really getting worse every year, huh? can't mark a few pins on your own board, just deleting every single one while getting into settings. can't rearrange pins on my own board. can't click "not interested" nor "delete" while browsing new ones anymore, just forced to watch pics you're not interested in.

This is absolutely terrible. There are so many ads now that it's becoming difficult to even see the actual content! At the very least, keep ads on the homepage, but please don't put them in search results. Search should prioritize relevant content, not advertisements.

Misleading about AI filtering. I was excited to use this app again when it announced that you'd opt out of seeing AI gen content. Buttons were easy find and it does limit like 80% BUT it feels like the app is trying to trick you into liking AI content. None of the AI is visibly labeled. The only way to see it's AI is to click the 3 dots next to the pic and then it'll say 'see less AI fashion, etc' so they know it's AI and that I have all the AI button switched off but showed it to me anyway

I don't think I have ever seen an app or service go downhill this quickly. I am a frequent Pinterest user over the last decade or so. This year they have undergone a massive change of some kind that has made the entire interface confusing. Ever search has 5-7 ads for every 10 spaces shown (meaning only 3-5 of them are actual pins). When they are not ads, the pin cover photos are all AI (especially for recipes!! crochet/sewing patterns?!) even with the AI option turned off. very disappointed.

Whenever I try to save a Pin, the board selection menu doesn't appear. Instead, the Pin is automatically saved to my profile's general Saved section. I can't choose which board I want to save it to. This issue started recently. Please fix this bug.

I find that there are MORE ads than pictures. Plus the increasing use of AI in photos AND ads. This is changing the experience of actually enjoying Pinterest. I've been with Pinterest for Years, I'm so confused why these changes are being made and disregarding all of the user wants.

too many ads, and when I changed my preferences I'm pushed inappropriate ad content. full on pop up Tenu ads every 2/3 clicks. it's changed how I interact with the app completely. also so much AI slop, almost nothing is original and real on here anymore.

big companies like this no longer care about people because their brand is big enough to look past what people want. they've added a new ai option where you can look at generated "inspiration/art" and there are ads EVERY page, even multiple trying to fit in my screen. is it that hard to do your ONE job and be a photo app?? would switch to tumblr, but that's its own depressing mess.

it was great but slowly it got worse. yk when I searched up smth, NONE OF THEM ARE RELATED TO WHAT I'M SEARCHING FOR. like for example, I searched up for poses reference but what showed up is so so so unrelated that it feels like looking at the home page. and it's so random 😭

An amazing app completely ruined by new updates. What do you mean I can't choose where to save pins now? what a disaster

hope this gets fixed soon... since yesterday, when I click on 'save', it automatically saves to profile without giving any other options. i logged out and logged back in, deleted and reinstalled the app, but it was still doing the same. I asked to chat for help and it told me that the answers were ai generated, and the ai basically told me 'that shouldn't happen, I have no idea why it is. would you like to talk to an actual human? to do so, please provide personal details'. which I'm not gonna.

i have loved this app for years and even stuck around through the invasive ads but now they have enforced "quick save" and it ruins the experience. it wastes your time having to go into quick save board then reassigning each pin individualy instead of right away in a matter of seconds. why even have boards at this point? and no way to shut off this new unorganization bug. and pintrest has no responce for the community that wants the old system back. yet another case of dont fix what wasnt broke

First of all, I know and I'm very much aware that every company needs money to atleast if not to feed their workers, to pay their server's rent, and here Pinterest had already put several ads into my feeds which I do occasionally think it was just a normal pin until I tap it, But now this is just getting worse, because now I'm starting to get a not skip-able ads every few clicks of pins? That it just appears on my whole screen? So whats next, a subscription for no ads on every 5 pin clicks?

Used to love this app 10+ years ago till maybe covid years. These days, cant tell advertisements from a real post. And all advertisements and posts alike, are 40% to 80% AI images. Load of thrash. Its really sad

Absolutely fed up with Pinterest. I’ve been reporting inappropriate ads dating back to 2024, but they keep reappearing, often worse than before. My feed is art, disney, cozy gaming and DIY, yet I'm shown sexual, voilent ads containing assault, kidnapping, coercion and threats with weapons repeatedly. Even with personalised ads off, this is what gets pushed. Reporting does nothing. Ad moderation system clearly isn’t working. Edit: We now also have pop-up ads that pop up when you open a pin.

It was working so well untill recently, the ads are very intrusive and appear everytime. You can't tell between an ad or a pin, you can click a pin and it's actually an ad. Every time. It's getting terrible

The new layout is absolutely horrible. I hate that the search bar is now at the bottom of the app instead of the top. It's just plain annoying and irritating. Please change it back.

The new update changed how you save pins. It takes a lot more buttons to save a pin where you want it to go. This sucks.

Removing the radial menu is the worst mistake they could have made, at least add a setting option/toggle for the menu type.

There is no other explanation for the state of this platform other than someone higher up at pinterest's internal team actively trying to sabotage this company. The past half a decade has been unexplainable, its as if they are actively cherry picking features that would make the experience of using this app as worse as possible, most of the changes arent even hit or miss or have any percievable benefits that they might have been trying to land. just sad state of affairs.

Every 4th pin is a terrible ai ad, and then after clicking on a few pins, I get full screen unskippable ads that lead me to the playstore with no option to get back to the app. Uninstalling.

Please get rid of your new feature that makes it so everything you save is automatically put in your profile and doesn't give you the option to save to a board. It is not convenient to have to go to your profile and edit a pin to the board you want. It's annoying and a waste of time. Also, bring back the suggestions for said board. Neither of these things needed to updated or fixed. They were perfectly fine before. And please get an actual contact support, not just a search bar.

i don't usually rate apps but since Pinterest is one of my fav apps I'm rating this rn because I'm definitely pissed off with the pop-up ads every time i click on some pins—it's just annoying. y'alls first offense is the sneaky ads that show up as a pin and when u clicked it will direct you to a site or an app but i let that pass—this one is too much...

everytime I leave a comment that grabs people's attention and gets liked and replies, the comment section gets turned off for me and I can't see how many likes it got, nor the reply. I hate this. it kills the social part of this app for me so bad and I'm mostly sure other people can still see it. yes, I am a minor, but those comments were NOT 18+. I'm gonna be 18 in like 6 months, but do I have to suffer while that happens if that IS the reason? k, bye.

I've been using Pinterest for over a decade and now with the new update I miss the old "save" buttons. The new ones are not as user friendly as the other ones, they're harder to reach with the tumb. It's just not good. Also, there are so many ads now.

Pinterest used to be fun, now its full of AI and non stop ads especially AI ads. I need perspective sometimes, but the AI is unrealistic so it's frustrating. I wouldn't mind the ads too much if it were companies giving ideas instead of forcing you to go to their websites and buy junk. I feel that the companies can also give good ideas and creativity, I'm just so tired of it being a link. The AI is horrible, unrealistics, and very unoriginal. Please fix this.

The moment I start using Pinterest I leave all other platform for searching information about my work project and many more I come here and I found so many options I used to improve my hobbies . I have so many great thing to say about Pinterest. but how much word I use that was still less to express Pinterest. at the end I would like to say that pls download it and it would end up with your favorite app .

Ive been using this app on and off for years. the increase in ads and ai content on Pinterest have been annoying enough but their ads on different apps suck more. if you're a millimeter off from the close button it automatically opens Pinterest (if you already have it downloaded at least). that's only gonna make people give you negative reviews and not want to use your app, there's better ways of advertising than this

I used to really love this app, but the influx of ai content, ads, and ai ads is making it unusable for me. whether I have gen-ai prefs turned off or not, it feels like I have the same amount of ai content still popping up. and the ADS holy carp, the amount genuinely feels sickening. it's about a 1-3 ratio, I'll see one pin and have to scroll a full length-two of my screen to see another (because the ads take up so much room, too). this sucks because there's not an alternative to pinterest yet.

Earlier I could scroll Pinterest peacefully for ideas, now the feed is full of excessive ads after every few pins. Many ads are irrelevant and completely unrelated to my interests. Please give an option to totally turn off ads or at least reduce them significantly and bring back the option to hide irrelevant ads. The current experience is very annoying.

Seeing an ad of two men kissing has turned me off and it's too much too see. I can see ads for products, but seeing two men kissing is just too much. UI changes are completely unnecessary and make the interaction process harder/less accessible. I feel like every update, Pinterest tries to change something random from their UI, only to revert it in the next update because it was annoying or useless. The ads are also getting unbearable. Sometimes I don't even see actual pins when I scroll, it's just ads. And it sucks because I like what this app does. I do want to use it. But every update degrades the quality.

I love Pinterest but I believe it become difficult to use. Not only with savings pins. But I genuinely cannot find my inbox to send and receive pins and messages from my friends! I've tried going through the help center and all the instructions to find my inbox did not work.

ruined by ads and ai. worst it's ever been, almost unusable without workarounds and luck. pins are subject to removal and rules violation, very difficult to remedy. sometimes accounts are banned for no reason either no warning, while pornographic ads are allowed. the only discussion on forums is how poorly the situation has gotten and how little effort the owners put in.

Terrible new save button update, basically unusable now.

after this most recent update, I am unable to even choose a board to pin things to. it automatically pins to my profile, and I have to manually change the board. it infuriates me. the more ideas also doesn't pin to the board they're for anymore. I am so upset.
