts text so quickly that it scrolls beyond where you are reading and you need to wait for it to stop typing in order to scroll back up to where you were reading.

good app, enjoy it for the most part though the inventory needs work and is too limited. equipped items shouldnt take up space in inventory. also the app wouldnt update items even when I typed "update inventory " costing me 3 turns. also I cant upload a Pic of my character.

wow, I'm very impressed with this so far.

time to uninstall stopped using awhile back. back when it had its looping bug just came back to it and the AI is still buggy as hell now it contradicts itself when in battle its always the battling that seems to have the biggest problem even to this day found another app I can actually roleplay and enjoy myself on without this contradicting BS the AI does I wish the developers luck but won't be touching this out for probably 5 years if at all

Love it! I would just suggest having an option to having 3 or more options to select from on "what do you do next?" since sometimes I don't know what to type for "what do you do next" and want ideas or guidance on which options to select or create my own if I want like it already has.

I had got a subscription then the game started acting up as in kept freezing up and making me restart storys losing all my progress then the tokens I had got from subscription just disappeared once I cancelled now to me that's straight up robbery. the game worked just fine until I got a subscription. I tried to reach out about it and just got a we will fix it speech on discord and it never got fixed. up intell then I was loving the game. that was over a month ago now. still not fixed.....

Overall, it's a solid game. no complaints. currently playing a horror story as Dean Winchester and the narrator even reads the humorous tones properly. I'm digging it.

Frustratingly great storytelling & decent (when it works combat system) but the platform AI has a very puritanical mindset when it comes to any romantic interaction other than holding hands or hugging even if you are playing solo. It's incredibly frustrating because it also tends to get rid of dialogue you wrote when it does this and writes a far shorter unsatisfying entry you are stuck with as there is no undo or delete. If it weren't for the tyrannical censorship this app would get 4.5/5 stars

tried to enjoy it but the AI makes up random garbage to kill you off. tried the horror one and apparently the AI decides you are defenseless against whatever it creates. Tried the apocalyptic one as well, same thing. the AI is 100% brain dead and just a cheap version of Claude or ChatGPT.

im revising my review. the AI forgets the plot or the world settings after a few turns, then refuses to rectify. im trying hard to like this game, even spent a little bit to support it, but the game just takes me out of immersion because of the stubborn AI Gamemaster, regrettably, I'm uninstalling.

i thought this app has a lot of promise. I liked the stories, the premise, and the way i can even toggle whether i get encounters or if i can just play around. It could use a little refining on the healing back up thing but maybe thats just me needing to learn how to trigger health and damage in prompt. The only thing that i got hung up on was the tokens. I ran out of tokens. huge heartbreak in having to uninstall because i forgot where i was going.

I absolutely love this game, it responds to my suggestions, let's me improvise with anything there. this is ttrpg brought to life. plus if u wanna solo, you can do that, and party members will have good responses, even comedic aspects

A load of rubbish. No matter what direction you push the narrative, it'll force it's own. Ruined a scene with an encounter, then glitched out and wouldn't get it take damage. Wasted ALL of my damn tokens! How about you add a bloody undo/ delete button?

Utilizes a pay to play turn style. Only so many moves permitted no matter if A.I. screws the mechanics up and trashes the scenario. Like a rewind, rewrite, and redo solves everything. If I wanted to play FF(?)# and start over redo i would.

I've tried a lot of these AI Dungeon Master apps and this on is by far the most impressive! Narration! Art of whatever scene you are in! They really put a lot of effort into this and it shows!

I would highly recommend this game over all other AI games. the combat AI and role playing AI work together, calculating experience, not just through combat, but through role play as well. Instead of throwing out the experience gained from role playing combat.

That was miserable. Its designed to kill you off if you don't turn off the encounters, so by the time you've learned the combat system you have no tokens left and need to make a new character. I'm glad I'm not paying for a homicidal DM. I can find a human to do this for free too...and didn't.

So far, very fun.

This is really ridiculous, for example, I get shot by archers on the street, then I take refuge inside a house and get shot again, yes, they shoot at me through the window, and then I move away from the window and hide behind the wall, But the archers still target me, and while I was hiding behind the wall, the arrow hit me again. According to the narrator, the arrow pierced the brick wall and hit me, Completely illogical, how did the archers know which wall I was standing behind?

this could have been great but it's creative decisions are highly biased. if it involved more skill based challenge check itd at least seem fairer. I could never figure out a prompt for healing between battles so inevitably died in every adventure.

this game absolutely sucks. the a.i. has no rules. you always die. you can create the best armor and weapons. have an electric bulwark. but, the enemy's always find a way to kill you quickly.

allowed me to create poop art in a starwars verse. I mean a detailed DaVinci of my charter and lord poop. this is everything I've ever asked for lmao.
