it's become very hard to use this app because the ads play too long and and very hard to turn off. The ads play when you need to read crucial information about the tides when boating. if this doesn't change soon, I'll be looking for a new app and deleting this one.

Obtrusive Adds

update, 10/14/26. I am having the same issues as my before the recently updated app. I want to get back to liking the app! the developer responded to my old review below. but no changes that I see. I had given this app a 5 star rating before but had to edit it after the recent update. It freezes on me now! Please fix it! it is unusable for my Pixel 10 now.

I use this app every time I'm thinking about going fishing. Depending on where you are in the Tampa Bay area, high tide can be three hours apart. A+

Beware of scam ads on this app. The app itself is good but I am seeing increasing numbers of scam ads appearing on it which are clearly phishing exercises. Google should take action.

I used this app for several years and it's great but the ads got sneaky and intrusive. I'm ok with ads until they start getting in the way and try to trick you into clicking things. No one needs that.

the app is good, sometimes hard to find the right location (default is location nearest you) but you can set favorites and quickly change. the real annoyance is the ads. Your heading out on the boat, want to glance at the tides and a thirty second advertisement stops you. I was hoping for an ad free one time payment option but nope. Great information, I use it a lot

works alright. The calendar/date choosing function could be better if it actually did a full month calendar instead of scrolling through numbered dates that don't show what day of the week that is. I'd push it to 5 stars for that.

full screen, full volume ad with no way to close or skip within seconds of opening. does this app even provide tide predictions? I have no idea since I was forced into this ad within 5 seconds of launching the app and was unable to close the ad without force closing the entire app. try 'Tides Near Me' instead for a superior free option

Ruined app with ADs: Changing my positive review from 2013. The app now requires you click through and watch multiple ads without a way to exit the ads without opening them. Renders the add not useful for quickly checking tides while boating or fishing.
