I've played this game for years when it was simple and ran a few ads. I played it often so I purchased the ad free version. However this game is anything but ad free now. I am bombarded with popups while playing asking me to watch ads for more stars or power ups. The random blocks where I complete a line stop the flow of gameplay to interrupt me to watch an ad on the ad free version. Now I get an ad for their new game that I cannot skip so I can play the game I downloaded. Don't install this.

dont install - was an amazing game but now it's back to the stone age touch screen smartphone - glitchy, controls out of reach to complain and far too expensive for ad free/game power ups.

you quite literally cannot get pass the add walls to play the "game" this company should be ashamed for releasing add slop.

Whoever approved the latest update needs fired. the game constantly making move recommendations is so obnoxious. I can't play it anymore..what a shame.

I've been playing this game for over 10 years on and off. I liked it but can't stand those annoying ads any longer. I will be uninstalling this and looking for something else, because I want to open the game to play, not to watch 30 seconds of an ad and 2 minutes later another ad pops up.

This used to be an exceptional game. It was relaxing and fun. Now the pop up ads are so frequent and usually have audio which interrupts whatever I was listening to while I played. It went from calming to frustrating to play. They got too hungry for money and totally ruined the app. Please go back to the way it was!

The 3 card choices are ruining the chilled experience of just slowly building up points. It completely stops gameplay intermittently and there's nothing I can do to avoid it. I think the developers have underestimated how fast you actually build the points. I've played this game for years now and have stuck with it through gameplay changes. I'd be sad to have to drop it. When its left alone, it is an excellent and relaxing game that I play a LOT of! I cannot overstate how much I play this haha

Just an unbelievable amount of ads. I've had this app for years and it's always been my favorite (and the cutest of the block games available). Now it's genuinely unplayable. You can't open it offline anymore without it getting stuck on the loading screen forever. There's an ad after every round. There's an ad every time you reach the unnecessary checkpoints they've added (probably to cram in more ads). Used to spend hours on it and now I hardly open the app. So disheartening :^(

Came back to the game after not playing for a while. it's fully unplayable now. All I see is a grid that's larger than my screen. No pieces to add to the board, no game to play. Tried again after waiting a few months for an update. Same thing. I used to love this game.

had this game for YEARS. used to be amazing, now its absolute trash. the new update makes it impossible to play. instead of getting an ad after losing (which never happened before btw) they have some BS "mile stones" so you get ads almost constantly. the game is nothing like it used to be, they've completely ruined it.

I would give this app 5 stars but all the adverts drive me completely crazy. I've seen them so often, and sometimes you have to press four things to get them to go away. I have no idea why these stupid adverts get repeated so often. And I can agree with all the other users who say this. I wouldn't mind paying once to get rid of all this rubbish, like kings being chased by snakes, Jesus.

the ads are so invasive and annoying. they play if you win or lose after every game and they are always the worst, longest ones. this game used to be relaxing and good for improving focus. now its an ad farm. logged in at 11:58 and the game froze on the loading screen for 2 full minutes. I just know that's on purpose to prevent players from getting in the daily puzzle before midnight. this game gets worse every time I play. soon I'm going to switch to to just mahjong.

How disappointing! I got this game again after 2 years and it's transformed now to the same boring block game which hundred other companies have, not a unique color match block game what it was. what a shame! won't play this! ☹️

Great concept. loved this game a few years ago. Since then they have added some new modes and ofcouse more ads and now the game is kinda broken? Certainly not unplayable just not the same smooth experience it used to be.

used to be my all time fav game but recent update completely broke it and they haven't done anything to fix it. try to open new game I have to click 4/5 times for it to register, it has blocks on top of each other and nothing actually goes once you get a line. when you use up all your blocks it doesn't give you new ones. can't play 😭

I have paid for no ads multiple times but every time there is a special update they expect you to pay for no ads again. I've played this game off and on for YEARS and loved it but this is getting ridiculous. Unless something changes I think I'm pretty much done with this app.

Truly addictive!

So I have had this game on my phone for almost a decade, and it pains me to write a bad review because it was my favorite game. But the recent updates have made it unplayable, not just the ads but in classic mode new blocks are not showing up, and cleared blocks aren't disappearing. I am disappointed by this, the game has changed over the years sure, but it would still function. I'll miss this game.

if you ask me to watch an ad for a reward most of the time I'll say ok BUT when you ask me to watch an ad for a reward and I say no and you play the ad anyway with no reward your game gets a zero.

it's getting worse, they have a feature that forces an ad ever 5000 points now. The additions to the game just make it laggy and frustrating.

Too many inconvenient ads...not what it use to be. You get an ad every time you complete a mini challenge which doesn't make the mini challenges worth playing. You also gets ads if you put the game down longer than a few minutes. this app isn't what it use to be and its not fun anymore. UPDATE: they have now added advertisements that play WHILE youre playing the game!! they automatically play every minute or so and you dont immediately get the option to mute them. disappointing and disgusting.

bonuses barely work, except for the daily one, and that's been removed. Needs serious debugging.

You could play this game offline when it first came out, but now you have to be logged in to the internet permanently just to use it and you get swamped with adds. 0/0 worst game on the app store.

Been playing this game for nearly 15 years... I've gone ad free on devices in the past, but havent on my current phone. They're annoying, but I've dealt with it. HOWEVER!! These new ads that showed up while playing today where they play sound during your game and FORCE you to listen to it for 5+ seconds before you can mute them? Girl they are NOT it. And now you basically have to pay $1 a month for no ads? So lame, I'd be willing to pay a flat fee, but not a monthly one come on 🙄

For a long time, this has been the only game I enjoyed playing. Sometimes, the only game left on my phone. But now it has been too annoying to play because of the forced ads. Sad.

I've been playing this game since middle school. I turned 24 this year. the sheer amount of ads make this unplayable. there's a shuffling of cards that all require you to watch an ad to receive. but wait, don't try and press the x so you don't pick any of the cards and just want to play the game it'll send you to another ad. there used to be an ad if you lost and the standard banner. ever since the progressive sponsorship this game has gone exponentially downhill. it's a shame. I truly loved it.

I would pay real money to play this game without ads.

very fun, but the last update will now only allow you to continue the game you were in the middle of if you pay for it or watch 7ads. So for someone like me who can play a single game for 30+ minutes without failing and having to stop to do something else, i lose thirty minutes of progress to my high score or I sour through watching ads. kind of lame and should be reversed.

they ruined this game with ads and turned it from a simple classic into a capitalistic hellscape.... save your childhood and don't download it. If they offered this game like it was from the beginning as a one time buy for $5 it would be the best $5 spent in the world....but now even if you spend $2 to remove ads (for 30 days) it will still force you to watch ads. return it back to the perfect cube cruncher that it was 😭

My game has completely broken. I have lost my 100k+ score in the classic mode and I am unable to do the daily challenge. Both of these are unplayable and have been for over a day now.

Despite purchasing the removal of ads, you still force me to view pop ups of your limited time sale ads. I can understand a one time pop up so that I am aware it is available— but having time see it every time I open the app or go to the home screen is unacceptable. It's insulting, and I don't suggest anyone buy the ad removal as it doesn't stop them from hamfisting their own ads into your face every chance they get.

I have been playing this game for a decade because I genuinely enjoy the puzzle. I have had to delete it now, when you open the app you are confronted with so many pop ups and daily challenges and "reward passes" or whatever it makes the game unplayable. I downloaded a diffrent more simple app that does the same puzzle. It used to be a great app but the developers have made it terrible.

Buggy as all hell. Routine crashes. But don't worry, the ads still work so when the app freaks out, it WILL randomly open an ad for no reason. Ever wanted to be randomly sent to the Google Play Store to download a game you despise without warning? Well YOU'RE In Luck! I'm sure that's a Bug, not a direct attempt by unscrupulously greedy people to squeeze a few more fractions of a penny out of the customer.

I've been playing this game for over 10 years, it used to be literally perfect but then out of nowhere after YEARS of staying the same they decided to make a dumb "only play for 24 hours" rule and it ends your score, I don't lose very often my scores have reached the 400,000's and they basically said F you, no high score for you and it killed the experience. change it back and I'll re-download.

Please stop adding "features" no one asked for - like the newest one as of March 2026 which limits you to how long you can play a game. Once you hit the time limit, you either need to pay with blocks to keep going or forfeit your progress. The developers have done some stupid things with this game over the years and it seems they are trying to top themselves with this change.

There are some bugs that have brought the gameplay quality down and ad presence has increased. The ads often start blaring their narration while I'm actively playing the game or take over my phone's screen and act like my phone has a virus. Edit on 3/6/26: Weekly badges still don't work properly - even after the latest update - and the "alerts" about my phone having a virus have increased and are unacceptable. I'm deleting this game.

Been playing since I asked someone on a flight what they where playing. Love that I don't have to have internet access (but it helps) and its my all time go to that keeps my grandkids busy when we are having one of those days.

Finally changed my 5* review from 2017 to a 1* and uninstalled this game after so many recent updates that only add unnecessary features and ads after ads.

use to be a great game to play, not so great with updates they made. looks cartoonist now and locks up after daily puzzle. half the time does not give the daily reward. not as much fun as used to be.

Edit: Changing review from a 1 star into a 5 star since they now let us opt out of Frenzy mode. Thank you for fixing that horrible mistake yall make with that. Ive played this game for years and years, and I love how meditative it is. Frenzy mode would have ruined it; allowing a classic play mode with none of the weird stuff yall have added recently is great. :)

I have been playing this game for several years now. It has changed since I played last time and I prefer how it was simpler, no modes, classic with little customization. Now there's a lot of ads and I am thinking of uninstalling the game. I also miss the old notification where it said "1010 is waiting for you". I think it was a funny way to make you play the game.

Love the game for years but please let us be able to opt out of frenzy mode permanently. it's annoying to have to do it manually for each event.

I enjoy the game except for two glitches I encounter each week with the daily rewards puzzle. Firstly, there is no way to exit from the screen on Day 8 to get back to the main screen. An X at the bottom would take care of that. Secondly, the indication of a new weekly start seems off. It always skips a day, so I have never gotten a "perfect" week. This too is easily fixed if the puzzle hits a new day either at midnight of the player's time or resets as the new day at whatever time they play it.

I've been playing this game on and off for years without issues. I have uninstalled the game, and when I reinstall it, it logs me back in automatically. every time except this time. it won't let me log in to my Google Play account, and I lost everything and I have to start all over again what do I do?

Previously I have rated this game for our for stars. I used to love this game but I just give up now since they have introduced the awful Frenzy mode. There is apparently no way to switch it off. There are other similar games around. Maybe now is the time to find an alternative.

Putting my review back to 5 stars. They added on a way to opt out of the new Frenzy mode, and the only play as the classic version. I have played this game for many years, for me it is a way to relax and unwind while trying to fall asleep. The new Frenzy mode is a startling jump scare, so be aware!! I am very grateful that they added a way to avoid playing Frenzy.

I have played this game for years. it's my go-to for short stints. I always loved that it was bare-bones. Now it is filled with bloat that I cannot avoid. I would be fine with the extra content if it was in its own mode and I could still have the original mode. Dropped from a 5 star game. This used to be a fun, simple puzzle game with a banner ad across the bottom. Now its more and more junk and play this play that and ads that cut into gameplay. Stop trying to do too much and go back to basics.

Have had to change my review from 5 stars. After 10 years of playing 10 10, it has gotten more and more stressful to play, with additions such as daily check ins, mindfulness mode, frenzy mode and constant interruptions. I've also been seeing adverts on the paid version of the game. Hopefully gram games does not continue with their new partnership and returns this app to its more simple previous form. We just want to play a simple relaxing puzzle game.

A simple & amazing game. I have been playing this for several years in waiting rooms, on busses; it's a classic. However, I found in the past several months with adding features like the frenzy mode, or advantage blocks through ads or icons that show up on the grid game. I can't find a way to turn off frenzy mode or go back to the original game as there isn't anything in the settings. It's a bit upsetting. I still enjoy it - I just miss when it was simply beating high scores.

Absolutely loved this game. had played it since it came out, it was fantastic but the last year or so it's become terrible with constant updates, numerous ads and many unneeded extra features. bring back of the good old basic, no ads, no stress game.

That's unacceptable to me. Additionally, the streak rewards never work for day 2. I'm honestly considering uninstalling it because of these changes.

All these new updates are amazing and I've been playing this game since before there were Ads. Regarding the new updates though, the daily prize thing along the bottom where you get something new every day, I never get day 2. I play every day, I have the daily puzzles to back it up, but I never get day 2, only 1, 3-7.

I've been using this app for years and am greatly disappointed in the route it's been going. it used to be ad-free for the longest time, no microtransactions, no complicated features, until these past couple years. now, you get all these pop-ups, there's "power-ups" you can use (I don't even bother), these random "frenzy" modes that activate automatically - it's unnecessary chaos in a relaxing game. the game at its core is fun and peaceful, but the app is becoming increasingly horrendous :(

Game has be one almost unplayable. The game stopping every time you get the stars, or the bonus things. All useless. And now the star stays in the middle, making it completely terrible to play. What was this update for? Can there at least be a toggle so you don't see the preview. It just lags the game even more. Dec 25, they added a frenzy mode. this game takes longer to play than some JRPGs. uninstalled for terribleness.

ive have had this game on my phone for a LONG time, and it has been a great one for me. but these updates with these random modes are getting out of hand. I understand certain audiences and the whole lot, but can we please allow users who do not want these modes to be able to turn them off within the settings. a great little game that is completely over run with micro transactions. having the pro version doesn't stop sales popping up like anyone would spend real money to buy a theme. utterly ridiculous.

I have loved and played this game for many years. When I needed to chill and take my mind off of things, this game was always there for me. However, there have been recent changes, and now it seems there's no longer be an option to remove ads completely. This ruins the vibe. I will wait and see if this improves, but now I feel I need to look for a new default puzzle app. Regardless of what the future holds, thank you for the memories.

I paid to remove ads, but i still get them. also, the new modes get in the way. after eight years of playing 1010 without it, i thought it was fine. the undo button was a nice touch, but there's no need for adventure mode or for the store to change the way it did. so much of this is unnecessary and takes away from the reason we actually played the game.

First, the game is fun. I've been playing for years. However, over the past 2 years, they have made additions that have overcomplicated the game and instead of fixing them, they just keep adding more. Stars are worthless once you have all the backgrounds, most of which are ugly or impossible to see, "blocks" are pay-to-win microtransactions in a single-player game, they started putting ads in even if you pay to remove ads, and they made the block generation worse to push their new power-ups

This game used to be so chill and relaxing. Now it's just stressful because every 5 seconds, there's some kind of popup. I once paid money to have the ads removed. Guess that didn't mean anything because now they're back. They just keep ruining it and making it less enjoyable.

my only issue currently is with the new daily gift. for some reason every week it skips day 2. yesterday was day one and today it's saying I missed a day and that it's day three. it's been this way since they started doing it. other than that the game is wonderful.

played this for years bit now getting ads that you can't get past without clicking in to open them, something I don't put up with so unfortunately uninstalled, it's fun but not the only game in the block

Have been playing this games for years. it not fun anymore because after delete and reinstall again my high score become 0 and have to restart all over again. After reinstall it only have the rotating and redo button. Hope to have the oldest version back.

I have played this game for years now and it's honestly kinda funny to me seeing still the changes they make to it. The thing that never changes is the main game mechanics which makes me happy. One question though... What is the point of collecting stars anymore? I have over 10,000 now and there is no way for me to spend them. I am wondering if they removed that mechanic but still gift you stars as a reward. Whenever I want to buy themes I can only buy them with blocks so that isn't the answer.

UPDATE 2025: I tried again. SCAM! Offers ads in free version, but you will be given choices that cannot possibly be played to set you up for the ads, and then the ads will not prevent your score zeroing out. 1010 was amazing at first, and I had a lot of fun with it. but there's no point to a game that deliberately sabotages you. Some people comment that this only happens on the free app, but plenty have warned me this happens on the paid app too.

Love it, but downgraded from 5 stars to 3 stars because of the following: I really wish I had the choice of resetting my high score back to zero. The only way I can find is to delete the account but that can take up to 30 days. And I'm so damn addicted to this game that I can't go 30 days without playing it! Can you please make this a patch?

I miss how smooth the game used to play. Since updating, the pieces move in a very snappy way, it's jarring.

I've changed my review because there are ads now, even though I paid for no ads. It seems like the developers are trying to sneak in ads in the paid version. Very dishonest of them.

Fun game, but annoying ads. When the game ends it plays an ad that turns the volume down on my music ap. new update requires log in and info, no thanks

I used to live this game but the developers are trying to make this game more complicated than it needs to be. the main reason for my low rating though is the INSANE number of push notifications I receive daily

I've loved this game for years! I loved the flexible game play. Since the Progressive take over, it has gone to complete garbage. The ads are more aggressive, some even saying my phone has a virus, and the frivolous extra content that is required to get the bonuses is annoying. I was hoping they would clean it up. But now I have to create an account to "connect all devices." I'd rather lose my top score then give out more permissions. I'm uninstalling.

I feel like I can't play this game anymore. I get to a high score but it doesn't keep it. It looks like I am advancing but when I reopen the game another time it's back at the lower score that I already played. Doing a "force stop" from my settings works only sometimes. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the game only to have the same issue again after a few days. I liked the game as an easy not much thinking type of game but not anymore. I don't want to keep starting at that lower score everyday.

I am SO upset. "DON'T FIX WHAT ISN'T BROKEN" is some EXCELLENT advice for anyone. Who takes a classic game and butchers it this badly? WHO CARES WHAT THE LOYAL PLAYERS THINK - all companies that fail. Thanks for the entertainment over the years, I'll remake you one day. People will appreciate it.

This game was rad when you could lose. The scores are meaningless now.

adverts display as nonstop video banner. game is unplayable. so many other ways to use adverts, but a constant video for a zen game of concentration? idiotic

Good but I need help! Playing 1010! I lost my high score due to an ad running. I typically don't care about ad's because it helps pay you the bills. But can I get my high score back? A life jacket feature that can be activated especially when it appears to be no fault of my own would be great. score was 1155059

I was playing this game and it redirected me to an online website that says I have a virus (scam). That is pretty messed up because most people that play this game will be older people that will fall for scams like this.

ads-fest game. Don't update to the latest because after several moves, the game will pop up multiple annoying ads. yes this game had ads, but ok borders, top or bottom, heck, it had no ads originally.

Within a minute of opening the app for the first time, I was redirected to a browser page that claimed my phone had been hacked and gave me a two minute countdown to tap a big, definitely-not-suspicious button to save my device. Excessive and scammy pop-up ads are one thing, but a game redirecting me to a page that's supposed to scare me into giving myself malware is ridiculous. Pretty sure I've never uninstalled an app so fast before.

I thoroughly enjoy the game and would give it five stars, except for the fact there seems no way to sync sessions between my mobile device and Google Games on my computer.

I used to love this game, I would play it constantly but this latest update is terrible. The game is called 1010, so it was a 10 × 10 board that you would play on, not anymore which makes no sense since your game's name is 1010!! Unfortunately I have to delete it, so you lost a long time player.

Really enjoy the challenges. What I do not like is if I have not been on for a couple days, when it boots up, it will stall and I have to completely shut the game off and restart the app. it will default back to where you leave off.

what happen to the old version where you had to match the color blocks in order to clear them from the grid. I use to love playing that one. I uninstalled this game because it's not the original one I liked. please let me know if I can still download the old version. thank you.

Not sure what's happened since the last update, but the daily puzzle pieces appear to have been made really big now and the normal puzzle pieces are the original size. Not sure if it's because of a bug or something in the game?

doesn't transfer from old phone to new phone lost almost 3 years of skins and making me start from 0 beyond upset. and no support to helped or even reached out. uninstalled now.

Nice game, but the ads are very long and annoying. Sometimes I couldn't find how to return to the game from the ad and I had to kill the app.

Was fine but gratuitous ads ruin it now. Useless countdowns and forced ads no matter what you do, why are you forcing this so hard.

I'd been playing this game for nearly a decade and the most recent updates ruined it for me. Game is now very jittery and sluggish, and the new features are very distracting from the otherwise relaxing presentation. Ads everywhere. Block pieces no longer move smoothly, which is frustrating and just looks awful. App just functions worse than before. I wish I could roll my app back to the previous version, because as it is now I won't play anymore. I miss the old version, it was such a great game!

I love it but I have one problem! I just bought new phone and I can't transfer all my beautiful themes I have painstakingly tried getting... I'm sad and I can't seem to contact the app devs anywhere

had this game for a couple of years and loved playing it, but as of recently the ads have gotten way too frequent and now my shien app gets opened up every couple of minutes on me and I'm pretty annoyed by that.

Have played and loved this game for years. But it's now been ruined by a desperate attempt to make money through ads and microtransactions. Huge shame. The offline experience is also now bugged and doesn't reset properly after a lost round. No doubt because it's attempting to play an ad.

I've been playing this game for more than 10 years now and I've tried so many games similar to this but I always come back to it, the shapes are simple, the themes are pretty nice, and at the end of the day it feels rewarding in a way, I always like the fact that there's not ads 24/7 that pop up only really when u want to get extra items and also an ad free option which doesn't cost much.

I like the game and definitely the best in this genre, but please take away the power ups ,

Game is good. Far too many ads for me to play it though. this game used to haves ads just on the bottom but I come back after awhile an update happened Now there are unskippable full-screen ads that ruin the whole experience. I'm not going to pay for "ad-free" as I'm not going to support a creator that makes the base experience of the app a terrible experience
