This could be a great game but isn't. They let you play a few songs and then hit you with an expensive pay wall. You can watch a video to play a song but all you get are errors after the add plays.

Fun when it worked for my first hour of play, but now literally every song I click i get an error. Little pop up that it's going to download, then an error. Pay 10 coins to join an event, can't play cause error. Battle mode, error. Single player, error. Watch the ads to unlock a song to play, ERROR. Not impressed. I miss beatstar.

it's not a guitar you can't use your fingers got to use your thumbs. now there's some way that can make your phone adapt wit h something so you can use it like a guitar with your fingers now it would be pretty awesome.

Everytime I try to use coins/watch an ad to unlock a new song it will say song error and wont let me play the song, this needs fixed asap..or I will be Uninstalling. Other then that its a great game and fun to play but when trying to unlock songs, like playing a ad to do so, it still shows up error occurred and will not let me play that song as solo or battling that song with other players. I will give better rating once this is fixed completely.

dropped it from 4 to 1 star. game was great til I got to stage 8, of which songs wouldn't load, offline or online. battle mode or solo. goes from events you can join to events requiring 100000 to join. uninstalled/reinstall 4x. emailed you guys with the issue and nothing. if your going to charge 9.99 a week, id step it up big time

I was able to play a few rounds of songs and then can't seem to get out of the horrendous amount of ads they have. I purchased the $1.00 add thing to stop the pop up adds so I could play the game but the ads just keep coming. some of the adds take over a full minute to get through. when the add is done it wont let you exit out of it. paying 9.99 a week is outrageous. pretty lame.

Super fun game, but ten dollars a week to play full songs and no ads? that's wild. Sucks that I have to watch 10 minutes worth of ads. Just to play a 2 Minute song.

After the tutorial song it's pretty much impossible to play. It's like guitar hero on pro mode, which would be great if there was a way to practice. I haven't been able to get far enough to have the problems other people are having because I can't get past the first non tutorial song. They need to either slow down the pace at the beginning, have an option for difficulty level or allow practicing. I think this game is a great concept, it's just poorly designed.

woulda actually been a decent game if you diddint have to watch an ad every single song you want to play and the ad is the same ad on repeat for 90 seconds or longer honestly these devices are just money fiends woulds not recommend

I used to really enjoy the game before it got so add heavy, every song you wanna "earn" by watching video never works! the ads always take you to the play store then it resets the game and then you start all over again. The game is fun and I love the concept, just wish I didn't have to basically pay just to play the other parts of the game.

installed to look around, had to watch an ad to even play any songs, not to mention the ad played all the way through just to be met with an unexpected error message twice, can't even rate the gameplay cause the app won't let me play

it's a good game too many ads though and 40 dollars a month is way way too much to pay for vip and to unlock all the songs on there

I love the game but im running into players who can keep the bonus on the pedal on for much longer than just seconds usually at least half or more of the song in battle mode making it to where I want to uninstall the game because skill and leveling up strategies dont work

AI art for the song covers and it made me fear if the songs were AI as well... Not worth playing if it meant supporting AI art and not giving jobs to musicians like me who could easily cover every single song in different styles needed, or artists who could have done way better art if it meant knowing it was human.

4 stars. Its a fun game, brings back memories of guitar hero and rock band. but I have noticed there isnt any leaderboard and no way to join alliances or talk to other people. so its not my kind of game. I like to play with other people.

Android gaming is dying. I don't play much on my phone, but when I saw an ad for this game I figured I'd try it cause I loved guitar hero back in the day. The gameplay itself is what you would expect, but the ads!! the "free" experience is terrible. not only must you watch an ad every time you wanna play a song, but these ads are now interactive!? can't wait it out or skip, you must play a "mini-game". are you kidding me? Not recommended if you don't want to spend money.

Good: Good song mix, great metal renditions of classical music. Bad: Song difficulty lacks consistency within difficulty levels. Novice should be called "Sleepy" and Pro - "Novice." The skill jump from Pro to "Legendary" is absurd. Ugly: Terrible ad balance. I accept watching ads but the sheer length of time in ads rapidly saps interest. Ads also resize the dimensions of the playing area, mid game, sabotaging your level. (UI shrinks grapical elements to retain ratio to make room for ad).

Can't imagine leaving an app installed for more than 5 seconds because you were hit with a VIP access sub on the first screen, then to the list of songs which require the full sub, and something called Battle Edit songs which you can only open if you watch 3 minutes of ads. Probably the easiest uninstall I've ever had on mobile.

If you like adds this game is for YOU. Even when you are done with a song it asks you if you want to double your coins and of you pick no YOU STILL WATCH AN ADD

it's great, honestly pretty freaking fun with decent music choices and a few originals. The only issue is that sometimes an update or something happens and I'm unable to play certain songs, especially new ones. even recently I haven't been able to play songs I've played before saying there's "An unexpected error" once that's fixed it'll be a 5/5

im a huge fan of games like guitar hero and the phone version is a blast but the price for premium is absolutely insane. No other company charges anything remotely close for their game pass. 40 bucks a month for a phone game is absurd whether you justify it or not.

Just wish it wasn't $10 a week. seems a bit pricey for me especially when there's not a ton of songs I like. other than that it's a pretty fun time-waster.

Long and unskipable ads make this game very annoying to play. I spend more time playing games on ads rather than this game.

Keep getting errors after watching an ad to play song. If intentional will delete this game. I cant even play anything because either the song doesn't download or unexpected error. Needs to be fixed.

I really like this game since it brings me back to the Guitar Hero days. My only complaint is the amount of ads. I mean c'mon. Click button to start battle..... video. After the battle.... video. Want to play another battle? Gotta watch a video first. Then once you start upgrading your band and instruments..... you guessed it! Another video. Literally watching 15 minutes of ads to play one freaking song. If it were even half of that I'd give 5 stars.

I actually really love this game!! However, it glitches too much and causes me to miss notes, WAY TOO MANY ADS.. And $10 A WEEK??? REDICULOUSLY TOO MUCH!!! AND after watching an ad, the game will restart itself sometimes.. Those are my reasons for only 3 stars.. I just changed it to one star, every time I try to watch an ad to unlock another song, when the ad is done playing it restarts the app and my song is still not unlocked I just watched two ads in a row and it still didn't unlock the song

game is super fun unless you miss a note and then the game lags so bad you wont be able to land anything for the rest of the song.

no matter what game I play I'm always finding cheaters I just played three players back-to-back neither one of them were hitting any notes into the very end and at the end their score tripled above mine.

wish I can actually connect my real guitar to the game that's my only complained on top of all that game is really fun feels like Guitar Hero but without connecting any real instruments to the video game

great music. the most annoying thing is that whenever you miss a note, it sounds terrible. I'm sure it's for the purpose of making you better but it's really awful. also I wish that there was a little forgiveness as to when you tap the note, like a bigger window between what counts as a miss

some songs don't ever work, like Billy Idol, White wedding and battle, never get another player. The red button is more prone to failure in a song and doesn't respond as it should. I have played many many times and still the same songs come up, time and time again. Not much variety unfortunately and needs to be sorted to keep engaging the players. Could be amazing but floats around on the average scale because the song choices are thin on the ground in battle mode

fun game, but lack of support kills it. basically the multiplayer is more or less unplayable at higher ranks, and they just keep adding songs instead of fixing it. just did 1 of my games for my 4 wins, I'm at 13000 records, the dude has a starting advantage of almost 6000 points. so I physically cannot win unless I 100% a song. the entire system is built around forcing you to play easy to 100% novice songs, instead of improving and playing harder ones. been this way for over a year now.

Was really enjoying the game, until ads started after every song. Will be Uninstalling, reduce the ads because they ain't short either. To have to watch an ad after every match is diabolical, money scheme

Like playing, but want to play more than the handful of songs it allows me to. Can't play the green ones, as it always says, check internet connection, which must be on purpose. I'm not paying 9 bucks a week to play unlimited so I guess this isn't for me.

Fun guitar hero clone, except for all the UNEXPECTED ERRORS that pop on songs you try to unlock and for events you try to join, and it still takes your stars anyways! Would he a solid five stars if not for this - what a shame....

playing the game was working just fine but out of nowhere started messing up when I tried to hit two notes at the same time was not registering the other note. kind of reminds me of tap tap revolution... but even that game was better than this. too bad it doesn't exist no more 🤷 would play but be of this I'm not playing...

10 bucks a week for vip is crazy thats a cell phone bill. and on the second day I logged in and had mail open it up and it was a pop up add for a different game. lol Uninstaled it right after that. as the songs are like ai covers and sound off I do believe the game will get pulled for copy right laws soon.

I like the game yeah the ads are annoying but I can deal with it I guess but the main problem I'm having is songs that I have played in the past on here or Xbox or Nintendo Wii I've hardly ever missed a even the hardest one and now I'm missing the easiest ones I've noticed a cliche while playing

I'm giving 4 stars only because I played the event, placed 3rd and it wont let me claim my reward. There's no back button either. I'm forced to use my phones back button in order to return to the previous screen. everything else is pretty good.

I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I am able to play one song and then the add pops up. I watch the ad and return to the game and i pretty much get an error message and try again to the same outcome.

The game does not have any free offline songs. Users must view the ads first to play the song in Solo. after that, they must view it again. Is this a joke!? BAD UPDATE!

Don't play, they can give you two hold notes at the same time but only allow you to do one, so you HAVE to miss a note. They basically set you up for failure if you ever want to do a flawless song, might not be bad for most people, but I don't want to play a game that gives either faulty controls, or notes that they don't let you hit.

10/10 amazing rhythm game I love guitar band Sooo much I just completed all achievements for the game super worth it the only issue I have is that sometimes there's a bug that occurs which doesn't allow you to click two keys at the same time and you'll have to restart your game to fix this issue but other than that the game is really Good ✨

This game has the potential to be great, just the ads hold it down and if you don't want them, you have to pay... Each month. There are tons of ads for before a song, after a song.Even if you opt out of an optional video for extra stars, you still get forced with a video irregardless. It was not even connected to a song or anything else in the game. Just a popup whether I want to watch an ad for extra stars - I didn't and I still got forced with it which led me to delete the game unfortunately.

amazing feels just like guitar hero from the Xbox 360 days, it doesn't make you watch ads either unless you wanna unlock a new song which it's a one time forever unlocked thing so not bad. a honest 5 star's and yes it got slow ride, cult of personality, rock and roll, you name it

About 3 years ago I gave this game a 1 star, saying that it should be even less. Now it is incredible. The sync is so much better, and the songs being covers rather than rip offs makes it so much better. Thanks for sortibg the game out team 🙏

Ruined by ads. it's a shame the game play is fun. But for some reason despite already having to watch ads to play certain songs. They also shove ads in game while you're playing. So at the very top of the screen is an ad that changes as you play. This unfortunately affects gameplay. all they need to do is remove the ad from the game as you are playing. We can't exactly read the ad and play the game at the same time. So putting an ad in a game that requires extreme attention is moot.

great game, lots of fun, the 9.99/week option is way too much. I would do a one one time purchase but not a subscription. I am exhausted by everything needing a subscription nowadays.

The thing is, it's genuinely a good game. The ads can get pretty annoying and there are a couple glitches that can be frustrating. Other than that it's pretty fun, though the bigger issue is the use of AI to recreate the album art. I'm sure there are plenty of artists, including myself who'd be willing to do the art for this game, including myself. If you're interested I can send my portfolio and I could do them for cheap even if it means the game devs won't rely on AI anymore.

I've found if a song won't play it's Sample, it also won't Download for Playing. What exactly am I supposed to do when NONE of the ad songs Nor free songs will play their sample?? My 2 song options, that actually play the preview music, are Stars-I-Cant-Pay or 10Bucks-VIP (ridiculous price btw). Do I just quit? Cool game. Ridiculously expensive. You have to watch an ad for everyone song or pay £8 a week/ £32 a month for all songs ad free. It'd be fine if it was one flat payment for the game but every week is kinda stupid. Usual mobile game devs being greedy. That's £416 a year. The game lags whenever the banner ad at the top of the screen switches to a new ad, causing me to miss notes while playing. This is especially frustrating in rhythm-based gameplay, where even a brief lag can result in a missed note. Please remove the ads that appear during gameplay, as they negatively affect the gaming experience.

why is it that when I use and ad to get a new song, it wont let me play that song in battle? it tells me my internet is disconnected. I cant play any new songs that I download cause of that. also, why is it that ill play a song and im battling the same person every time on that song? I can almost tell u who im going to battle with. and also, are you ever going to have a new event? we've been playing the same songs for 3 years now. I think its time for a new event. or at least new songs.

the tutorial is genuinely insufferable. half the songs are knockoff covers which i suppose makes sense since who can afford those rights. and dear lord so much of it has ai covers for the songs i can't in good conscience play this. it's so bad. i can't find a decent rhythm game at all.
