Hi! I have a problem with the app. It has been a while since I last opened the app. And right now when I try to open it, the screen display is just black. I'm really worried right now about all of my data or logs because I didn't save it, or have it back-up. So I'm worried to uninstall and reinstall it because what if the my logs are lost. I don't know what to do, and I don't want my 8-9 month logs go away. Please help me, and thank you! I have also sent you an email. And TBH, the app is NICE.

I've been using this app since the 11th of November 2013, and never missed a day. A truly life changing app. It has it's occassional bug, but these are often corrected soon after. Grafeful for the team behind 1SE 🙏🏻

Used it on iphone and it was great. on my xiaomi 17 ultra videos are not working. "unable to proces video" and "unexpected runtime errror" are errors that I have. I'm sad because I used it for years

1 Second Everyday is one of the most meaningful apps I've used. Watching years of memories of my children come together in a single video is special. They also have outstanding customer support - very responsive, helpful, and genuinely caring.

is cool to find something of 1 second to put in every day ... all those notifications gets kinda ridiculous and annoying .. need to have a choice of how many, like 1 a day, or 3 a day, etc .. i can put something in the app for the day, and still get like 6+ reminders to put something in .. about to cancel the notifications

Its great for adding photos it just has one problem at least for me, I could add a photo no problem and then try to add another to another day but it won't add it, it loads forever then crashes, its so frustrating. thank you guys for resolving the problem for me.

I've heard of this app from a high-school friend of mine, and honestly it is a very good app. It clearly shows how much you have changed, and a reflection of memories. Hopefully, my habit of filming a second/day will stay strong. ♡

I love the 1se app, its like a mini movie at the end of each year. I also love how I can journal in this and write my thoughts, my day, anything that I want to. Thank you to the person(people) who made this app and the random person on reels to give me knowledge of there being a app like this. Though I am a but upset at pro features and the price, other than that it's a wonderful app and I suggest it to be downloaded.

I use this app to document my daughter's life. I find the subscription quite expensive so used to do a month's subscription every 6 months to back up my clips but then I went to do it last night only to realise they have taken the option of a month's subscription away! After 4 years I'm gutted as I feel I can't afford to pay the year's fee.

Edit...New Issue, Now I can subscribe for a month so I can move to a new phone. In App just says "Loading Product Information". guessing the owners are cashing out. Been using this app for a few years now. this new update has many bugs. like having to click the orientation to actually get it at the orientation I want, now when I try and edit the clip I get an error. hopefully they can iron them out quickly.

Loading Product Information Freezes App; can't utilize app after downloading on S25U, just keeps spinning. Can get to other options in app, but can't upgrade to utilize pro mode, etc. Worthless at this point.

I've been using the paid version of this app for 7 years, and my compilations are my most treasured digital possessions. Not only is this app easy to use and maintain across devices, but when I've suggested QoL upgrades or reported bugs to the team, they've responded quickly, professionally, and have made my voice feel heard. I have gotten multiple friends to use 1SE, and will always recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I’ve used it since 2019 and ended up documenting my entire relationship with my wife, as well as the birth of both of my kids, capturing moments that would easily have been forgotten otherwise. I couldn’t recommend this more highly.

I've always liked the app, and have been using it since 2020 with only minor issues. The app has greatly reduced it's quality in the latest update. It looks less user-friendly and you can't use the last few seconds from a video. Everytime I try to slowly drag the point I want to use forward, when it comes closer towards the end it will make a jump and then get "stuck" there with no possibility of saving that log for the day. Very annoying since I often want to use seconds from the end of videos

Great app in theory, but previously free features have moved to a paid version (which costs a fortune)! The new method to choose videos is terrible, and keeps telling me a video has been used already when it hasn't. Picture and audio go out of sync in the downloaded video, which has been an issue for years. Very disappointed with the lack of fixes and consistent upselling!

if you won't pay, it works terrible. and once you have finished one month you can't combine two months....

since the last update, whenever i try to add a photo the app crashes ... it doesn't even convert them to video anymore ... i do like the app otherwise, not sure what the update was for since it made everything just a little bit worse

I've spent hours working on my project this year (30 mins long), and even paid $50 for the premium product and lost all my work. I've been contacting support since October 2025 to fix my project, which can play my video project in the app but not rendered. I've left a voicemail and asked for an update in the support chat and email at least once a week. Eventually they stopped responding. Beware that you can lose your progress at any time. I've asked for a refund and will update if they provide.

wow tries jumping back on the app but seeing the subcribtion price is kinda insane. I get it gotta make money and pay fees as a company but can't do it, it's hard out here as it is.

I started using this app on January 1 this year, and I was enjoying it until the recent update. I tried to give it time and get used to the new interface, but it's honestly just awful. Visually cluttered and ugly. Really ugly. The journal function is less useful since it's been pushed out of sight below the screen, and even my own photos are uglified in stretched low-res on the cover. I've cancelled my subscription and I won't be coming back to this until the UI changes are reversed.

I've been using this app for 10 years now and love it! It's a great way to look back over the years. The main features work well and can compile and download each year. Although it's sad to see every extra feature slowly moving to the pro version - I do wish I could move across different phones and have an extra journal in the free version like it used to, or that there was tier system with a cheaper option to allow some of the extra features.

it was a great app until their most recent update. now it's so glitchy that it's unusable. I can't add new seconds to my project.

I've been using this app for 2 years now and everything was fine, it's an awesome app, but the last update did some things that aren't right. Now the videos freeze if I try to cut them right at the end, and for some reason, some videos get cut off if I change them from vertical to horizontal format. This didn't used to happen before; I don't know if there's any way to fix it.

First month of using the app and unfortunately there's been a few issues. Latest issue involves not being able to upload any clips. App gives a pop-up message stating 'Unable to process video, please select another one' but no indication of what the issue is. Clips uploaded earlier in the month had no issues so not sure what changed.

I've been using 1SE for nearly 2 years and I'm a premium user. it's been great but the current update version is terrible, it's glitchy, harder to use and just generally worse. Please revert back to the old version. I'll be looking at other apps when my subscription runs out if it stays like this

Love the app. Have been using it for years and think the concept is wonderful. But the UI has recently been updated and I really don't like it. It's much more visually cluttered than before and more overwhelming to use. I think it's a combination of the colour scheme and the layout. Wish they had kept the previous design.

I really like this app, but it still has massive problems with syncing video, the audio from the video and any music you want to add. Considering I pay for this app it's a shame. It somewhat diminishes the video I end up with at the end of each year UPDATE Recent Android updates have broken clip trimming (especially the final seconds) and it’s been unfixed for months. Support has stopped responding. Very disappointing for a daily-use app.

Love this app, I've been doing it for a year so far and am telling people I want it played at my funeral (when hopefully it will be very long!!!) I really enjoy the challenge of finding something to record for every day. The one time I needed advice about it the team were very helpful.

the widget doesn't show the photo/video uploaded on that day anymore, just a stock image from the app. also, when leaving the edit screen and going back to calendar view, it scrolls down to January 1900

Not worth using anymore. Between the Google pictures integration being gone so needing to manually scroll for everything every time, and the error message I get the first time I try to upload anything, it's not worth it anymore. I got a new phone and after faithfully saving videos to my Google cloud all year so I can add and compile at the end of the year, this is a ridiculous task that fails 90% of the time. And they have the gall to request an insane fee that wouldn't fix this anyway.

1SE prefers their IOS users. The app is cool and I love it don't get me wrong. But the app for IOS vs Android is like night and day. The dev team clearly has a preference

I used this app for 3 1/2 years no issues on an iPhone. Switched to android a few months ago and I've had issues with the color of all my clips changing, and the app closing out when trying to export. Customer service literally told me to use capcut. Google version is not prioritized for bugs, it's not for us.

I've used this app for years. every time I compile there is literally ALWAYS at leaat one issue. this year, the dates aren't showing up on 1/12th of every clip. last year, some of the visuals weren't lining up accurately with the audio for several clips. several years have had issues where the visuals do not stay formatted correctly (horizontal video are crammed into a vertical layout and vice versa). It takes hours to work around these issues and I still haven't found a resolution for this year

I had been using this app for a good few years, then in August 2025 it stopped working. Constantly has errors when trying to upload videos. It's a real shame as my partner and I used to love sitting in New Years Day each year and watch clips from the previous year. I've cancelled my subscription because why pay money for a useless app. A real shame it doesn't work.

This app used to easily connect to Google photos. Now I have to search each specific date in the pop up for google photos and it keeps saying there is an error when trying to upload.

Loading from Google photos seems to be broken for many months.

The APP was previously great but since the API update on how it connects to Google photos on Android it is now basically unusable. It no longer opens the videos on the date you choose. I'm doing my year in review so scrolling through a year's worth of video/photos to find one second is an almost impossible customer experience. I'll have to find another app unless this issue is resolved. I imagine many customers would be the same.

the screen has stopped scrolling when I write a long journal entry. it's really annoying and I didn't know why this is now happening (been a paid user since 2020).

this has been my favourite app for four years but I've swapped devices and it won't restore my data. it if can be fixed, then this is absolutely a five star app, but if I've lost four years worth of memories, I'll be upset.

Love it, really good, you get reminders and things so you don't forget to shoot your seconds for that day. Wish you could do more projects for free, even two. Wish you could download or something, maybe you can somehow but I've not seen that feature yet. But apart from that everything is great.

I've been using 1SE for years now. My collection has survived 5 or 6 phones at this point, never had to worry about any data loss. The application functions perfectly, never had any issues. I love being able to go back and look on previous memories, many of which I have never shared on social media or would have otherwise been able to reflect on. It makes for an excellent time capsule, and I find comfort in knowing I will be able to leave behind a montage for my loved ones to remember me by.

Please restore the ability to add notes to days with no clips. It is how I kept track of clips to generate later and losing that has resulted in many gaps in my year, which is a shame.

Unfortunately the app has disappeared from my phone (so I can't seek help through the app) and I'm unable to download the latest version because it says it's incompatible with my device? I've paid for this app for last 4 years and it's now disappeared and I've not completed my videos. My last payment was less than a month ago to run for the next year. When the app works it's great.

It's been good until the last few weeks, where it just won't open and keeps telling me it has a bug and won't work. "Wait for the developer to fix the bug and try again" Please fix it! I don't want to lose all of my videos.

Purchased 1 month of Pro while on an international trip. 2 days later they took it away. Support is useless / unresponsive. The app is terrible. Waiting 10 minutes to load a 2 second clip (with 5G service, full bars). I think this project has been completely abandoned. Poor tech, no support, their premium features don't even work after you've paid for them. This is just a scam at this point. Stay away. Edit: App now won't open at all anymore, just crashes immediately. What a waste of money.

Unable to delete duplicate snippets & issue has not been resolved by support. I have gone through multiple deleting the app, clearing cache, etc. Nothing works. Frustrating.

They deleted my account when it had been inactive for over a year. I spent probably 20 hours uploading & editing photos of my baby's first year. I made an account and saved the login. I KNOW I did this because I was planning on getting a new phone, and I didn't want to lose all my work. I got a new phone and didn't access the app for over a year. today when I tried to login it said " this account doesn't exist". BULLS***. You deleted my account to save on server storage. NEVER use this app!

Edit after response: I AM in contact with support, with no help.. Used to love this app, but have been in contact with support for more than 8 months about an issue in creating my video of 2024, which shows the wrong videos and wrong dates. So far, the only "support" I've been given is either "Have you updated the app?" or "Please wait for the next update" instead of them giving a real solution to my problem. They also don't provide me with an option to make a real complaint about this issue.

Push notifications havent worked on like 2 years. I've tried updating the app, deleting/redownloading, clearing the cache/memory, fixing my phone settings. Super frustrating. I want to use the app but the reminders were always what got me to fill in my 1 second for the day. Now I go months without thinking about it.

when the goal is to select a picture from everyday, the interface needs to show all photos from Google photos including partner showed and include the dates taken. if you have time to respond to this review adding me to contact your support, you could tell your support team.

I love this app and use it like a photo journal. I've been using it for over 5 years now and it's great to go back and see what you were doing on this day 2, 3, 4 years ago. What's also nice is that the team behind the app is great- any time I've had a problem (which hasn't been that often), they are very responsive and helpful. I pay for the pro version and honestly it is a bargain for everything you get.

been using this app everyday for three years, and it's been a great visual reminder of everything i've lived <3 i love my monthly "recap". there's a few app crashes every now & then while editing each vid, but it's mostly consistent. i'd love to be able to have a personal proyect as a free user tho!

The app is unusable now! I've used it for 5 years and the update from Dec 2024 ruined it! Removing the ability to preview a video before adding it to my project makes days with multiple clips to choose from near impossible to fill out. It now takes an extra 4-5 steps per clip to add it and on big days when I took 5-10 clips it makes me want to cancel my subscription! Also hate that it now auto chooses the second from your clip. It's always wrong and I have to fix it adding to my frustration

No notifications despite setting notification reminders twice a day and App notifications being turned on in my phone settings. Unable to add captions despite being on the pro version. The option to add captions was there on my first video but since then has disappeared. Feels a bit pointless paying for the pro version when the pro functionality doesn't actually work.

I loved this app until this week. Now everytime I open the app it asks me to create a new project with no option to get back to my old project and continue that one. I do not want to create a new project incase it deletes my old project as I am using free 1se. I have tried to contact support via email, message and Instagram but have had no answer. i can't use the app to contact support as I cannot get off the new project page without risking deleting my old project.

I love this app BUT I haven't been able to add anything to my project this week. I keep getting an error that says "error: sequence is empty." please fix this!!

I used this app quite a bit in the past and did 3 years worth of 1SE before taking a break. Now that I'm back, I see everything has been monetized. No complaints with the 1 time fee to remove watermark, but I do have a problem with having to subscribe to export at high quality. I think that's dirty. make it a one time $5 fee if you have to, but not a subscription. I'd recommend using a competitor app over this one. It was good at the start, but a money-grab now.

I've used 1se for 2 and a half years now and I love it. it's such an easy app to use and helps create videos that hold such good memories. HOWEVER, the app has completely crashed for me. I can't open it and access my videos. When I launch the app it gets stuck on a page telling me to start a new project but won't let me leave that page. I've reached out to support for help and they have completely ghosted me. Now I'm stuck in limbo, having the app on my phone but unable to use it.

I love the idea of the app, but I can't figure out why I'm only able to journal on certain days. I would love to use this app to also add "captions" to the day with the photos but the ability to add journals doesn't appear for every day, the button just isn't there. Also, I took a large break from this app and now, I'm assuming until I make a new entry, it puts me up the date of my last entry every time I open the app and to scroll back down takes ages

I love 1SE and have been recording for a few years now. I understand that the app needs ads to keep going, BUT the fact that my videos do not load up after I submit them because it's trying to find and load an ad, and the video just doesn't load is absolutely stupid and unfriendly design. If you can't load an ad don't make me wait and make it look like it's an issue with loading a *1 second* video. Come on

I decided to start using this app for 2025 - every time I did an activity or something of note I would record my 1 second clip. It was going great until my phone decided to get stuck in a restart loop 🤦‍♀️ Nothing to do with app BUT I had to factory reset my phone - not a problem, everything is backed up! Except yep, 1SE app and my little project. Cos of course, that little feature is stuck behind a paywall. Not cool guys, not cool. Lost my ongoing video, not starting again - deleted app.

the video compilation of all the clips loads with a tiny jarring pause at the end of many clips (which isn't actually present in the individual clip itself) so it never flows nicely but instead plays very bumpy, end up as an unpleasant video at the very least.

No longer fit for purpose after a very recent update means that, instead of the videos popping up for the date you want, you now have to manually select videos from Google Photos that are no longer even separated from the photos, which can mean trawling through hundreds of photos (when you're catching up like me!) to find what you need. I've used this app for years and it's always been brilliant so I'm really disappointed. It all just feels hard work when it used to be so straightforward.

I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed this already, but this is genuinely one of the best apps i've ever used, and I don't say that lightly. I almost never give apps 5 stars, but this app actually brings me so much joy. I love the idea of capturing memories every day, and I also love that it has a journal built in. I look forward to writing everything that has happened in the journal every day, even when it was a boring day. That is to say, I totally recommend the app!

Love the app, but really don't like the new update where you can't upload a Journal entry before uploading a video. I use the journal every day to record my workouts, but I don't have a second long video when I work out in the morning. Please fix this and then my review will go back to 5 stars.

Pushes the pro version a bit much but otherwise amazing app!!!

Please fix your app. Been using it a week so far but have run into a lot bugs in that time. Adding/editing a caption results in the app crashing for me 100% of the time. The date filters don't work whatsoever, clips are being marked as having a date in 2025 today even though yesterday they were correctly marked as 2023/2024/etc. If you are going to lock features behind a pay wall, I expect the app to actually function at a basic level.

New update has put a big in so it shuts after you add ever single picture each day. So irritating.

Used to love this app but seems to be a new update can't find any regular features. It no longer takes me to the date I'm adding a snippet on in Google photos. So I have to scroll and videos no longer work. Disappointing.

I used to love this app years ago but after returning it's a shell of its former self. It's monetization neuters it to the point of being unusable.

the new version isn't as good. doesn't connect properly with Google photos (you have to find the videos you want to use!) and the free version has an ad EVERY day you save a video 🙄 very dissapointing. I loved the older versions.

Currently a glitch. I've really liked this app in the past and promoted it to multiple people. I've paid an annual fee for 3 years. Unfortunately it's had a month of a glitch where you can't import photos from Google photos directly (which is how I primary make the video). It's an expensive app to pay for and to have a glitch. They have told me numerous times a fix is coming but I haven't received an updated version yet.

Used to be great, now it doesn't sync with my Google Photos anymore. Wrote supporte and they admitted they had trouble with this and other customers couldn't sync either, so far nothing has been done and I still can't use it even though I'm paying for subscription. Disappointing.

I loved this app for many years. I was a huge fan when I first found it, told everyone about it, it truly brought me so much joy and I felt like it enhanced my life. Over the years it's super saddening to see features being stripped away and the cost keeps increasing on what was once a free app. Now it's a pretty expensive subscription. Not only did i pay $5 to have the watermark removed that was placed distractingly over the videos, but now I'm bombarded with an ad after EVERY video upload.

I used this app every single day for 4 years and absolutely loved it. However, now, with the new updates I can't stand using the app. It constantly asks you to upgrade to the premium account for money, and it spams you with Ads now. The new setup and layout looks worse and more complicated to use. If you want to add a caption to your picture/video, you need to rego onto the date and press edit, instead of just adding a caption before you submit. It's such a shame because I used to love the app.

I LOVED THIS APP WHEN I FIRST STARTED but there were starting to be so many ads and today I went to go read my old and didn't even know I need to subscribe to backup so all my 3 years of memory's are just gone. This is disappointing

Ridiculously expensive to do cloud backup. You'd think they would just enable backing up to your Google Drive or iCloud that you're already paying for, but nope, you gotta use their own cloud. My suggestion to them is to add another option: USD 1 per month with Google Drive / iCloud backup enabled only. Without this, as soon as I change phones, I'm doing my last compile and going to a free alternative called One Second Diary.

Cool concept. Basics work fine. Quadruple check your backup settings they dont handle this workflow well, been burned by it 2x when i thought i was all set

Easy to use but I've had a few issues saving created memories, to the point I just bought the pro version so I wouldn't risk losing them.

app is a great idea, the ads for both random stuff & the (unnecessary) pro version are constant and overwhelming

Failing exporting mash. Progress does not go beyond 1%. Can't calculate remaining time.

I have been using this app since 2020. I love the concept and it has helped me. But since the paid for service has come in I feel like they push you towards that by making the as version shoddy. The last two year videos haven't synced audio when exported which ruins them. And no matter how many exports I do it seems the audio drifts half way though. I feel this is due to the "standard" export on the unpaid version. Will have to look elsewhere.

My favourite app. I love checking back over my year and noticing, even if I've been through a bad period, how many nice things I've seen and done. I had a problem with my account and the whole team were super helpful - Keith especially checked in and made sure everything was OK both during and after my incident. If I didn't love 1SE before, having great customer service has sealed the deal for me!

Used to love this app when it was free. Now it costs over $60 just for one year. This sucks.

This app is incredible. I've been using it to capture memories since 2020, so for 5 years. & I've never had a complaint. It's brilliant. Since it's a new year, I just have a question/issue. I want to create a new journal for 2025 but since I'm not pro I'm limited to only 1 journal, so 2024. But at the end of this year, when I come to export all the memories, it will be a combination of 2024 & 2025, how do I fix this? Do I delete 2024 & restart?

I do love this app, however I am trying to download my mashed video for 2024 and the audio is out of sync as soon as I try to post it on social media and I'm not sure how to fix it. Super disappointing as I spent all year working on the project!

Updating my review as it appears the issue where the app was completely nonfunctional has fortunately been fixed. They were also able to fix other issues I was having. This app is really great when it works (and I think it is worth paying for); I have used it for years. However, it feels like it has been having more and more issues lately.

Saving into memory is not clear enough... Thought i could only upload it to their servers with share link. Otherwise it's fine, bit much of ads.

Turn off the AI and new mash option and it actually works

Won't let me download the year. Keeps freezing at 5%. I've left it alone for HOURS and nothing. Why am I paying for this???? *edit* no. I'm not the only one.

Used this for a few years when you had more features for free, came back this year. I will say I understand some features being locked behind a paywall, but the ability to download your video being one of those locked features is extremely disappointing, and is honestly having me reconsider using this next year.

It's been years since, as android user i still can't do basic actions - like use a live photo instead of a video, or import from Google photos WITHOUT downloading them one by one.. it's probably time to move on from the app as it doesn't seem to undergo much improvement usually

Stopped working since the last update. Videos won't load when I try and add them to my project. The contact support page also won't load, so I'm not sure what to do. I'm a paid user

So sad, after paying for this app using it every day of 2024. Have mashed one of my 4 videos... and it won't export or save, just keeping getting errors. Very disappointing
